Fox News Airs ‘Unbelievable’ Video of Georgia Senate Candidate Doing Nothing Wrong

It can be a painful spectacle to watch when desperation sets in. That’s been so true of Donald Trump and his pathetic crusade to overturn the will of the American people and proclaim himself President-for-Life. And it’s equally true of Fox News as they scramble to justify their raging right-wing bias amidst an avalanche of bad news for the flailing, lie-riddled, conservative agenda that is their mission to support.

Fox News Alert

The upcoming Senate runoff races in Georgia will determine whether Mitch McConnell remains the obstructionist GOP Senate majority leader. Incumbents David Purdue and Kelly Loeffler are shamelessly fawning Trump sycophants who will serve McConnell’s will. Their Democratic opponents, Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock are running close races that will hinge on voter turnout.

Consequently, Fox News is pulling out all the stops to malign the Democrats. However, they are obviously running low on material with which to attack them. And they even seem, at times, to be resigned to losing. On Tuesday’s episode of Tucker Carlson’s White Nationalist Hour he revealed what he thought was an explosive story that would doom Rev. Warnock to defeat. But try as he might, the story was a flaming dud. It’s weakness as both journalism and propaganda is evident in this exchange with Fox “News” correspondent Rick Leventhal:

Carlson: The race is two weeks from now on January 5th, so it’s a little late in the game to be getting this footage we’re about to show you, exclusively. This is footage of Raphael Warnock’s wife.
Leventhal: This is never before seen video, a Tucker Carlson Tonight exclusive. Georgia Democratic Senate candidate Raphael Warnock, accused by his now ex-wife Ouleye of running over her foot.

So Leventhal is reporting that Ouleye Warnock made her allegations during “a heated argument” last March. Which Carlson admits is too long ago to be bringing it up, but which he does anyway. More to the point, the video shows Rev. Warnock describing an incident wherein nothing actually happens. He asserts that she was faking her her alleged injury, and Leventhal’s follow up corroborates that with the facts that Rev. Warnock wasn’t charged, and that the hospital first responders who examined her found no evidence of any injury.

Nevertheless, Fox News continued the report with Ouleye’s obviously biased and disparaging comments about her estranged husband’s character. To which Carlson replies, “That video is unbelievable. That woman is believable.” It’s hard to imagine what Carlson finds so “unbelievable” about that video, other than that it is unbelievably insignificant. Although it’s interesting that Carlson is suddenly taking the allegations of an allegedly abused woman seriously. Too bad that it’s regarding an incident where the facts show that no abuse occurred.

Clearly Carlson and Fox News are only interested in the harm this video can do to Rev. Warnock and his campaign. There is no substance to the allegations or news value in the report. It’s simply a wild swing at a political foe, taken in the hopes of some negative residue sticking. And the video has been making the rounds of right-wing media, including Fox’s sister publication, the New York Post, as well as Glenn Beck’s The Blaze, One American News Network (OANN), and the Daily Caller, which Carlson founded.

If they had any relevant dirt with which to smear Rev. Warnock or Jon Ossoff, they surely would be using it. So this is, in effect, an admission that they have no honest criticisms at all. They’re just throwing mud at the wall, and what’s really sad, is that they aren’t even hitting the wall.

Trump Shill on Fox News Concedes that Republicans Will Lose Georgia and the Senate

It’s been seven weeks since Donald Trump was humiliated by becoming the first reality TV game show host to lose reelection as president to a “sleepy” opponent who commanded an army of thousands running a “rigged” election. And Trump continues to whine daily that he was “robbed,” while posting laughably phony “evidence” of fraud that he declined to present in any of the nearly sixty lawsuits he’s lost.

Fox News Sad

On Monday morning Fox News Senior Trump-Fluffer, Maria Bartiromo, invited Trump’s alleged trade advisor, Peter Navarro, on her show to discuss allegedly corrupt election systems, a subject that Navarro has zero expertise in (video below). The resulting conversation was predictably preposterous as Navarro dodged and weaved to make points that were either incoherent or contrary to his own narrative. For example…

Bartiromo: Do you believe that this was organized in big cities by somebody in Washington?
Navarro: So there’s a couple of things to unpack here. First of all, one of the findings in our report is that there’s no silver bullet. There’s no single thing that did it. Death by a thousand cuts. Death by these six dimensions of election irregularities.

