Crybaby Trump Bashes Fox News, ‘Perverts’ and ‘RINOS’ Who ‘Didn’t Have the Guts’ to Impeach Him

As the prospects for Donald Trump facing political and legal consequences for his criminal acts continue to heat up, his behavior is becoming ever more volatile and deranged. This past week he saw his former White House trade official, and staunch ally on the “Big Lie” election front, Peter Navarro, in handcuffs and leg irons as he got arrested for contempt of Congress.

Donald Trump, Fox News

Next week the House Committee investigating the January 6th insurrection is holding public hearings that promise to reveal new evidence against Trump and his coup-plotting cronies. So Trump is already ramping up the rabid rhetoric against the truth that he knows is about to come out.

RELATED: Now Trump is Calling the January 6th Insurrection ‘a Hoax…Just Like Russia Russia Russia’

In his determination to pre-but the documents and testimony that the Committee will release, Trump is unleashing a steady stream of vitriol and lies. He’s got his work cut out for him considering that recent polls show that 67% of the public – including 41% of Republicans – say that he “bears some or a lot of responsibility for the violence and destruction committed” during the riots on January 6, 2021.

Making matters worse for Trump, he is now facing additional criticism from fellow Republicans. Former GOP House Speaker Paul Ryan appeared at an event supporting the reelection or Rep. Tom Rice (R-SC). During his remarks Ryan had some thoughts that you know would inflame the fragile ego of Trump. Referring to Rice’s vote in favor of impeaching Trump, Ryan said that…

“There were a lot of people who wanted to vote like Tom but who just didn’t have the guts to do it. There are a lot of people who say they’re going to vote their conscience, they’re going to vote for the Constitution, they’re going to vote for their convictions, but when it gets hard to do that, they don’t do it.”

Rice is currently leading his Trump-endorsed Republican primary opponent, Russell Fry, by double digits. So Trump’s ego is not the only thing at risk in this race. The value of his endorsement is also on line. Particularly after his candidates for governor and secretary of state in Georgia both lost by huge margins. Consequently, Trump barked out this rant on his failing social media site:

“Did anyone notice that Fox News went lame (bad!) when weak RINO Paul Ryan, who is despised in the Great State of Wisconsin for being ‘a pathetic loser,’ went on the Fox Board. They won’t even talk about an obviously Rigged 2020 Presidential Election, not even a mention. That’s why our Country is going to HELL – Elections have consequences. Get Ryan off your Board and report the News as it should be reported…And stop taking negative ads from the perverts, and others!!!”

Trump is the last person who should be calling other people “despised” and “pathetic losers.” He lost the popular vote twice by millions, and he never cracked 50% in approval polling throughout his occupation of the White House, or since.

Furthermore, Trump has been bashing Fox News for a lot longer than Ryan has been a board member. Any time that Fox reported something that was less than worshipful about him, he went off. In any case, no board member has authority over Fox’s programming or editorial content. And Trump certainly has no authority to demand who is, or is not, on the board.

As for Trump’s chronic fixation about the 2020 election, he simply can’t make any public comment without whining about it (he is, after all, in his own words, “the most fabulous whiner“), And it’s cute that he thinks that “our Country is going to HELL” because Fox allegedly won’t report on it. However, the truth is that Fox has not shied away from the issue. The entirety of the Fox roster have been staunchly supportive of the flagrantly fictional assertions of fraud. What Trump is likely referring to is Fox’s reluctance to promote the new crocumentary, “2,000 Mules,” that is filled with ludicrous assumptions and blatant lies. Nevertheless, Fox has indeed mentioned it, and Carlson interviewed the principle filmmakers.

RELATED: Tucker Carlson Hysterically Hypes Bogus Election ‘Fraud’ Film By Convicted Election Fraudster

If Fox has not participated in the sort of rank promotion for a lie-riddled movie that Trump would like, it might be because the network is already being sued for billions of dollars over their election fraud lies. (See the Dominion lawsuit, and the Smartmatic lawsuit).

Finally, Trump’s admonition that “Elections have consequences” is rather bizarre considering that he has refused to honor the 2020 election in which Joe Biden received seven million votes than he did, and a landslide Electoral College victory. It was an election that even Republican election officials said was the most secure in history. And Trump’s opposition to “negative ads from perverts” sounds like his promise not to produce any ads in the future. Not that he can be expected to ever keep a promise.

