Trump Unleashes a Fear-Drenched, Lie-Riddled Rant Misstating ‘Facts’ From His Many Indictments

As 2023 winds to close, Donald Trump is exhibiting ever more obvious signs of debilitating anxiety. And with the caravan of legal wagons circling around him, his emotional state is circling the drain. The closer he comes to being held accountable for the multitude of crimes he’s committed, the deeper he descends into desperation driven delusion.

Donald Trump Circling the Drain

The latest example of Trump’s decline is yet another rabid rant on his failing social media scam, Truth Social. It follows a tedious blast of dozens of posts wherein he shamelessly exalts himself, links to wingnut propaganda (i.e. Breitbart, Gateway Pundit, etc.), and cites polls showing him trouncing his Republican primary challengers…

FOR INSTANCE: Traitor Trump Posts Video of Putin Supporting Him and Attacking the ‘Rottenness’ of U.S. Politics

Trump was clearly having another bad morning Saturday when he woke up to find that his legal nightmares had not simply evaporated with the morning dew. So true to form, he regurgitated more of the same slop he’s been shoveling for months about how he is such a beleaguered victim of meanies out to destroy him. And this outburst was just as filled with nonsense as every other one he’s unloaded. He began

“The Supreme Court has unanimously rejected Deranged Jack Smith’s ‘SUPER SPEEDY’ lawsuit against me. This sick puppies team of Lowlifes and Radical Left Thugs could have brought this ‘case’ 3 years ago, and it would be long over by now. No, they waited until right in the middle of my very successful campaign for President.”

Let’s stop there to interject some reality. First of all, the Supreme Court did not “unanimously reject” special counsel Jack Smith’s request (it was not a “lawsuit”) to advance the question of “presidential immunity” over the appellate court. While the request was denied, the Justices’ votes were not revealed. So his claim that it was unanimous was made up. And the denial wasn’t a rejection on the merits. It just means that the matter will be heard at the appellate level before inevitably going back to the Supreme Court.

What’s more, it’s rather bizarre that Trump, who frequently complains that his cases took too long to come to court, is objecting to a request to “SUPER SPEEDY” them up now. In fact, he gripes about that very issue with his remarks about the “sick puppies” who he thinks should have gone after him three years ago. There’s just one little problem with that. Three years ago was prior to when he committed many of his crimes.

MORE HERE: Trump is FREAKING OUT, Saying that His Trials Should Have Started Before He Committed His Crimes

Most defendants would prefer an expedited path to what they believe would be their exoneration. But not Trump. Probably because he knows he’s guilty and will be convicted. Also because he hopes to delay the proceedings until he is reelected and can then quash the indictments and/or pardon himself.

Trump’s tirade continued with his boneheaded legal opinion that his indictments should be run through a political filter before being issued. He thinks that somehow his polling should have been weighed prior to his being charged.

“If I were polling poorly, like everyone else against me is (including Crooked Joe Biden!), or, for some reason, I decided not to run, they never would have even brought this ridiculous and disgraceful lawsuit. It is Election Interference like never before seen in our Country.”

So Trump is now babbling about whether he would have been charged were he not campaigning for president. But that’s just further proof of his dementia. For the record, the investigations into his crimes actually did begin before his campaign did. Probes of his hoarding of classified documents began in the summer of 2021, and the FBI opened a formal investigation on March 30, 2022. The election interference investigation in Georgia began 2021, and a grand jury was convened on May 2, 2022. The New York financial fraud case began in 2019, and the Attorney General filed a lawsuit on September 21, 2022. All of that was prior to his November 15, 2022, announcement of his 2024 campaign.

Trump still wasn’t through yammering incoherently. He continued with a preposterous divergence from the issues he himself was raising.

“In a certain way, it is real ‘insurrection,’ especially when adding the millions of people, from places unknown, that the worst President in the history of the United States is allowing to pour into our Country, totally unchecked and unvetted. This insane Open Border’s decision will prove to be a mistake for the ages, but I will fix it. MAGA!!!”

There’s hardly any need to rebut the idiocy Trump is spewing there. No sane person believes that any of what Trump is saying constitutes an insurrection. He’s just trying to use projection, and doing so really badly. Furthermore, no one believes that President Biden is “the worst President in the history of the United States.” To the contrary, most Americans say that’s Trump. And no knowledgeable person believes that the borders are open. If they were there wouldn’t be record numbers of apprehensions and expulsions.

Trump’s latest hysterical harangue affirms just how low he has sunk psychologically. And just when you think he’s hit bottom, he finds another level of depth that no one could have imagined. That’s his superpower. And we should not be surprised if he sinks even farther in the weeks and months ahead.