And finally getting to the answer to Bartiromo’s leading question…

Navarro: Yes. It was coordinated in the Democratic Party with respect to things like relaxing rules in Georgia with that consent decree, or going into Pennsylvania and having them change guides, or going into Wisconsin and having them change the definition of involuntarily confined voters. Brass knuckle stuff. And this all should have been fought out in the legal process cause it’s clearly breaking the law.

But despite not identifying any law that was broken, or supplying any evidence of illegality…

Navarro: So yes, it was coordinated just like a page out of Lee Atwater’s book. It’s like “get it done, stuff the ballot box, by any means necessary.” And we need that investigated because we can’t go forward and have for … I strongly believe that that election in Georgia needs to be postponed till February, till we sort that out. Georgia, of the six states I looked at, is a cesspool, a cesspool of these election irregularities. And if the people in Georgia and this country can’t have confidence in their elections, and we wind wind up with these irregularities putting in two Democrat (sp) senators … Elections have consequences. We all know what’s gonna happen after that.

No, we don’t all “know what’s gonna happen.” What exactly is Navarro implying? For the record, Atwater was a Republican dirty trickster who repented for his vicious brand of politics on his deathbed. More to the point, Navarro is virtually conceding that Republicans Kelly Loeffler and David Purdue are bound for defeat by their Democratic challengers, Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff. Navarro certainly wouldn’t want to postpone an election if he thought his side was winning. What’s more, Navarro’s characterization of Georgia – a state with a GOP governor and Secretary of State managing the election – as a “cesspool” is only going to dissuade more Republicans from voting at all in the January 5th Senate runoff.

Navarro went on to advocate for a “a special counsel that we put in place before inauguradation (sp) day to get to the bottom of this.” He also said that he wanted “to seize a lot of these voting machines.” Even Fox News is walking back their preposterous allegations of election fraud, although they are doing so under threat of a lawsuit by the companies they’ve been slandering for the past few weeks.

And never mind that the election in Georgia has already been certified by the Republicans in charge and can’t be changed. Navarro is totally on board with Trump’s delusional notion that he can orchestrate a coup and retain power indefinitely. It’s becoming downright pathetic as Trump and his minions cling to ever more ludicrous threads of conspiracy theories and the ravings of crackpot Internet trolls. You really have to wonder if there is any bottom that these losers will sink to.

Fox News Debunks Itself In Fear Of Defamation Lawsuit Over Election Fraud Lies

Anyone who has watched more than a few minutes of Fox News knows that they are a reliable source of flagrant lies, malicious slander, and brazenly biased right-wing propaganda. But for a network that has been shamelessly disseminating dangerous disinformation for years, Fox News has just exhibited a bit of uncharacteristic regret.

Fox News, Titanic

Smartmatic is a voting software company that Fox has had in their crosshairs ever since Donald Trump suffered his decisive and humiliating loss to Joe Biden. The network aired numerous segments that accused Smartmatic of deliberately sabotaging their products in order to fraudulently deliver an election victory to Biden. The conspiracy theories that Trump and his incompetent attorneys constructed were bizarre and far removed from reality. But that didn’t stop Fox News from promoting them on Trump’s behalf.

Last week Smartmatic sent Fox News a “cease and desist” letter demanding that they retract the false and defamatory “election fraud” stories under threat of legal action. Shortly thereafter, Fox started airing a peculiar interview debunking the conspiracy theories that have been featured by some of their top hosts. It’s clear that Fox News is concerned about the potential lawsuit, so they manufactured this segment in order to divert attention from their lies, pretend they reported accurately, and thus protect themselves from legal liability.