So It Wasn’t a Hoax After All: Tucker Carlson Admits that Russia Got Trump Elected

For the past five years Donald Trump and his Ministry of Propaganda (aka Fox News) have been whining petulantly about what they refer to as the “Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax.” It has been a well coordinated effort to refute the documented collusion between Trump and Russia to advance his campaign for president in both 2016 and 2020.

Fox News, Tucker Carlson

On Friday the crusade by Fox News to absolve Trump of any liability for colluding with Russia to undermine American democracy hit a snag. Fox’s Senior Trump-fluffer, Tucker Carlson, made a surprising admission during a segment in which he intended to smear President Biden’s record on the economy in general, and gas prices in particular. Carlson embarked on a series of flagrant lies saying that…

“The White House is doing all it can to keep fuel prices high. Biden has just pushed the EU to stop buying Russian oil. It’s payback for getting Trump elected. But the effect is to guarantee higher prices on the international oil market. That means higher prices for you. So this is not an accident. They’re doing it on purpose. This is the “Green New Deal” they couldn’t get through Congress.

First of all, the entire free world has been shunning Russian oil in response to Vladimir Putin’s brutal and unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. That isn’t Biden’s fault. It’s Putin’s. And if Biden has supported that effort to stop funding Russia’s aggression, then he should be commended for taking the principled and moral position.

RELATED: Biden Brilliantly Debunks the Lies By Trump and Fox News About Energy Production in America

More to the point, Carlson’s statement that “It’s payback for getting Trump elected,” is an explicit admission that the so-called “Russia Hoax” was not a hoax after all. Carlson is finally conceding that Russia deliberately interfered in American politics on Trump’s behalf.

Of course, this is something that every well informed American already knew. Trump himself spoke of it during the infamous Helsinki Summit. Even Putin said so when asked “did you direct any of your officials to help” Trump? With Trump standing next him he replied, “Yes, I did.”

What’s more, a bipartisan report from the GOP-led Senate Intelligence Committee found that “The Trump campaign’s interactions with Russian intelligence services during the 2016 presidential election posed a “grave” counterintelligence threat [and] detailed how associates of Donald Trump had regular contact with Russians and expected to benefit from the Kremlin’s help.”

That is, by definition, collusion. And it’s also what the Mueller Report concluded, and was testified to by Robert Mueller before Congress. More details on this were documented in the studiously researched book “Russian Roulette: The Inside Story of Putin’s War on America and the Election of Donald Trump,” by Michael Isikoff and David Corn.

RELATED: Exoneration? Collusion? Obstruction? Trump’s Fate is Sealed By 3 Brief Exchanges with Mueller

As for Carlson’s wholly dishonest assertions regarding the high price of gas, he is unjustifiably blaming Biden for a problem that is occurring worldwide. No president has the ability to control the price of oil. It’s an international commodity. However, if the Biden administration were “doing all it can to keep fuel prices high,” would he have ordered the release of 90 million barrels from the Strategic Oil Reserve? Would he be promoting the expansion of renewable energy (which Carlson also took a shot at in his rant)? Would he have supported the “Consumer Fuel Price Gouging Prevention Act” that just passed in the House of Representatives?

If Carlson is looking for someone to blame for the continuing high gas prices, he might want to take note that every single Republican in the House voted against the bill to stop greedy oil companies, who are currently raking in record profits, from gouging the American people. And it’s also the Republicans who are opposed to alternative fuels.

So the GOP is happy to allow oil companies to exploit struggling Americans. Just as they were happy to allow Trump to collude with Russia. And Tucker Carlson – the perversely infatuated Putin puppet – is likewise happy to cover for them when they do it.

LOL: Fox News Complains that Liberal Media Accurately Reports the News – Liberal Media Replies

If there is one thing that Fox News really hates, it’s actual journalists who dare to report the news accurately. That’s conceptionally foreign to Fox News. An honest presentation of facts about current events exposes how Fox lies so doggedly in pursuit of their ultra-rightist mission.

Fox News Sad

A good example of Fox’s mangling of reality is how they reported the acquittal of Michael Sussmann, a former Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer who was prosecuted – make that persecuted – by special counsel and Bill Barr flunky, John Durham. The not guilty verdict was a major black eye for Durham and his efforts to discredit the legitimate investigations into Donald Trump’s myriad criminal activities and unsavory connections to Russia. After wasting three years and millions of dollars, Durham’s fake scandal factory has succeeded only in humiliating itself.