Trump’s Fear and Desperation Kick Into High Gear in Bonkers Rant About the Supreme Court Appeal

The legal tribulations of Donald Trump took a turn for the worse this week as special counsel Jack Smith sought to bypass the appellate circuit courts and have the Supreme Court rule on Trump’s frivolous motion to dismiss the case involving his role in the January 6th insurrection.

Click here to Tweet this article

Donald Trump Angry

Trump’s ludicrous motion argues that he has universal impunity to commit any crime, due to what he calls “presidential immunity.” By his demented reckoning, he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and be legally untouchable. And the thought of anyone challenging his perverse perspective of blanket indemnity enrages him. Consequently, upon hearing about Smith’s request, Trump was predictably apoplectic, a state he achieves at surprisingly frequent intervals. Like whenever he is awake.

SEE THIS: Trump Confesses to Bouts of Rage and Gluttony After Liz Cheney Reports His Reaction to January 6

In a furious tirade delivered during a speech in Iowa (video below), Trump lashed out at Smith’s perfectly reasonable and legally astute request. And as is often the case, his own words are more damning, and demonstrative of his cognitive decline, than those of his harshest critics. They require little commentary to expose how painfully hollow and bereft of reason his rants are. He began by babbling that…

“Now they’re saying let’s rush it to the Supreme Court. We gotta rush it, rush it, rush it. They could have started three years ago. Everything – nothing changed. They could have started three years ago, but they didn’t. They started just recently with this crap. They started just recently. They could have brought this lawsuit three years ago, right after I left. It’s been three years. But they didn’t do that. And now they’re saying ‘We have to go immediately before the Supreme Court.’ This thing would have all been over with two years ago. But they waited and waited and waited.

Reminiscent of his “Russia, Russia, Russia,” rant, Trump is now yammering “rush it, rush it, rush it.” That was followed by his tedious complaint that his perceived persecutors waited too long to charge him. However, Smith was appointed more than a year ago, and the Justice Department probe began well before that. But there’s an even bigger problem with Trump’s complaint that “they could have brought this lawsuit three years ago.” Three years ago he had not yet committed some the crimes he is being charged with.

SEE ALSO: Trump is FREAKING OUT, Saying that His Trials Should Have Started Before He Committed His Crimes

Notice also that Trump is repeating himself incessantly. And not just the “rush it” rhetoric. In the brief segment above he refers four times to the “three years” that he complains went by. Psychologists might diagnose this as Palilalia, a condition that is frequently present in people suffering from neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer’s disease.

But Trump was just getting started. He continued his caterwauling…

“And then they saw I was running. And they waited and then they saw I was hot. And they filed lawsuits. These are very dishonest people. That’s called election interference. These are very – and now they’re fighting like hell because they want to try and get a guilty plea from the Supreme Court of the United States, which I can’t imagine cause you have presidential immunity.”

Trump’s assertion that a criminal prosecution is “election interference” makes no sense whatsoever. If accepted as a plausible defense it would permit a would-be murderer to announce his candidacy before committing his crime, and then be excused from prosecution until after his campaign and term in office.

Trump is also exhibiting his pitifully ignorant grasp of the law. The Supreme Court does not issue judgements of guilt or innocence. And they certainly don’t issue guilty pleas. They only ascertain whether the lower courts and/or the law were in compliance with the Constitution.

Finally, Trump reiterates his claim of presidential immunity, which he is anxious to have the courts affirm. So then why is he objecting to this question being elevated to the Supreme Court where his arguments can be heard and decided more expeditiously? On the one hand he whines that “They waited and waited and waited.” Now he’s simultaneously complaining that they are rushing it.

Perhaps it’s because he knows that his argument is preposterous and won’t be affirmed by a profoundly conservative court with three of his own appointees. Or maybe he’s just as riddled with dementia as many of his critics – including those who know him well – have been saying for years. Or maybe some of both.

In any case, he is proving that he is wholly unfit to serve as president, or in any other public office. And the fact that he is still the leading candidate for the Republican Party’s nomination for president tells you all you need to know about them as well.

Lara Trump Flips Charges – that Donald Trump is Running for President to Avoid Prison – to Biden

It has become increasingly clear that the primary campaign strategy of Donald Trump as he seeks to reoccupy the White House is a variation on the elementary school debate response, “I know you are, but what am I?” It shouldn’t surprise anyone that the Trump camp would revert to such a childish tactic considering that it aligns so well with the stunted emotional development of Trump and his MAGA cult followers.

