Putin Toady Trump Admits He Trusts Russia Over U.S. On Eve of Summit with Biden

In his latest statement from exile, Donald Trump has made it abundantly clear where his loyalty lies (with an emphasis on “lies”). And he simultaneously confirmed just how deeply consumed he is by the patently insane paranoia he’s been peddling for the past four years.

Trump’s new “Save America” (from democracy?) message is like a greatest hits collection of delusional days gone by. He appears to have crammed every psychotic concoction he could think of into one run-on rejection of reality. However, it is also a disturbing admission that he has greater trust for America’s enemies than for its leaders and defenders. What follows is an annotated examination of Trump’s profoundly anti-American screed:

“As President, I had a great and very productive meeting in Helsinki, Finland, with President Putin of Russia, Despite the belated Fake News portrayal of the meeting, the United States won much, including the respect of President Putin and Russia.”

The allegedly “productive meeting in Helsinki” was the one wherein Trump took Vladimir Putin’s side over that of U.S. intelligence with regard to Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election. And what Trump calls the “fake news portrayal of the meeting” was actually just the press reporting his remarks verbatim. Trump continued:

“Because of the phony Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, made-up and paid for by the Democrats and Crooked Hillary Clinton, the United States was put at a disadvantage – a disadvantage that was nevertheless overcome by me.”

What Trump is calling a “hoax” (one of many in Trump’s diseased brain) was documented by multiple U.S. intelligence agencies, as well as by Special Counsel (and lifelong Republican) Robert Mueller’s congressional testimony. If “the United States was put at a disadvantage,” it was solely due to Trump’s ignorance and purposeful anti-American intentions. And for no apparent reason, he’s reprising his old obsession with “crooked” Hillary Clinton. But here’s the kicker:

“As to who do I trust, they asked, Russia or our ‘Intelligence’ from the Obama era, meaning people like Comey, McCabe, the two lovers, Brennan, Clapper, and numerous other sleezebags, or Russia, the answer, after all that has been found out and written, should be obvious. Our government has rarely had such lowlifes as these working for it.”

That’s right. Just days before President Biden is set to meet with Putin, Trump is maligning the U.S. and boosting his Russian BFF. Trump obviously has no concern for our nation’s security, nor any respect for the norms of diplomacy. That includes the maxim that “politics end at the water’s edge,” so as not harm America’s interests when the President is overseas. And Trump closed with this bit of assholery:

“Good luck to Biden in dealing with President Putin – don’t fall asleep during the meeting, and please give him my warmest regards!”

Trump’s support for Russia at this critical point in time is consistent with that of his Fox News sycophants. On Wednesday Sean Hannity reached out to deliver a gift to Putin in the form of an infantile put down of Biden. Perhaps it was in appreciation for Putin’s defense of Trump and his Capitol Hill Insurrectionists. Either way, the only winner in this game is Russia where these attacks on Biden by fellow Americans is being received with glee:

Jen Psaki Slams the ‘Game of Thrones Drama’ of the Trump Administration

A lot has changed in the White House since the inauguration of Joe Biden. The sour atmosphere of animosity toward anything and everything that triggered Donald Trump’s sociopathic paranoia has subsided entirely. The normalizing of racism, misogyny,, and xenophobia was exiled along with Trump. The bitter partisanship emanating from the Oval Office has vacated the premises.

To be sure, many of those unpleasantries are still flourishing among the Trump dead-enders. But their point of origin is now largely confined to the treacherous Mar-a-Lago Trench. Meanwhile, the dignity of the presidency has been restored by a leader who has actual experience and competence. No longer is it the seething cauldron of jealousy, backstabbing, and fear, that Trump presided over with such gross ineptitude.

Biden’s press secretary, Jen Psaki, alluded to that when responding to a question at the Financial Times “Future of News” conference Thursday, She was the featured closing keynote speaker for the session on “Restoring trust in a divided nation.” As reported by The Hill…

“White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Thursday suggested that there were more leaks under former President Trump than there are now due to infighting among administration officials during the previous four years.

“‘There’s not a lot of ‘Game of Thrones’ drama here, which feels like it may be a bit of … a shift from the last four years,’ Psaki said when asked about the lack of leaks to the media at a conference hosted by the Financial Times.”