The segment consisted of an interview of voting software expert Eddie Perez. But it was not a retraction. It aired first during the Trump-fluffing Lou Dobbs program on the Fox Business Channel. Dobbs introduced it as just another “opinion.” Which means that Fox News remains at risk for the prior defamatory broadcasts.

However, Dobbs did not even conduct the interview. There was an unidentified, disembodied voice asking questions, with the answers by Perez edited in. Perez told CNN that he found this unusual and wasn’t told about this prior to his interview. Perez also said that “it was unusual for the news package to simply end with no comment from Dobbs and then cut to a commercial break.”

Perez told the mysterious interviewer that he “had not seen any evidence that Smartmatic software was used to delete, change, alter, anything related to vote tabulation.” He said that he wasn’t aware that Smartmatic software was used anywhere in the United States other than Los Angeles County. He refuted claims that Smartmatic and Dominion were connected to one another. He also shot down allegations that the company was connected to George Soros or that any votes were tabulated outside of the U.S. And lastly, he said that he was not aware of any incidents where Smartmatic’s software was “banned in the U.S. due to security weaknesses or wrongdoing.”

This interview subsequently aired during the programs of notorious Trump promoters “Judge” Jeanine Pirro and Maria Bartiromo. Along with Dobbs, these programs frequently hosted Trump’s “losing is winning” lawyer Rudy Giuliani, and his QAnon supporting lawyer Sidney Powell. They were among the Trump sycophants who regularly spread the sort of lies on Fox News that resulted in the legal action taken by Smartmatic.

Fox’s efforts to crawl out from under this legal rock are doomed to failure. They are not satisfying Smartmatic’s demands for a retraction. But they are indirectly conceding that their broadcasts were riddled with defamatory content. Why else would they suddenly air this awkwardly produced interview? And Fox’s history of refusing to correct the errors and lies they put on their air makes this concession all the more significant.

Fox News is plainly afraid of being held accountable and are desperately scrambling to shield themselves from liability. The network is folding like a lawn chair. That’s how bullies respond when they are challenged. Smartmatic is setting a good example for all of the others who have been defamed by Fox News. Hopefully we will see more of this in the future.

UPDATE: Newsmax has broadcast a retraction of the defamatory statements about Smartmatic that they previously aired. They refuted most of the lies that Trump and his media sycophants have been disseminating and blamed it all on “guests, attorneys, and elected officials” who appeared o the network. Clearly they are worried about the threatened litigation, As they should be.

MUST SEE VIDEO: The Fox News Virus: Rupert Murdoch’s Empire of Misinformation

On Friday evening MSNBC’s “All In with Chris Hayes” aired a segment that neatly encapsulated the human atrocity that is Rupert Murdoch and his virulently un-American right-wing media empire.

Be sure to visit and follow News Corpse on Instagram.

Fox News Rupert Murdoch

The segment simply must be seen to do it justice. And therefore, here is an excerpt of the opening, followed by the video of this righteous rant:

“For the past nine months Rupert Murdoch-owned media have, by and large, waged a war against public health and the scientific consensus on containing the corona virus. On Fox News and elsewhere they’ve been playing down the virus and peddling just outright lies and pushing junk science and elevating cranks. All of which has tangibly, materially contributed to behavior that has made the pandemic worse.

“And what makes it all the more infuriating is that — as we have noted — while Fox hosts have been dismissing the experts, and suggesting lockdowns don’t work, and ridiculing people that avoid the office and follow public health guidelines, many Fox News employees have been working remotely at the same time.

“So now we arrive at the question of the vaccine. And last night one of Murdoch’s minions went on air to coyly just ask questions and rail against the offense of pro-vaccine propaganda that’s propagated by all corners of the media and the elite consensus that you should get the vaccine. Quote: ‘On the question of the coronavirus vaccine, our leaders are definitely not pro-choice. Their view is “do what you’re told and don’t complain.”‘ Of course, no one is actually telling you what to do. The vaccine is voluntary.”

https://youtu.be/ObTqhMBCuro

The “minion” of which Hayes spoke was Fox’s Senior White Nationalist, Tucker Carlson. And he did indeed devote much of his program to disgorging flagrant lies about the coronavirus vaccine. He characterized it as the key component of a plot to enslave Americans under some undefined threat of “social control.” His preposterous horror story included evil doctors, tech companies, media figures, and politicians. He even fingered Dr. Anthony Fauci, who Carlson asserted was both a ring leader and incompetent.

