Trump’s Ego Erupts with Pitch for New TV Network that Airs Only Trump 24/7 – No, REALLY!

If there was one dominant message resounding righteously across America in the wake of the 2022 midterm election, it was that Donald Trump and his MAGA Republicans are a broadly abhorrent political fungus that the nation’s voters were anxious to drench with the disinfectant of democracy.

Trump TV

In an environment wherein the party in the White House historically loses dozens of seats in Congress, Democrats prevailed to retain majority control of the Senate, and may do the same in the House of Representatives before this story is over.

In the aftermath, there is widespread agreement that Trump was the single most influential factor in driving voters away from the parade of deplorable Trump-endorsed clowns who campaigned primarily on undermining democracy and embracing racial, gender, and class hatred. Even many Republicans spent the post-election week blaming Trump and trying to pretend that they weren’t part of his crusade.

For his Part, Trump remains confident (aka delusional) that he is a beloved leader whose efforts on behalf of the phalanx of GOP losers were a smashing success. They weren’t. But that doesn’t seem to be dissuading him from making what he calls a “big announcement” on Tuesday, November 15. The expectation is that he will be declaring his candidacy for president in 2024. But a more prudent course would be for him to improvise and announce a 50% off Black Friday sale for all MAGA merchandise at the Mar-a-Lago gift shop.

Among Trump’s self-congratulatory commentaries was a post on his floundering Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, that may have signaled his true aspirations for the future…

“If CNN were smart, they’d open up a Conservative network, only have me on, and it would be the most successful network in History. Fox only made it because of me, Twitter only made it because of me, and even Facebook is now in the tubes, having lost almost $90 billion in value since I was taken off.”

That’s right, Trump is angling to return to pseudo-reality TV on a new CNN (of all places) network that would feature his repugnant mug all day, every day. This might be a good idea for airing in a hospital poison ward in order to induce vomiting. But other than that it’s a recipe for more of the failure for which Trump is so well known.

What’s more, Trump is peddling the deranged notion that he alone is responsible for the success of Fox News, Twitter, and Facebook. While he’s at it, he might as well claim credit for the popularity of the Internet, the telephone, indoor plumbing, and the wheel.

It’s curious that Trump is bragging about his electoral victories while simultaneously whining about all the defeats. In the past few days he’s posted comments lamenting that “The Democrats are finding all sorts of votes in Nevada and Arizona. What a disgrace that this can be allowed to happen!” And that “They stole the Electron from Blake Masters. Do Election over again!” And that “The USA is a failing Nation!” And that “A NEW ELECTION MUST BE CALLED FOR IMMEDIATELY!” So much … winning?

In the end, Trump is going to get some well deserved credit for falsifying his financial and tax records, for stealing and hoarding highly sensitive national security documents at his Palm Beach hotel/home, and for inciting the deadly insurrection on January 6, 2021. The legacy that Trump leaves behind will be one of mostly convictions of the legal variety, but none of the moral.

Crybaby Trump Lashes Out at ‘Fake News’ for Reporting Accurately that He’s the Biggest Loser

The Republican Party and their mouthpieces in conservative media are licking their wounds as they come to the realization that their promised “red wave” sweeping GOP candidates to victory never rose to more than a trickle. Now they are testing out various lies and distractions to avoid accepting the fact that their agenda and candidates are simply repulsive.

Donald Trump

Nowhere is that desperation to deceive themselves and their disciples more apparent than in the reaction by former reality TV game show host, Donald Trump. In the immediate aftermath of the 2022 midterm election, Trump bragged about the nonexistent Republican victory and how successful he was with his endorsements. Of course, neither of those things even remotely resembled reality. So he quickly backpedaled to grasp onto his old faithful excuse for everything: the radical, communist, fake news media.

RELATED: Trump’s Truthless Temper Tantrum Over the Midterm Election Results is Just So Trumpy

Trump spent much of the morning on Thursday posting frantic comments on his floundering social media scam, Truth Social, in a futile attempt to assuage his depression. As usual, he displayed signs of a severe separation from reality and a grossly malignant brand of narcissism. He began by writing that…

“There is a Fake Story being promulgated by third rate reporter Maggie Hagaman of the Failing New York Times, that I am blaming our great former First Lady, Melania, and Sean Hannity, that I was angry with their pushing me to Endorse Dr. Oz […] I was not at all ANGRY. Fake News!”