RELATED: Crybaby Trump FREAKS OUT Over the Durham Nothingburger Resulting in Acquittal of Clinton Lawyer

On Thursday Fox News reacted to the acquittal by compiling a montage of video clips from what they call the “liberal” media, but which in their view is actually all media except for Fox News. They headlined their montage “MSNBC, CNN, ABC and more pan ‘asinine’ Durham probe after Sussmann verdict: ‘A flop’” Which is uncharacteristically accurate.

However, Fox’s intention was to malign the media as being aligned against Durham, and therefore conservatives, simply because there was rational agreement in the reporting of the trial’s outcome. Their story began by saying that “Left-leaning media personalities, reporters and guests of MSNBC, CNN, CBS, ABC and The Washington Post gloated” following the verdict. Ironically, the montage only served to publicize the intelligent analyses of the allegedly liberal press:

Nice work, Fox. Although Fox didn’t bother to rebut a single comment by any of the pundits and legal experts in the video. Perhaps that’s because there is no rebuttal to essentially factual commentaries. The only thing that Fox can do is try to create a false narrative by lying to their audience, and even turning failure into victory. Which is precisely what they did.

RELATED: Bill Barr Tells Fox News that Durham’s Failure to Railroad Clinton Lawyer Was a Victory

For contrast, Media Matters compiled a montage of their own. It contained some of the wholly counterfactual outrage that was unleashed by a variety of Fox News hacks. They struggled to find reasons to dismiss the verdict and to disparage the judge, the jury, and the entirety of the justice system. Because tearing down American institutions is what Fox News was designed to do:

Bill Barr Tells Fox News that Durham’s Failure to Railroad Clinton Lawyer Was a Victory

Fox News is well known as a brazenly partisan and dishonest purveyor of propaganda that exists only to serve the political interests of the Republican Party and that panders to Donald Trump and his cult disciples. It was never intended to be a legitimate “news” enterprise, and in that respect it has lived up to its mission.

William Barr, Donald Trump

Among the skills that Fox News has honed over the years is one that facilitates turning bad news into some ludicrous reimagining of reality that better fits their preordained narratives. And on Wednesday there was a textbook example of their mastery of that method of mangling the news during an episode of Jesse Watters’ program. Watters invited Trump’s former Attorney Genuflect, Bill Barr, on for a segment of misinformation regarding the acquittal of Michael Sussmann, a Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer who was hounded by Barr’s special counsel, John Durham.

Durham’s mandate was to invent legal distractions in an effort to vindicate Trump by fabricating phony charges of misconduct related to his unsavory connections to Russia. Durham never had a shred of evidence to justify his probe, which the jury recognized and quickly found Sussmann not guilty.

RELATED: Crybaby Trump FREAKS OUT Over the Durham Nothingburger Resulting in Acquittal of Clinton Lawyer

The typically softball interview of Barr allowed him paint a preposterous picture of the outcome of the trial. In the retelling of the story by Watters and Barr, Durham was actually victorious:

Watters: Do you feel in any way responsible for how this Durham situation is unfolding, and are you disappointed in John Durham?
Barr: No, I’m very proud of John Durham and I do take responsibility for his appointment. And I think he and his team did an exceptionally able job both seeking out very important facts and presenting a compelling case to the jury. And while he did not succeed in getting a conviction from the D.C. jury, I think he accomplished something far more important. Which is he brought out the truth in two important areas.

First, I think he crystalized the central role played by the Hillary campaign in launching as a dirty trick the whole Russia-gate collusion narrative, and fanning the flames of it. And second, I think he exposed really dreadful behavior by supervisors in the senior ranks of the FBI who knowingly used this information to start an investigation of Trump, and then duped their own agents by lying to them, and refusing to tell them what the real source of that information was.

It’s nice that Barr takes responsibility for the debacle that he so terribly mismanaged. However, his assessment of the results is purely delusional. If losing the most important case that the special counsel has brought to trial is representative of “an exceptionally able job,” you really have to wonder what Barr’s notion of failure is.

What Barr is arguing is that it isn’t important that his prosecutor’s case was entirely dismissed by the jury. What’s important in Barr’s view is that, in the process, a bunch of lies were propagated that he believes will have a negative effect on Clinton specifically, and Democrats generally. He’s outright admitting that the entire Durham probe was just a scam to harm his political foes.

However, what Barr identified as accomplishments that are greater than conviction were figments of his imagination. Durham utterly failed to “crystalize” Clinton’s role in launching dirty tricks. At best he revealed something that everyone already knows: that political campaigns – all of them – engage in opposition research. And there is no way that Clinton’s reputation was hurt by this show trial, because the right-wingers who paid any attention to it already regard Clinton as Satan in a pant suit.