Hayes went on to point out some blatant hypocrisies. For instance, Fox News never bothered castigate Vice-President Mike Pence, who publicly got the vaccination that Fox News is now disparaging as a marketing ploy to trap people in their net of social control. Hayes also recounted how Murdoch’s New York Post set out to deliberately ruin the life of an innocent and heroic COVID nurse by spreading lascivious tales about her personal life that had no news value. The only purpose for the story was to be cruel in order to make a trivial political point

Hayes closed with a summary of how Murdoch fits into in this picture by noting that it was just “another day In the life of one of the most destructive people on the planet.” Which pretty well captures Murdoch’s villainous role. He is the lynchpin in the cabal of conservativism that is dragging down the American principles of freedom and democracy. And if he is allowed to get away with it, the American experiment will end in failure.

WTF? Trump Pardons Russia for Hacking U.S., Blames China

After days of conspicuous silence, Donald Trump has finally addressed the report that Russia hacked into several U.S. government agencies including the Pentagon, the Treasury Department, and Homeland Security. It was a cyber attack that officials described as “significant and alarming.”

Be sure to visit and follow News Corpse on Instagram.

Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin

Trump’s appalling negligence and dereliction of duty is emblematic of his weakness as a “leader,” as well his servile relationship with Vladimir Putin. And as if to reinforce his dangerous deficiencies and suspect loyalties, Trump took to his Twitter machine to post this on Saturday morning…

Trump is, once again, contradicting his own administration to arrive at these ludicrous conclusions. Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo said that “This was a very significant effort, and I think it’s the case that now we can say pretty clearly that it was the Russians that engaged in this activity.”

What’s more, it wasn’t sufficient for Trump to absolve Russia of its obvious guilt. Nope, he was compelled to cast blame on China with absolutely zero evidence. And he also lashed out at the media for reporting the truth as supplied by his own intelligence agencies. And even found a way to connect this to his fantastical delusions that he won the election. But at least he got it right that this is all an “embarrassment for the USA,” although he fails to realize that he’s the reason.

It’s hard to elaborate on this blatant abdication of duty, patriotism, and trust. Trump has literally given up on pretending that he is the least bit interested in the welfare of America or it’s people. He has demonstrated that previously by presiding over an utterly incompetent management of the deadly coronavirus pandemic that has taken the lives of more than 320,000 Americans.

And now Trump is sucking up again to his BFF Putin who he has never once been able to criticize. Whether it was Russia’s interference in the 2016 election, or his placing bounties on the heads of American soldiers in Afghanistan, Trump has reliably come to Putin’s defense. So it leaves us with one pressing question: Whose side is Trump on?

Fox News Boss Murdoch Gets COVID Vaccine While Tucker Carlson Spews Anti-Vax Lies

The clock is ticking on Donald Trump’s inevitable eviction from the People’s (White) House. And in his remaining days Trump is wholly consumed with futile legal gambits and his burning obsession to overturn the decision of the American people and convince the nation that he actually won the presidential election by a landslide. Mental illness is truly a devastating disease.

Be sure to visit and follow News Corpse on Instagram.

Fox News, Tucker Carlson

Meanwhile, Trump has abandoned any and all pretenses to governing the country. That’s especially evident in his callous neglect of the coronavirus pandemic that is rapidly escalating in severity. The threat to millions around the world has even reached the top of the elitist crowd, including Fox News chairman, Rupert Murdoch. It was reported Friday that he managed to slip ahead of the line to get himself vaccinated in England.

“A convoy of Range Rovers delivered the 89-year-old billionaire to a dedicated vaccine centre in Henley, Oxfordshire, where normal hours are understood to have been extended at the last minute.”

