BREAKING: Trump Admits that He Knows His Daughter Ivanka, a Witness in His Financial Fraud Case

The phalanx of former flunkies devoted to Donald Trump continues to crumble under the pressure of the legal battles in which he is presently embroiled. Four of his ex-attorneys (Michael Cohen, Sidney Powell, Kenneth Chesebro, and Jenna Ellis) have already pleaded guilty and committed to testifying against him and his other co-defendants.

Donald Trump, Ivanka Trump

A common trait of Trump’s temper is to throw tantrums whenever someone he thought was on his side decides to tell the truth for a change. That drives Trump even crazier than usual. He responds by either lashing out viciously, or pretending that he never knew the traitorous friend who is now a fiend and was always incompetent, ignorant and weak.

SEE THIS: Trump Lies that Sidney Powell Was Never His Attorney After Her Election Interference Guilty Plea

That personality defect is now threatening to fracture Trump’s family relations. The judge presiding over his financial fraud case in New York has ruled that his daughter, Ivanka, must testify as a witness in the case. To his credit, Trump has not yet denied that he knows Ivanka, or that she just used to bring him coffee, or that she has always been a loser. However, the prospect of her testimony has triggered Daddy Trump to post a frantic comment on his pitifully failing social media scam, Truth Social. He whined that…

“My daughter, Ivanka, was released from this Fake Letitia James case by the Court of Appeals, but this Trump Hating, Unhinged Judge, who ruled me guilty before this Witch Hunt Trial even started, couldn’t care less about the fact that he was overturned. I also won on Appeal on Statute of Limitations, but he refuses to accept their decision.”

There’s a lot of fantastical frenzy in that comment. For starters, Trump was not ruled guilty before the trial started. There was a successful motion for summary judgement by Attorney General Letitia James after the trial began and the evidence was presented. More to the point, Ivanka’s role as a witness is not related to her release as a defendant. She still has relevant knowledge of the business affairs of her father’s company that she was a principal in. It is interesting, however, that Trump didn’t bother to complain about his sons, Don Jr and Eric, having to testify.

What’s more, Trump’s claim that he “won” the case on appeal due to the statute of limitations is a blatant misrepresentation of reality. What he appears to be referring to is an appeals court ruling that actions taken prior to 2014 could not be charged because they were outside the statute of limitations. However, Justice Engoron made it clear that all of the charges in this case related only to Trump’s actions after 2014. So the statute of limitations ruling was irrelevant to the pending trial.

Trump’s post went on to slander the judge and the Attorney General in a manner that clearly violates the gag order that was imposed on him, and for which he has already been fined $15,000 for violating twice before. In his characteristically whiney complaint of perpetual victimhood, Trump yammered that…

“I truly believe he is CRAZY, but certainly, at a minimum, CRAZED in his hatred of me. This case should have never started, but now must be dismissed. Financial Statements were LOW, NOT HIGH, had a 100% Disclaimer Clause, Banks were fully paid, ‘on time, on schedule,’ with never even a minor default, there was NO VICTIM, EXCEPT ME. Any other Judge in the Country would have thrown this case out on day one. He’s an out of control ‘Nut Job,’ who fined me $10,000 over a ridiculous Gag Order so that the publicity for the day would take over from the fact that Racist James and the Judge’s Star Witness admitted LYING TO CONGRESS on the stand – CASE OVER!”

And that wasn’t the end of it either. Trump posted a another comment that repeated his tedious attacks on what he called “a grossly incompetent ‘Judge,'” “a partisan political hack,” “a Failed, Trump Hating, Racist Attorney General,” and “a Biden Election Interference Scam!” It is mind boggling that Trump thinks that this sort of deranged babbling will benefit his defense.

More likely, he has already accepted the fact that he has lost and that the court will dissolve his businesses in New York and impose a stiff financial penalty. Then he will file an appeal and hope for success there. But given the abundance of evidence against him, and the fealty to the law practiced by Justice Engoron, Trump is likely to be disappointed again. In the meantime, he will have thrown his children under the bus to save himself. Did you expect anything else from him?