Psaki also noted that…

“The culture of this White House is very much a put your head down, get to work, do your thing, be a part of the team.”

Trump’s management style (such that it existed) was to foment distrust and paranoia in an environment that encouraged competition for Dear Leader’s favor. That included variably sucking up to and/or sabotaging colleagues, among whom were members of Trump’s family. That’s partly why there was so much turn over in the Trump administration, and why so many of his former appointees were so openly dismissive of him – vice versa.

The “Game of Thrones” simile could not be more apt. There was a constant state of war in the Trump White House. It produced an unprecedented tell-all book while he was still in office by an author identified only as “Anonymous” (later to be revealed as Miles Taylor, chief of staff to Trump’s Secretary of Homeland Security). And when Bob Woodward’s book about Trump, FEAR!, was released, Trump’s delusional response was to rush to Fox News for a softball interview wherein he hysterically claimed that…

“We have a lot of love in the administration, and the White House is truly as you would say, a well-oiled machine – it is working so well.”

Really? Many of Trump’s senior staff and close associates are reported to have called him “an idiot,” “a moron,” “stupid,” “dumb,” and more demeaning, but accurate epithets. And he vengefully returned the insults. If this is his idea of a “well-oiled machine,” what on Earth would a squeaky one look like? The only problem with Psaki’s “Game of Thrones” reference is that the harm Trump has – and is – causing is not a game.

Russian Agent? Sean Hannity’s Infantile, Anti-American Attacks on Biden are a Gift to Putin

The relentless – and mostly impotent – attacks on President Biden by Fox News have escalated steadily ever since his inauguration. But they are not merely petulant political broadsides by sore losers. They are also benefiting America’s enemies at a time when our domestic institutions are uncommonly fragile due to Donald Trump and his Republican confederates’ assault on democracy.

In an effort to maintain his position as Fox’s Senior Trump-fluffer, Sean Hannity is ratcheting up his rancid rhetoric. On Wednesday night he launched into an anti-Biden tirade that can only be characterized as pro-Russian propaganda (video below, if you can stomach it). Hannity began with his now tediously routine, and utterly infantile, insults aimed at Biden’s mental acuity (a debate the American people ended long ago):

“According to our Commander-in-Chief, the greatest threat to our service men and women, it’s not China, it’s not Russia, it’s not Iran and North Korea, it’s not radical Islamic terrorists, it’s not nuclear war. No, according to President “sippy cup Joe” the greatest threat to our military is global warming, and he was not joking. Take a look.”

Hannity’s grade-school “sippy cup” taunt has become a fixture on his clown show, despite his having been brutally humiliated for prior references to it. He followed up his baby talk with a video clip of Biden rationally and responsibly relating the climate change warnings of Pentagon officials:

“We must all commit to an ambitious climate action if we’re going to prevent the worst impact of climate change, limiting global warming to no more than 1.5 degrees Celsius. We need the global transition to clean energy technology.

“You know, when I was over in the Tank [Joint Chiefs of Staff conference room] in the Pentagon, when I was first elected Vice-President with President Obama, the military sat us down to let us knw what the the greatest threats facing America were. The greatest physical threats. This is not a joke. You know what the Joint Chiefs told us the greatest threat facing America was? Global warming.”

This isn’t a new concept. Climate change was cited as a serious threat to American national security by Donald Trump’s secretary of defense, Jim Mattis, George W. Bush’s secretary of defense, Don Rumsfeld, and by at least four other defense secretaries of both parties. Hannity is either too stupid to know this, or is deliberately ignoring it. So he just rambled on saying…

“Okay. In just a few days that guy will sit down with the hostile actor with the hostile regime of Russia, Vladimir Putin. You know, the country that just hacked our energy and our beef industries, and I fear that Vladimir will eat Joe’s lunch. Embarrass us all. That is not good for this country. It is not good for the world. And Vladimir will see what we all see. That Joe Biden is frail, weak, and a cognitive mess who can do little more than read far-left talking points on a TelePrompTer. And he actually struggles to do that.

