DELUSIONAL: Trump Wants China to Pay $10 Trillion for COVID Damages that He Caused

The former reality TV game show host and failed blogger, Donald Trump, is disgorging new, and typically incoherent, press releases. These commentaries are harder to find now that he has been banished from Twitter and other social media for lying, and he has “canceled” his own much ballyhooed “communications platform.”

In his latest public whining, Trump is making absurd statements about the coronavirus pandemic that he so disastrously mismanaged. He wrote that…

“Now everyone, even the so-called ‘enemy,’ are beginning to say that President Trump was right about the China Virus coming from the Wuhan Lab. The correspondence between Dr. Fauci and China speaks too loudly for anyone to ignore. China should pay Ten Trillion Dollars to America, and the World, for the death and destruction they have caused!”

Let’s break that down, shall we?

First of all…
It is patently false that “everyone” is saying that “Trump was right.” The only people saying that with a straight face are the same cult disciples who have been worshiping at the alter of Trump all along. He was not, is not, and will likely never be, right about the coronavirus or anything else.

Secondly…
Trump did not say that the COVID -19 came from “the Wuhan lab.” He often said that it came from Wuhan, but his most frequent comments dismissed it as nothing more than a common flu that would soon disappear by magic. In fact, Trump was effusively praising China and its president Xi Jinping. For instance…

China has been working very hard to contain the Coronavirus. The United States greatly appreciates their efforts and transparency. It will all work out well. In particular, on behalf of the American People, I want to thank President Xi!

…and…

[President Xi] will be successful, especially as the weather starts to warm & the virus hopefully becomes weaker, and then gone. Great discipline is taking place in China, as President Xi strongly leads what will be a very successful operation. We are working closely with China to help!”

As late as February 29, 2020, Trump was still impressed that “China seems to be making tremendous progress. Their numbers are way down.” And in his own remarks, Trump relentlessly downplayed the known dangers of the virus:

  • “We have it very much under control in this country.”
  • “It’s going to be just fine.”
  • “It’s one person coming in from China.”
  • “We’re doing a great job with it.”
  • “It’s going to have a very good ending for us.”
  • “We’re in great shape.”
  • “We have 12 cases – 11 cases, and many of them are in good shape now.”
  • “Just stay calm. It will go away.”
  • “You have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero.”
  • “It’s going to disappear. One day it’s like a miracle — it will disappear.”

Most of those remarks were made when Trump already knew they were lies. He revealed in tape recorded comments to Bob Woodward – for his book RAGE! – that he knew just how dangerous the virus was, saying that…

“You just breathe the air and that’s how it’s passed. And so that’s a very tricky one. That’s a very delicate one. It’s also more deadly than even your strenuous flus. This is deadly stuff. […] I wanted to always play it down. I still like playing it down.”

Thirdly…
There is nothing controversial in the correspondence recently released between Dr. Fauci and China. It is simply being exploited by dishonest purveyors of right-wing propaganda who are trying to manufacture controversy where none exists.

Finally…
Trump’s demand that “China should pay Ten Trillion Dollars to America” is just the latest manifestation of his utter impotence, since he has no authority to issue such commands. Maybe he could get Mexico to pay for it.

More to the point, even if the virus had escaped from a Chinese lab, the responsibility for the “death and destruction” in America falls to Trump, his Republican Party, and Fox News. It was Trump’s negligence, incompetence, and deliberate malfeasance that was most responsible for the spread of the Pandemic in the U.S.

Trump was aided by a glassy-eyed Republican Party that devoured everything their Dear Leader excreted. And Fox News played its role as Trump’s Ministry of Disinformation. They obediently regurgitated Trump’s dismissal of the pandemic and opposed any common sense measures to mitigate it.

Other than that, Trump’s statement was still pitifully stupid and self-serving. As usual.

Russian Agent? Sean Hannity Tries to Sabotage Biden Prior to Summit with Putin

Fox News has spent the last twenty-five years pretending to be a “news” network, while posing as a pseudo-patriotic cheerleader for the ultra-rightist agenda it promotes. In reality they have been purveyors of totalitarian style propaganda, while fomenting hostility, division, and a seething antipathy toward the free press.