Sure. Trump was “not at all angry” that so many of his hand-picked sycophants went down to humiliating defeats. That’s why he deliberately misspelled the name of his favorite New York Times reporter, Maggie Haberman to insult her as a “hag” (a change from his prior nickname, “Maggot”). He also calls her a “third rate reporter” despite having granted her many interviews. He is probably still hurt by Haberman’s recent book, “Confidence Man: The Making of Donald Trump and the Breaking of America.”

Trump also tried feebly to distance himself from failed Senate candidate, Mehmet Oz, saying that “he was not a ‘denier’ (his mistake!)'” Yeah, that was the problem. Then Trump went on to write that…

“I’d like to apologize to Melania and Sean Hannity for all of the Fake News […] The Fake News Media is ‘Crazed’ and totally out of control […] They MAKE UP stories and then push them down your throats. Our Country is in big trouble!”

Right. Because Melania and Hannity are the victims in all of this, poor things. And Trump once again complains that reporters had no sources for their stories. What Trump is really upset about is that so many of his insiders are willing to become confidential sources in order to tell the truth about him. And then he continued…

“Despite having picked so many winners, I have to put up with the Fake News. For me, Fox News was always gone […] but now they’re really gone. Such an opportunity for another media outlet to make an absolute fortune.”

For the record, most of the “winners” Trump picked were Republicans in safe districts who were expected to win. But in most of the races that were competitive, his candidate lost or squeaked by. And it’s cute that Trump is bashing Fox News here, so soon after apologizing to Sean Hannity. He just can’t figure out who he hates from one moment to the next. But Trump still wasn’t done whining…

“For those many people that are being fed the fake narrative from the corrupt media that I am Angry about the Midterms, don’t believe it. I am not at all angry […] Remember, I am a ‘Stable Genius.'”

If Trump is really not angry, that would just indicate an even greater measure of cognitive collapse. A normal human would be angry after an electoral smackdown like the one he just suffered. But apparently, being a “stable genius” immunizes one from human emotions.

Although, Trump does have some justification for being mad at the press. There were numerous post-election articles published that appropriately assigned the blame to Trump for the GOP meltdown. The problem for Trump is that many of them were by staunchly conservative outlets. Media Matters compiled some examples that include…

FoxNews.com: “Conservatives point finger at Trump after GOP’s underwhelming election results: ‘He’s never been weaker.’”

Daily Wire: “Donald Trump certainly is not the leader of the Republican Party. … His priority is not the Republican Party.”

Wall Street Journal: “Trump is the Republican party’s biggest loser.”

NY Post: “Here’s how Donald Trump sabotaged the Republican midterms.”

National Review: “Trump is the Republican establishment now. He’s the default, the Man, the swamp. And he’s a loser.”

There are many more such articles, as well as commentaries by right-wingers disenchanted with Trump and his destructive, divisive, deceitful, and delusional diatribes. And these are the views of his friends. No wonder he’s going berserk … er … more berserk.

Trump’s Truthless Temper Tantrum Over the Midterm Election Results is Just So Trumpy

As the 2022 midterm election morning dawned, Donald Trump could be found up bright and early yammering about election fraud that didn’t exist. His accusations were especially bizarre since they were aimed at the Republicans who were running the Arizona election. So he thinks that Arizona’s GOP officials were committing fraud in order to help … Democrats?

Donald Trump Circling the Drain

Later that evening, Trump changed gears to try to take credit for Republican successes in the election results. Despite the utter evaporation of anything resembling a “red wave,” he posted a comment on his floundering social media scam, Truth social, that boasted about an electoral triumph that existed only in his warped imagination. He wrote

“174 wins and 9 losses, A GREAT EVENING, and the Fake News Media, together with their partner in crime family, the Democrats, are doing everything possible to play it down. Amazing job by some really fantastic candidates!”

So let’s add a little reality to Trump’s feeble fantasies and media bashing. First of all, Trump actually endorsed more than 300 candidates. So he’s cherry picking what he wants to include in his post-election analysis. What’s more, the vast majority of his endorsements were for candidates in safe Republican seats who were expected to win. We can’t know which nine losses he’s referring to in his post because he doesn’t identify them. However, he had at least 22 to choose from in this, still incomplete, list of actual losers…

Gubernatorial candidates: Lee Zeldin (New York), Doug Mastriano (Pennsylvania) Geoff Diehl (Massachusetts), Dan Cox (Maryland), Tudor Dixon (Michigan), Tim Michels (Wisconsin), Darren Bailey (Illinois), and Mark Ronchetti (New Mexico), Kari Lake (Arizona).