What isn’t good for the country or the world is taking Putin’s side, and disparaging America’s President, just days before a crucial summit meeting (and this isn’t the first time). Hannity is obviously in the service of his master, Vladimir Putin, with his hateful demeaning of Biden. This vile screed couldn’t be more helpful to Russian interests if the Politburo had written it themselves. And what ever happened to the maxim that “politics end at the water’s edge,” meaning that criticisms of the President pause when he or she is overseas on the nation’s business?

Clearly Hannity isn’t interested in what’s good for the country. He is only interested in maligning Biden, no matter how detrimental it is to American interests. And Fox News has made it clear that they stand firmly behind Hannity’s treasonous rants. This sort of strident anti-Americanism is riddled throughout the day on Fox News programs. And it should make it abundantly clear to every decent citizen what we’re up against.

Fox News Host On Civil Rights Movement: ‘We’ve Seen the Enemy and It’s White People’

Fox News suffered a profound loss when Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump for the presidency. And despite the messianic beliefs held by Trump and his cult disciples that he actually won and that his political resurrection is imminent, he remains an embarrassingly irrelevant and pathetic apostle of pity and lies.

This leaves Fox News in the desperate position of having to manufacture controversies that might satiate the voracious appetites of their scandal-starved audience. They’ve already run through preposterous stories involving Dr. Seuss and Mr. Potato Head. they’ve tried to dampen Biden’s broad based popularity with nonsense like whether or not he wears a face mask, or blaming him for a sauce shortage at Chick-fil-A, or mocking the romance in his marriage. All to no avail.

Among the contrivances at Fox News has been a relentless assault on the academic study of Critical Race Theory, which is defined as an “attempt to understand how victims of systemic racism are affected by cultural perceptions of race.” Not that anyone on Fox News could define it – or cares. They are just exploiting it to trigger the racist tendencies of their viewers. And that mission led to a segment on Wednesday’s episode of Fox and Friends where co-host Brian Kilmeade launched into a rancid rant against the Civil Rights movement (video below). He began by demanding credit for white folks having made some progress with their bigotry:

“They’re not acknowledging any improvement in our culture, and the gains made, and how we are more equal, even despite our faults, than any other country.”

Congratulations Brian, You and yours aren’t shackling Black people and forcing them to work for nothing anymore. That’s hardly something to brag about when there is still a significant amount of prejudice in America with regard to education, jobs, and housing. And there’s also that little matter of how Black men and women – and children – keep getting killed by police officers. But don’t let me interrupt. Please continue:

“The other thing is, they’re not only trying to raise up minorities and trying to make sure the playing field is even, they’re trying to take down the white culture. And this generation of Americans wondered why aren’t we all Americans? Why are we all being marginalized on a daily basis on our gender, our sexuality, and the color of our skin? And it’s not even subtle. It is actually out there. It is written in black and white.”

Just as we always thought. It’s white people who are the victims of culture take-downs and marginalization. It’s a good thing that we have Fox News and Kilmeade to remind us of this. But he still wasn’t finished:

“This is the big difference between other civil rights movements in our past. One, the first big one was a war. The second big one we saw in the streets, especially in the South. And this one we’re seeing in the classroom. And we’ve seen the enemy and it’s white people.”

WTHF? Kilmeade is now asserting that today’s Civil Rights movement has declared war on white people. That’s because he sees the struggle for equality as a fight to deprive the white population of the privilege that they believe is their divine right. Any progress toward leveling the playing field means taking away from whites the advantages that have been accustomed to for generations.

What’s especially nauseating about this is that Kilmeade isn’t the least bit shy about saying all of this out loud on his nationally broadcast television program. And his co-hosts Steve Doocy and Ainsley Earhardt nod along in complete agreement.

That’s how far down the Mariana Trench of racism that Fox News has descended. And Trump has made it acceptable to unapologetically parade prejudice around in Right-Wing World. But given the realities of demographics, they will soon be toppled from their hilltop. Deep down they know that, and that’s why they’re so afraid.

Deranged Trump Slams Facebook Over ‘Phony Lockboxes’ Full of Biden Votes

Sunday marked five months since the Trump Insurrection on Capitol Hill. The riots incited by the twice-impeached, former reality TV game show host were triggered by his relentless harping on the “Big Lie” that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him. And he’s not only still doing it, he’s getting worse.