That’s right, Rupert Murdoch, whose network has repeatedly downplayed the COVID-19 pandemic, mocked solutions such as mask wearing and social distancing, promoted quack cures like hydroxychloroquine and bleach, and propped up the irresponsible lies of Trump and his Republican confederates, will be safe and secure thanks to the socialist National Health Service of the U.K. It’s good to know that wealthy octogenarians are protected from this disease so that they can oversee their media empires that place the rest of the nation/world in peril.

And that’s precisely what Murdoch’s network did on Thursday night. Tucker Carlson’s primetime Fox News program was largely devoted to coronavirus lies and propaganda. And he focused much of his screed on conspiracy theories related to the emerging vaccines. Carlson smugly disparaged anyone who had positive things to say about the vaccine and mocked people describing their experience getting vaccinated. He also made a point of overemphasizing any of the very few and minor reports of side effects, asserting that they were proof that the vaccine shouldn’t be trusted. Nor should the doctors and experts who advocate for the vaccine that he says is being sold to an unwitting populace (videos below):

“So, how are the rest of us supposed to respond to a marketing campaign like this? Well, nervously. Even if you’re strongly supportive of vaccines, and we are, even if you recognize how many millions of lives have been saved over the past 50 years by vaccines, and we do, it all seems a bit much. It feels false, because it is. It’s too slick.”

Get it? Don’t buy the sales pitch that is being directed at you by medical professionals and epidemiologists. They are all out to get you. And their purpose is nothing less than complete control of your bodies:

“In this country, we control our own bodies. They are always telling us that. But no. Suddenly, the rules have changed. On the question of the corona vaccine, our leaders definitely are not pro-choice. Their view is do as you are told and don’t complain. No uncomfortable questions. Those are not just suggestions, they are rules and Silicon Valley aims to enforce them. […] So whatever you do, don’t say this is social control because if you do, the richest and most powerful people in the world will act in perfect coordination to shut you down immediately.”

So it isn’t just evil doctors. The plotters also include power hungry techies like Bill and Melinda Gates. Carlson is claiming that the vaccine’s proponents are engaged in some sort of plot to enforce “social control,” and that any divergence from that plot will be dealt with harshly. He claimed that vaccine advocates are lying and threatening people to get them to comply. However, he never supplied a single example of any of those alleged lies and threats. Nor could he support his preposterous claims that people would be forced to take the vaccine.

Carlson went even further to malign the reputation of Dr. Anthony Fauci, whom he called “Lord Fauci” and complained that the media would not allow any criticism of the infectious disease expert. He said that Dr. Fauci was “ordering you around like an animal” so that “you wouldn’t notice how incompetent” he is. He said that Dr. Fauci’s “credibility has been significantly degraded.” This, Carlson said, is because Dr. Fauci warned people that gathering in groups during Thanksgiving would increase their potential for exposure to the coronavirus and result in a “surge superimposed on a surge.”

Carlson then claimed that no such surge has occurred. However, the actual data shows that the U.S. is currently experiencing higher rates of infections, hospitalizations, and deaths, than at any time since the virus first appeared. Carlson is flagrantly – and dangerously – lying. And they are the same lies that were recently told by his Fox News colleague, Laura Ingraham.

This would be a good time to note that Fox News lawyers have successfully argued in court that Carlson and other Fox crackpots could not be held liable for their lies because “no reasonable person” would take them seriously. The problem with that argument is that if Fox’s viewers were reasonable, they wouldn’t be watching Fox. Consequently, there should be real consequences for the harm done by Carlson and the others at Fox News who deliberately spread false and harmful disinformation. But at least Rupert will be okay in his Oxfordshire mansion while his media lackeys are getting tens of thousands of others killed.

Fox News Host Bashes ‘Medical Tyrants’ in ‘War on Christmas’ Coronavirus Rant

As the nation continues to suffer through a wave of surging coronavirus infections, hospitalizations, and deaths, Donald Trump remains distant and uncaring. He is still obsessed with proving that he beat Joe Biden by a landslide, despite failing to provide any evidence of it and losing more than sixty court cases challenging the election.