IT’S A DISGRACE! Trump is Terrified that the Jan 6 Insurrection Committee Wants Ivanka to Testify

Last week was a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad week for Donald Trump. It began with his favorite propaganda outlet losing it’s biggest distributor. DirecTV announced that they would cease to carry the One America News Network. The Trump-fluffing, conspiracy spewing OAN derived the vast majority of their revenue from DirecTV and this development puts its future in jeopardy.

Donald Trump Sweating

However, Trump’s legal woes were even more catastrophic. The Supreme Court rejected his request to keep his records secret. The New York Attorney General took action to force his testimony in the real estate and tax fraud case. A Georgia district attorney impaneled a special grand jury to probe his efforts to intimidate state officials to overturn their election results. And a bunch of his StormTrumpers (aka Oath Keepers) were indicted for seditious conspiracy for their roles in the January 6th insurrection in Washington, D.C.

Further unsettling Trump’s already unstable mental state, is that the House Select Committee investigating January 6th made a formal request for Trump’s daughter Ivanka to testify before the panel. According to CNN the request “revealed explosive new details about the former President’s actions in the days leading up to and on January 6.”

So naturally, Trump has lashed out against the Committee, which he has been doing for weeks. This time his wrath came in an interview with the ultra-rightist Washington Examiner, Trump raged that…

“They are using whatever powers they have. They couldn’t care less. They are vicious people. [and that] It’s a disgrace, what’s going on. They’re using these things to try and get people’s minds off how incompetently our country is being run. And they don’t care. They’ll go after children.”

Trump went on to assert that the investigations against him set “a very bad precedent because it can happen the other way also.” That was a thinly veiled threat aimed at Hunter Biden, the son of President Biden.

For the record, Ivanka Trump is hardly a child. She is a 40 year old businesswoman who held the post of White House Counselor to the President (her father) for four years. She was an eyewitness to Trump’s activities before, during, and after the riots at the Capitol. Her testimony is unquestionably relevant, and her evasion creates suspicion. She is only being asked to provide her account of what happened, and she is not being charged with anything (yet). On the other hand, Trump is threatening Hunter Biden (who has has never had a political job) with criminal prosecution for allegations that have already been investigated.

As usual, Trump’s protestations reflect his fears. The guy who used his office to plot an anti-democratic coup is complaining that Democrats “are using whatever powers they have.” And if Democrats were using all of their powers they would already have had their Attorney General indict Trump, or fired him and appointed an acting Attorney General to do it.

Unlike Trump, Democrats are using their powers legally and in full public view. And as for trying to “get people’s minds off” of other matters, that’s precisely what Trump is doing with this outburst. He doesn’t want people to pay any attention to the avalanche of devastating disclosures that are burying him and his crime family. It is a tactic that he resorts to any time he is in trouble and afraid. Which lately, is almost all the time.

Cashing In On Corruption? Fox News Gets Slammed on the Air for Their Flagrant Hypocrisy

There is a heaping helping of chutzpah among the propaganda purveyors at Fox News. It isn’t just their shameless propagation of lies and right-wing conspiracy theories. It’s how arrogantly they present the phony tales of Democratic misconduct, while pretending that Trump and his Republican confederates are as pure as the driven snow.

Fox News, Bullshit Factory

On Friday’s episode of The Five on Fox News, co-host Dagen McDowell introduced a segment on the already aging story of Hunter Biden selling his artwork for surprisingly large sums. It’s a subject that they are obsessed with, having covered it just last month with their customary focus on lies, rumors, and baseless innuendo. But apparently that didn’t satisfy the Fivers.

The difference this time was that the panel was joined by Jessica Tarlov, who took exception to the hypocritical harangues of her co-hosts. Tarlov eventually found an opening to say that…

“We cannot have this conversation and completely ignore the fact that Trump children, Ivanka and Jared, according to Citizens for Ethics Investigations, made hundreds of millions of dollars while they were serving in government posts.”

At which point Jesse Watters prepared to make the first of multiple interruptions to prevent Tarlov from finishing her point. But she persisted…

“No Jesse, don’t put your hands up. She got dozens of trademarks, including three preliminary trademarks that she campaigned for at Mar-a -Lago.”