Click here to Tweet this article

Joe Biden, Donald Trump

By falsely accusing President Biden of crimes that Trump himself has actually been committing, the Trump “brain trust” thinks they can flip the script and redirect valid criticisms of Trump to his opponent. Either that or just muddy the waters so that the criticism of Trump isn’t taken seriously. It’s projection on a grand scale that only affirms the maliciousness and dishonesty of Trump. He recently tried to invoke the same ploy to deflect accurate descriptions of Trump as an aspiring dictator…

SEE THIS: Trump Cloddishly Dodges Hannity’s Softball Questions About Whether He Would Be a Dictator

On Thursday morning Lara Trump was the messenger of this maneuver on Newsmax, the network that currently employs her as contributor and fill-in host. She was asked about recent remarks by Biden, who when asked about the potential of his facing a rematch with Trump said that “If Trump wasn’t running, I’m not sure I’d be running.” In response to a follow up question about whether any other Democrats could beat Trump, Biden added, “I’m not the only one, But I will defeat him.”

That led daughter-in-law Lara to contrive a crackpot theory that Biden is only running to avoid future investigations conducted by a weaponized Trump Justice Department. It’s a theory that she stole from Democratic legal experts who have plausibly surmised that it is Trump who is hoping to avoid prison by winning a second term. Lara said that…

“Very interesting to hear Joe Biden say that I guess the only reason he’s decided to run is because of Donald Trump. Well, is that because he thinks that Donald Trump might investigate his family even further? You know, you look at this situation with Hunter Biden. I think a lot of people might, might draw some correlation there and say, well, maybe the only reason that Joe Biden is trying to hang on to power is because his family depends on him trying to continue the cover up that we know has happened for the Biden crime family. It’s very interesting. This is nothing new. This is part of of the politics that we see here in the United States of America. But people know very well that Donald Trump is not a dictator, of course.”

First of all, Biden never said that the “only” reason he’s running is avoid being investigated by Trump. He merely said that he wasn’t “sure” if would run. He has long held the position that he is best suited to defeat Trump, and that if Trump were not running, he could sit it out.

More to the point, Lara’s contention that Biden is afraid of any legal scrutiny is wholly manufactured in her head. Unlike Trump, Biden has never tried to evade any legal inquiries or subpoenas. Plus, there are no pending indictments or charges that he would need to worry about. Nor have Republicans been able to come up with any shred of evidence of any wrongdoing on Biden’s part, despite years of trying. Trump, on the other hand, is facing 91 felony counts in four indictments. So it’s Trump, not Biden, who has some realistic fears of future prosecution and incarceration.

SEE ALSO: Trump’s Derangement Spirals Ever Downward as He Impotently Promises to Prove His Innocence

What’s more, Lara’s phony projection is a de facto admission that her father-in-law poses a real threat to Biden. She is conceding the possibility that Trump would abuse his power as president to persecute Biden and his other political enemies.

It’s also notable that Lara closed these comments by declaring that “Donald Trump is not a dictator.” You know you’re not winning an argument If you have to conclude it with a public denial like that. Even so, her denial is contrary to the rhetoric that Trump has been spewing. His hostile references to “retribution,” locking up his critics, building concentration camps, and his adoration of foreign tyrants, are proof, in his own words, of his nefarious intentions.

GOP Speaker Johnson is Helping Criminals who Stormed the Capitol on January 6th to Evade the Law

The Republican Party has long referred to itself as the party of “law and order.” That has never really been true, but it is farther removed from that description than ever with its current leader, Donald Trump, who is facing 91 felony charges, and has already been found liable for multiple crimes including financial fraud and rape.

GOP Insurrection

The GOP has lately been embracing the alternate designation of “outlaw and disorder.” That’s especially evident in the aftermath of the violent insurrection that Trump incited on January 6, 2021, when he refused to peacefully leave office. Ever since then Trump has been feverishly disseminating his “Big Lie” that the 2020 presidential election was “rigged and stolen” from him. Never mind that he has failed to produce a shred of evidence to support his claims in more than three years and 60+ court cases. And that failure is driving him crazy(er).

SEE THIS: Trump Confesses to Bouts of Rage and Gluttony After Liz Cheney Reports His Reaction to January 6

Adding to the GOP’s commitment to criminality is the new Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson. In a press conference on Tuesday Johnson was asked about the 44,000 hours of videos of the January 6th insurrection that he has promised to release to the public. He claims that this is an act of transparency that will allow the American people to judge for themselves what happened. As if they didn’t already see it live on television at the time. And does Johnson really think that people are going to sit through 44,000 hours of video, a task that would take them five years if they watched 24 hour a day?

Making matters even worse (a key feature of today’s Republicans in Congress), at Tuesday’s press conference Johnson repeated his intention to blur the faces of the people in the insurrection videos. However, on this occasion, Johnson stated his reason for doing so…

“We trust the American people to draw their own conclusions. They should not be dictated by some narrative and accept that as fact. So they can review the tapes themselves. We’re going through a methodical process of releasing them as quickly as we can. As you know, we have to blur some of the faces of persons who participated in the events of that day because we don’t want them to be retaliated against and to be charged by the DOJ, and to have other, you know, concerns and problems.”