Be sure to visit and follow News Corpse on Instagram.

Fox News, Christmas, Coronavirus

Naturally, Fox News is feeling acute remorse on Trump’s behalf. But like him, they couldn’t care less about the American people who are struggling with a deadly health crisis and the economic calamity that accompanies it. On Wednesday evening, Fox’s Laura Ingraham presented a segment that demonstrated just how heartless – and dishonest – she and her network can be. As if that hasn’t been made clear a thousand times in the past year.

The segment featured graphics complaining about “Medical Tyrants Stripping Personal Freedoms,” and that the “Medical Establishment Declares War on Christmas.” You have to admire Ingraham’s ability to malign doctors as both tyrants and anti-Christmas warriors. The rant began with Ingraham blaming the entire “medical cartel” abomination on Biden, who won’t be president for another month (video below):

“While Biden outsources our freedoms to China, he’s gonna let the medical cartel eviscerate your personal liberties here at home. Now remember all those warnings about traveling during Thanksgiving and getting together with friends and family? I guess they didn’t celebrate in the Midwest and great plains because cases in those regions are plummeting. Well, of course they celebrated. These predictions often don’t come to pass.”

If you remember all the warnings about traveling during Thanksgiving, then you should be aware that such gatherings actually did contribute to the spike in COVID-19 infections. In fact, by every measure the pandemic is far worse now than at any time since it first appeared. Ingraham cherry-picked a region wherein there was some temporary decline, but she ignored the national data that refutes her preposterous contention that cases and deaths are “plummeting.” To the contrary, they are accelerating at a frightening rate.

Following her counterfactual prologue, Ingraham conducted an interview with disgraced, “herd immunity” advocate, Scott Atlas, who has no credentials in infectious diseases and whose views are so far removed from the credible medical community that he was ousted from Trump’s coronavirus task force. He told Ingraham that it was pointless to limit business and social contacts because that change in behavior doesn’t have any effect. What’s more, he claimed that “80 to 90 percent of people have been wearing masks” and it hasn’t helped.

For the record, those numbers are only for certain outdoor, public activities. For indoor activities, including holiday celebrations, mask compliance is only about 56 percent. And in any case, all the available scientific study proves that masks are effective for preventing virus transmission.

For Ingraham to be putting out these lies and disinformation while more Americans are dying than ever, is beyond irresponsible. She is an accessory to mass murder. And Fox News, who just signed her to a new, multiyear contract extension, is no less culpable. They are spreading what PolitiFact just designated as the 2020 Lie of the Year.” And they are doing it all in conjunction with Trump’s campaign to downplay the pandemic’s tragic consequences in order to absolve himself of the guilt he deserves for his negligence, incompetence, and deliberate malfeasance.

PolitiFact Lie of the Year: Trump Wins an Unprecedented 4 Years Running

The announcement of PolitiFact’s “Lie of the Year” for 2020 was bound to be somewhat anticlimactic. After all, Donald Trump has already been documented to have told more than 25,000 lies since his inauguration. That’s an average of 50 lies per day. And that isn’t even counting his lies since the election on November 3rd. With a catalog that enormous the odds have been with Trump all along.

Be sure to visit and follow News Corpse on Instagram.

Trump Lies

It doesn’t hurt either that Trump is the defending champ with the three previous Lies of the Year under his prodigious belt. Trump has been “honored” for disgorging “fake news,” for his collective campaign misstatements, for his repeated denials of Russia’s election interference, and for his false assertions that “the whistleblower got my phone conversation with Ukraine all wrong.”

Now the 2020 Lie of the Year went to Coronavirus Disinformation.” While that’s a catch-all designation, it’s clear that Trump and his deliberate falsehoods on the subject dominate the category. And PolitFact makes that clear in their article and accompanying video (see below):

“President Donald J. Trump fueled confusion and conspiracies from the earliest days of the coronavirus pandemic. He embraced theories that COVID-19 accounted for only a small fraction of the thousands upon thousands of deaths. He undermined public health guidance for wearing masks and cast Dr. Anthony Fauci as an unreliable flip-flopper.”