Watching Tarlov so righteously condemn the Trump family for their sleazy self-dealing was a rare spectacle on Fox News. She pointed out that Jared and Ivanka’s misconduct occurred while they held official White House posts. Hunter Biden, on the other hand, is a private citizen with no political sway and is entitled to pursue whatever career he chooses. It was predictable that this sort of honesty on Fox would not be permitted for very long.

As expected, McDowell quickly broke in to say that “We’ve gotta go.” But Tarlov was heated up and unstoppable. She continued while the other co-hosts talked over her, hoping to silence this unauthorized truth-telling. Co-host Katie Pavlich had the audacity to accuse Tarlov of “deflecting” when that’s all that the other co-hosts were doing from the moment she began talking.

In fact, the entire segment was a deflection from the corruption that was rampant in Donald Trump’s administration. Just this week Tom Barrack, a close ally of Trump, who chaired his inauguration committee, was arrested on charges of breaching the Foreign Agents Registration Act. He was indicted for lobbying Trump on behalf of the United Arab Emirates while Trump was running for and serving as president. And there were at least ten other felony indictments of Trump associates during his single term in office.

Fox News has also refused to report on Trump’s brazen profiteering while president, including charging taxpayers for accommodations at his hotels and golf resorts for family, staff, members of Congress, Secret Service, political organizations, and yes, even foreign operatives with business before the U.S. government. And Fox has failed to cover Trump ripping off his donors to line his own pockets.

So despite the fact that Trump has largely abandoned Fox News due to his impression that they haven’t been sufficiently worshipful, Fox continues to purse their lips and kiss his … let’s say ring. Consequently, it will be interesting to see if a disobedient liberal like Tarlov still has a job with Fox tomorrow.

Fox News Shill Sean Hannity Defends Trump Family’s Criminal Grift Operation

There is no one on Fox News who has been a more servile toady to Donald Trump than Sean Hannity. Well, maybe Jeanine Pirro. Okay, maybe Lou Dobbs. Perhaps Maria Bartiromo. Alright, never mind. Let’s just say that there are a lot of Trump toadies on Fox News and Hannity is one of them.

Be sure to visit and follow News Corpse on Instagram.

Fox News, Sean Hannity, White House

Hannity does have the distinction of often being referred to as Trump’s “shadow” chief of staff. They reportedly talk every night after his program. And Trump posts clips from show almost daily. That occurs even while Trump attacks Fox News as “unwatchable” and “worse than CNN.”

So it shouldn’t surprise anyone that Hannity launched yet another shamelessly dishonest defense of Trump and his thieving family on Friday night. This episode of Hannity’s Trump-Fluffing Hour included a segment about one of the many lawsuits that are pending against the “law & order” president. This one concerns charges that Trump misused nonprofit funds to enrich the Trump family (again). Specifically, the lawsuit alleges that Trump’s Presidential Inaugural Committee paid grossly inflated rates to hold an event at the Trump International Hotel in Washington.

Hannity’s lying diatribe began with his patented feigned outrage against the media, saying that…

“The mob has been caught again tonight pushing yet another anti-Trump hoax. this time now about Ivanka Trump, who was this week abusively deposed in a lawsuit filed by the District of Columbia against the Trump Inaugural Committee from 2016. That suit alleging that the Inaugural Committee spent a million dollars to rent event space at the Trump hotel – by the way, that deal was way before he even considered running for president – which plaintiffs claim was above the market rate.”

First of all, Hannity’s characterization of the deposition as “abusive” is an invention of his hyperactive imagination. Secondly, Hannity’s assertion that the deal for those rates was made “way before [Trump] even considered running for president,” is preposterous. How could they have made a deal with the Trump Inaugural Committee way before there was any consideration of a campaign? And finally, during the segment Hannity displayed a tweet by Ivanka that was supposedly proof that there was no wrongdoing:

What both Hannity and Ivanka are missing is that the lawsuit is not alleging that the rates charged by Trump’s hotel were inflated – although they obviously were. The lawsuit charges that it was improper for the nonprofit inaugural committee to pay those inflated rates to Trump’s own hotel for a private affair that wasn’t related to staging the inaugural activities. It is a violation of the law that requires nonprofits to use their funds for their stated public purpose, not to benefit private individuals or companies.