Senate candidates: Mehmet Oz (Pennsylvania), Blake Masters (Arizona), Adam Laxalt (Nevada), Don Bolduc (New Hampshire), Joe O’Dea (Colorado), Leora Levy (Connecticut), Kelly Tshibaka (Alaska), Herschel Walker (Georgia).

House candidates: J.R. Majewski (Ohio), Karoline Leavitt (New Hampshire), Yesli Vega (Virginia), Ken Calvert (California), Bo Hines ( North Carolina’), Steve Chabot (Ohio), Jim Bognet (Pennsylvania), Gesiotto Gilbert (Ohio), Robert Burns (New Hampshire), John Gibbs (Michigan)

That’s 22 losers, with many races still uncalled, including such significant potential GOP defeats as Herschel Walker (Georgia), Blake Masters (Arizona), Kari Lake (Arizona), Kelly Tshibaka (Alaska), Adam Laxalt (Nevada) and Ron Johnson (Wisconsin). [UPDATE: Blake Masters, Kari Lake, Adam Laxalt, Kelly Tshibaka, and Herschel Walker lost and were added to the lists above]

Perhaps the race that will hurt Trump the most is the one for New York Attorney General, where his arch nemesis, Letitia James, won reelection. Trump has been bad-mouthing her for months, accusing her of being corrupt, biased, and racist (she’s Black), and calling her “Peekaboo” for reasons no one knows. He’s actually racked with fear due to the $250 million civil suit James filed alleging business fraud that could wind up shutting down his Trump Organization and prohibiting his crime from doing business in the state.

RELATED: Trump Files Another Lame Lawsuit Against the New York Attorney General Who He Hates and Fears

To be sure, there were disappointments for Democrats. But considering that historically the party in power during the midterms suffers an average congressional loss of about 22 seats, Democrats should be pretty satisfied that they held their losses to single digits. They likely retained their Senate majority and may have done the same in the House.

If Trump thinks that these results suggest a positive environment for him to run for president again in 2024, he’s more deranged than previously thought. So it will be interesting to see what his “big announcement” is going to be on November 15. If he does announce his candidacy, his GOP confederates may be less than enthused after seeing his fabled king-making prowess fail so spectacularly. Although Trump will remain blissfully enamored with himself and his divine infallibility.

When Trump was asked in a NewsNation interview about the election outcome to say “How much of that will be because of Donald Trump,” he replied that “I think if they win, I should get all the credit. If they lose, I should not be blamed at all.” That’s consistent with his refusal to take responsibility for everything from COVID-19 deaths, to the deadly insurrection at the Capitol, to his theft of highly sensitive national security documents from the White House, and more. Trump will always find someone else to blame.

That said, Trump did post something on election night that was unarguably true, even if he didn’t know it. He wrote that the “Same thing is happening with Voter Fraud as happened in 2020???” Indeed. There was nothing significant that happened with voter fraud in 2020, and the same is true for 2022.

Another similarity between the two election cycles is that Trump proved to be an impotent force in politics and a pathetic loser who will shift blame to others rather than take any responsibility. No matter how dishonest or hurtful. And naturally one of his most predictable targets is last night’s big winner, Nancy Pelosi…

Trump Calls Pelosi an ‘Animal’ – Dehumanizing Her to Incite More Assaults Against Democrats

Finally! It’s Election Day. Not that Republicans care. They are still insisting that the whole process is rigged and that the results can’t be trusted. They are already laying the groundwork to dispute any race that is won by a Democrat.

Donald Trump, Nancy Pelosi

On the eve of Election Day, Donald Trump was campaigning in Ohio for GOP Senate candidate, J.D. Vance. Well, supposedly. As usual Trump spent very little time promoting the candidate he was there to support, instead talking incessantly about himself and his tediously repetitive complaints going back to his decisive loss in 2020, and even earlier.