With the emergence of Donald Trump, Fox News added cult worship to their mission of malicious media. It was a natural evolution for a network whose programs were hosted by preachy politi-vangelists who delivered conservative sermons to their cable disciples.

Leading the parade of pastoral pundits is Fox’s Senior Trump-Fluffer, Sean Hannity. And on Wednesday night he revealed just how committed he is to America’s enemies. During a segment that discussed the upcoming summit between President Joe Biden and Russian’s Vladimir Putin, Hannity thought it would be a good idea to undermine the integrity of the United States and to give Putin a boost prior to the conference. So in his most demeaning and infantile manner, Hannity said…

“Mr. President, this might be something to bring up at your big June 16th summit when Vladimir schools you and sees what a cognitive mess you are. And maybe you get a chance to be extra – maybe you should just take the night off. Maybe not a good idea for you to go. Don’t forget, by the way, as we move forward with this, your warm milky and sippy cup.”

So on the eve of a historic summit with profound consequences for the United States, Hannity serves the interests of our Russian adversaries by belittling our President. He conveys to Putin the demonstrably false notion that Biden is cognitively deficient and emotionally handicapped. Hannity is, in effect, cheering on Putin to prevail in the talks that will cover such critical matters as nuclear proliferation, cyber-terrorism, human rights, and military conflicts in Ukraine, the Middle East, and Asia.

Now that Hannity has taken Russia’s side, it will be easier for Putin to evade the concerns that the U.S. hopes to address. This makes Biden’s job more difficult because he has to contend with opposition from both Putin and the treasonous Russophiles on Fox News. Hannity should consider adding a hammer and sickle to his show’s logo.

This isn’t the first time that Hannity has sought to portray Biden as mentally unfit. He recently posted this infantile insult on Twitter, which earned him an avalanche of well-deserved mockery:

Hannity has been trying for months, with no success whatsoever, to peddle his childish slander. But the American people, according to a Fox News poll, have already concluded that it’s Donald Trump who is too mentally unsound to serve. Meanwhile, Biden’s favorability continues to surge. Which leaves Hannity and Fox News to resort to pitifully transparent postings of deceptively edited videos.

Just like their Dear Leader Trump, Fox News has to rely on lying and cheating in order to claim any sort of “victory.” But when they actually start rooting for the enemy, and against the best interests of America, they can no longer pretend to be patriots. But then they gave up on that when they pledged their support for the insurrectionist brigades whose failed coup attempt on Trump’s behalf unmasked their traitorous intentions.

Tucker Carlson: Proof of Vaccination and Jim Crow Laws are Exactly the Same Thing

The ability of Fox News hacks to conflate wildly dissimilar subjects is pretty astonishing. And no one is more adept at this than Fox’s Senior White Nationalist, Tucker Carlson. His arguments on any subject are generally devoid of reason and crammed with racial animus. But on his Wednesday evening Hour of Hate he may have outdone himself.

Carlson has been an ardent opponent of COVID-19 vaccinations for months. He railed against them as fake and ineffective. He spread conspiracy theories asserting that they don’t work and “they” aren’t telling you. He even ordered his dimwitted viewers to harass mask wearers and file false police reports.

Now Carlson is combining his two favorite tirades: Anti-vaccine hysteria and racism (video below). The segment featured a chyron that read conspiratorially, “This is About Finding Out Who Dissents.” And in a manically obtuse bit of blathering, Carlson bellowed that…

“Everybody agrees that segregation was the worst thing this country ever did. Forcing certain categories of citizens into separate, lesser accommodations, barring them from public places, treating them like lepers or untouchables, that was completely immoral and wrong. We were told that a lot and most of us strongly agreed. It was wrong.”