Finally, Durham failed in his prime directive to deflect from Trump’s myriad criminal activities. If anything, he reminded people that Trump is still the subject of numerous investigations that are likely to lead to indictments. And he triggered an outraged Trump, who felt compelled to vent on his failing social media website, TRUTH Social.

RELATED: Trump Baselessly Accuses Hillary Clinton of a Capital Crime and Wishes He Could Put Her to Death

In the end, the only thing that Barr and Fox News accomplished was to affirm that their motives are entirely partisan and have nothing to do with the law. It’s a deception that may tittilate Fox News viewers, but will have zero impact on the population at large. Just as Barr’s and Durham’s fictions had zero impact on the Sussmann jury.

Tucker Carlson Uses Mockery of BTS as a Lead-In to Racist Lies About Black White House Staffers

There is nothing that Fox News’ Senior White Nationalist, Tucker Carlson, enjoys more than disgorging hateful diatribes against people of color, who he believes are being recruited to replace European bred citizens in a massive and diabolical scheme by Democrats to hand control of the United States over to non-white foreigners. And yes, he’s nuts.

Click here to Tweet this article

Fox News, Tucker Carlson, Klan

Carlson launched into another of his noxious rants Tuesday night, this time complaining that President Biden invited K-Pop superstars BTS to the White House to raise awareness of anti-Asian-American discrimination and violence. According to Carlson it was just a plot to divert attention from issues important to Black Americans. Who wants to tell Carlson that May was Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month?

RELATED: White Replacement Theory Huckster Tucker Carlson Now Says He’s ‘Not Sure Exactly What It Is’

The notion that Carlson, Fox’s chief proponent of the racist “white replacement” theory, actually cares about Black issues is impossible to take seriously. All he’s interested in is pitting Blacks against Asians, and everyone against the Euro-elites who he fronts for. And he affirms whatever doubts you might have when he continues his harangue (video below) saying that…

“The headline here is that the white supremacy in the Biden White House is so intense that twenty-one Black staffers – can there be more than twenty-one total? Not a huge staff at the White House – twenty-one Black staffers have fled. Speaking of the new Jim Crow.”

“White supremacy at the White House?” Carlson has a vivid and virulent imagination. He follows that up by introducing notorious right-wing race-baiter, Candace Owens, asking her if she’s surprised that “the racism and white supremacy at the White House is so intense that Black staffers are fleeing for their lives?” Owens responded by insulting Black White House staffers with the standard racist expression of contempt for minorities, saying that they were “just given these positions” because of their skin color, and that “they probably were underqualified” for them. To which Carlson added “Is there anything more destructive than white liberal guilt? It feels like it’s hurt more people than nuclear weapons.” “It really has,” agreed Owens obediently.

For the record, Carlson’s yammering about “fleeing” White House staffers is typically full of horse manure. He was referencing reports that Black staffers were leaving their jobs, but leaving out the facts related to their departures. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre replied to these reports saying that…

“‘The president is incredibly proud to have built what continues to be the most diverse White House staff in history, and he is committed to continuing historic representation for Black staff and all communities,’ said White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. ‘This is a normal time for turnover across the board in any administration and Black staff have been promoted at a higher rate than staff who are not diverse.'”

“A number of staffers who left, moreover, said it was on good terms. Some departures were for graduate school opportunities. Others went to different cabinet departments. Several said they were leaving because of family matters.”

What’s more, Carlson’s ignorance of the White House was evident in his assertion that it has a small staff that couldn’t possibly support the departure of a couple of dozen people. In fact, the Executive Office of the President has a total staff of 1,800 people. And even if you only count those who are directly engaged in the more narrowly defined White House Office, that’s still 377 people.

RELATED: On Fox News Tucker Carlson Drops His Sickest White Supremacy Conspiracy Theory Yet

So true to form, Carlson has demonstrated both his flaming racism and his world-class stupidity. These are regular features of his program. And it’s why he is currently the top rated host on Fox News, where such repugnant character flaws are regarded as assets.

Lauren Boebert Vies for ‘Dumbest Member of Congress’ Title: ‘We Didn’t Ban Planes’ After 9/11?