RELATED: Rep. Clyburn Tells Fox News Viewers All About How Trump and MAGA Resemble Germany in the 1930’s

That fixation on his past included a segment wherein he moaned pitifully about having been impeached twice. But it wasn’t enough to just excrete his standard lies and outrage at being held to account for his wrongdoings. On this occasion Trump felt compelled to foment more of the violence that has become such a hallmark of his political aspirations. And his wrath was aimed squarely at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who was recently the target of one of Trump’s cult followers who severely assaulted her husband in her home. Trump raged that…

“Pelosi said ‘please don’t call [gang members] animals, they’re human beings.’ I said ‘No, they’re animals.’ I think she’s an animal, too, if you want to know the truth.

“They [pointing at the media] say, ‘Oh, what a horrible thing he said about Nancy.’ She impeached me twice for nothing! Nothing! They’ll say, these people, the fakers back there, ‘What a horrible thing. He called Nancy Pelosi an animal.’ Let me tell you, what she does to this country, and what she did, and the turmoil, and it was all…”

At that point Trump rambled on about not using the word “bullsh-t,” while he was, in fact, using it. And he yammered incoherently about some allegedly awful things that Pelosi had done, but that he couldn’t actually describe. That was followed by some more of his delusional bragging that he was the greatest president in history.

First of all, Trump was not impeached twice for nothing. The first impeachment was due to his having extorted the president of Ukraine in order to coerce him into digging up dirt on then-candidate, Joe Biden. The second impeachment was due to his having incited a violent insurrection in order to unlawfully cling to power by obstructing Congress from completing their duty to certify the electoral vote count. Both impeachments provided abundant evidence of Trump’s treasonous ambitions to become America’s first Fuhrer.

However, more troubling than that were Trump’s remarks about Pelosi. By calling her an animal he was deliberately dehumanizing her. It’s a tactic he likely learned from his fascist heroes who used it to justify the Holocaust and other acts of genocide. Trump is blatantly recruiting members of his cult to attack his political opponents. And by exploiting Pelosi so soon after she was the victim of a vicious assassination attempt that put her husband in the hospital, Trump is proving that he is utterly devoid of morality.

For her part, Pelosi addressed the violent tendencies on the part of the Trump Republican Party in an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper on Monday. She noted that “there is one party that is doubting the outcome of the election, feeding that flame and mocking in the violence that happens. That has to stop.” Pelosi elaborated in the following exchange…

Cooper: The former President of the United States Donald Trump, Elon Musk, others have spread stories casting doubt on what happened, fomenting conspiracy theories. What do you have to say to them?
Pelosi: It’s really sad for the country. It’s really sad for the country that people of that high visibility would separate themselves from the facts and the truth in such a blatant way. It’s really sad, and it is traumatizing to those affected by it. They don’t care about that, obviously, but it’s destructive to the unity that we want to have in our country. But I don’t have anything to say to them. I mean, we have nothing, there would be no common ground to have any conversation with them.

Indeed. You cannot have common ground with those who openly advocate violence. And what Pelosi is talking about in this clip is still going on while people are voting today. Republicans have no intention of cooling their rhetoric or respecting the law or American principles. Just this weekend Ronna McDaniel, the chair of the Republican National Committee, couldn’t say that the GOP supports democracy. That’s where we are at on this Election Day.

Fox News Host is SHOCKED that Oprah Endorsed Fetterman Over Oz for Pennsylvania Senate

The end of the midterm misery is finally upon us as Election Day arrives tomorrow. Many of the races remain uncomfortably close despite the wretched rabble running under the Republican banner. The GOP has gone all in on election deniers and culture warriors, and apparently they have some support among the right-wing riffraff.

Fox News, Maria Bartiromo, Donald Trump

The candidates on both sides are now making their closing arguments. For the Republicans that means booking some more spots on Fox News. On Monday morning Mehmet Oz visited with Fox’s Senior Trump-Fluffer, Maria Bartiromo. The slushball interview began with Bartiromo expressing her astonishment that Oprah Winfrey has a mind of her and dares to use it…

Bartiromo: Dr. Oz, I want to get your reaction to what happened with Oprah Winfrey. I was totally struck that she is wading into Pennsylvania. She lives in Chicago, right? So why is she endorsing John Fetterman in Pennsylvania when she doesn’t even live in Pennsylvania?
Oz: I love Oprah, but we have different politics. In Pennsylvania we appreciate that people are allowed to think different things because it’s a purple state. My neighbors have Fetterman signs. But people talk to each other, they work things out. That’s why leaders from Pennsylvania often bring a bipartisan approach in Washington. They move past all the small stuff and they deal with the big crises we face.