So far, so good. Never mind that Carlson himself never agreed to the proposition he’s making here. And while segregation was awful, there are arguably worse things that this country has done. For instance, slavery, Hiroshima, and more recently, Trump’s negligent and incompetent mismanagement of the coronavirus, resulting in the deaths of more than half a million Americans. But Carlson was just getting started…

“So imagine our confusion today looking out across the country. The very same people, literally the very same, who just the other day told us that segregation was immoral, are now enforcing segregation. Should we be surprised? Probably not, but we still are.”

As usual, Carlson doesn’t identify the “very same people” he’s referring to. He’s also lying that anyone is “enforcing segregation,” as the term is commonly understood. Using Carlson’s alleged logic, quarantining Ebola victims is a form of bigoted segregation. He continued…

“Just this morning the New York Times informed us that unless you can prove that you’ve taken the injection that the Democratic Party demands that you take, you are no longer permitted in bars, comedy clubs, even some dance competitions, in the state of New York. You’re too dirty to appear in public. You’re not welcome near normal people.”

Naturally, Carlson is politicizing this matter by falsely asserting that the Democratic Party is “demanding” vaccinations. To be sure, Democrats have been far more responsible about measures to mitigate the spread of a deadly pandemic. But many of the more sensible Republicans have advocated getting the shot. Even Carlson’s boss Rupert Murdoch bragged about getting vaccinated. It isn’t about people being “dirty” or “normal,” It’s about people being smart and having concern for others. But he still wasn’t finished. Carlson whined that attending sporting events would mean that…

“…you will be sitting in your own roped off section, marinating in your shame with the other disobedient bad people. Medical Jim Crow has come to America. We still have water fountains. The unvaccinated would have separate ones.”

And there you have it. The fabled conflation of vaccine disinformation and outright racism. Carlson thinks that protecting people from a very real virus that is killing people is equivalent to the forced suppression of civil liberties based on skin color. In one fell swoop Carlson has diminished both the deadly consequences of the COVID pandemic and the overt bigotry of Jim Crow laws. And this is an achievement that you can rest assured he is proud of. It’s the sort of nauseating bullpucky that made him the number one show on Fox News. Which says a lot about Fox News – and it’s audience.

Trump’s Latest Failure: His Pathetic Blog Shuts Down in Less than a Month

America’s Biggest Loser has notched another public failure and humiliation. Donald Trump’s much ballyhooed new “communications platform” has shut down permanently. This will not come as a surprise to anyone who actually read any of the bizarre and delusional musings posted by the twice-impeached, former reality TV game show host.

If you visit Trump’s blog now you will be redirected to a page where you can sign up for Trump alerts, which apparently nobody wanted. The page with posts from “The Desk of Donald Trump” has been completely removed. Although some of his postings are still available on what he calls a “news” page.

There was no announcement from the Trump camp that the blog would be discontinued. Which is typical of a malignant narcissist, and soggy snowflake, who still hasn’t been able to accept that he decisively lost the presidential election to Joe Biden. And now his well-deserved unpopularity has been affirmed. According to the Washington Post Trump canceled himself “because he didn’t like that this platform was being mocked and had so few readers.”

Trump apologists are already claiming that the blog was a temporary measure until he launched his own social media platform that would compete with Twitter and Facebook. But when the blog was announced it was heralded by Fox News in much grander terms:

“Former President Trump on Tuesday launched a communications platform, which will eventually give him the ability to communicate directly with his followers, after months of being banned from sites like Twitter and Facebook. […] The space will allow Trump to post comments, images, and videos.”

However, the blog never managed to draw much traffic. Even though Trump bragged that it was superior to Twitter and had millions of readers. That’s only if you count in Trumpian where “massive numbers of dead people ‘voted’” in the 2020, and “thousands and thousands of boats paraded in Jupiter.”

Watch Fox News Hack Smear Doctors, Teachers, and Soldiers in Less than 30 Seconds

It must be be difficult keeping up with the demands of an audience that hungers for ever more grotesque misrepresentations of reality. But never underestimate the ability of Fox News to more than satisfy the cravings of the dystopia-loving Trump cultists who make up the bulk of their viewers.

