Devin Nunes Exalts the Failing Truth Social as ‘The Most Important Creation in Trump’s Career’

Throughout Donald Trump’s career he has embellished his personal and business “achievements” to the point that they bore no resemblance whatsoever to reality. Trump only speaks in hyperbole, claiming that everything he undertakes is the greatest success ever known to mankind. And conversely, any criticism or failure is the worst smear campaign. That’s partly why he was recently indicted for fraud by the Attorney General of New York in a case that documents his crooked business practices.

Among Trump’s most prominent recent business debacles is his Twitter ripoff, Truth Social. From the day it was launched it was mired in the sort of mayhem that can only be produced by incompetence. It repeatedly crashed. Users couldn’t log in. Fake accounts were rampant. And financially the shell company it partnered with suffered an 80% decline in stock value over the past seven months. Its investors are backing out.

So this seemed like a good time for the CEO, Devin Nunes, to appear on a right-wing podcast to tout how absolutely marvelous this scam operation is:

“Can you imagine where we would be had Donald Trump not went out and created Truth Social? We would be in a very, very dark spot. And it is very possible that, maybe, just maybe the most important creation in Donald Trump’s whole career will be the creation of Truth Social. And I don’t say that lightly. As you know, John and Amanda, I believe that to my core. It’s why I left Congress to go and do this.”

Can you imagine? It requires a pretty twisted imagination to perceive the “very, very dark spot” that Nunes is describing. Likewise, the ability to contrive a fantasy that Truth Social is “important” seems more than bit far fetched.

That said, Truth Social very well could be “the most important creation in Donald Trump’s whole career,” considering the vast landscape of failure that that encompasses. Trump has multiple business bankruptcies. His “university” was shut down, and he was ordered to pay $25 million in restitution. His charitable foundation was also shuttered, and he and his family prohibited from operating a charity in New York for five years. Numerous buildings that he had licensed his name to have removed his any remnant of that association.

In light of that record of wreckage, Truth Social might look good. Although, it hasn’t exactly prospered. Here is a brief summation of the website’s troubles…

“Apparently Trump’s dimwit-icisms didn’t do much to boost interest in this debacle. Not that it was especially prosperous before. It has declined by more than 80% since its high mark last October. […] with Trump posting his tedious whines about having lost the 2020 presidential election, and his infantile insults directed at anyone who is less than worshipful, how could anyone stay interested for long?”

Trump Rants Hysterically as His PRAVDA Social Bans Users Who Post the Truth About January 6th
“Trump’s Twitter copycat claiming it is ‘free from political discrimination,’ has reportedly banned users who posted information from Thursday’s congressional hearing on the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.”

That’s what Nunes regards “the most important creation in Donald Trump’s whole career”? Unfortunately for Nunes and Trump, it’s only going to get worse. The deal to take it public is falling apart. The financing to capitalize it will be gone when it does. It can never compete with Twitter or other social media sites.

As for Trump, he has sworn that he will never return to Twitter, even if Elon Musk’s teetering bid to buy it happens to go through. Which would be a risky bet. That would leave Trump yelling into the void where only his most devoted cult followers reside. Which would be a great relief to the rest of the nation – and world – that is sick to death of his petulant whining.

Trump Whines that He’s ‘Really Rich’ in Pathetic Attempt to Cure His Truth Social Disease

For years Donald Trump has bragged about his alleged wealth as proof of his self-proclaimed brilliance and competence as a successful businessman. Never mind that he inherited his fortune and ran it into the ground with foolish investments and bad management. He would have made more money if he had simply put his inheritance in an S&P 500 index fund.

Now Trump is using the same sort of impotent boasting to salve his gargantuan but fragile ego after more bad news about his floundering Twitter ripoff, Truth Social came out. The website he founded after Twitter suspended his account “due to the risk of further incitement of violence,” has been a disaster from its inception. And it’s actually gotten worse since Trump began using it himself.

The latest truth published about “Truth” Social is that Google has banned it from their Google Play app store due to its tolerance and promotion of violence. Bloomberg News reports that…

“Google’s Play store is declining to distribute Donald Trump’s Truth Social app, saying the network still needs to resolve the fact that it hosts violent threats and other content that goes against Google’s standards.”

In response to this story, Trump posted a furious comment that is rife with ridiculous claims of how his social media scam is thriving. He raged that…

“TRUTH is doing really well. It has truly become our MAGA VOICE, but also a voice for the RINOs and Radical Left Lunatics. Engagements are far better, more interesting, and spirited than anywhere else. I like it much better than Twitter, which is a complete mess. Sign up on TRUTH now, only getting stronger. Google is coming along nicely (I think?). SEC trying to hurt company doing financing (SPAC). Who knows? In any event, I don’t need financing, “I’m really rich!” Private company anyone???”