The contest for “Dumbest Member of Congress” is always a competitive affair that pits such legends of lunacy as Louis Gohmert, Matt Gaetz, and the eminently idiotic Marjorie Taylor Greene, against one another. The caliber of the crackpottery is so impressive that it’s near impossible to choose a winner.

Click here to Tweet this article

Lauren Boebert

However, on Thursday one contender made a valiant effort to lead the pack. Lauren Boebert appeared on Sean Hannity’s Fox News program to field some softballs from guest host Tammy Bruce. The subject was the massacre in Uvalde, Texas, that Fox News has been callously politicizing, while accusing concerned Democrats of being political. Bruce and Boebert discussed the potential of legislative initiatives to prevent future tragedies. Bruce asked Boebert “what the next step can be taken for some real change here.” Whereupon Boebert unleashed some stellar stupidity that assures she will remain a top contender for dimwit distinction:

“I want our schools secured. I want their children protected, and I want teachers that can protect themselves and their students. […] Sandy Cortez tweeting at me, but she hasn’t taken up my offer to meet an work together. And of course we saw Beto acted like a total jerk, and tried to use the deaths of these children as a prop to advance his political candidacy. When 9/11 happened, we didn’t ban planes. We secured the cockpit.”

Boebert joins the rest of the Republican gun fetishists in blaming everyone and everything for the tragedy , except for guns. She parroted the right-wing narrative that advocates turning schools into prisons and teachers into armed guards. She follows that up with some typically infantile insults aimed at Rep. Alexandria Cortez-Ocasio and Beto O’Rourke, who she whines won’t meet with her. Why would anyone want to meet with Boebert, whose childish behavior betrays her intellectual vacancy?

RELATED: FLAGRANT FOWL: QAnon GOP Rep Blames ‘Biden’s America’ for Chick-fil-A Sauce Shortage

Boebert’s repugnant personality notwithstanding, what truly sets her apart from the pinhead pack is her contention that “we didn’t ban planes” after 9/11. Really?

First of all, this is an utterly ludicrous analogy. There is no similarity whatsoever between the singular terrorist attack by Al Qaeda two decades years ago, and the horrifyingly frequent mass shootings that occur, uniquely, in the United States. Secondly, just as no one proposed banning all planes after 9/11, no one is proposing banning all guns now.

Although, even if we patronize Boebert’s bizarre analogy, she is making a great case for regulating guns. The truth is that air travel was broadly regulated after 9/11. Passengers have to provide government issued identification. They have to remove their shoes and belts and any metal objects from their pockets. They can’t carry aboard any common objects like scissors, or containers of liquids more than eight ounces. They and their baggage are screened with x-rays.

RELATED: QAnon Rep Lauren Boebert Has a Sad Over Biden Doing What He Was Elected To Do

In other words, the 9/11 incident resulted in the implementation of numerous strict regulations to increase public safety. So by Boeert’s alleged logic, guns should be similarly regulated, and for the same reason. But don’t expect her to grasp that. Her cognitive capabilities are too limited to understand what she’s saying. Which is precisely why she ranks so high on the imbecile scale in the first place.

In a Repulsive Political Rant Tucker Carlson Accuses Biden of Politicizing the Uvalde Massacre

Fox News, and the Republican Party for which it stands, has established a nauseatingly predictable response to the sort of tragic event that occurred on Tuesday in Uvalde, Texas. To the cretins on Fox there is never a good time to discuss the causes of, or solutions to, mass shootings. And any effort to do so is characterized as politicizing a tragedy.

Click here to Tweet this article

Fox News, Guns Logo

The problem with that is that it guarantees that there will be more carnage and grief for which right-wing partisans will only offer “thoughts and prayers” – again. They seem to be hell-bent on preserving a status quo wherein victims – even children – are repeatedly slaughtered in order to avoid offending the National Rifle Association (NRA) or, even worse, cooperating with President Biden and the Democrats to implement solutions that will save lives and that most Americans favor.

RELATED: HOLY SHHH! Fox News Links Mass Shootings to the COVID Vaccine

Leading the charge of the callous crusaders is Fox’s Senior White Nationalist and bootlicking Putin puppet, Tucker Carlson. And on Tuesday evening he demonstrated his determination to advance the NRA’s ammosexual agenda. In a tiresome tirade seeking to portray Biden as politicizing the shooting, Carlson shamelessly politicized the shooting:

“The president of the United States, frail, confused, bitterly partisan, desecrating the memory of recently murdered children with tired talking points of the Democratic Party, dividing the country in a moment of deep pain rather than uniting. His voice rising, amplified only as he repeats the talking points he repeated for over 35 years in the United States Senate, partisan politics being the only thing that animates him. Unfit for leadership of this country.”