What’s more, Ivanka’s supposedly exonerating tweet has a subject line that says “buyout minimum.” What does that have to do with hotel room rates? And even her reference to “market value” doesn’t absolve her of any impropriety because the rates charged to the inaugural committee were far above market rates.

All of this proves that Hannity’s purpose was solely aimed at providing false cover for the Trump Crime Family to enrich themselves. And it doesn’t matter to Hannity or Trump or Fox News that none of their justifications are truthful. After all, Fox News literally argued in court that they have no obligation to tell the truth because no reasonable person takes them seriously.” And during this same episode of Hannity’s program he confessed that…

Trump’s ‘Miracle’ Coronavirus Vaccine is Another Lame Attempt to Exalt Himself

The nauseating spectacle of Donald Trump bragging about things that he had nothing to do with is sadly symbolic of his egomaniacal reign as the accidental occupant of the White House. That’s especially true with regard to anything related to the coronavirus pandemic that, due to Trump’s negligence and incompetence, has already taken the lives of more than 260,000 Americans.

Be sure to visit and follow News Corpse on Instagram.

Donald Trump, coronavirus

Despite his record of failure and mismanagement, Trump stubbornly insists that he’s done everything perfectly and deserves unqualified praise. The American people, though, are not fooled, and that is one of the reasons he lost reelection, which he also insists didn’t happen. Trump’s debilitating madness has kept him out of the public eye for three weeks now as he nurses his humiliation and self-pity. But it hasn’t kept him from tweeting feverishly about his delusional belief that he won reelection in a landslide.

Interspersed among his flagrantly false victory tweets, Trump has tried to take credit for the current state of the pandemic. Apparently he doesn’t know that it is marking higher peaks than at any time since it first appeared. On Saturday he posted a tweet that lashed out at his critics for not believing his rosy projections for the future:

And on Monday morning his daughter Ivanka backed him on on Twitter with her own undeserved praise:

What’s interesting about both of these tweets is that the alleged “miracle” was nothing but an affirmation of projections by experts from months prior. In fact, the article that Trump cited actually confirmed the scientific community’s assessment of the situation. It was published in May of 2020 and predicted that a vaccine would not be available to the public until approximately May of 2021. Which is what the Trumps are now touting as a miracle that no one could have foreseen. The article stated last May that…

“…experts say that the development, testing and production of a vaccine for the public is still at least 12 to 18 months off, and that anything less would be a medical miracle.”

So the truth is that the current schedule was foreseen by experts. Trump’s reality TV-style sloganeering with his “Operation Warp Speed” was as phony as Mexico paying for his fake border wall. Yet somehow the Trumps interpret this as being the culmination of a miraculous effort by a chief executive who was so obviously disengaged and more concerned with his golf game than saving lives.

Trump has been sulking in his White House bunker for the past three weeks. His time has been devoted to tweeting, watching Fox News (and Newsmax and OANN when Fox wasn’t sufficiently worshipful), and conspiring to overturn the election and undermine democracy. On the latter, he has managed to make an utter fool of himself and his pathetic legal team. He currently has a win/loss record in the neighborhood of 1 in 34.

However, Trump’s negligent ignorance of the coronavirus pandemic is the most troubling aspect of his behavior in these final days. He couldn’t care less about the loss of life or the suffering of those who survive but contract permanent disabilities. All he cares about is stealing credit that he hasn’t earned and lavishing himself with undue praise. And that display of rank narcissism will follow him into his civilian life and taint his legacy for whatever remains of his loathsome existence.

NOTE: News Corpse was notified by Twitter recently that its account would be suspended for repeated violations of their rules. Which is strange because it has never been cited for a single violation in 11 years and they didn’t even identify this alleged violation. They just bounced the account and its 7,000 followers. How Does Trump Have Time to Post Dozens of Tweets During a Raging Pandemic?

It’s Saturday and time once again for the regularly scheduled Trump Tweetstorm. On this episode, our reality TV game show president posted fifty (50!) self-serving, lie-riddled, insult-laden tweets, all before mid-afternoon.

Donald Trump, Toilet, Bathrobe

It’s bad enough that the American president finds it necessary to constantly lash out with such childish egocentrism on a frivolous social media site. But during a pandemic that is causing hundreds of thousands of illnesses in the country, and thousands of deaths, it is mind-boggling that he even has the time. Trump has never been a particularly efficient manager, having spent more time playing golf than any other president. And that’s when he isn’t watching Fox News or staging cult rallies. But you would think that his days would now be consumed with finding ways to mitigate the hardship – physical, emotional, and financial – that our fellow citizens are enduring.

Instead, Trump is tweeting interminably. With 50 tweets in seven hours (that’s about a tweet every eight minutes), Trump really needs to explain how that benefits a nation in distress. And you also need to factor in the time it took him to read the content that he’s retweeting prior to posting it.

Among this morning’s retweets were eight by John Solomon, a disgraced, ultra right-wing conspiracy crackpot. But even more egregious, there were 16 tweets that featured Trump’s daughter Ivanka. They covered a variety of subjects, but were mostly attempts to pay tribute to her and whatever project she’s pretending to be involved with. That’s a lot of tribute to someone who is only in the White House because of her family name.

The tweeting appears to have stopped just as Trump took to the podium at today’s Coronavirus Task Force briefing. Unfortunately, these briefings have not served their purpose from the start. Trump has hijacked them to boost his 2020 reelection campaign. So he commandeers the microphone to exalt himself, malign his critics, and shout manically at the press.

In fact, Trump opened today’s briefing by haranguing the media in some vague sense without ever explaining what he’s talking about. He later spent several minutes defending his firing of the intelligence community Inspector General, which led into several more minutes lying about the conversation wherein he extorted the president of Ukraine to get dirt on Joe Biden. Again, this obsession with himself does nothing to advance the fight against the coronavirus.

The bottom line is that we have a president who is flagrantly negligent. A competent leader wouldn’t have time to cast himself as the star of a daily press conference. He wouldn’t have time to bicker with reporters for whom he harbors a bitter hatred. And he surely wouldn’t have time to tweet dozens of times, predominantly about his own daughter, while the American people are suffering.

We need a president who will assemble the best and brightest experts to attack this pandemic, and then let them do that while he attends to a bigger picture agenda and the multitude of other presidential responsibilities. Trump has dropped the ball on virtually everything. And with respect to COVID-19 that has been a deadly dereliction of duty.

The Fox News Fetish for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Just Keeps Getting Creepier: Ivanka Trump Edition

Ever since Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was elected last November, the right-wing media has been beside themselves trying to slander her as an ignorant and un-American little brown girl who has no business having an opinion, much less serving in Congress. And no one has been more determined to disseminate this disparagement than Fox News.

Fox News, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Tucker Carlson

Consequently, the State TV network reached out to Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, to deliver the administration’s smackdown on Ocasio-Cortez. Unfortunately, her interview merely revealed that she is a spoiled rich kid with no comprehension of what ordinary Americans are experiencing. She tried to respond to Ocasio-Cortez’s announcement that she intended to pay her staff a {gasp} living wage. Previously on Fox News this was greeted with a pathetic display of math illiteracy. And Ivanka’s response was equally embarrassing:

“I don’t think most Americans, in their heart, want to be given something. I’ve spent a lot of time traveling around this country over the last 4 years. People want to work for what they get. So, I think that this idea of a guaranteed minimum is not something most people want.”

So a woman who has lived her entire life off of what she was given by daddy is certain that other Americans wouldn’t want fair compensation for their work, which is all that Ocasio-Cortez is proposing. If this is what Ivanka learned from four years of traveling around the country, she has a severe learning disability. But she does have an excellent grasp of the sort of harebrained talking points required to be a Fox News pundit.

The obsession that Fox News is nursing every day is evidence that Ocasio-Cortez is one of the new class of representatives who Fox fears the most. There is no other explanation for how maniacally focused they are on her. She was only sworn in a month and a half ago, but Fox’s most prominent hosts are fixated squarely on her every word (as well as her youth, clothes, and dancing ability). The entire primetime roster on Fox all featured her on their programs Monday night. They were also transcribed into op-eds for the Fox website. The amusingly alarmist headlines and ledes were:

  • Sean Hannity: It’s scary how prominent Dems, the media are supporting Ocasio-Cortez and her socialist views.
“We are once again featuring the 29-year-old socialist from New York who is both revered and feared inside her own party. […] But now, she is taking her insane views even a step further.”
  • Laura Ingraham: Spike Lee, Smollett, Ocasio-Cortez and her mini-mes tell us lots about modern day liberalism.
“Like most of today’s social justice warriors, Ocasio-Cortez truly believes she is always morally right. And that notion entitles her to be one of the leaders of not the #MeToo movement, but the ‘Me-me-me’ movement.”
  • Tucker Carlson: How dumb, arrogant Ocasio-Cortez became the boss of the Democratic Party
“It’s a measure of how cowardly impassive everyone has become all of a sudden that a chorus of right-thinking Democrats hasn’t told this idiotic windbag to be quiet and take a seat.”

These are the extreme, unhinged, and disrespectful lengths that the Foxies will go to in order to malign a committed, intelligent young woman who stepped up to serve her country. And the fear that she has stirred in their shriveled hearts is unmistakable. This is the sort of full-court press that the right generally reserves for Kenyan-born, terrorist-sympathizing, Muslim atheist commies who stole the presidency by actually getting a majority of the popular vote.

Ocasio-Cortez has earned this vitriol in record time. She should be proud that she has these dimwits from Fox News stalking her. It’s a validation of her effectiveness as an activist and a communicator. And at the same time it exposes Fox as a puerile confederacy of dunces who are utterly incapable of making a coherent response to someone they belittle as immature and inexperienced. Which, by the way, is a much better description of their Dear Leader, Donald Trump.

Hey Ivanka: Trump’s Press Sec Sarah Sanders Refused to Deny that the Press is the Enemy of the People

The crusade by Donald Trump and his administration to malign and endanger journalists continues in full force Thursday morning with what might otherwise have been a routine daily press briefing. What needs to be noted first, however, is that the White House press briefings are never really routine anymore, and they certainly are not daily. They held five briefings during the month of June, and only three in July.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Trump

During Thursday briefing, CNN’s Jim Acosta had to interrupt in order to be recognized because Trump’s censorious communications office has virtually blacklisted him. But he managed to get a question out that has particular significance to the media. Earlier in the day press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was interviewed by NPR. She was told about Ivanka Trump’s statement, in direct disagreement with her father, that she did not think that the media is “the enemy of the American people.” Sanders was asked to state her own position on the matter, but she conspicuously dodged the question with whining about how she and Trump were subject to criticism, poor things. So Acosta gave her another chance to provide a clear answer (video below):

Acosta: “I think that it would be a good thing if you were to say right here at this briefing that the press, the people that are gathered in this room right now doing their jobs every day, asking questions of officials like the ones you brought forward earlier, are not the enemy of the people. I think we deserve that.”
Sanders: I think that the President has made his position known. I also think it’s ironic … that not only you and the media attack the President for his rhetoric when they frequently lower the level of conversation in this country. Repeatedly the media resorts to personal attacks without any content other than to incite anger. The media has attacked me personally on a number of occasions.

So it’s the media that is lowering the level of conversation, not Trump’s infantile insults and boorish hostility? Sanders was merely repeating her dodge with the same laments about how she has been the victim all along. She then rattled off a series of examples of the media being mean. The problem is that none of them were examples of media behavior. She said that ICE officials were not welcome at their churches; that a comedian (Michelle Wolf) made some jokes about her; that she required Secret Service protection. The media didn’t do any of that. But regardless, she blamed the media for those inconveniences and slithered out of answering the question. So Acosta followed up:

Acosta: Sarah, if I may follow up. You did not say in the course of those remarks that you just made that the press is not the enemy of the people. Are we to take it, from what you just said – we all get put through the ringer, we all get put through the meat grinder in this town, and you’re no exception, and I’m sorry that happened to you. I wish that that had not happened. But for the sake of this room, the people who are in this room, this democracy, this country, all the people around the world are watching what you’re saying, Sarah. And the White House of the United States of America, the president of the United States should not refer to us as the enemy of the people. His own daughter acknowledges that and all I’m asking you to do, Sarah is to acknowledge that right now and right here.
Sanders: I appreciate your passion. I share it. I addressed this question. I addressed my personal feelings. I’m here to speak on behalf of the President. He’s made his comments clear.

So there you have it. She brushed off the question again, leaving the world to conclude that she repudiates Ivanka’s statement and remains aligned with Daddy’s Stalinist opposition to the First Amendment of the Constitution. What’s more, she asserts that the prior statements against the press by Trump and company were “clear” and still his policy toward journalists who are just doing their jobs. And it will remain his position until some reporter gets killed by a StormTrumper who thinks he’s carrying out the orders of Dear Leader to eliminate the enemy.

So he still thinks a “large percentage” of the media is the enemy. And that includes any media that doesn’t suck up to him (i.e. Fox News). So what’s the difference?

Samantha Bee Was Agreeing With Trump Who Once Bragged About His ‘C*nty Demeanor’

America is getting a crash course in both vulgarity and expressing remorse this week. First we had Roseanne Barr’s heinously racist tweets comparing Valerie Jarrett to an ape. That was followed shortly by Samantha Bee calling Ivanka Trump a “feckless c*nt” for failing to use her influence over her father to help immigrant kids.

Donald Trump, Samantha Bee

These are both examples of bad judgment by media professionals who ought to know better. However, Bee’s commentary was part of an appeal to help children who were ripped from their mothers’ arms by heartless government agents. Roseanne, on the other hand, delivered a purely bigoted attack for no reason other than to vent her hatred. Either way, neither of them should have made such obviously offensive remarks in public forums.

Ever since these outbursts, liberals and conservatives have flooded the media with justifications and/or apologies. Many have offered up examples of similar behavior in an effort to diminish the failings of their own side. The right threw Bill Maher into the mix, as if he were a leftist icon (he’s not). The left had more ammunition to work with. They could just mention Ted Nugent (who called Hillary Clinton a c*nt and a whore) and the debate would be over.

And then there is Donald Trump. The Pussy-Grabber-in-Chief himself. The man who has hurled these same types of words as insults toward everyone from Ted Cruz to Michelle Obama. Only the most glassy-eyed disciple of the Trump Cult would deny that he is the most profane cretin to ever occupy the White House. And as it turns out, Trump would probably agree himself. That would account for this tweet that he posted with a perverse sense of pride:

Anyone who has spent ten minutes studying Trump has already observed his extreme narcissism combined with the swagger of someone who revels in his image as a bad ass. He insults friends and foes with glee. He is allergic to apologies, remorse, or shame. So it isn’t surprising that a fan would compliment him on his being a – let’s say supreme jackass – and he happily affirms it.

Consequently, what Bee said wasn’t far from the appraisal that Trump has of himself. Presumably he regards it as a family trait that his kids, including Ivanka, would have inherited. He surely doesn’t see it as disparaging. So there is really nothing for Bee to apologize for. She just recognized a character trait in the Trump family that he has already admitted to having. And he’s proud of it. Perhaps he should thank Bee for recognizing a part of him that he regards as an asset.

Other Things Giuliani Told Hannity that are as Bad or Worse than Stormy’s Hush Money

Wednesday was another chaotic day in the epically unraveling administration of Donald Trump. His newly unwrapped lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, went on Fox News and told Sean Hannity that Trump lied about not knowing anything about the hush money paid to Stormy Daniels by his personal attorney, Michael Cohen. That revelation has roiled the Trump White House and the media. But that isn’t all that Giuliani spilled in the hour long interview.