To be clear, what Johnson is saying is that he is going to deliberately hide the identities of the criminals who stormed the Capitol, assaulted police, terrorized members of Congress and their staff, and vandalized public property, all in an effort to obstruct Congress from carrying out its constitutional duty to certify the election. In other words, he is obstructing justice in order to help treasonous thugs get away with their crimes.

This raises some pressing questions for Johnson and others on the right who insist that January 6th was nothing more than a pleasant stroll through the Capitol by tranquil tourists. For instance, why would Johnson want to blur the faces of people who were allegedly engaging in a peaceful, legal protest? And wouldn’t he want to expose the members of Antifa and the FBI stooges that the right claims were inciting the riots?

Apparently not. It appears that Johnson’s motives are to shield lawbreakers from accountability for their criminal acts. He is purposefully obstructing justice and withholding evidence from law enforcement. Although it’s likely that the FBI already has these videos, so the only people Johnson actually cares about releasing them to are the MAGA media who will distort them to create the sort of false narratives that Johnson said he wants to avoid.

Johnson’s method of editing and releasing the tapes will only aid and abet those who intend to commit more crimes in the future. And he is simultaneously casting doubt on the 2020 election by supporting those who falsely claim that it was stolen. But then, Johnson has been open about his own intentions with regard to his stewardship of the House…

SEE ALSO: GOP Speaker Admits the Purpose of the Biden Impeachment Inquiry is to Hurt Biden Politically

Between now and November of 2024, the American people need to be repeatedly reminded that Republicans are affirmatively pro-criminal. They demonstrate that in their efforts to protect the Capitol rioters. It’s obvious in the excuses they make for undermining democracy. But even more so, it is evident in their worshipful, cult-like support for Trump, a recidivist lawbreaker who aspires to install himself as an American dictator. Which every patriotic American must work diligently to oppose and prevent. in the weeks leading up to the next election.

RELATED STORIES:

UPDATE: Johnson’s spokesman walked back his statements about blurring faces in the videos to keep the insurrectionists from being prosecuted. He says that Johnson meant that only videos available to the public would have the blurring. That, however, is not what he said. And how does it advance “transparency” if there is any such modifications at all? It’s likely they were told that Johnson’s remarks constituted obstruction of justice and they are trying to avoid legal liability.

Congress Boots Lying Liar George Santos, While Trump Remains Leader of the Republican Party

Joseph Goebbels, the minister of propaganda for the German Nazi government, was a notorious proponent of the “Big Lie” theory that says if you’re going to tell a lie, make a big one. He contended that people were more likely to believe a big lie told frequently, than smaller, less significant lies. And Donald Trump has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to confirming that theory.

Donald Trump Mugshot - Loser Emoji

On Thursday morning the House of Representatives voted to expel George Santos from Congress. Among the allegations against him were the repeated lies he has told about his past, and his criminal indictments currently pending. Why Republicans in Congress are suddenly worried about lying is a mystery, considering that it has been their chief political strategy since assuming their razor-thin majority in the House earlier this year.

SEE THIS: GOP and Fox News Oppose Public Testimony By Hunter Biden Because Then They Can’t Lie About It

The final vote to expel Santos was 311 to 114. However, it is notable that a majority of Republicans (105-112) voted against the expulsion. That includes every member of the GOP leadership. Apparently they favor keeping pathological liars in their caucus to advance their agenda along with fellow liars such as Jim Jordan, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, and their new Speaker, Mike Johnson.

Most Americans, though, will be relieved that a slimeball like Santos has been ousted. Just as they were relieved when Trump lost to President Biden in 2020. However, the Republican Party remains enamored of their most dishonest political leaders. And the best example of that is Trump himself.

A comparison of Trump and Santos reveals the GOP’s faith in the “Big Lie” theory. Santos told relatively small lies about his education, work experience, and personal history. Trump has told humungous lies to facilitate a violent coup in an effort to undermine American democracy. He also told large lies regarding his net worth in order to either avoid paying millions in taxes or to deceive banks to get lower loan rates. He also lied bigly about his sexual abuse of dozens of women, including the rape of writer E. Jean Carroll. In the Lie Derby, Trump is clearly the winner.