On Monday morning Trump visited the Fox Business Network to chat with one of his most sycophantic supporters in the Fox News world, Stuart Varney (video below). The discussion rambled into the recent announcement by Facebook that Trump’s account would be suspended for two years due to his repeated postings of inflammatory lies and disinformation. That, of course, was seen as censorship by Trump, whose reaction was typically overblown. Varney was sympathetic asking…

Varney: Why do you think they’re doing this?
Trump: Because my voice is very strong. My voice is very powerful. I got 75 million votes, which is more than any sitting president ever got. I won the election but they cheated. And by the way, Facebook and Zuckerberg with $500 million worth of phony lockboxes that he put on. some of them had 96% Biden votes. 96%. They were like just dumping ballots, it was a phony deal. And let’s see how that all turns out. But there’s a lot of litigation coming. And what they did was a disgrace.

Trump left out that his voice is dishonest and dangerous. He also continues to brag about getting 75 million votes (actually it was closer to 74 million), which was seven million fewer votes than President Joe Biden, the guy who beat him. And once again, Trump repeats the “Big Lie” that “I won the election but they cheated.” He has still never been able to provide any evidence of voting irregularities, and has lost more than sixty court cases trying to do so.

Perhaps the most bizarre allegations in this ass-kissing “interview” were Trump’s charges that Facebook’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg bought “$500 million worth of phony lockboxes” that contained a whopping 96% vote tally for Biden. As usual, Trump offered no proof for this assertion, and Varney didn’t ask for any.

What Trump was likely referring to was a report that Zuckerberg had donated $350 million (not Trump’s inflated figure of $500 million) to a non-profit group that provided grants to municipalities to help them manage their election processes. The organization was non-partisan awarded grants without regard to any political affiliation. According to American Public Media’s investigative journalism arm APM Reports…

“After Congress failed to aid local election offices, a nonprofit provided critical funds — including $350 million from Mark Zuckerberg — that paid for staff, ballot-scanning machines, protective gear, and rental space that helped the presidential election run surprisingly smoothly.”

However, right from the start Trump and his confederates tried to malign the group and their grants:

“In the weeks since the election, allies of President Trump have included the Center for Tech and Civic Life grants in their voter fraud conspiracy theories. They have challenged the legality and neutrality of the grants, claiming that the funding was aimed at boosting Democratic turnout. But an APM Reports analysis of voter registration and voter turnout in three of the five key swing states shows the grant funding had no clear impact on who turned out to vote.” […]

“Trump allies filed similar litigation in at least nine states to stop the grant funding. And in every instance, the judges rejected the claims.”

Trump closed his bonkers rant by lashing out Facebook – or Biden or Democrats or aliens – it’s actually hard to tell. He babbled that…

“They are radical left crazy people and they are destroying our country. And they don’t want to hear a sane voice. And you know I was one of the top by far on Twitter, and Zuckerberg said top on Facebook. […] They’re a disgrace to our country. They don’t have free speech. We don’t have free speech anymore.”

Talk about projection. There has never been a more radical, crazy, insane voice in American politics than Trump. He has always been a disgrace to the country. And his asinine assertion that “We don’t have free speech anymore,” that he’s making during an appearance on a national cable TV network, is further evidence of his cognitive decline.

Jen Psaki: The White House Briefing Room Can’t ‘Become a Forum for Propaganda’

President Biden’s Press Secretary, Jen Psaki, was interviewed Sunday on CNN’s Reliable Sources by Brian Stelter. It proved to be another opportunity for her to demonstrate her intelligence, grace, and commitment to candidly informing the American people about the President’s thinking and his agenda for the country.

Not surprisingly, the right-wing mediasphere launched into their knee-jerk condemnation of both Psaki and Stelter. They either didn’t understand what they were talking about or deliberately distorted it to create a false and negative impression. Probably the latter if their past behavior is any guide.

Much of the wingnuttery was obsessed with Stelter’s first question wherein he asked “What does the press get wrong when covering Biden’s agenda?” That was construed as a “softball” question, despite the fact that a media reporter asking a subject to critique the media is hardly playing softball. Stelter also grilled Psaki on why Biden doesn’t do more press conferences. But the rightist whiners must have tuned that out.