Seriously? Bartiromo seems to have just discovered that Americans are allowed to offer their opinions on important political matters from wherever they happen to live. Although, Bartiromo never complained that Florida resident, Donald Trump, endorsed and campaigned Oz. She herself is openly supporting Oz, even though she lives in {GASP} New York City. And she never said a word when Oz was endorsed by her Fox comrade Sean Hannity, or Ted Nugent, Kimberly Guilfoyle, J.D Vance, Rick Perry, Nikki Haley, Tim Scott, or any other of the non-Pennsylvanians in his camp.

But Oprah? For Bartiromo that crossed a line. Probably because she knows that Oprah is beloved and influential, and knows Oz well enough to recognize that he would be a terrible senator.

For his part, Oz answered the question without actually addressing it in any detail. He said they merely disagree politically. Which is, of course, precisely why she endorsed Fetterman. And it’s why informed voters will reject Oz as well. His phony remarks about bipartisanship aren’t going to fool anyone either. Throughout his entire campaign he has been a loyal sycophant to Trump, who regards all Democrats as “radical left communists.”

It is also notable that Oz volunteered that his own neighbors have Fetterman signs. He didn’t say whether they are neighbors in Pennsylvania or New Jersey, where he actually lives. But it’s another indication that the people who know him best would not vote for him. And with that Oz showed that he can’t even make an interview on Fox News a positive contribution to his campaign.

GOP Chair Ronna McDaniel Can’t Give a Straight Answer on Whether Republicans Support Democracy

The midterm elections this year have been accurately described as among the most important in generations. President Biden is among those who have noted that “an overwhelming majority of Americans believe our democracy is at risk … that democracy is on the ballot.”

Click here to Tweet this article

Donald Trump, Republican, GOP

The Republican Party, however, is adamant that elections are riddled with fraud, despite having no evidence whatsoever to support that claim. They are simply determined to deny the legitimacy of any election that they lose. And they will concoct whatever crackpot conspiracy they need to in order to peddle their lies to their cult followers. That strategy is one that emanates from the top, as Donald Trump remains the chief promulgator of the “Big Lie.”

FOR INSTANCE: Trump Makes Scary, Math-Challenged Claim to Explain Biden’s 7 Million Vote Margin of Victory

On CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday morning, host Dana Bash interviewed the Chair of the Republican National Committee, Ronna McDaniel. During the segment Bash played a video clip of Wisconsin’s GOP Sen. Ron Johnson being asked if he would accept the election results if he loses. Johnson refused to state flatly that he would do so, instead implying – without any basis whatsoever – that Democrats were planning to engage in some sort of fraudulent activity. Which led to the following exchange between Bash and McDaniel (video below)

Bash: Simple yes or no. Should Republican candidates, Ron Johnson – all of them – accept election results?
McDaniel: Well, I would say the same to Stacy Abrams, right? Or Hillary Clinton who’s already saying in 2024 we’re gonna rig the elections. That’s not helpful. Listen, you should have a recount, you should have a canvas, and then go to the courts, and then everybody should accept the results. That’s what it should be.”

WHUT? Stacy Abrams and Hillary Clinton both accepted the results of their respective election losses. They may have also spoken about incidents that had documented impacts on the results, such as gerrymandering and voter suppression tactics, but they never sought to decertify the elections or engaged in unlawful – and even violent – measures to overturn them, as Republicans have done. And anything Clinton said about “rigging” the 2024 election was nothing more than quoting what Republicans have promised to do themselves.

What’s more, McDaniel’s suggestion that “everybody should accept the results” after a recount, a canvas, and court judgments, is wholly dishonest. All of those things took place after the 2020 election many times. And in every case the results were affirmed as fair and accurate. Even Trump’s own administration officials praised the election as “the most secure in American history.”

SEE: Tucker Carlson Hysterically Hypes Bogus Election ‘Fraud’ Film By Convicted Election Fraudster

However, none of that has stopped Trump and his GOP confederates, including Fox News, from persisting with their election denialism. McDaniel went on to say that…

“I’m also not gonna say that if there’s problems, that we shouldn’t be able to address that. If there’s real problems everyone should be able to address that. […] I’ll give you an example. In Virginia they wouldn’t let people vote if you weren’t wearing a mask. That’s not the state statute. So there were people actually being denied voting because they didn’t have a mask on.”

Of course anyone should be able to address a real problem. Unfortunately for McDaniel and the GOP, they haven’t been able to locate a single “real” problem yet, after two years and more than sixty court cases.

