The diagnosis of Donald Trump as a malignant narcissist only begins to paint the picture of precisely how distorted his image of himself is. Yes, he is a sociopath who regards himself as a perfect specimen of humanity. And yes, he believes he is infallible and deserving of total adulation from the entire world. And yes, he couldn’t care less about anyone other than himself.

However, even that chilling depiction of Trump doesn’t go far enough to accurately describe his nefarious neuroses. He has crossed much farther into the domain of dementia than mere narcissism can explain. And the proof of his mental maladies are frequently apparent in his own raving commentaries in speeches and on his posts to his pitifully failing social media scam, Truth Social.

On Saturday morning Trump unleashed a stream of outrage at his being held to account by the law for his multitude of crimes. And true to form, he displayed his hysterically unhinged view of a world that he fears is dead set on destroying him. Of course, he couldn’t possibly be responsible for his legal tribulations, despite his having blatantly broken numerous laws and bragged about it.

Trump’s rambling and rancid remarks were an opus that chronicled the offenses thrust upon him by every judge presiding over his trials. And naturally, Trump cast himself as the victim. For someone who pretends to be a monument of manhood, he sure whines about his perpetual victimization a lot. His Saturday morning mewling began with a general attack on the judicial system that he believes is persecuting him, asking…

“How many Corrupt, Biased, Crooked Joe Biden-‘Protection Agency’ New York Judges do I have to endure before somebody steps in?”

To answer Trump’s question…How about maybe “at least one.” Since there currently is not a single “Corrupt, Biased, Crooked Joe Biden-‘Protection Agency’ New York Judge” presiding over any of his cases, his question is impudent and inane. And who does he think should “step in” to rescue him? The Justice League?

Trump went on from there to take a swipe at the judge who presided over the case that found him liable for the defamation and sexual assault of writer E. Jean Carroll. Trump wrote that…

“I had New York Federal Judge, Lewis Kaplan, with a woman who I never knew, and had nothing to do with, until she sued me for ‘defamation.'”

Trump seems to be determined to tack on more judgments against him for defaming Carroll. He has already been been found liable twice, escalating his expenses from $5 million to $88 million.

Moving along, Trump followed that up with an attack on the judge overseeing his financial fraud fraud case, wherein he was ordered to pay $454 million in restitution. He yammered that…

“Then, of course, we have Arthur Engoron, a total lunatic, whack job, who ruled that I should pay an almost $500 Million Dollar ‘fine’ for having done nothing wrong.”

Obviously, the judgment was not for his “having done nothing wrong.” It was for his having been found to have deliberately falsified his financial records and misrepresented them to banks and other financial institutions in order to get better deals and unlawfully reduce his tax liabilities.

The next target on Trump’s hit list was Judge Juan Merchan, who he complained was “not allowing me to talk [and] is taking away my First Amendment Rights, he’s got me GAGGED.” If only. The gag order Merchan issued was in response to Trump’s repeated attacks on people involved in the case, including the families of the Judge, prosecutor and witnesses. He wrote that…

“Now, we have Merchan, who is not allowing me to talk, thereby violating the Law and the Constitution, all at once.”

Clearly Trump has no idea what the law or the Constitution say about any of this. And he wouldn’t care if he did know. His modus operandi is to violate the law when it suits him, and he has explicitly called for “terminating” the Constitution.

Trump closed by elevating himself to the status of martyr, saying that…

“If this Partisan Hack wants to put me in the ‘clink’ for speaking the open and obvious TRUTH, I will gladly become a Modern Day Nelson Mandela – It will be my GREAT HONOR. We have to Save our Country from these Political Operatives masquerading as Prosecutors and Judges, and I am willing to sacrifice my Freedom for that worthy cause.”

Sure. Because Trump is exactly like Nelson Mandela who spent 28 years in prison for fighting for the rights of the Black citizens of South Africa. Trump, however, is fighting only for his right to break any laws that he wants with impunity. How is anything that he is whining about beneficial to anyone but himself? And yet, He has literally demanded that he be given “total immunity” for any wrongdoing.

That is the essence of Trump’s dementia. He has delusions of grandeur, combined with a messiah complex. He views any perceived wrong imposed on him as a universal assault on all of mankind. His persecutors must be eliminated, and the world must not only agree with his complaints, but must drop everything and come to his rescue. And he will continue to whine about it until he gets his way.