SEE ALSO: Ted Lieu Reads Federal Judge’s Confirmation that Trump is a Rapist Into Congressional Record

The Trump/Santos comparison is also notable in that Santos is awaiting trial on 23 charges. Trump has 91 charges currently pending, nearly four times as many as Santos. And while Santos hasn’t been convicted of anything yet, Trump has been found legally liable for financial fraud with his businesses, his “charity” foundation, his “university,” and for defamation and rape. But despite Trump’s dominance in both lies and crimes, it is Santos who got banished from his political perch. Meanwhile, Trump is the frontrunner for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.

The lesson from this is that Santos erred by not committing more serious crimes. Had he done so he might now be Trump’s running mate. Although that may still be a possibility. Trump, on the other hand, has been rewarded for his more egregious criminality. Democrats don’t behave this way. For instance, Sen. Bob Menendez, who was recently indicted, has already been called on to resign by many Democratic senators.

Republicans, however, admire nothing more than crooks who are adept at getting away with their crimes. So it’s no wonder that they worship an accomplished mob boss like Trump. And the fact that some of them held Santos to account, but not Trump, really tells you all you need to know about the GOP’s affinity for outlaws.

Trump Aide Jason Miller Accused of Sexual Assault – Is That a Trump Employment Prerequisite?

The number of Donald Trump associates implicated in illegal and/or immoral conduct just went up again. He already held the record for such unsavory connections in both his political and private lives, but he is apparently determined to set the bar so high that no one will ever challenge his dominance in depravity.

Click here to Tweet this article

Donald Trump, Pervert

Jason Miller, who is currently a senior advisor to Trump, has been accused of a variety of sexually related offences against another Trump aide, A.J. Delgado. He’s just the latest member of Trump’s inner circle to be charged with such grotesque misbehavior. Perhaps he can use as his defense that he was just following the example of his boss, who was recently affirmed to have committed rape against writer E. Jean Carroll.

SEE THIS: Ted Lieu Reads Federal Judge’s Confirmation that Trump is a Rapist Into Congressional Record

Delgado has filed a lawsuit against Miller, who has a prior history of alleged abuse and failure to take responsibility for his turpitude. According to Raw Story

“A lawsuit filed against longtime Trump aide Jason Miller accuses him engaging in ‘a cycle of sexual coercion, rape, sexual assault, abuse, battery, sexual harassment, and sex trafficking.’ [The lawsuit] was filed on behalf of A.J. Delgado, a former Trump 2016 campaign aide with whom Miller had an affair and who has since long accused Miller of stiffing her on child support payments.”

However, Miller is just the tip of the iceberg. The mob of miscreants that the Trump clan is composed of appears to be closely aligned with his set of morals, or lack thereof. In fact, the frequency of offenders on Trump’s team makes it appears as if committing sexual crimes is actually prerequisite to work for Trump, whose own vile exploits include dozens of allegations of assault and harassment. What follows is a partial, but noxious, enumeration of just a few of the perverts on Trump’s payroll.

Corey Lewandowski: “Former senior Donald Trump adviser Corey Lewandowski has cut a deal with Las Vegas prosecutors after he was charged with misdemeanor battery, stemming from allegations of unwanted sexual advances toward a woman during a charity dinner in Sept. 2021.”

Rudy Giuliani: “Cassidy Hutchinson, a former White House aide who became a key witness in congressional Jan. 6 hearings, alleges that former President Donald Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, groped her on the day of the assault on the Capitol.”

Rob Porter “Rob Porter, a top White House aide with regular access to President Donald Trump abruptly resigned on Wednesday amid abuse allegations from two ex-wives.”

Boris Epshteyn “Boris Epshteyn, a longtime aide to former President Donald Trump, was arrested in 2021 after he was accused of repeatedly groping two women in an Arizona nightclub, according to police records.”

Andrew Puzder Andrew Puzder, “a former corporate executive alleging sex discrimination and sexual harassment by Donald Trump’s labor secretary nominee, Andrew Puzder”

Adam Hageman Adam Hageman, “A Trump Commerce Department official has been jailed for five-and-a-half years after pleading guilty to possession of child sexual abuse images.”

Kimberly Guilfoyle “Kimberly Guilfoyle was fired from Fox News because of ‘inappropriate behavior,’ adding weight to previous reports that she was ousted over sexual harassment allegations.”

That’s quite a rogues gallery. And while each of them have earned their own place in the Trump Hall of Shame, they all fall short of his lofty record of decadence and corruption. Trump is alleged to have harassed and/or assaulted at least 26 women. He has been found liable for fraud related to his real estate business, his charitable foundation, and his phony university. And he is now facing four indictments containing 91 felony charges ranging from obstruction of justice, to falsifying financial records, to stealing and hoarding classified documents, to interfering with an election, and to staging a violent coup.