Topping the charts at Fox News is their Senior White Nationalist, Tucker Carlson. He has supplanted Trump’s BFF (Bootlicking Fanboy Forever), Sean Hannity, as the network’s biggest draw. Which only proves that the more you embrace racism, and disseminate COVID conspiracy theories, and support violent, anti-American insurrectionists, the better your prospects for success on Fox News.

On Monday Carlson presented a special Memorial Day edition of his Hatefest Hour. And he managed to cram a surprising quantity of kook sauce into his recipe for rancid right-wing radicalism. He babbled a plaintive lament for a past wherein his white, European forefathers were still firmly in charge:

“So much has changed in the United States in the last year that it’s hard to keep track of it all. Our public health experts have been exposed as frauds, as incompetent and dishonest. Our schools are now openly teaching racism to our children. Our military at times does not seem interested in protecting the country. These are big changes. They have real ramifications. Most newspapers don’t want to cover these stories, the real stories. They occupy themselves with frivolities. But we do want to cover them. We think it’s our duty.”

Literally none of that rant is true. But you have to give Carlson credit for maligning doctors, teachers, and soldiers in one brief excretion of unadulterated bullpucky. Public health experts like Dr. Anthony Fauci are among the most respected people in the country. He’s polling at 60% favorable, along with Biden at 58%. Meanwhile, Trump is wallowing at his usual and dismal 37%.

Carlson doesn’t offer any proof for his claim that schools are “openly teaching racism.” He must be thinking about himself, because he spends more time on teaching his viewers to be racist than on any other subject. And he has been urging his audience to take their children out of schools, presumably to make sure they remain stupid enough to watch his show and the rest of the Fox lineup.

However, the most offensive part of Carlson’s tirade is his charge that “our military at times does not seem interested in protecting the country.” He has the gall to insult the women and men, who are putting their lives on the line to protect the nation, on Memorial Day. And once again, he doesn’t bother to support that heinous comment with anything resembling a fact. However, he has advocated stockpiling AR-15s to use against our soldiers. Just like Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-QAnon) and Trump’s former National Security Advisor, Mike Flynn, Carlson views the American government as the enemy.

These are the sort of stories that Carlson considers it his “duty” to cover. Not frivolities like whether President Biden wore a face mask, or how Vice-President Harris shakes hands, or a gay Lego set. Those were all “non-frivolous” stories covered by Fox News. And let’s not forget Carlson’s own coverage of the allegedly sham marriage of Joe and Jill Biden. With stories like these, Tucker and Fox News are clearly leading the way on journalism that’s meaningful and pertinent to the American people.

Trump Imagines ‘Thousands and Thousands of Boats’ Worshiping Him on Memorial Day

This Memorial Day has suffered more than its share of political debasement by the pseudo-patriots at Fox News and other right-wing media exploitation factories. For them the day isn’t about remembering America’s fallen heroes. They see it only as an opportunity to malign their ideological foes.

The compulsion to take advantage of this holiday was evident Sunday when Fox News criticized Vice-President Kamala Harris for wishing everyone well on the long weekend. The Fox crowd was appalled that Harris allegedly demeaned this otherwise somber day of remembrance as just a chance to enjoy some time with family and friends. Which is, of course, what just about everyone does. Twenty minutes later Fox posted a tweet about how to make holiday cocktails. So hypocrisy is still alive and well at Fox News.

On Monday Trump took his turn at posting his thoughts on Memorial Day. Since he’s been banished from Twitter, he posted a comment on his pitifully lame blog He giggled like like a school child that…

“Wow! I hear they have thousands and thousands of boats parading in Jupiter, despite the fact that they tried to cancel us. Everyone is having an incredible time. On this day, we especially appreciate everyone who served and fought for our great Country. I love you all!”

First of all, Trump is lauding these MAGA boaters for “having an incredible time,” which according to the Fox dictum is verboten. And all of the boats are flying Trump flags (many of which are desecrating the American flag), but none of them say anything to commemorate Memorial Day. More to the point, Trump, in his narcissistic fog, is imagining “thousands and thousands of boats” when video of the affair shows that there are at best a couple of dozen.