“But the infodemic was not the work of a single person. […] Influential TV and radio opinion hosts told millions of viewers that social distancing was a joke and that states had all of the personal protective equipment they needed (when they didn’t). It was a symphony of counter narrative, and Trump was the conductor, if not the composer. The message: The threat to your health was overhyped to hurt the political fortunes of the president.”

It’s notable that where PolitiFact stipulated that “the infodemic was not the work of a single person,” they illustrated that point with two examples from Fox News. So we could give Fox an honorary mention as an accessory to Trump’s prevaricating victory.

For good measure, Trump is also the leading contender for PolitiFact’s readers poll. The proposed lies in this poll are 1) Coronavirus downplay and denial, 2) False claims that the 2020 election was rigged and that Trump won re-election, and 3) False claims that celebrities and politicians are child molesters (QAnon). Readers could also write in their own preferred lies. But each of these strongly suggest fabrications by the Fibber-in-Chief who is the primary disseminator of these blatant untruths.

That’s why it’s futile for anyone to attempt to unseat Trump as the annual Lie of the Year winner. It’s what he has worked for – and excelled in – his whole life. That said, next year there may be a new champ with Trump in civilian life, and hopefully in prison.

HUH? Trump Chump Stephen Miller Tells Fox News He’s Forming a Slate of ‘Alternative Electors’

Donald Trump exhausted his last best hope to steal the election last week. The Supreme Court, that he thought he had stacked with servile flunkies, unanimously ruled against his lawsuit aiming to throw out millions of votes from states that Joe Biden had won decisively. That was after having already lost more than fifty court cases. And yet, Trump still whines that he was “never even given our day in court.”

Be sure to visit and follow News Corpse on Instagram.

Donald Trump, Constitution

Of course, Trump was given fifty days in court, where he failed to produce any evidence to support his election fraud claims. It’s been clear all along that the only court that Trump cared about was the court of public opinion where he could lie without the risk of committing perjury.

Continuing that campaign of disinformation, Trump got up early Monday morning to dispatch his Propaganda Advance Team. Their Senior White Nationalist Advisor, Stephen Miller, appeared on Fox News to deliver the administration’s sermon on anti-democratic election theft. And Miller’s presentation to the “Curvy Couch” potatoes of Fox and Friends was every thing you would expect:

“The only date in the Constitution is January 20, so we have more than enough time to right the wrong of this fraudulent election and certify Donald Trump as the winner of the election. As we speak, an alternate slate of electors in the contested states is going to vote and we are going to send those results to Congress. This will insure that all of our legal remedies remain open. That means that if we win these cases in the courts, that we can direct the alternate slate of electors to be certified.”

Miller asserted that upon completion of their ludicrous machinations “Donald Trump is the winner of this election.” He further claimed that he had “hundreds of violations that we’re documented.” He did not, however, explain why none of those allegedly documented violations were presented in court despite fifty opportunities to do so.

For regular observers of Trump’s Circus of Deceit, Miller’s buzzwords may sound familiar. His “alternative electors” must come from the same warped imagination as Kellyanne Conway’s “alternative facts.” And his distortion of the Constitution’s provisions for a democratic transfer of power ignore the laws associated with certifying the electoral votes (by December 8), the official casting of votes by the electoral college (on December 14), and Congress formalizing the outcome on January 6. January 20 is the day that the already certified president-elect is inaugurated and sworn in to office.

Miller’s contention that his alternate slate of electors can be sent to Congress and certified as legitimate is a fantasy that does not exist anywhere in the law. He is merely perpetuating the fraud that Trump has been blathering about for more than a month in his attempt to delude his dimwitted cult disciples – and probably himself – into believing that he still has a chance of serving another four years in the White House. He doesn’t!

More troubling is his flagrant lies that have the potential to incite violent responses to what Trump characterizes as an election that was “RIGGED,” and a presidency that was “STOLEN.” In fact, that’s precisely the response he’s seeking with inflammatory language that is an explicit call to “escalate dramatically” the opposition to American democratic principles.