The conservative chorus of critics was fixated exclusively on finding fault with the interview. Fox News published an analysis on their website that featured only hard-core rightist reactions to the segment. They complained that Stelter didn’t ask Psaki about manufactured, right-wing “controversies” about Dr. Fauci or the alleged border crisis. That’s because this wasn’t a newsmaking interview. It was a discussion on a media-focused program about how the White House press team interacts with the media.

Aside from being too complicated an interview for conservative flacks to handle, it went pretty well. One of the most instructive moments was when Psaki addressed how she was portrayed in the media, and what she regards as her role.

Stelter: There’s a version on the liberal blogs, something that goes like this: Psaki smacks down, Psaki shuts down a questioner. It’s this narrative we’re seeing people celebrating for doing it. And yet that kind of reminds me of cable news and the way that cable news engages. I’m not sure it’s actually good for the country, even though it might be entertaining.
Psaki: Well look Brian, I think one, I’m not putting out those assessments. What I will tell you though is that I also have a responsibility not to allow the briefing room to become a forum for propaganda or a forum for pushing forward falsehoods or inaccurate information. […] I have a responsibility to the public to make sure they’re getting accurate information. and the premise of the questions that are propaganda pushing are not giving them inaccurate information.

Psaki clearly takes the job more seriously than Trump’s former press secretary (and current Fox News host), Kayleigh McEnany, who seemed to be more interested in scoring fashion shoots. And Psaki’s remarks on Sunday were consistent with those expressed by the White House shortly after Biden’s inauguration

“White House officials promise a sea change from how the Trump White House interacted with the press. Biden’s team plans to lay out clear criteria for qualifying for a so-called ‘hard pass’ to access the grounds in consultation with the WHCA, officials told POLITICO. If current passholders in the media continue to meet the criteria determined together with the correspondents’ association, they will continue to have hard passes. […] But Biden’s aides also promised not to allow outlets to use the briefings to spread baseless conspiracies. […]

“Organizations or individuals who traffic in conspiracy theories, propaganda and lies to spread disinformation will not be tolerated, and we’ll work with the WHCA to decide how to handle those instances moving forward.”

If the White House were to strictly impose those standards, Fox News wouldn’t be granted a press pass at all. Of Course, that’s not likely to happen. But at least they recognize the importance of downplaying propaganda and focusing on the informational needs of the American public. And they aren’t maligning the press in Stalinist terms as “the enemy of the people.” That’s a profound improvement over the hostility and childishness of the Trump years.

Russian Agent? Sean Hannity Tries to Sabotage Biden Prior to Summit with Putin

Fox News has spent the last twenty-five years pretending to be a “news” network, while posing as a pseudo-patriotic cheerleader for the ultra-rightist agenda it promotes. In reality they have been purveyors of totalitarian style propaganda, while fomenting hostility, division, and a seething antipathy toward the free press.

With the emergence of Donald Trump, Fox News added cult worship to their mission of malicious media. It was a natural evolution for a network whose programs were hosted by preachy politi-vangelists who delivered conservative sermons to their cable disciples.

Leading the parade of pastoral pundits is Fox’s Senior Trump-Fluffer, Sean Hannity. And on Wednesday night he revealed just how committed he is to America’s enemies. During a segment that discussed the upcoming summit between President Joe Biden and Russian’s Vladimir Putin, Hannity thought it would be a good idea to undermine the integrity of the United States and to give Putin a boost prior to the conference. So in his most demeaning and infantile manner, Hannity said…

“Mr. President, this might be something to bring up at your big June 16th summit when Vladimir schools you and sees what a cognitive mess you are. And maybe you get a chance to be extra – maybe you should just take the night off. Maybe not a good idea for you to go. Don’t forget, by the way, as we move forward with this, your warm milky and sippy cup.”

So on the eve of a historic summit with profound consequences for the United States, Hannity serves the interests of our Russian adversaries by belittling our President. He conveys to Putin the demonstrably false notion that Biden is cognitively deficient and emotionally handicapped. Hannity is, in effect, cheering on Putin to prevail in the talks that will cover such critical matters as nuclear proliferation, cyber-terrorism, human rights, and military conflicts in Ukraine, the Middle East, and Asia.