Yet somehow he remains not just a viable candidate for the Republican nomination for president, but the runaway leader. His cult followers – while few in number but loud in voice – continue to worship him and pledge their votes. Which is curious considering that he doesn’t believe that someone like himself should even be allowed to run…

Trump is FREAKING OUT, Saying that His Trials Should Have Started Before He Committed His Crimes

The legal melodrama that is playing out for Donald Trump is becoming ever more dense with the demented spectacle of his singular brand of aberrant behavior. In recent weeks he has shown up in court only to sit and scowl for a couple of hours, then to whine in the hallway to reporters about what a poor, pathetic victim he is.

Click here to Tweet this article

Donald Trump, Prison

While Trump is suffering severe anxiety due to the 91 felony counts against him that are pending in four jurisdictions, he is displaying increasing levels of desperation and hostility toward his perceived enemies. As a result, he has been sanctioned twice for violating a court order to refrain from attacking court personnel and witnesses. Meanwhile, his crime family accomplices (Ivanka, Eric, and Don Jr) have been ordered to testify at his trial, and his former lawyers (Sidney Powell, Kenneth Chesebro, and Jenna Ellis)) have been taking plea deals to save themselves.

SEE THIS: Trump’s Spokesperson Says He is ‘Confused’ About Why His Former Lawyers Would Plead Guilty

These would be highly distressing circumstances for anyone. But for a malignant narcissist like Trump they are impossible barriers to overcome psychologically or emotionally. Consequently, he is being driven to drastic depths of anguish and despair that are producing some of his most pronounced exhibitions of derangement. And naturally, he is venting his venom on his pitifully failing social media scam, Truth Social. In a flurry of comments Monday morning, Trump raged

“Why didn’t Crooked Joe Biden tell his Injustice Department to file the lawsuits and Indictments against me 3 years ago, instead of right in the middle of my campaign for President? You’re setting a BAD precedent for yourself, Joe. The same can happen to you. These Third World Biden Indictments, which should never have been filed, would have been tried and over with years ago. My SleazeBag Opponent shouldn’t be able to do this during my campaign, OR BEFORE THE ELECTION!”

Let’s take some time to unravel that rumpload of rubbish, shall we? For starters, there is no hint of proof that President Biden had anything to do with the indictments against Trump that were filed by three different prosecutors in both federal and state offices. Secondly, Trump is threatening to charge Biden with – who knows? Something or other – if he has the opportunity, despite insisting that such charges are unjust. Thirdly, Trump is now resorting to calling Biden a “Sleazebag,” which is a textbook example of projection in its most infantile form.

However, the most prominent crackpottery of Trump’s comment is his complaint that the charges against him should have been brought three years ago. Really? In October of 2020, while Trump was still president? That would mean that his Attorney General, Bill Barr, would have had to appoint the special prosecutor. So is Trump complaining that his own administration was negligent in enforcing the law against him?

What’s more, October of 2020 was before the November presidential election. So Trump is upset that he wasn’t charged with crimes that he had not even committed yet. Most of the pending indictments are related to his efforts to overturn the election, or to the insurrection that he incited on January 6, 2021, or to his theft and hoarding classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago home/hotel after he left the White House. All of which had not occurred yet three years ago.

Nevertheless, Trump thinks that he should have been charged in advance of his crimes. Is he admitting that he was already planning them? He also thinks that he is currently in the middle of his campaign for president, and that he should, therefore, not be charged at all. But he hasn’t stopped campaigning since his first announcement in 2015. Which is proof that his campaigns are actually just thinly veiled attempts to inoculate himself against indictments.

Trump followed up the comment above with three others that said essentially the same thing. First he wrote… “Why didn’t they start the totally political BIDEN INDICTMENTS & COURT CASES Three (3) Years Ago, instead of the MIDDLE OF MY CAMPAIGN??? Third World Country-ELECTION INTERFERENCE!!!” Then came… “If they started the highly political Biden Indictments 3 years ago, everything would now be finished. THEY WAITED UNTIL MY CAMPAIGN BEGAN!” And finally… “These highly political (All started by Crooked Joe Biden!) Lawsuits and Indictments shouldn’t be allowed to start until AFTER THE ELECTION IS OVER! Our Founding Fathers are looking down at Biden with scorn!”

Indeed, this would all have been finished by now if Trump had been tried three years ago. Although he is assuming that he would have been acquitted. But given the breadth and depth of his rampant criminality, that is not a safe assumption. While the trials would be over, he might also be in prison. So let’s hope he gets his wish to have these trials concluded long before the next election. Because the best way to prevent any “election interference” is for Trump and his confederates to be behind bars.