Carlson’s analysis of of the speech that Biden gave on Tuesday (video below) is not just childishly insulting, it’s profoundly at variance with reality. Nothing that Biden said could be coherently described as “desecrating the memory of recently murdered children.” Nor was it “dividing the country,” that is united in support of the reforms that Biden and Democrats in Congress have proposed. But Carlson was just getting started:

“What a moment this would’ve been if he had stopped a sentence in and said we’re gonna pray for these families and let’s let this marinate for a minute. Let’s stand respectfully before a tragedy. And Joe Biden has lived tragedy so he can say that with some credibility. He moved immediately into some DNC rant off a cue card. That’s the president?” […]

“To stand before the image of murdered children, and your first impulse is, ‘I can be more powerful if only I leverage this in the right way.’ I am in shock having seen the president on the United States call for more power for himself. That is his answer?”

So Carlson’s solution is to “let this marinate for a minute”? Whatever that means. And he continues to accuse Biden of having ulterior motives of securing “more power for himself.” However, Carlson never explains how enacting common sense gun reforms that are broadly popular makes Biden more powerful.

Carlson’s guest, Fox and Friends co-host Will Cain, complained that funds were spent on Ukraine and COVID that should be used on “protecting schools” instead. Seriously? The shooting in Texas was unquestionably horrendous. But comparing tragedies to one another is the province of a sick mind. Tens of thousands of lives have been lost in Ukraine and millions of people have become refugees in this battle for democracy. As for COVID, which Carlson has dismissed as a distraction or a hoax, the United States recently passed the one million mark of fatalities. A decent and humane country has a heart big enough to care for all of these matters.

RELATED: Tucker Carlson of Fox News Says ‘Vaccines Don’t Work and They’re Not Telling You’

In the speech that Carlson was “shocked” by, Biden showed compassion and commitment to stemming the epidemic of gun violence. And perhaps that’s exactly what bothers him so much.

“I had hoped, when I became President, I would not have to do this again. Another massacre. Uvalde, Texas. An elementary school. Beautiful, innocent second, third, fourth graders. And how many scores of little children who witnessed what happened. […] As a nation, we have to ask: When in God’s name are we going to stand up to the gun lobby? When in God’s name will we do what we all know in our gut needs to be done? […] For every parent, for every citizen in this country, we have to make it clear to every elected official in this country: It’s time to act.”

Fox News Blatantly Lies that Biden ‘Praised’ High Gas Prices When He Actually Criticized Them

It’s another day that ends in “Y” so Fox News is creating another in their perennial series of flagrant falsehoods aimed at maligning Democrats. It’s an awesome burden that they bear to keep coming up with new lies. And President Biden isn’t helping by failing to provide them with actual catastrophes that they can plausibly blame him for.

Click here to Tweet this article

Fox News, Joe Biden, Fake News

On Tuesday morning the official “Message of the Day” as chosen by Fox’s editorial board was that Biden confessed to intentionally raising gas prices and “praised” the increases. That was the wholly contrived narrative introduced by Maria Bartiromo for her segment on the subject following a video clip of Biden commenting on energy matters. An exasperated Bartiromo exclaimed “Look, he just admitted it in that sound bite that this is all intentional. It’s a plan.”

RELATED: Fox News Lies that Poll Shows a ‘Majority’ of Americans Blame Biden for Inflation – It Doesn’t!

Of course Biden never “admitted” anything of the sort. Not even close. But that didn’t stop Fox News from disseminating this deceitful drivel across their media platforms. On the Fox News website they posted a story headlined “President Biden seems to praise high gas prices as ‘incredible transition’ Americans must go through.” For the record, what Biden actually said was…

“When it comes to the gas prices, we’re going through an incredible transition that is taking place that, God willing, when it’s over, we’ll be stronger and the world will be stronger and less reliant on fossil fuels when this is over.”

Nowhere in that commentary did Biden suggest that high gas prices were intentional. Nor did he praise or celebrate them. To the contrary, when someone includes the phrase “God willing” in this context, it indicates an explicit desire for relief from hardship. And Biden’s optimism that “the world will be stronger … when this is over” affirms his acknowledgement of the troubles that people are presently enduring, with a hopeful eye toward the future.