As usual, Trump can’t seem to get anywhere close to reality in his pitiful efforts to pretend that he isn’t a big loser. Trump’s alternative facts are diametrically opposed to what is actually happening with his vanity website. Both Trump’s “Trump Media and Technology Group” (TMTG), and “Digital World Acquisition Corporation” (DWAC), the shell company that was expected to take the new business public, are in serious legal and financial trouble. DWAC has declined in value by 75% from its high mark last March. And that’s not all…

That’s what Trump regards as “doing really well”? If he thinks that his anti-social site is a voice for what he calls “Radical Left Lunatics,” he may just get that insanity defense he’s been angling for. He is correct, however, – and he has bragged that – the site serves as a voice for himself and the other MAGA terrorists that President Biden recently called out so eloquently.

Finally, if Trump is so damn rich, why does he spend so much time begging for money from his hillbilly cult followers? And he doesn’t even use a penny of it for what he promises it’s being raised for. Such as electing MAGA Republicans, advancing his “Big Lie” that the 2020 election was “rigged” and “stolen” from him, and fighting the multitude of legal battles due to his inbred corruption.

And yet, his glassy-eyed disciples still open their wallets for his cons. It would be sad if it weren’t so funny and so destructive of his own nefarious goals.

UPDATE: DWAC failed to get backing for an extension to complete their merger with Trump’s Truth Social venture. Which means they will have to forfeit billions in pledged investments and a place on the stock exchange. Next stop…another Trump bankruptcy.

Trump’s Truth Social Owes its Web Hosting Service Millions and Hasn’t Made a Payment in Months

Two days after the January 6th insurrection that Donald Trump incited, Twitter permanently suspended his account “due to the risk of further incitement of violence.” Undaunted, Trump soldiered on determined to provide his glassy-eyed cult disciples with a steady stream of lies, hostility, and self-exaltation.

Trump eventually launched his own social media app, Truth Social, that was a blatant ripoff of Twitter. From its inception the venture was pure Trump, in that it was a fetid failure built on a foundation of fraud. After missing several launch dates, and racking up potential users on a waiting list of thousands, the site went live to a pitifully small audience, which didn’t stop Trump from claiming that it was “one of the hottest sites in the world.”

That, however was just the beginning of Trump’s problems. The company he started to run the site, Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG), and the shell company that he intended to use to get it listed on the stock exchange, Digital World Acquisition Corporation (DWAC), both became mired in legal muck.

Now, to no one’s surprise, Trump is sinking ever more into legal and financial trouble. A story published by the Fox News Business site (that’s right, Fox News) is reporting that Truth Social has failed to make payments to the web hosting service that it runs on. According to Fox Business…

“In October, RightForge announced it entered into an agreement to host Truth Social, which Trump helped create after he was banned by Twitter following the Jan. 6 riots. RightForge now contends that Truth Social has reneged on its contractually obligated monthly payments for setting up the platform’s web-servicing infrastructure, according to three people with direct knowledge of the matter.

“These people say RightForge contends that Truth Social has made just three payments and ceased making any payments since around March. RightForge claims that Truth Social owes it around $1.6 million and is threatening legal action to recoup the money, these people add.”

So in its short lifespan, Truth Social has sputtered to the starting gate, left its users hanging, lost 70% of its value (at DWAC), and is currently being investigated by a federal Grand Jury and the Securities and Exchange Commission. All of which is the predictable path of any Trump enterprise. However, the Fox Business story also notes that Trump is in even much bigger trouble personally…

“Trump himself faces mounting legal woes including a Justice Department probe over his role in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot; a New York state civil probe into the finances of the Trump Organization, his real estate and branding business; and, most recently, a DOJ probe into whether he mishandled classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate that led to the recent FBI raid.”

And if all of that isn’t bad enough, Axios is reporting that Truth Social’s trademark application has been denied. Apparently, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office “found two other companies who already use the Truth Social wording.”

That suggests a measure of laziness and/or incompetence that could only be achieved by Trump. After all, he can’t even get the name of his web site correct…

Trump Posts Hysterical Lie that ‘Everyone is Watching’ His Failing Twitter Ripoff, Truth Social

The desperation of Donald Trump continues to present itself with virtually every public comment he makes. As his legal peril escalates with investigations in progress in New York, Georgia, and Washington, D.C., Trump is amping up his attacks on anything and everything in order to wipe the slime from his brow and/or deflect attention from his crimes.

In the two weeks since the FBI retrieved numerous boxes of classified material from his Mar-a-Lago bunker, Trump has frantically fabricated a stream of increasingly bizarre excuses for his illegally hoarding sensitive national security documents in the insecure basement of his Palm Beach hotel/home.

Now Trump is lashing out wildly to change the subject again. On Sunday morning Trump took to his floundering Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, to whine about the “Fake News” correctly describing his social media scam as “little used.” He sobbed that…

“It’s amazing, I’ve had two stories — one in Politico, one in the Fake New York Times, where in the midst of the story, they say that I put my message out on Truth Social, a ‘little-used’ site with ‘few’ people watching. More Fake News. They know it’s now one of the hottest sites in the world, but they will never admit it, that’s why they call them the Fake News. Everyone is watching.”