The example McDaniel gives in her reply is actually an example of the GOP’s dishonesty. There was never a prohibition of people from voting in Virginia for not wearing a mask, and not a single person was denied a vote. Masks were encouraged, but not mandatory Remember, the coronavirus pandemic was killing thousands of people a day in November of 2020. As reported at the time by the Virginia Mercury…

“Virginia voters who show up on Election Day without a mask or visibly sick will be asked to put a mask on or cast their ballot outside the polling place, but they won’t be denied access if they refuse, according to state election officials.”

The crusade to undermine the faith of the American people in democracy is proceeding at a rapid pace. That’s because Republicans have a fundamental aversion to the concept of government by the people. It’s what drives their campaigns to suppress voting, to grant corporations the rights of persons, and to refuse to accept any outcome that isn’t in their favor.

All of that is what makes this election so critical to the future of democracy in America. So it is imperative that we all vote and persuade as many other democracy-loving patriots to vote as well. This isn’t a drill.

Hillary Clinton Was Right: Fox News Hack Peter Doocy Reanimates the Old ‘Deplorables’ Smear

Everything old is new again. Particularly on Fox News where each election cycle sees reprisals of their classic Democratic tropes: Migrant caravans, War On Christmas, rampant crime, white replacement, etc. ad nauseum.

Click here to Tweet this article

Fox News, Hillary Clinton

On Fox News Tuesday night their White House correspondent, Peter Doocy, trotted out a stale attack line from 2016 that Fox used extensively to malign Hillary Clinton. Doocy referenced Clinton’s remarks about “deplorables” that she made when running against Donald Trump. Doocy’s excuse for bringing it up was a severely shortened clip of Clinton being interviewed Tuesday by Joy Reid on MSNBC. Naturally, Doocy misrepresented what Clinton said on both occasions:

Doocy: Hillary Clinton is doing the TV rounds for Democratic candidates as well. And in an interview now she is suggesting that she thinks that the only people that are voting Republican this cycle are ones that are not smart enough to understand the issues.
Clinton: I’m not sure they really understand the threats to their way of life.
Doocy: That is in line for the costly comments she made in 2016 when she referred to people moved to back Donald Trump as quote “a basket of deplorables.”

First of all, Clinton never said anything about Republican voters not being “smart” enough. She a made perfectly reasonable observation that some of them might not fully understand what is at stake in this midterm election. That includes the stated Republican agenda of criminalizing reproductive choice, gutting Social Security, suppressing the vote, and sabotaging the economy.

RELATED: The GOP’s Not-So-Secret Plot to Sabotage the Economy if They Gain Control of Congress

In order to make his point, Doocy had to slice a single sentence from Clinton’s interview that he could purposefully distort. Here is what Doocy and Fox News left out…

“They may think that whoever is chairing a committee is kind of abstract. But Republicans in the House and others, like the chair of the Republican Senate Campaign Committee (Rick Scott), are on record saying that they are going to put Social Security and Medicare up for a vote.”

RELATED: Rick Scott is the Best Chair of the National Republican Senatorial Committee the Democrats Ever Had

Clinton went on to say that she doesn’t understand why Americans “are not up in arms” about the “reckless behavior” that the GOP has promised to take, adding that…

“Sometimes when I tell people that, they say ‘Oh, they would never do that.’ Well, they told us for fifty years that they were going to get rid of Roe v Wade and turn abortion over to the states where state legislators and local political officials can decide what your healthcare would be. Why wouldn’t you believe them that they are going to go after Social Security and Medicare? I believe them. I take them at their word.”

Clinton may be overstating her inclination take to take Republicans at their word. She is unarguably right in this context. However, the GOP is a notoriously dishonest party who lie relentlessly about their record and about Democrats.

The subject of “deplorables” is a perfect example of Republican lying. Clinton never tagged all GOP voters with that label. She was referring only to the most extreme Trumpists. In fact, she explicitly narrowed her remarks saying that “you can put half of Trump supporters into what I call the ‘basket of deplorables.’” But Doocy is, once again, distorting what Clinton actually said. Maybe he should pay more attention to the manifestly deplorable things that Republicans are saying, and that Clinton got 100% right.