The small number of MAGA boaters are reminiscent of Trump’s delusional estimates of attendees at his inauguration and his cult rallies. His tendency to inflate numbers not only got him into trouble for flagrantly lying, but it’s also a factor in the criminal investigations currently in progress in New York where he has inflated and/or deflated the value of his real estate properties to defraud the IRS.

Not only is Trump’s new blog a bust, but according to The Wrap, his most recent TV interview on Newsmax got half as many viewers as a rerun of ‘Chopped’ on the Food Network. What’s more…

“MSNBC’s ‘Rachel Maddow Show’ grabbed 2.59 million total average viewers and 355,000 in the demo. Meanwhile, while Fox News’ ‘Hannity,’ a show Trump has been known to frequent, nabbed 2.318 million total viewers with an average 387,000 between 25 and 54. CNN’s ‘Cuomo Prime Time’ averaged 1.02 million viewers, with 222,000 in the key demo.”

For Trump, size has always mattered. And he will lie to benefit himself whenever he sees fit. It’s a problem that he exhibits in every facet of his personal and professional lives. But to be fair, he has to do it if he wants any positive press. The reality of his existence is downright depressing. He is, and will remain, America’s Biggest Loser.

Fox News ‘Liberal’ Asks GOP Crybabies, ‘What Are the Republicans So Afraid of?’

There was some speculation that Fox News might change after Donald Trump was evicted by America’s voters from the White House. That speculation proved to be true. Fox News has changed. For the worse. It has veered farther to the right – and Trumpian extremism – than ever. Fox’s CEO, Lachlan Murdoch, even said publicly that it is the network’s “job” to oppose Biden.

In the past few months Fox News elevated drooling Trump sycophants like Dan Bongino and Greg Gutfeld. Tucker Carlson’s exposure was increased with new streaming programs. They added Lara Trump as a contributor and Kayleigh McEnany, Trump’s former press secretary, as a co-host on Outnumbered.

Meanwhile, Fox News has ideologically cleansed panel shows like Outnumbered of all leftish voices. They have parted ways with the few pundits who would occasionally challenge Trump and his suck-ups on the network. Politics editor, Chris Stirewalt, was fired. The former Democratic Party chair, Donna Brazile, is gone. Fox and Friends co-host Jedidiah Bila was sacked. And Juan Williams is now an ex-co-host of The Five.

Speaking of Williams, he just published an essay on The Hill posing the question “What are the Republicans so afraid of?” It’s interesting that Williams, who isn’t a particularly aggressive liberal, had to turn to a non-Fox website to express his views. Perhaps it’s because the essay began by noting the division that Trump – and Fox News – have been so instrumental in fomenting:

“Sixty-four percent of voters now see political divisions as a major threat to the ‘stability’ of the nation, according to a Fox News poll released last week. It is the highest-ranked major threat to the nation in the poll.

“The depth of the division can also be seen in recent Ipsos/Reuters polling that shows most Republicans continue to believe former President Trump is the ‘true president,’ and 56 percent [of Republicans] believe the 2020 election was stolen from him.”

Williams observed that the recent Senate vote to create a commission to study the January 6th insurrection failed due to Republicans being too afraid to examine what led to the Capitol Hill riots. Their fear was that a truly independent investigation would reveal that they themselves were responsible to a significant extent. Williams also wrote that Republican fear is centered on the racist “white re[placement” conspiracy theory that has become a major part of Tucker Carlson’s program.

Another key part of Williams’ essay was that Trump’s “Big Lie” that the election was stolen from him was “fed daily with conspiracy talk and misinformation by social media, talk radio and cable opinion shows.” Of course, the “cable opinion shows” he meant, without naming, were those by Carlson, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, the “Curvy Couch” potatoes of Fox and Friends, and pretty much the rest of their schedule.

It’s the “Big Lie” that has been the primary motivation for the violence by Trump’s insurrectionist brigades. It has even led to a call for a military coup by Trump’s former National Security Advisor, Mike Flynn. These traitors are openly advocating a violent overthrow of the United States government to install Trump as a dictator. And while Williams is right to ask what Republicans are afraid of, he might also want to ask: Why aren’t Democrats – and all patriotic Americans – more afraid?

‘Disgusting’ Hypocrisy: Fox News “Disrespects” Kamala Harris’ Memorial Day Message

Whenever Fox News launches an attack on someone, it’s a safe bet that whatever has offended them is something they are guilty of many times over. Their point is never to make a genuine commentary on principle. It’s simply an opportunity to malign those who don’t share Fox’s biases.

On this Memorial Day weekend, Fox News demonstrated their brazen hypocrisy by featuring a story at the top of their website criticizing Vice-President Kamala Harris for wishing the American people well on the holiday. Their article was headlined, “VP Harris under fire for blatant disregard of service members this Memorial Day with all-about-me tweet.” And to drive the point home Fox tweeted…

OMG! Fox News is livid that anyone might spend the holiday enjoying time with their friends and family. As if that in some way precludes them from appreciating the sacrifices of America’s fallen. And where did Fox get the notion that wishing others well was “all-about-me”? This is another futile attempt by Fox News to target Harris because they can’t shake Joe Biden’s broad-based popularity.

Consequently, Fox has lashed out at Harris with petty and fake contrives like the time she supposedly caused an international incident, or the time she allegedly profited off of selling her books to migrant children. Neither of those contained a shred of truth (something Fox couldn’t care less about). For the record, the Harris tweet that Fox falsely asserts “ignited outrage” was this wholesome hope for an enjoyable weekend…

That’s what Fox News labeled as “disgusting”? To Fox News it’s outrageous to want people to enjoy a weekend that is generally celebrated with barbeques and automobile sales. But what makes Fox’s feigned outrage so ludicrous is that their own tweet on the same day just extolled the virtues of intoxication…

That’s right. It’s “disgusting” for Harris to want people to enjoy themselves, but it’s perfectly acceptable to want them to get drunk. That’s Fox News for ya. And here’s wishing everyone a somber, sober Memorial Day. And for God’s sake, don’t enjoy yourself.

Fox News Seeks to Criminalize Fact-Checking to Preserve Their ‘Right’ to Lie

It’s official! Fox News is declaring war on reality. They are so consumed with “alternative facts“ and constructing phony scenarios to advance their ultra-rightist agenda that they have launched an all-out assault on {gasp} fact-checkers. Because the greatest threat to a dedicated purveyor of propaganda is the truth that is embedded in facts.

To a network like Fox News, facts are subversive agents of credible journalism. So in an effort to shield themselves from the embarrassment of being exposed to honesty, Fox has taken an aggressive stance against it. An op-ed that was published on their website asserts that fact-checkers are dangerous because “they have the power to censor what journalism Americans see and consume unilaterally.” Of course, a fact-check would reveal that that isn’t true. Fact-checkers merely hold the media accountable for mistakes and/or deliberate lies. The primary argument made in the article is that…

“Nobody is checking the fact checkers, and it is time that changed. It’s time for government to regulate the fact checking industry. […] We cannot be slaves to orthodoxy if that means Americans are subject not only to lies, but also the censorship of the truth.”

Lying and censoring the truth are long-time components of the Fox News mission statement. So naturally, the notoriously conservative pundits at Fox News, who abhor government regulations, are now advocating for “government to regulate the fact checking industry.” Even worse, they are exempting fact-checkers from protection by the First Amendment. While generously conceding that the Constitution shields the press, the article claims that “third party independent fact checkers are another story entirely.” Really? Most journalists would regard fact-checkers as members of the press.

Among the complaints outlined in the column is the provably false assertion that fact-checking “all occur[s] in one direction, towards the censorship of conservative ideas.” The author doesn’t offer any support for that claim and studies show that the opposite is true. But even if the article was right, it’s only because conservatives are known to be more dismissive of the truth. Their political and ideological leader, Donald Trump, has been documented telling more than 40,000 lies during his term in office. The occurrence of presidential misstatements has declined 85% in the first 100 days of President Biden’s term. Nevertheless, Fox News favors the sledgehammer of government regulation to pound down the fact-checkers. The article highlighted this solution to the imaginary problem:

“A new bill before the Michigan House of Representatives is a move in the right direction. The bill would require fact checkers to register with the government and carry insurance to cover payment to those who suffer financial damages as a result of a bogus fact check.”

Seriously? These are the same ideologues who staunchly oppose registering assault weapons and requiring gun manufacturers to carry insurance to cover those who suffer injury or death. Now they can’t wait for the the regulators to impose an entirely unconstitutional imposition on the press.

Another fundamental absurdity in the article is the author’s constraints on what constitutes a fact. If fact-checkers don’t adhere to his definitions then “they are no longer fact checking and should not be allowed to claim the service they are selling is doing so.”

Fine. Then can we also apply that logic to journalism, and if it doesn’t adhere to the truth then they couldn’t claim to be “news”? If so, Fox would have to drop “News” from their name (a good idea in any case). And to put a cherry on top of it, the article closed with this bit totalitarianism…

“There is nothing special about fact checkers that protects them from regulations requiring them to be fair and honest in their dealings. Those that refuse to operate objectively should be punished for misrepresenting their service.”

Meanwhile, Republicans are already pursuing this censorious agenda. Florida governor Ron DeSantis just signed a bill to punish social media firms (Facebook, Twitter, etc) that ban users who violate their terms of service. That’s the sort of control that conservatives seek over free press and thought.

And all the while they are disseminating blatant lies about election fraud (particularly Trump’s Big Lie), the Capitol Hill insurrection, and the COVID-19 “hoax.”. So it’s no wonder that they are desperate to shut down the fact-checkers. They’re tired of being held to standards of truthfulness that step on their “right” to deceive their dimwitted cult followers.

Walking Dead Voters: Trump’s Delusional ‘Massive Numbers of Dead People’ Voting Rant

The Mental Case of Mar-a-Lago is melting down again. Donald Trump isn’t satisfied with just being an impotent loser. He isn’t content with having incited a violent insurrection on Capitol Hill. Nope. Trump’s ambitions are far more demented than that.

With both federal and state prosecutors bearing down on Trump’s crime sprees, and President Biden taunting him with his surging popularity, the former reality TV game show host is suffering a severe escalation of his psychotic breakdown. On Thursday Trump took to his pitifully lame blog to further propagate the “Big Lie” that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him. And his “Breaking News” was emblematic of his sickness:

“Breaking News! Massive numbers of dead people ‘voted’ in the 2020 Presidential Election, far greater than anyone has known or seen before. Some of these ‘dead people’ even applied for an application to vote. This is just one of the many fraudulent aspects of the 2020 Presidential Election. People are just now beginning to understand!”

Unfortunately for Trump, what people are beginning to understand is just how acutely debilitated the twice-impeached washout has become. His posting doesn’t cite any source for the assertion that “Massive numbers of dead people ‘voted'” because there isn’t any evidence of it in the real world. Although there was a single incident wherein a voter cast a ballot for Trump in his dead mother’s name. But that hardly represents a rash of voter fraud that is “far greater than anyone has known or seen before.”

While Trump is whining about his delusional massive number of dead voters, he is oblivious to the massive margin of his electoral defeat (more than 7,000,000). He refuses to acknowledge the massive number of lies he’s told (more than 40,000). And worst of all, he’s still ignoring the massive number of dead Americans (nearly 600,000) due to his negligent and incompetent mismanagement of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Just like Bruce Willis in “The Sixth Sense,” (“I see dead voters?”), Trump doesn’t realize that it’s his political life that is deceased. And if he isn’t stopped, his departure from reality is likely to result in more dead Americans at the hands of his treasonous confederates. Matt Gaetz (R-QAnon) is already issuing threats, saying that “We have a 2nd Amendment in this country, and I think we have an obligation to use it.”