Now that Hannity has taken Russia’s side, it will be easier for Putin to evade the concerns that the U.S. hopes to address. This makes Biden’s job more difficult because he has to contend with opposition from both Putin and the treasonous Russophiles on Fox News. Hannity should consider adding a hammer and sickle to his show’s logo.

This isn’t the first time that Hannity has sought to portray Biden as mentally unfit. He recently posted this infantile insult on Twitter, which earned him an avalanche of well-deserved mockery:

Hannity has been trying for months, with no success whatsoever, to peddle his childish slander. But the American people, according to a Fox News poll, have already concluded that it’s Donald Trump who is too mentally unsound to serve. Meanwhile, Biden’s favorability continues to surge. Which leaves Hannity and Fox News to resort to pitifully transparent postings of deceptively edited videos.

Just like their Dear Leader Trump, Fox News has to rely on lying and cheating in order to claim any sort of “victory.” But when they actually start rooting for the enemy, and against the best interests of America, they can no longer pretend to be patriots. But then they gave up on that when they pledged their support for the insurrectionist brigades whose failed coup attempt on Trump’s behalf unmasked their traitorous intentions.

Fox News Seeks to Criminalize Fact-Checking to Preserve Their ‘Right’ to Lie

It’s official! Fox News is declaring war on reality. They are so consumed with “alternative facts“ and constructing phony scenarios to advance their ultra-rightist agenda that they have launched an all-out assault on {gasp} fact-checkers. Because the greatest threat to a dedicated purveyor of propaganda is the truth that is embedded in facts.

To a network like Fox News, facts are subversive agents of credible journalism. So in an effort to shield themselves from the embarrassment of being exposed to honesty, Fox has taken an aggressive stance against it. An op-ed that was published on their website asserts that fact-checkers are dangerous because “they have the power to censor what journalism Americans see and consume unilaterally.” Of course, a fact-check would reveal that that isn’t true. Fact-checkers merely hold the media accountable for mistakes and/or deliberate lies. The primary argument made in the article is that…

“Nobody is checking the fact checkers, and it is time that changed. It’s time for government to regulate the fact checking industry. […] We cannot be slaves to orthodoxy if that means Americans are subject not only to lies, but also the censorship of the truth.”

Lying and censoring the truth are long-time components of the Fox News mission statement. So naturally, the notoriously conservative pundits at Fox News, who abhor government regulations, are now advocating for “government to regulate the fact checking industry.” Even worse, they are exempting fact-checkers from protection by the First Amendment. While generously conceding that the Constitution shields the press, the article claims that “third party independent fact checkers are another story entirely.” Really? Most journalists would regard fact-checkers as members of the press.

Among the complaints outlined in the column is the provably false assertion that fact-checking “all occur[s] in one direction, towards the censorship of conservative ideas.” The author doesn’t offer any support for that claim and studies show that the opposite is true. But even if the article was right, it’s only because conservatives are known to be more dismissive of the truth. Their political and ideological leader, Donald Trump, has been documented telling more than 40,000 lies during his term in office. The occurrence of presidential misstatements has declined 85% in the first 100 days of President Biden’s term. Nevertheless, Fox News favors the sledgehammer of government regulation to pound down the fact-checkers. The article highlighted this solution to the imaginary problem:

“A new bill before the Michigan House of Representatives is a move in the right direction. The bill would require fact checkers to register with the government and carry insurance to cover payment to those who suffer financial damages as a result of a bogus fact check.”

Seriously? These are the same ideologues who staunchly oppose registering assault weapons and requiring gun manufacturers to carry insurance to cover those who suffer injury or death. Now they can’t wait for the the regulators to impose an entirely unconstitutional imposition on the press.

Another fundamental absurdity in the article is the author’s constraints on what constitutes a fact. If fact-checkers don’t adhere to his definitions then “they are no longer fact checking and should not be allowed to claim the service they are selling is doing so.”

Fine. Then can we also apply that logic to journalism, and if it doesn’t adhere to the truth then they couldn’t claim to be “news”? If so, Fox would have to drop “News” from their name (a good idea in any case). And to put a cherry on top of it, the article closed with this bit totalitarianism…

“There is nothing special about fact checkers that protects them from regulations requiring them to be fair and honest in their dealings. Those that refuse to operate objectively should be punished for misrepresenting their service.”