Trump Makes Scary, Math-Challenged Claim to Explain Biden’s 7 Million Vote Margin of Victory

For nearly two years now, Donald Trump has been peddling his dangerous and preposterous allegations that the 2020 presidential election was “rigged” and “stolen” from him. Now, just in time for Halloween, Trump is proposing a new and frightening horror story for how President Biden and the Democrats stole the election.

Donald Trump, Walking Dead Voters

Throughout the past two years Trump has been utterly incapable of providing a shred of evidence to support his claims of voter fraud. Even though he and his minions have pushed their conspiracy theories in over 60 court cases that they lost. They have produced and promoted (with the help of Fox News) pathetic and easily debunked crocumentaries that failed to expose any fraud whatsoever. They have promised to present their proof dozens of times, with each promise going unfulfilled. They seem to have an obsessive need to humiliate themselves with their persistent, but fruitless, crusade.

RELATED: In Jesus’ Name: Messiah Trump Promises Election Fraud ‘Truth’ is Coming Out – In Two Weeks?

The latest episode of Trump’s election fraud fallacies took place on Tuesday when he joined Dinesh D’Souza (himself a convicted election fraudster who Trump pardoned) for yet another discussion of Trump’s election disinformation. And Trump didn’t hold back the crazy as he sought to advance his “Big Lie” to new heights of absurdity…

“And then, of course they voted 6, 7, 8 times, as much as they could in the local areas. Some of the people went back, I guess, they said 28 times in one day to vote at different places with numerous votes. but they can’t put in 1,000 because it wouldn’t look right. They’re very smart. They go in with 5 votes, 6 votes, 7 votes, and then they go to another one. But it adds up to millions of votes.”

Of course it does. Trump has obviously given this a great deal of thought and is convinced of the accuracy of his claim. So let’s break it down.

Biden won in 2020 with seven million votes more than Trump. For him to have amassed that many more votes by deploying an army of voting criminals submitting as many as eight phony ballots each, the Biden conspiracy would have had to recruit 875,000 people willing to risk going to prison in order to rig the election.

Where would those people come from? How would they have been recruited and trained? And how would all of that been done without a single person spilling the beans, or a single slip up exposing the whole scheme?

Even if we use Trump’s highest number of ballot cheats (28), it would have taken 250,000 of them to hit the seven million mark. It would have been the biggest mobilization of criminals in history. If Biden could have planned and pulled this off, he deserves to have won. And remember, this is someone that the Trump camp says is senile and totally incompetent.

What’s more, all of these millions of votes would have had to have been cast in someone’s name. They couldn’t just be duplicates because those would not have counted. So apparently Trump believes that there were seven million phantom voters with valid registrations whose ballots could be hijacked. Perhaps they’re all zombies.

With the 2022 midterm election now less than two weeks away, Biden should reassemble his voter fraud army and deploy them to win supermajorities in the House and Senate, as well as in state houses and other local offices. There wouldn’t be a darn thing that Trump and his Republican losers could do about it.

But don’t be too scared. If Democrats prevail in the midterms, Trump will surely claim that that’s exactly what happened. And still with no evidence whatsoever. Since the GOP has abandoned any attempt to shape a party platform (other than gutting Social Security and Medicare, giving the government control over reproductive choice, and cutting taxes for corporations and the wealthy), they have plenty of time to contrive these crackpot conspiracies. What’s really scary is that with all that extra time, you’d think they would be better at it.

Grifter Trump Splits Joint Fundraising Donations 99% to Trump, 1% to His Candidate/Sucker

Anyone who has followed the career of Donald Trump knows that his modus operandi is to grab every cent of any money generated for himself and leave his swindled partners crumpled in a ditch. That has been even more true since Trump entered politics.

Trump Baby on Cash Pile

A recent fundraising email sent out by Trump’s superPAC, Save America, displayed the unique arrangement that Trump has with his political associates. The email was a joint fundraising effort with Arizona Republican Senate candidate, Blake Masters. And a closer look at how the funds would be divided between Trump and Masters reveals just how deeply corrupt Trump is, even when working with his friends.

That’s right. For a $5.00 donation Trump is taking $4.95 for himself and leaving a nickel for Masters. That should go a long way toward helping Masters defeat his opponent, Democrat Mark Kelly, who is presently leading his every poll.

Not that Trump cares. Like all con artists, the only thing Trump cares about is enriching himself. And he is dedicated to that mission above all else. Trump is still hoarding about $100 million dollars in his Save America PAC that he claimed would be used to finance GOP candidates around the country. However, the only notable spending from that has been on his own personal attorneys fees. And his fundraising of late has slowed to a pittance.