The Victim-In-Chief? Fox News ‘Feels for’ Trump’s ‘Pain and Frustration’

Poor, poor Donald Trump. He’s the President of the United States of America, but apparently is as weak and impotent as a barnyard hog in a coma. He puts on airs of being a dominant alpha male, but whines like a colicky infant whenever he doesn’t get his way. He literally bragged that he is the most fabulous whiner.” It’s a pitiful situation wherein this co-called “leader” needs to get sympathy from talking headcases on television.

Donald Trump

That’s what happened on Sunday morning as Fox News became the provider of consolation for our despondent wannabe despot. The “Curvy Couch” potatoes of Fox and Friends were so emotionally moved by the plight of Trump’s decisive electoral defeat that they found it necessary to relieve themselves of the inner aching they felt for the Commander-in-Grief. It went something like this (video below):

Rachel Campos-Duffy: I just feel for the President. I see the pain and the frustration. You do everything you’re supposed to do. You run the country well. You campaign your heart out, while the other guy’s in a basement. Then in the end, fraud and shenanigans at the local level, you’re robbed. We’ve all been robbed because when the elections don’t go well, when there’s fraud, when there’s these kinds of shenanigans, we all lose.
Pete Hegseth: Yeah. Frustrated, but remains undeterred. He called it rigged, a sham, a shame, a couple of times. He said ‘I worry about the country having an illegitimate president.’ And if 77% of Republicans and Trump supporters believe the election was stolen, where do you go from there?

Oh, the sorrow of this pitiful, unfortunate, Leader of the Free World. Never mind that Campos-Duffy’s characterization of Trump as having “done everything,” and “run the country well,” wasn’t shared by a majority of the American people. And set aside that Joe Biden’s campaign, for whatever flaws you might assign to it, was victorious. And don’t bother trying to justify the claims of “fraud and shenanigans” because there simply isn’t any evidence of it (Trump’s legal team lost in court 59 times so far for that very reason). These bootlicking sycophants still regard Trump – and America – as having been robbed.

In addition to the flood of empathy pouring out of these sensitive Fox Newsers, Trump himself is tormented by his tragic circumstance. He poured out to Fox’s Brian Kilmeade in yet another suck up “interview” on the network that Trump loves to hate and that some are now accusing of being complicit in the “Deep State” conspiracy to destroy Trump. He whined that…

“No judge has had the courage – including the Supreme Court – I am so disappointed in them. No judge has had the courage – including the Supreme Court of the United States has had the courage to allow it to be heard. The Supreme Court, all they did was say we don’t have standing. So they’re saying, essentially, the President of the United States, and Texas, and these other states, great states, they don’t have standing. They didn’t go into the evidence. If you would look at the evidence – thousands of pages of evidence – we have over a thousand affidavits from people that saw tens of thousands of ballots. But here’s the point: They’re winning these things on little technicalities, like a thing called standing. They’re saying the President of the United States does not have standing.”

Actually, many courts have heard Trump’s case, but then dismissed it because it was lacking in evidence and legal reasoning. And “standing” is not a “little technicality.” It is core principle of the law that requires a plaintiff to establish damage and/or loss. That means that, not only is the evidence considered, but also the claim that what the evidence shows produced tangible harm. Not a single court had found any of that.

What’s more, Trump seems to think that he should have standing just because he’s the President. That’s another example of his laughably poor grasp of elementary legal concepts. Plus, you have to wonder why Trump failed to produce any of the evidence he is crowing about in a courtroom. Most likely because it has no validity and would be tossed out, even by the Republican-appointed judges who have already ruled against him.

What Trump is demonstrating so plainly is that his facade of manliness is as fake as his invisible healthcare plan or his Mexican financed border wall. And despite his insistence that he is smarter than anyone in the known galaxy, he can’t even prevail over a rag-tag crew of jelly-bellied socialists. He’s having trouble facing the fact that he was outsmarted and beaten decisively by a candidate that he portrayed as “sleepy” and “unfit to serve.” So the question then is: What does that make Trump?