Trump’s Spokesperson Says He is ‘Confused’ About Why His Former Lawyers Would Plead Guilty

The past couple of weeks have been extraordinarily troubling for Donald Trump, who is currently awaiting trial on 91 felony charges. The fact that Trump’s family and attorneys are potentially flipping has been gnawing at him. Trump’s customary response to such heinous disloyalty is to pretend that he has never met the slimeball who has turned on him, or that they were cowards who merely delivered the coffee. But that’s a much more difficult argument when they are his legal representative and his children.

SEE THIS: BREAKING: Trump Admits that He Knows His Daughter Ivanka, a Witness in His Financial Fraud Case

In the wake of these defections by his closest associates, Trump’s spokesperson, Liz Harrington, rose to his defense in a particularly peculiar manner. She was interviewed by Emerald Robinson, who has the distinction of having been fired by Newsmax for promoting a crackpot conspiracy theory that the COVID vaccine contained “Luciferase,” an allegedly Satanic, bioluminescent marker that would be used to track people.

Robinson landed at Mike Lindell’s video blog where she continues to disgrace herself as a profoundly deranged propagandist and Trump cultist. The interview contained the following exchange about Trump’s legal quagmire…

Robinson: How does the President feel about these former lawyers, or his former associates pleading guilty? What are his thoughts on these developments?
Harrington: Well, I think he’s a little confused because if you’re a lawyer you know that there’s no crimes here. According to the law there’s literally nothing to plead guilty to because there’s no laws that were broken. And speaking out against a fraudulent election, and telling people to watch hearings and petition their elected officials about fraud that was happening on camera? I mean, it’s just surprising.

Robinson’s question is curious in that she asks how “the President” feels about the betrayal by Trump’s legal team. But how would Harrington know what President Biden is feeling about that or anything else?

Harrington’s reply, however, was unexpectedly honest. Her characterization of Trump as “confused” accurately describes his grasp of pretty much any issue. He is, after all, the guy who thinks that he’s currently running against Obama, that windmills kill whales, that stealth fighters are actually invisible, that we should nuke hurricanes, that George Washington’s Army took over airports, and that injecting bleach will cure COVID. And on the basis of that display of his “stable genius”, Trump says that ANYBODY running for the Office of President of the United States should agree to take a full & complete Mental Competency Test.” Okay, you first.

Harrington edges closer to the truth in saying that “if you’re a lawyer you know” whether or not a crime has been committed. And so far four of Trump’s lawyers (Michael Cohen, Sidney Powell, Kenneth Chesebro, and Jenna Ellis) are so certain that crimes were committed that they pleaded guilty to their own participation in them. If Harrington’s assertion that there is “literally nothing to plead guilty to,” then why have four lawyers done just that?

Harrington went on to claim that Trump and his ex-counsel were just “speaking out against a fraudulent election, and telling people to watch hearings and petition their elected officials about fraud.” But she left out that they also knew that the allegations of election fraud were lies, and that their actions included fabricating false election forms and threatening state election officials.

So Harrington is surprised that Trump is confused? Just because he can’t tell the truth about the unlawful conduct that his own attorneys have confessed to? She may be even more surprised that the judges and juries who will hear these cases won’t be the least bit confused when the convict him. And his cult disciples will be both dazed and confused, singing “You hurt and abuse, telling all of your lies. Run ’round, sweet baby, Lord, how they hypnotize.”

Trump Literally Pledges to Stage ‘RIGGED’ Trials to Punish Democrats for Upholding the Law

If there is anything that America has learned in the past few years about Donald Trump, it is that he is congenitally disposed to violate the law whenever he deems it to be in his interest to do so. Those who have followed his misconduct in the business world, prior to his political misadventures, have known this all along.

Donald Trump, Constitution

Some of Trump’s past wrongdoings have come to light only after he entered politics. And in some measure he has been held accountable. For instance, his phony Trump University was shuttered and he was ordered to pay $25 million in restitution. His charitable foundation was also closed, and he and his family were prohibited from operating any such enterprise in New York for five years. More recently, his Trump Organization, the core of his real estate business, was found to have committed financial fraud, and he is currently in court where the penalties will be assessed and imposed.

SEE THIS: Crybaby Trump Returns to the New York Courtroom Where He Whines that ‘This is a Rigged Trial’

On Wednesday Trump made another appearance at the New York courtroom where his former attorney and fixer, Michael Cohen, is testifying. On this occasion, as on others, Trump took to his pitifully failing social media scam, Truth Social, to whine that he is a victim of a massive cabal that is determined to destroy him. He yowled that…

“I have a very partisan and angry Judge, a Corrupt Attorney General, and am not allowed a Jury Trial under the Statute they have chosen to use (for the very first time ever!). The good news, that even the Fake News is seeing, is that the facts are ALL on my side! [and that] This is a RIGGED TRIAL, right out of a Banana Republic, but sadly, it gives the Republicans the right to do the same thing when we assume office.”

Setting aside his tedious babbling about partisan judges and corrupt Attorney Generals, Trump made an explicit promise to any of his cult disciples who might be listening. Referring to the prosecutions that he insists are unconstitutional witch hunts, Trump says that Republicans now have “the right to do the same thing when we assume office.” So he is, in effect, pledging to conduct unconstitutional witch hunts if he gets the opportunity.

That shouldn’t surprise anyone. Trump has spent the past three years trying to unlawfully reverse the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. To that end, he has threatened government officials and filed dozens of frivolous lawsuits, which he lost. He currently has 91 felony charges pending against him. And three of his former lawyers have already pleaded guilty to election interference.

Trump’s post was also notable for lying that, due to the statute that was “chosen,” he was not “allowed” to have a jury (if he wanted a jury he should have broken a law that permitted one), that the statute was never used before (yeah, it was), and that the media sees that the facts “are ALL on my side” (only if you limit your media to Fox News and Newsmax).

It isn’t unusual for a criminal defendant to complain about a prosecution being unfair or unlawful. But it is profoundly bizarre to then promise to exact revenge by engaging in the very same unlawfulness that was alleged. But that’s how Trump’s mind works. He thinks that if his car were repossessed for non-payment by the dealership, it would be okay for him to steal another car off the lot.

What’ more, Trump made some comments outside of the court that violated the gag order he was already under to refrain from disparaging or intimidating court personnel or witnesses. The Judge fined him $10,000, and warned that any further violations would result in more severe sanctions.

These are all additional reasons why Trump – or any of his MAGA cult – must not be allowed to hold any positions of power. They will abuse it for their own benefit, at the expense of the nation. They have no respect for the law, the Constitution, or democracy. And Trump has provided us with explicit evidence – in his own words – of the mob-like tactics he would impose were he to be reelected.

Trump’s Derangement Spirals Ever Downward as He Impotently Promises to Prove His Innocence

As Albert Einstein once said, “Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I’m not sure about the universe.” Had he been around today he might have added the depths of Donald Trump’s derangement. Researchers are still looking for a bottom, but haven’t seen any sign of it to date.

Donald Trump, coronavirus

The latest indicators of Trump’s measureless mental meltdown come via the postings on his pitifully failing social media scam, Truth Social. While the current news cycle is bursting with domestic and international crises, Trump is characteristically consumed by matters that affect only his own massive yet fragile ego.

On Friday morning Trump lashed out frantically at what he imagines to be a global cabal of Trump-haters conspiring to destroy him and his divinely inspired MAGA movement. He whined that…

“As I successfully fight these Political Opponent Lawsuits, all created and started by Crooked Joe Biden and his group of Radical Left Thugs […] let them keep suing me over BULLSHIT, in their hope of Election Interference, as our Country becomes disabled and dies.”

It’s curious how Trump thinks that President Biden is the mastermind of all of this thuggery despite his being – in Trump’s view – a senile commie who can’t put two sentences together. And Trump’s morose vision of America as a weak and doomed country that is disabled and dying is a unique strategy for motivating voters in the upcoming election. However, it fits in perfectly with his prior declarations of an “American Carnage,” with “blood soaked streets,” that he has gleefully thrilled his cult with.

But Trump was just getting started. In another post he asked, “Does anyone notice that the Election Rigging Biden Administration never goes after the Riggers.” It doesn’t take much imagination to know what he really wanted to say there. Then he expressed his confidence that he would be exonerated for all of the 91 felony charges against him because

“Massive information and 100% evidence will be made available during the Corrupt Trials started by our Political Opponent.”

One might wonder why Trump hasn’t produced any of that “massive information” in any of the court proceedings he has already had and lost. He’s had three years to clear his name, but for some unexplained reason has chosen not to do so. And he’s still going to withhold that “100% evidence” for several more months until his trials begin. That’s a position he has taken before…

SEE THIS: YEAH, RIGHT! Trump Promises an ‘Irrefutable,’ ‘Completely Exonerating’ Report on Election Fraud

Trump does have good reason to be freaking out now. Two of his former attorneys, Sidney Powell and Kenneth Chesebro, just pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges and election interference in Georgia. Ironically, of the 19 defendants in that RICO case, they are the two who requested speedy trials. Now both have opted out of going to trial entirely. And the terms of their plea deals require them to testify against their co-defendants, including Trump.

What’s more, Trump was just admonished in court for violating the order to refrain from intimidating or threatening court officials or witnesses. Sanctions for that violation could range from financial penalties to incarceration. And for someone whose psychological state has already been shaky, it’s not surprising that he is publicly wobbling more than ever. Even (satirical) Fox News has noticed…