Meanwhile, Republicans are already pursuing this censorious agenda. Florida governor Ron DeSantis just signed a bill to punish social media firms (Facebook, Twitter, etc) that ban users who violate their terms of service. That’s the sort of control that conservatives seek over free press and thought.

And all the while they are disseminating blatant lies about election fraud (particularly Trump’s Big Lie), the Capitol Hill insurrection, and the COVID-19 “hoax.”. So it’s no wonder that they are desperate to shut down the fact-checkers. They’re tired of being held to standards of truthfulness that step on their “right” to deceive their dimwitted cult followers.

Walking Dead Voters: Trump’s Delusional ‘Massive Numbers of Dead People’ Voting Rant

The Mental Case of Mar-a-Lago is melting down again. Donald Trump isn’t satisfied with just being an impotent loser. He isn’t content with having incited a violent insurrection on Capitol Hill. Nope. Trump’s ambitions are far more demented than that.

With both federal and state prosecutors bearing down on Trump’s crime sprees, and President Biden taunting him with his surging popularity, the former reality TV game show host is suffering a severe escalation of his psychotic breakdown. On Thursday Trump took to his pitifully lame blog to further propagate the “Big Lie” that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him. And his “Breaking News” was emblematic of his sickness:

“Breaking News! Massive numbers of dead people ‘voted’ in the 2020 Presidential Election, far greater than anyone has known or seen before. Some of these ‘dead people’ even applied for an application to vote. This is just one of the many fraudulent aspects of the 2020 Presidential Election. People are just now beginning to understand!”

Unfortunately for Trump, what people are beginning to understand is just how acutely debilitated the twice-impeached washout has become. His posting doesn’t cite any source for the assertion that “Massive numbers of dead people ‘voted'” because there isn’t any evidence of it in the real world. Although there was a single incident wherein a voter cast a ballot for Trump in his dead mother’s name. But that hardly represents a rash of voter fraud that is “far greater than anyone has known or seen before.”

While Trump is whining about his delusional massive number of dead voters, he is oblivious to the massive margin of his electoral defeat (more than 7,000,000). He refuses to acknowledge the massive number of lies he’s told (more than 40,000). And worst of all, he’s still ignoring the massive number of dead Americans (nearly 600,000) due to his negligent and incompetent mismanagement of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Just like Bruce Willis in “The Sixth Sense,” (“I see dead voters?”), Trump doesn’t realize that it’s his political life that is deceased. And if he isn’t stopped, his departure from reality is likely to result in more dead Americans at the hands of his treasonous confederates. Matt Gaetz (R-QAnon) is already issuing threats, saying that “We have a 2nd Amendment in this country, and I think we have an obligation to use it.”

Hannity’s Infantile Anti-Biden Tweet Draws a Scorching Backlash Against Trump

No one has ever accused Sean Hannity of being an intellectual giant. And for good reason. He is notoriously uninformed and illogical. His greatest asset as a television pundit is his ability to lie without shame and an inexhaustible supply of arrogance.

On Monday evening Hannity thought he was struck with a brilliant inspiration for a tweet to attack President Biden. It elaborated on a theme that Hannity has been trying to popularize for months, with no success whatsoever. Despite his repeated failures, Hannity’s contention that Biden is mentally deficient is contradicted every time Biden speaks publicly. And the American people (according to a Fox News poll!) have already concluded that it’s Donald Trump who is too mentally unsound to serve.

Undaunted, Hannity tweeted this pathetic bit of childishness…

Seriously? This is the level of political discourse provided by the host of a program that Fox News presents with pride every night in primetime? And ironically this comes from someone who has his own peculiar bedtime rituals. Hannity was known to have nighty-night calls with Trump every night after his show.

In all fairness, it isn’t actually any worse than the rest of Fox’s lineup (i.e. Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, and the “Curvy Couch” potatoes of Fox and Friends). But the one redeeming factor is that this sort of idiocy is so easy to rebut. And Twitter was ready and willing to take on that duty:
