Trump Goes on Psycho-Rant Accusing Fox News of Sabotaging Him with Bad Pictures and Polls

The fits of hysteria by Donald Trump are coming with more frequency and fury as he sinks deeper into the legal quagmire that he created for himself. With four criminal indictments and 91 felony counts pending, Trump appears to be succumbing to the realization that his worst nightmares are now his reality.

Donald Trump, Fox News

In this distemperate state of mind, Trump is lashing out in every direction, including at those who are his allies and loyal defenders. Consequently, his Ministry of Propaganda (aka Fox News) is taking a barrage of assaults despite their overwhelming adoration of Dear Leader Trump and their constant apologia for his heinous acts and rhetoric. Not that attacking Fox News is just a recent occurence for him…

SEE THIS: Trump To Be Interviewed on Fox News, the Network He Says is ‘Dead, Totally Fake, Unwatchable’

On Thursday morning Trump posted a series of scolds on his failing social media sham, Truth Social, aimed at the ultra-MAGA “news” network. He was clearly upset at them for being less than worshipful, and he was going to let them know about it. He led off with a post saying that…

“FoxNews is going all out, just as they did in 2016, to figure who in this very large, but failing, Republican field, can beat your favorite President, Donald John Trump. They use only the most negative polls.”

Trump has apparently noticed that there is a large field of challengers for the Republican nomination for president. They include governors and senators, and even his former VP, Mike Pence (who is beginning to turn on as well). That fact alone indicates that the party principals’ level of respect and/or fear is fading. Trump went on to whine that…

“Why doesn’t Fox and Friends show all of the Polls where I am beating Biden, by a lot. They just won’t do it! Also, they purposely show the absolutely worst pictures of me, especially the big ‘orange’ one with my chin pulled way back. They think they are getting away with something, they’re not. Just like 2016 all over again…And then they want me to debate!”

Trump’s is typically preoccupied with perceptions of him and matters that weigh on his massive yet fragile ego, rather than anything that concerns the American people. So he is outraged that Fox News would air pictures or polls that portrayed him as the loser that he is. Fox News can’t help it if he looks ridiculous in his orange face paint, or that he is losing to President Biden in most polls. It appears that Trump’s ire was triggered by the following segments on Fox News…

For the record, Biden is ahead of Trump 44% to 41% in the latest Fox News poll. In fact, Contrary to Trump’s lies, in the twenty most recent polls, from early July to the present, Trump leads Biden in only two of them. Meanwhile, Trump has been hammering his former Attorney General, Bill Barr, who has lately been affirming the validity of the charges against Trump.

“Why does FoxNews constantly put on slow thinking and lethargic Bill Barr, who didn’t have the courage or stamina to fight the Radical Left lunatics […] Unless FoxNews starts putting the RIGHT people on, their Ratings will never recover.”

It was thoughtful of Trump to offer advice to Fox on how they can improve their ratings. Never mind that it was Trump and his election fraud lies that cost Fox nearly a billion dollars in the defamation lawsuit settlement with Dominion Voting Systems.

Trump also offered some advice to the the GOP, saying that “Republicans must get tougher and smarter, FAST!” By which he means they must be more sycophantic and extremist in their defense of Trump. Which is why they lost in 2020, 2022, and are trailing for 2024. So if the past is any indication, it would be highly advantageous for Fox News and Republicans to take Trump’s advice to heart. Advantageous, that is, for Democrats.

TRUTH THIS: More Americans – Including 25% of Republicans – Believe that Trump is Guilty

One of Donald Trump’s favorite pastimes is posting polls on his floundering Twitter ripoff, Truth Social. He seems to think that it’s interesting to his cult followers that he is running ahead of Florida’s wannabe fascist governor, Ron DeSantis, aka “Trump Lite.” So he “re-truths” these surveys ad nauseum.

Donald Trump Walking the Plank

The polls that Trump posts are, of course, invariably positive. His malignant narcissism demands that he be exalted at all times. While he does post some polls from mainstream sources, others are conducted by right-wing outfits that are shamelessly slanted. He even posts some Twitter polls conducted by such reputable figues as “Catturd.” Only rarely does he post anything that shows him losing. And when he does, it’s only to whine and rebuke the faithless reprobate…

SUCH AS: Fox News Hack Laura Ingraham Draws Trump’s Wrath for Showing a Poll that Affirms He’s a Loser

Politico just completed a new poll that reveals the nation’s views of Trump’s legal tribulations. And given the results of the poll, we should not expect him (or Fox News, or any of his media or political flunkies) to promote it. Unless it’s to bash Politico for having the audacity to publish anything that demeans Dear Leader. According to Politico

“Forty-nine percent of respondents — including 25 percent of Republicans — said that they believe Trump is guilty in the pending federal prosecution, which alleges that he willfully retained sensitive government documents after leaving office and obstructed a subsequent federal investigation.

“A nearly identical 48 percent of respondents — including 24 percent of Republicans — believe that Trump is guilty in the Manhattan DA’s pending prosecution, which alleges that Trump falsified business records in connection with a payment to the porn star Stormy Daniels in the run-up to the 2016 election in order to keep her quiet about an alleged sexual relationship between the two.”

The only thing surprising about the broad-based results of this poll is that the number of those who believe that Trump is guilty isn’t higher. However, it is a bit surprising, and welcome, that a quarter of Republicans are convinced of Trump’s guilt. But don’t expect Trump to “truth” that poll, if he is even permitted to see it by his handlers.

The Politico poll is not the first to show that Trump is losing ground among the American electorate. A recent NBC News poll found that, while Biden and the Democratic Party are not exactly universally adored, Trump and the GOP are roundly hated and are underwater by more than 20%. And Trump won’t be pleased to learn that only 33% of Republicans identify as Trump supporters.

SEE THIS: Americans are Unsatisfied with Politics in General, But Specifically Despise Trump and the GOP

It is likely that Trump posts so many of his rosy polls as a defense mechanism to convince himself that he is the shining object of everyone’s creepy desire. He needs to satisfy his humongous, yet fragile, ego. So whenever you hear Trump fluffing himself and boosting his position among the public, remember that he is a pathological liar with psychotic self-esteem issues. The truth that Trump cannot escape is that he was the most unpopular president in modern times, and continues to reach ever deeper depths of disrepute.

Fox News Hack Laura Ingraham Draws Trump’s Wrath for Showing a Poll that Affirms He’s a Loser

The 2024 primary for the Republican nomination for president is already in full swing with five declared candidates vying to upset the party’s entrenched cult messiah, Donald Trump. And that doesn’t even include undeclared, but probable, candidates Ron DeSantis and Mike Pence, and at least eight others.

Laura Ingraham, Fox News

For his part, Trump has been waging a feeble campaign from the safety of his Mar-a-Lago bunker, where he frantically posts demented comments on his floundering Twitter scam, Truth Social. Occasionally he will venture out to attend a cult rally or participate in a dreadful, so-called town hall on CNN.

SEE THIS: How Horrible Was CNN’s Lie-Riddled Trump Town Hall? Let’s See What CNN Has to Say About It

On Tuesday morning Trump excoriated his Ministry of Propaganda, Fox News, for failing to be unflinchingly worshipful. It’s a posture he has assumed frequently as of late. Earlier this week he complained about a segment that didn’t damn DeSantis to hell, saying that “He sucks, and so does Fox News.” But on this occasion, the target of Trump’s tantrum was one of his most devoted boosters on the network, Laura Ingraham. Trump bellowed that…

“Laura Ingraham on FoxNews just did a hit piece on me (there go her ratings!) showing some polls which indicate that Ron DeSanctimonious may do better against Biden than I would, when actually polls show that I do MUCH better against Biden than ‘Rob.’ The poll your looking at now, which has me doing far better against Crooked Joe, was just put out by FOX, I am sure unhappily. I’m also leading DeSanctus by over 40 points in Primary Voting. Watch Greg Kelly on Newsmax at 10:00 P.M.”

What triggered Trump was a segment on Ingraham’s show Monday night, wherein her conservative pundit guest blasphemed Trump’s divine infallibility saying that…

“Donald Trump, in almost all the polls that we’ve seen that have been done so far, granted it’s early, is behind Joe Biden. Now Joe Biden is running pretty badly against generic Republicans, maybe against a Tim Scott or against a Ron DeSantis type figure, but he’s consistently beating Donald Trump.”

Ingraham should know better than to ever say anything that isn’t utterly adoring of Trump. Doing so lands you a spot on his ever-growing enemies list. And to suggest that President Biden could defeat Trump – which he did decisively already – is unadulterated heresy.

Trump is doing his part to destroy Fox News, which may be the only thing he has ever done to benefit American society. However, his assault on Ingraham may be wasted considering that she is already rumored to have lost her primetime spot in the wake of the firing of Tucker Carlson. Fox has announced programming changes that would move wingnuts Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfeld to primetime, which would mean Ingraham is pushed out.

Newsmax has been the beneficiary of the Carlson dumping as Fox News ratings have cratered since then, and some of that audience has migrated to Newsmax. Trump’s post exacerbates that exodus as he urges his cult followers to flip over to the ultra-rightist Newsmax during Ingraham’s 10:00pm time period.

As for the battle between Trump and DeSantis, there are several polls that show DeSantis doing better than Trump against Biden. But Trump is known for denying reality and/or deceiving his followers to insist that he is always winning whatever fight he’s in. Never mind that he has been singularly responsible for Republican losses in 2020 and 2022. And there’s no reason not to assume that he won’t have the same impact in 2024. Even without Fox News to prop him up.

Jon Stewart’s Snarky Swipe at Nutty Notion that a Trump Indictment Would Make Him a Martyr

As the walls close in on Donald Trump, he is descending ever further into an abyss of self-pity, victimhood, and malicious lies and insults aimed at the prosecutors who seek to hold him accountable for his multitude of crimes. His posts on his floundering Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, are drenched with the fear and desperation of a cornered rat.

Jon Stewart, Donald Trump

Trump’s attacks on law enforcement range from outrageously false to blisteringly vicious as he attempts to convince his glassy-eyed cult followers that he is being persecuted by a cabal of satanic, George Soros-sponsored communists determined to drag him into the pits of hell – a destination he has been setting for himself for decades. And it’s clear that Trump’s anxieties are weighing on him as he converts his fear into threats.

RELATED: Trump Warns of ‘Death and Destruction’ if He is Indicted for Crimes that He Actually Committed

The prospect of Trump being indicted has driven debate among the pundit and political class, with his most devoted defenders latching unto the preposterous notion that if charges were brought against him it would boost his popularity and secure his electoral victory in 2024.

They might be right if they are only considering Trump’s position among his staunchly loyal disciples. They have already proven that nothing he does (assaulting women, stealing classified documents, consorting with Russians, dining with Nazis, inciting insurrections, etc.) could shake their blind adoration of him. However, the broader American public is already tired of, and disgusted by, his antics.

The idiotic idea that an indictment would bolster Trump was addressed in an interview of Jon Stewart by CNN’s Fareed Zakaria. And Stewart was on top of his game when he laid into those who embrace the “Trump as martyr” narrative…

Zakaria: There are people who say “Yes, yes. Indict him because he has, in fact, broken the laws.” And there are other people who say “This is gonna turn him into a martyr. This is his path to redemption.”
Stewart (sarcastically): I think the law should always take into account someone’s popularity. I mean, what’s happened to our country? It’s as though you can’t even commit financial fraud anymore. You can’t inflate the value of your property when you need a loan, and then deflate it with taxes. The next thing you know they’re going to send YOU to jail instead of your lawyer, and your accountant, and your campaign manager, and everyone else around you. The idea that someone may face accountability, who’s that rich and powerful, is outrageous, and this country shouldn’t stand for it.
Zakaria: But what if it turns out to be his “get out of jail free” pass? People see him as a martyr?
Stewart: We either have the rule of law, or we have no rule of law. The rule of law does not take into account if that might make you a martyr to somebody.

Indeed! The law should never consider whether a particular defendant is popular, or how his prosecution might be seen as a matter of public opinion, and especially not politically.

That said, if Trump flunkies really want to impose a standard wherein public opinion of a defendant determines whether or not to pursue prosecution, they might regret getting what they wish for. A recent poll shows that 56% of Americans say that investigations into Trump are fair, while only 41% say they are “witch hunts.” Other polls have long shown that a majority of Americans believe that Trump is responsible for the violence that occurred on January 6th.

SEE THIS: WTF? Trump Brags that 67% of Americans Say He’s Responsible for the Violent January 6th Insurrection

In the meantime, Trump’s lackeys on Capitol Hill are smoothing the way for him to commit even more crimes with absolute impunity. The GOP chairs of the House Judiciary, Oversight, and Administration committees are presently crafting legislation that would “strip state and local prosecutors of the authority to prosecute former presidents.” Never mind that it’s a blatantly unconstitutional imposition on state’s rights, something conservatives pretend to support. Or that is intended solely to shield Trump from prosecution for his innumerable crimes. It is also a futile gesture since it would never pass in the Senate or get President Biden’s signature.

This is the “thinking” of the Republican Party that is so infected with Trumpism that they would actually consider a law that would permit Trump to break any law that he wants. Which, from their warped perspective, makes sense because they believe that his lawlessness would make him even more popular among his Klan. And this is a party that thinks it has a future in American democracy?

GOP Presidential Poll Reveals Why Ron DeSantis is the Only 2024 Opponent that Trump is Attacking

While the first primary for the 2024 Republican nomination for president is still nearly a year away, Donald Trump is already running hard. He announced his candidacy last November in a nightmarishly bleak address that featured dystopian references to “blood-soaked streets” in “cesspool cities,” and was universally poorly received.

Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis

Since Trump’s official entry into the 2024 race he has maintained a constant presence via his floundering Twitter ripoff, Truth Social. He routinely posts dozens of comments a day, mostly linking to ultra-rightist websites and his anonymous QAnon cult followers. Occasionally Trump even posts stories from Fox News, which he has come to detest for being insufficiently worshipful. But he still can’t resist it when they exalt him as he believes he deserves, such as their analysis of the apocalyptic commencement of his candidacy.

RELATED: Fox News Lauds Trump as ‘Unbeatable in 2024’ Following His Dystopian Campaign Announcement

Although there has been almost no adversarial interactions on the campaign trail, Trump has taken a profoundly hostile approach to one prospective opponent, Florida governor Ron DeSantis. Trump has lately descended into the scummiest depths of political hostilities. In a series of assaults he has implied that DeSantis is a gay pedophile who will terminate Social Security and deliver the GOP to establishment RINOs.

Oddly, however, Trump has hardly said a word about any of the other Republicans who are mulling running against him. And a new poll by Monmouth University tells us why that is.

The survey shows that Trump is well ahead of the GOP pack with 41% of respondents choosing Trump. Coming in second is DeSantis with 27%. The rest of the contenders wallow in single digits.

However, the poll also asked respondents who they would support if the only choices were Trump and DeSantis. In that case the race was a virtual tie with Trump at 47% and DeSantis at 46%. And that explains why Trump is only bashing DeSantis. He is the only one who represents any competition at this point. So in Trump’s mind, he must be destroyed.

Furthermore, the other potential candidates currently pose no problem at all for Trump. So he’s laying off of them. In fact, he needs them in the race to dilute DeSantis’ strength as the leading anti-Trump candidate. Consequently, when Nikki Haley announced her candidacy, Trump literally welcomed her into the race, albeit in a somewhat passive-aggressive fashion.

SEE THIS: Trump ‘Welcomes’ Nikki Haley Into the 2024 GOP Primary with a Furious Flurry of Feces Flinging

The more piddly Republicans who run (i.e. Haley, Mike Pence, Ted Cruz, Mike Pompeo, Tim Scott, Chris Christie, etc), the better it is for Trump. So he ignores them. But he is so worried about DeSantis that a day doesn’t go by without multiple attacks.

On Wednesday Trump posted a link to an article about Steve Bannon calling DeSantis a “weasel” for injecting a sly reference to Trump’s troubles with adult film star Stormy Daniels into his criticism of Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan District Attorney who is contemplating an indictment of Trump.

Talk about passive-aggressive. Although Bannon’s criticism included the same references to the Stormy situation, so she got a two-fer. Actually, it was a three-fer because Trump reposted the Bannon article, further highlighting the porn star, hush money affair.

RELATED: Trump’s Attorney Admits that Trump Lied About Making Hush Money Payments to Stormy Daniels

In the coming weeks and months look for Trump to lob ever more poisoned spears at DeSantis. For his part, DeSantis will likely avoid declaring his candidacy as long as possible, partly because it is currently illegal for him to run and serve as governor at the same time (although the Florida legislature is in the process of repealing that law). So all of the open acrimony will be coming from Trump, while DeSantis meekly slings his muffled mud.

IT’S A CULT: Most Fox News Viewers Are Still Loyal After Dominion Lawsuit Discloses Their Lies

Fallout from the billion dollar defamation lawsuit against Fox News by Dominion Voting systems continues to rain down on Fox with some notable consequences. In recent weeks Dominion has filed motions in court that have revealed the brazen dishonesty of Fox executives and hosts in their own words.

Click here to Tweet this article

Fox News Lies

Dominion was able to acquire internal communications from Fox News that show how they have been outright lying to their audience in support of Donald Trump and his phony election fraud lies, while privately acknowledging that they knew that there was no truth whatsoever to his baseless allegations. And their lying was deliberately intended to stay in Trump’s good graces, despite the fallaciousness.

RELATED: In Dominion v Fox News, Network Cries ‘We Can’t Make People Think We’ve Turned Against Trump’

The purposefully deceitful remarks that Fox personnel made privately included…

  • Fox Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch: Really crazy stuff.
  • Tucker Carlson: What [Trump is] good at is destroying things. He’s the undisputed world champion of that. He could easily destroy us if we play it wrong.
  • More Tucker Carlson: I hate [Trump] passionately [and he is] a demonic force.
  • Rupert Murdoch to Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott: We don’t want to antagonize Trump further.
  • Suzanne Scott: You can’t give the crazies an inch right now […] The audience feels like we crapped on [them] and we have damaged their trust and belief in us.
  • Laura Ingraham: Sidney [Powell] is a complete nut. No one will work with her. Ditto with Rudy {Giuliani].
  • Sean Hannity: That whole narrative that [Sidney] Powell was pushing, I did not believe it for one second, [and that] she’s a f*cking lunatic.

Now a new poll has measured the impact that these revelations have had on Fox News viewers. and the results are disturbing, to say the least. Here are some of the surveys highlights…

  • While 21% of viewers say that they now trust Fox News less, 45% say that they continue to trust the network.
  • 13% say they no longer believe the 2020 election was stolen, but 50% still believe Trump’s “Big Lie.”
  • 16% say they have a less favorable opinion of Fox hosts Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham, but 52% still have favorable opinions.

It’s somewhat encouraging that some of Fox’s audience have embraced reality and backed away from their prior blind acceptance of everything Fox says. However, most of their viewers remain firmly attached to the Fox doctrine even after learning that they have been lying to them. That’s the behavior of a cult.

Some good news in the poll includes that Fox News viewers have about the same awareness (60%) of the Dominion lawsuit as the general public (56%). And yet they still largely trust the network. However, they must be exposing themselves to other media, because Fox News has a near total blackout on the subject.

RELATED: FOX News FINALLY Reports on the Dominion Lawsuit and is Predictably Dishonest and Biased

Not surprisingly, there is a significantly greater awareness of the lawsuit among viewers of MSNBC (82%) and CNN (71%), where reporting on it has not been suppressed. Also notable is that 10% Fox News viewers who were aware of the lawsuit say that they now watch it less. But 75% say their viewing has not changed. Inexplicably, 16% say they watch Fox News more after finding out that they are dupes being mislead by propagandists.

That’s some pretty powerful cult programming right there. They actually prefer being lied to, and they reward their deceivers. Those poor souls must now be regarded as lost and irretrievable. It’s a good thing that there aren’t very many of them (16% of Fox’s highest rated program = about 500,000, which is about 0.15% of the U.S. population).

UPDATE I: Another new poll found that “Nearly two-thirds of Americans (65 percent) think Fox News should be held accountable after … spread[ing] false information about the 2020 presidential election.” That includes 41% of Republicans. Although 47% of the GOP cult do not think Fox should be held accountable.

UPDATE II: In a March 31 ruling on summary judgement, the judge found that “The evidence is ‘CRYSTAL clear that none of the Statements [made on Fox News] relating to Dominion about the 2020 election are true.'”

UPDATE III: The judge in the Dominion case has sanctioned Fox News for withholding evidence. He also made several other rulings that hamper Fox’s ability to deflect from the issue of defamation.

Americans are Unsatisfied with Politics in General, But Specifically Despise Trump and the GOP

One thing that Donald Trump and the Republican Party can boast about having accomplished is poisoning the political atmosphere through divisive rhetoric, disinformation, and hate speech.

Click here to Tweet this article

Donald Trump, Joe Biden

Throughout the Era of Trump, he has never tried to unite the nation or to expand his reach out to voter groups that weren’t already devoutly embracing his cult movement. And the GOP has been too afraid to separate themselves from Trump. Consequently, they have also constricted their support to the farthest edges of the right-wing fringe. And that’s a condition that has been exacerbated by the Republican Ministry of Disinformation, aka Fox News.

RELATED: Fox News is OUTRAGED Because Biden Dares to Say He is ‘Optimistic About America’s Future’

On the other hand, President Biden and the Democrats have at least tried to appeal to a broader constituency. They have succeeded with regard to some of the never-Trump Republicans and Independents. And the results are evident in a new survey by NBC News.

Joe Biden, Donald Trump, Congress, NBC Poll

This poll shows the general dissatisfaction that has shrouded American politics. However, Democrats are not nearly as bad off as Republicans. Biden and the Democratic Party have a net negative approval in single digits. While Trump and the GOP are rated significantly lower and are underwater by more than -20%. And worse for Trump, only 33% of Republicans identify as Trump supporters.

So the next time you hear Trump bragging about how he is leading everybody in every poll by a lot, remember that he is a pathological liar and that the truth is that he was the most unpopular president in modern times, and his popularity has decreased since he was unceremoniously evicted from the White House.

Donald Trump is The Biggest Loser: Post-Midterm Poll Affirms What Everyone Already Knows

In the wake of the 2022 midterm election’s fabled “Red Wave” that never materialized, the Republican Party is drifting aimlessly as they try to pretend that they weren’t all aboard Donald Trump’s Titanic electoral catastrophe.

Donald Trump, Biggest Loser

Now Trump is sinking to new lows at a time when historically the party in the White House loses dozens of seats in Congress and state offices. That didn’t happen this time, and it’s evident that Trump is the reason why. Voters abandoned him, and the flotilla of feckless hopefuls that he endorsed, in droves. True to form, Trump went berserk at having been fingered for the fiasco he caused.

RELATED: Crybaby Trump Lashes Out at ‘Fake News’ for Reporting Accurately that He’s the Biggest Loser

Trump’s responsibility for the GOP’s implosion was affirmed in a new poll, as reported in The Hill

“Voters and Republican operatives alike are labeling former President Trump the biggest loser of the midterms, raising questions about his strength heading into 2024.

“In a Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll survey released exclusively to The Hill on Monday, 20 percent of voters said Trump was the clear loser after the Nov. 8 elections, while 14 percent said “MAGA Republicans” were and 12 percent pointed to mainstream Republicans.”

In all, nearly half of the poll’s respondents (46%) placed the blame squarely on Trump or his mutation of the Republican Party. Although that wasn’t much of a revelation. Trump had already lost the presidency once. He lost the popular vote twice. His two impeachments continue to hang over his losing legacy. And he is the subject of several civil and criminal investigations. No wonder 65% of registered voters don’t want him to even run in 2024.

By contrast, the same poll found that only “15 percent said Democrats were the biggest losers,” and that only “46 percent of respondents … said they would vote for him if the Republican presidential primary were held today.” That’s just Republicans.

Ironically, Trump posted a comment Tuesday morning wherein he was “thrilled” that nearly half of his own party would vote for someone else in a primary. But despite this foreboding future for the Former Guy, Trump is articulating a delusional account of the election results. He posted the following comment exalting himself and MAGA on his floundering Twitter ripoff, Truth Social

“Joe O’Dea lost his race in CO by over 12 points because he campaigned against MAGA. Likewise, candidates who shifted their ‘messaging’ after winning big in the Primaries (Bolduc!) saw big losses in General. Will they ever learn their lesson? You can’t win without MAGA!”

Of course, what Trump is yammering about is diametrically opposed to reality. It was the MAGA candidates who lost, including Lee Zeldin (New York), Doug Mastriano (Pennsylvania) Dan Cox (Maryland), Tudor Dixon (Michigan), Mehmet Oz (Pennsylvania), etc.). And it was those few who distanced themselves from Trump who won, including Brian Kemp (Georgia), Steve Sisolak (Nevada), Ron DeSantis (Florida), and Mike DeWine (Ohio).

Clearly MAGA is an anchor around the necks of GOP candidates. But Trump is too wrapped up in his malignant narcissism to notice. And his fawning sycophants at Fox News aren’t helping him when they encourage his psychosis with this sort of lunatic analysis…

As Trump Prepares to Lose Another Presidential Race, Most Americans Say He Shouldn’t Run

Former reality TV game show host, Donald Trump, has been teasing for weeks that he intends to run for president again in 2024. And he promised that he would make a “big announcement” on Tuesday, November 15, that he openly implies will be the commencement of his campaign. He is even laughably previewing it as “one of the most important days in the history of our Country!”

Donald Trump, Presidenty

On Monday Trump dropped more than 70 self-exalting posts on his floundering Twitter ripoff, Truth Social. Most of them portrayed him as the messiah of his worshipful cult followers, with images of him hovering the heavens or sporting the regalia of a valiant warrior. Which is ironic for a perpetually whining crybaby who has demonstrated nothing but cowardice.

RELATED: Crybaby Trump Lashes Out at ‘Fake News’ for Reporting Accurately that He’s the Biggest Loser

While Trump is clearly infatuated with himself, his perverse presumption that there is a groundswell of supporters clamoring for his re-occupation of the White House is preposterous. And a new poll reveals that reality in stark terms. According to the survey…

“A Politico-Morning Consult poll showed that 53 percent of registered voters believe he definitely should not run, while 12 percent said he probably shouldn’t. Less than 20 percent of respondents said he should definitely run, while only 12 percent said he probably should.”

On the heels of the midterm election Trump is descending to new lows. Historically the party in the White House loses dozens of seats in Congress. That didn’t happen this time. And there is widespread agreement that Trump was the single biggest reason that voters abandoned him and the parade of deplorable clown candidates that he endorsed. Even many Republicans spent the post-election week blaming Trump and trying to pretend that they weren’t part of his crusade.

Despite the American people’s overwhelming revulsion of Trump’s MAGA movement, he still suffers under the delusion that he is a beloved leader whose efforts on behalf of the phalanx of GOP losers were a smashing success. Not only is that irrefutably false, but the poll also found that Trump’s support among his own party is pitifully weak…

“A majority of Republican respondents in the Politico-Morning Consult poll said they wanted Trump to run, with 61 percent saying he definitely or probably should. But 35 percent said he should not run.”

So a third of the Republican Party doesn’t merely prefer a different candidate. They don’t even want Trump in the race. They know that his presence will be a drag on the rest of the Party’s candidates for every office from the presidency to the sanitation department. Consequently, the most avid advocates for a Trump candidacy are an odd combination of his most glassy-eyed disciples, and Democratic campaign consultants.

Trump may have some reservations about running himself. In fact, his “big announcement” may actually be a head fake that just reveals a 50% off sale of all MAGA merchandise at the Mar-a-Lago gift shop. After all, he already lost the presidency once. He lost the popular vote twice. He lost the 2022 midterms. His notoriously fragile ego couldn’t survive another rejection. So he might be laying the groundwork for an alternative career. But it’s one that is just as likely to result in a humiliating failure as another White House run: Trump TV?

Trump Truthfully Tells His Cult Rally Rabble that ‘I Think They’d Like To See Me In Prison’

Pathological liar Donald Trump doesn’t tell the truth very often. He has a record for blatantly lying during his occupation of the White House that President Biden – nor any future president – can ever hope to match. So when he does manage to say something truthful he deserves to get credit for it.

Donald Trump, Prison

Trump has spent the past two years whining about his having lost the 2020 presidential election. However, his efforts to prove any of his claims that the election was “rigged and stolen” from him have failed in more than sixty court challenges for lack of even a shred of evidence. It is that campaign to undermine democracy that has come to be known as the “Big Lie.” Even his own Attorney General, Bill Barr, said it was “bullshit.”

At his latest travelling salvation show, Trump rattled off his tedious litany of complaints and perceived victimhood. He repeated his well worn lines about the media, the election he lost, and always his seething hatred for all things democratic and his nemesis who bests him on all counts, President Biden. But on one matter Trump actually got something right at the end of a lie-riddled rant when he sobbed that…

“They’re trying to wipe out free speech, crush religious liberty, confiscate your guns, indoctrinate your children, criminalize dissent, and even put their political opponents in prison. I think they’d like to see me in prison. Can you imagine? I think they’d like… You know why? You know why? Because they’re sick. They’re sick people.”

Can you imagine? Can you imagine that law abiding Americans want politicians who commit crimes to be punished? Is it within your ability to grasp that people who incite violence in the process of staging a coup should be held accountable? Do you really believe that stealing highly sensitive national security materials, hoarding them in your hotel/home, and lying to the FBI about it should be prosecuted? Would you want authorities to investigate someone who committed bank and tax fraud for millions of dollars?

For the record, most Americans would answer all of those questions in the affirmative. Recent polling shows that nearly six in ten voters think that Trump should face charges over the January 6th insurrection. Even a Fox News poll shows that voters think Trump’s theft of classified documents was wrong by a whopping 39 point margin (65% to 26%).

As usual, just about everything else in Trump’s rally harangue is flagrantly false. It is Trump and his Republican comrades who have threatened free speech, literally proposing to ban books and censor media. They have fouled the notion of religious liberty by forcing their beliefs on everyone else. Their love affair with guns puts Americans at risk every day. And their idea of education is a true form of indoctrination that excises any historical facts that make conservatives uncomfortable, such as slavery and discrimination against minorities, immigrants, women, and LGBTQ.

Trump’s complaints about people wanting to see him in prison run in stark contrast to his own advocacy of prison for his political opponents. He routinely accuses others of crimes without any facts to support his charges. His rallies regularly feature chants of “Lock [him/her] up,” for unidentified crimes and without trial or conviction. And just to demonstrate his raging hypocrisy, that chant was even taken up within minutes of his prison whining at Saturday’s rally. You really can’t make this up…