Fox News, Sean Hannity, Rudy Giuliani

Sean Hannity hosted Giuliani for the entire program, mostly without commercial interruption. That’s an indication of how important this was to Hannity and Fox News. That they would forgo significant revenue in order to hold their audience enrapt in the unhinged stylings of Giuliani is further evidence that the network is literally state-TV and an arm of the Trump PR machine.

In addition to the shocking confessions about the hush money payoff, Giuliani delved into matters related to Trump’s unsavory connections to Russia and the collusion that he is so tightly associated with. What follows are some of the non-Stormy babblings of Giuliani that should receive some attention when the more salacious disclosures of porn star payments subside:

Giuliani:[Trump] fired Comey because Comey would not, among other things, say that he was not a target of the investigation. […] So he fired him and he said ‘I’m free of this guy'”

Giuliani just provide the latest confession of Trump’s obstruction of justice. Firing Comey because he refused to clear the President, and declaring freedom from the pending investigations could not be a clearer admission of guilt.

Giuliani: “Lester Holt asked him why he did it. He said ‘I did because I felt that I had to explain to the American people that their president was not a target of the investigation.'”

That’s not even close to what Trump told Holt. Actually, he told Holt that he did it because “I said to myself, I said ‘you know, this Russia thing with Trump and Russia is a made-up story, it’s an excuse by the Democrats for having lost an election that they should have won’.”

Giuliani: “Comey should be prosecuted for leaking confidential FBI information. When he leaked his report intended to develop a special prosecutor for the President of the United States.”

Of course, Giuliani doesn’t bother to cite what law was broken here, because there wasn’t any.

Giuliani: “Comey is a pathological liar.”

This is typical Trumpian projection. It’s the President who is known for his compulsive lying. Comey may have used some poor judgment in the run up to the election, but it has yet to be shown that he lied.

Giuliani: “I have the indignity of unfortunately having hired [Comey] for his first big job, and I’m embarrassed that I hired him.”

This is about the only act of repentence you’ll ever see from Giuliani or Trump.

Giuliani: “I believe they [Sessions and Rosenstein] should, in the interest of justice, end this investigation. There’s been too much government misconduct. The crimes now have all been committed by the government and their agents.”

Naturally Giuliani would like the investigation to end by the waving of a magic wand. He certainly doesn’t have the legal capability of ending it or succeeding. But he does like to make baseless accusations of crimes.

Giuliani: “I’m sorry Hillary. I know your very disappointed that you didn’t win. But you’re a criminal. Equal justice would mean that you should go to jail.”

Both Trump and Giuliani like to recklessly throw around baseless accusations of guilt. That is irresponsible and unprecedented behavior for a president or his representatives.

Hannity: “He said that [Hillary] Clinton deeply respects the rule of law. Comey said that.”
Giuliani: “Wow. Then this is a very perverted man.”

For heaven’s sake, Rudy. What the heck are you talking about?

Giuliani: “The President of the United States didn’t do anything wrong. We are lucky that we have a president who can focus. In a way it almost hurts him.”

For heaven’s sake, Rudy. What the heck are you … Um, I used this one already. But it still fits.

Giuliani: “Ivanka Trump? I think I would get on my charger and go right into their office with a lancet if they request Ivanka. If they do do Ivanka, which I doubt they will. The whole country will turn out. They’re going after his daughter?”
Hannity: “What his son-in-law [Jared Kushner]? They’re going after him.”
Giuliani: “Jared is a fine man. You know that. But men are, you know, disposable. But a fine woman like Ivanka? Come on.”

Men are disposable? Does that include Trump? And the day when you mount a charger and ride into battle might indeed get the whole country to turn out. Just for the laughs.

Hannity: “This was supposed to be about the Trump campaign, Russia collusion.”
Giuliani: “Gone.”
Hannity: “Gone. Never happened.”
Giuliani: “He’s been cleared of that.”

Cleared? Seriously, what planet are these guys broadcasting from?

Giuliani: “Russia collusion is total fake news. Unfortunately it has become the basis of the investigation. And Mueller owes us a report saying it means nothing, it didn’t happen.”

Relax Rudy. You’ll get your report from Mueller. Although it may not contain exactly the sort of vindication you’re hoping for.