To put an even finer point on how wrong the Fox News analysis of this was, Biden later spoke about “what I’ve been able to do to keep it from getting even worse — and it’s bad.” So apparently Fox News regards words like “worse” and “bad” as synonymous with “praise.”

Fox News never bothers to explain why Biden would want to deliberately increase gas prices. Do they think that Biden’s agenda views punishing people at the pump as a strategy that will deliver more votes?

Such logical considerations are foreign to Fox’s faux journalism. To Fox News all that matters is that Biden used the adjective “incredible” to describe the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy. And because Fox’s vocabulary is so shallow, they think that the word “incredible” can only mean fantabulous, rather than just notable or uncommon.

Fox News is also fixated on opposing environmentally sound alternatives to fossil fuels, which Biden correctly notes would make the U.S. and the world stronger. In their article they complain that Biden’s policies contributed to the increase in gas prices. Their evidence is that he canceled the Keystone XL pipeline and paused some oil and gas leases on federal lands. Neither of those measures would have any effect on gas prices. The Keystone XL pipeline was slated to move oil from Canada to the Gulf Coast where it was to be shipped overseas. And the leases were withdrawn because the oil companies weren’t using them.

RELATED: Biden Brilliantly Debunks the Lies By Trump and Fox News About Energy Production in America

Another thing that Fox News never bothers to explain is why gas prices are increasing around the world. And in most places the increases are far higher than here in the U.S. In fact, rating the highest gas prices in 170 countries, the U.S. at $4.66 per gallon is way down the list at #106. Does Fox News think that Biden is also president of Norway where gas is twice as much at $9.64 per gallon?

The lies that Fox News is dispensing have already spread to their political affiliates. The New York Post writes that “Biden praises high gas prices as part of ‘incredible transition.'” The Federalist says that “Biden Celebrates Record-High Gas Prices As ‘Incredible Transition.'” The Daily Caller asks “So the high prices are intentional, Joe?” And of course Republicans in Congress (i.e. Marsha Blackburn, Ted Cruz, Rick Scott, Steve Scalise, etc) are regurgitating the false reporting.

The right-wing echo chamber is reverberating with this rubbish. And it will continue as long as they think they can get some political mileage out of it. After which they will have to invent some other fake scandal and start all over again. It’s what they were created to do. It’s why Biden appropriately called them out for being One of the Most Destructive Forces in the U.S. But the only thing that they accomplish is making their audience more stupid every day. And at they they are pretty darn good.

Fox News Grossly Distorts Stacey Abrams’ Remarks About Living in Georgia

It’s always a simple matter to determine what and who Fox News is most afraid of at any given moment. It’s revealed in the most obvious manner in how they parcel out their outrage and air time. And as the Republican primary for governor in Georgia approaches, Fox News is, once again, showing their cards.

Donald Trump, Hell Hole

The Democratic candidate for governor in Georgia, Stacey Abrams, is running unopposed in her Party. That’s providing her with a significant advantage over the Republicans who are battling over their current governor, Brian Kemp, and the Donald Trump endorsed challenger, David Perdue, who is presently behind by more than thirty points. Trump despises Kemp because he refused to obey Trump’s illegal commands to overturn Georgia’s election results that affirmed Joe Biden’s victory.

In an effort to impede Abrams’ momentum, The “Curvy Couch” potatoes of Fox and Friends did a segment that was wholly derogatory and dishonest (video below). They played a portion of a recent speech that they deceptively edited and took completely out of context, focusing on a sentence fragment that they could mangle into something incendiary and misleading. What Abrams actually said was that…

“I am tired of hearing about how we’re the best state in the country to do business when we are the worst state in the country to live. Now, somebody’s gonna try to PolitiFact me on this, so let me contextualize. When you’re number 48 for mental health, when we’re number one for maternal mortality, when you have an incarceration rate that’s on the rise and wages that are on the decline, then you are not the number one place to live in the United States. But we can get there.”

The part that Fox News glommed onto was the snippet about Georgia being “the worst state in the country to live.” Knowing that unscrupulous right-wingers would try to twist her words, she immediately made it clear that she was talking about some of the areas in which the current GOP governor was failing the people and the state.

That’s actually a common campaign message by a candidate for any office who is challenging an incumbent. You point out the shortcomings of your opponent and explain how you will improve things. And that’s what Abrams did, even promising a brighter future saying that “we can get there.”

However, Fox News left out the optimistic part of Abrams’ speech so that they could falsely accuse her of insulting the state she’s running to lead. And they totally ignore the realities of campaigning that include exposing your opponent’s weaknesses.

What makes this all the more despicable is that Fox News never holds Republicans to the same standard. Especially not their Dear Leader Trump. There is no politician in modern times who has been more offensive in maligning America than Trump. He often refers to the U.S. as weak and stupid. And his vile, anti-patriotic attacks frequently cast the U.S. as a province of Hades. For instance…

Despite Trump’s obvious contempt for America, his disdain for Gov. Kemp is even greater. So he gave a sort of backhanded endorsement to Abrams last September saying that “having her I think might be better than having your existing governor.” What’s more, his anti-Kemp crusade has produced a backlash that is causing Republicans to vow not to vote for Kemp next November.

That could put Abrams in the awkward position of having to thank Trump for his help during her victory speech. Not that Trump really deserves thanks just for being a hate-filled ignoramus.

Donald Trump Whines to Fox News that He Wants His (Putrid) Reputation Back? – He Can Have It!

This week the right-wing media mob became fixated on flogging yet another baseless pseudo-scandal involving former senator and Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton. It’s rather impressive how, after thirty years, Clinton still manages to send tingles up the spongy spines of the Deplorable press.

Donald Trump

The subject of this wholly contrived non-controversy was a report concerning the testimony of Clinton’s former campaign manager, Robby Mook in a show trial led by special clown-sel, John Durham. Most of the reporting parroted the same deliberate distortions that Fox News disseminated in their predictably biased coverage.

SEE: Media Freaks Out Over Fake News that Hillary Clinton Approved Trump/Russia Campaign Stories

On Sunday Fox News followed up their story with a response from Donald Trump. But first they had to reiterate the falsehoods that they dispensed in the original report. In the opening sentence Fox stated that “Hillary Clinton herself approved the dissemination of false information.” Which is utterly untrue and not supported by their own article.

The campaign did not regard the information as false. In fact, it was deemed credible at the time by multiple sources. And they disseminated it to a reporter who they expected would conduct a more in depth investigation. That’s actually the responsible course of action. Nevertheless, Fox News sought a response from Trump who could only be relied on to muddy the matter further. Which he did…

“‘This is one of the greatest political scandals in history,’ Trump told Fox News Saturday morning. ‘For three years, I had to fight her off, and fight those crooked people off, and you’ll never get your reputation fully back. Where do I get my reputation back?’ Trump said again. ‘I had to fight them off,’ Trump said. ‘And if we had real leadership, instead of people like Mitch McConnell, they would do something about it. And guys like Bill Barr. They would have done something about it.’ [and that it] distracted officials from what ‘could have been a real danger with Russia.'”

Trump is right about this being “one of the greatest political scandals in history.” Just not the one in his delusional mind. The fact that he and his campaign corroborated so often with Russia is unprecedented. And his complaints that rabidly partisan players like McConnell and Barr weren’t sufficiently corrupt for his purposes only makes him look even more guilty.

However, what stands out in this tirade is Trump’s pleading that he get his reputation back. Really? He wants to restore a reputation best known for dishonesty, corruption, hostility, malignant narcissism, and jaw-dropping ignorance? He wants to refresh the public’s impression of him as the ultimate loser and recidivist failure? Okay, fine. Let him have it.

As for Fox News, their reputation isn’t any better. The same article brazenly lied about Trump’s unsavory connections to Russia, and his infatuation with Vladimir Putin, saying that…

“After nearly two years, Mueller’s investigation yielded no evidence of criminal conspiracy or coordination between the Trump campaign and Russian officials during the 2016 presidential election.”

After three years Fox News is still peddling the falsehood that Mueller found no evidence of Trump colluding with Russia or violating the law. To the contrary, in his Senate testimony Mueller explicitly told the House Judiciary Committee Chairman, Jerry Nadler, that Trump was not, as he repeatedly lied, “totally exonerated.” And in another exchange with Rep. Adam Schiff, Mueller confirmed that “Trump and his campaign welcomed and encouraged Russian interference [and] lied about it to cover it up.”

SEE Exoneration? Collusion? Obstruction? Trump’s Fate is Sealed By 3 Brief Exchanges with Mueller

So if that’s the reputation that Trump wants back, he’s more than welcome to it. In fact, he never lost it to begin with. After all, he worked so hard to slather it with sleaze and drench it in disgrace that it would be a shame to let that go to waste. And it’s rather humorous that Trump thinks his reputation was taken from him. Because. seriously, who else would want it?