The only thing that Donald Trump has demonstrated any proficiency with in his political career is fleecing his flock of glassy-eyed disciples. From his scam charities to his political grifting operations, Trump has managed in the past to fill his pockets with money taken from his gullible supporters. And now he is demonstrating that even his political allies are not immune from being his victims.

Sean Hannity is Gifting Millions of Dollars of Free Air Time to Republican Candidates

The United States is about two weeks away from one of the most consequential elections in decades. Many of the races are tightening up as Democrats and Republicans make their closing arguments for support. And casting its dark shadow over the whole political season is Donald Trump and his extremist MAGA movement aimed at extinguishing America’s experiment in government of, by, and for the people.

Fox News Sean Hannity

The majority control of both houses of Congress is at stake, with Republicans literally promising to sabotage the U.S. and world economies if Democrats don’t succumb to GOP demands. Those demands include gutting Social Security and Medicare, criminalizing abortion, befouling the environment, giving more tax cuts to corporations and the wealthy, and installing anti-democratic election deniers in positions where they can dispense with democracy entirely.

Fox News is playing its customary role in the crippling of self-government. While Democrats have to raise campaign funds in order to pay for political advertising, Republicans are benefitting from the largesse of Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch’s ultra-rightist Ministry of Propaganda, aka Fox News.

The network as a whole is promoting Republicans candidates for local and state offices throughout the country. But no one is doing it with the unabashed political biases of Sean Hannity. His program has already hosted hour-long GOP campaign broadcasts with Mehmet Oz and Herschel Walker. He has scheduled another with Kari Lake and Blake Masters. And now he is teasing one with Marco Rubio…

Rubio: If you saw that debate, you realize pretty quickly that the media, even the local media, is not going to be helping me with my message. I’m going to have to pay for it.
Hannity: Well, we’ll give a little hint. I will be seeing you in person next week. That’s all I can say. Not allowed to say any more than that.

First of all, what gave Rubio the impression that the media was supposed to be “helping me with my message”? And how can he say with a straight face that he is being forced to pay for disseminating his message, while he is excreting it for free to Hannity’s glassy-eyed audience?

[UPDATE 10/28/2022: Hannity made good on his promise to see Rubio in person by hosting another hour long free campaign ad featuring both Rubio and Ron DeSantis]

Hannity knows that his political favoritism is unethical and utterly inappropriate for any journalist. Fortunately for Hannity, he publicly declared a few years ago (in a deleted tweet that is preserved here) that “I’m not a journalist jackass.” Which raises the question that if he isn’t a “journalist jackass,” then what kind of jackass is he?

The constant stream of Republican propaganda that emanates from Fox News isn’t conventional news reporting. It is actually in-kind contributions by Fox News to the GOP that amounts to millions of dollars of free advertising. The Washington Post has calculated the value of that gift to the GOP…

“This is extremely valuable airtime. Thirty-second spots on Hannity’s show ran more than $76,000 at the higher “issue rate” in the third quarter, according to the Columbus, Ohio-based firm Medium Buying. Candidate rates are lower, often substantially, particularly when you buy more time. If we assume that each 30 seconds costs as little as $50,000 — well beneath what Medium Buying has been cited for candidate spots in the past — the airtime provided by Hannity would have run the candidates north of $2.4 million.”

Other beneficiaries of Hannity’s donations include Sen. Ron Johnson, running for reelection, Senate candidates J.D. Vance and Rep. Ted Budd, and gubernatorial candidate, Tudor Dixon, to name just a few. The Post reports that “In total, Hannity’s spent more than 97 minutes of his last 10 hours of airtime interviewing 18 [GOP] candidates.” And these segments are better than brief campaign ads because they are longer, they are loaded with positive commentary by both the candidate and the host, they insert negative remarks about the Democratic opponents, and there is no opportunity for any rebuttal, even if it was paid for.

For these reasons, Fox News should be regarded as a political action committee and be forced to comply with the laws regulating them. And the candidates should be required to report the value of the donations and to provide disclaimers that reveal that they approved of the ads and who the principle donors are.

But don’t hold your breath waiting for either Fox or these Republicans to behave ethically. They never have before, so why would they start now? Especially when they have Donald Trump praising them for their blatant dishonesty and recommending them for prestigious awards that they never earned?