What’s amazing is how brazenly Trump can lie without a hint of shame. The charge that Trump is making against the New York Times and Politico are based solely on the fallacies that fill his feeble mind. If Trump truly thinks that Truth Social is “one of the hottest sites in the world,” and that “they” know it, he is more cognitively collapsing than previously known. Also, the only ones calling the media “fake news” are Trump and his cult followers.

Trump’s post links to the ultra-rightist Washington Examiner as his source for these flagrant falsehoods. The Examiner just quotes an article on Vice News. Vice reports accurately that downloads of Truth Social did spike following the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago. But that was hardly anything to celebrate:

“In the week prior to the August 8 search of Mar-a-Lago, the Truth Social app was downloaded less than 20,000 times, averaging around 2,500 downloads per day from Apple’s app store.

“However in the week after the search, details of which were first announced publicly by Trump himself on Truth Social, it was downloaded 107,500 times, an average of 13,400 per day.”

Let’s put that into context. Twitter currently has more than two hundred million active daily users. Truth Social is hovering at about half a million. Which doesn’t really qualify it as a “hot” site. What’s more, Truth Social’s user data is sketchy at best. They report Trump as having three million followers, which is two and a half million more than the site’s total. He had 80 million on Twitter. Vice went on to say that…

“From the beginning, Truth Social has been beset by technical problems. There was initially a huge backlog of users who simply couldn’t get onto the platform. It was also only available on Apple’s platform; there is still no Android app available (it’s ‘coming soon,’ the company says) and registrations are currently closed for new users, according to the platform’s website.

For the record, the New York Times article that Trump appears to be referring to was about his childishly sarcastic “endorsements” of Democratic candidates Carolyn Maloney and Dan Goldman, who immediately rejected him. However, there doesn’t seem to be any Politico article that makes the claim that Trump is yammering about.

The bottom line is that if Trump really wants to spread his lies that Truth Social is a hotbed of online activity, he’s going to have to post them somewhere other than Truth Social where hardly anyone will see them. The site is ghost town. Which is, ironically, what Truth Social’s CEO, Devin Nunes, called Twitter on Fox News.

HUH? Trump Says Docs FBI Retrieved From Mar-a-Lago Were Covered By Attorney-Client Privilege

The evidence of Donald Trump’s criminality continues to mount with each new day. While Trump and his glassy-eyed disciples in politics and the press complain that there is no precedent for an American president to be investigated as much as Trump, what they are missing is that there is also no precedent for an American president who has been implicated in so many crimes.

Trump’s relentless whining about what he calls “hoaxes” and “witch hunts” is a poor substitute for a substantive rebuttal. It just affirms that he is an emotionally stunted coward with a persecution complex. As a result, rather than providing proof of his innocence or coherent explanations for his unsavory behavior, the only thing we get from Trump World is a stream of implausible excuses that are inevitably shown to be pure nonsense. That has been strikingly evident in his increasingly bizarre reactions to the FBI search of his Mar-a-Lago Bunker.

Trump’s past parade of pleadings could be summarized thusly: The documents that don’t exist, and which Trump refused to return when subpoenaed, were actually there, but he was using them, even though someone else packed them without his knowledge, which didn’t happen because the FBI planted them, and the documents that the FBI planted were all declassified in a secret ceremony, and once declassified they still weren’t released to the public, and can’t be released now.

However, apparently that wasn’t enough to steer attention away from his legal and moral transgressions. So on Sunday morning Trump latched unto a report from Fox News, despite his conviction that they are part of the cabal that opposes him.

The “Exclusive” report by Fox News asserted that “FBI seized Trump records covered by attorney-client privilege during search of Mar-a-Lago.” The entire story was based on anonymous sources that Trump and Fox routinely claim don’t exist. If these sources do exist – and they aren’t notorious liars in the Trump cult – you have to wonder whether they had the necessary security clearances to review the sensitive documents Trump had stashed. Fox wrote that…

“The FBI seized boxes containing records covered by attorney-client privilege and potentially executive privilege during its raid of former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, sources familiar with the investigation told Fox News.”

Based on that single report, Trump posted on his miserably failing (and grossly misnamed) Twitter ripoff, TRUTH Social, that…

“Oh great! It has just been learned that the FBI, in its now famous raid of Mar-a-Lago, took boxes of privileged “attorney-client” material, and also “executive” privileged material, which they knowingly should not have taken. By copy of this TRUTH, I respectfully request that these documents be immediately returned to the location from which they were taken. Thank you!”

First of all, it is preposterous to say that we have “learned” anything from a story on Fox (Not) News. But more to the point, the allegation that attorney-client privileged documents were among those that the FBI retrieved is absurd in the extreme. The only communications that could be designated as privileged would be private and not mixed in with official White House materials.

Furthermore, why would Trump have to learn from Fox News that documents that he removed from the White House and stored at his golf resort were privileged? Is he confessing that he had no idea what were in all of those boxes that he took? Because that would destroy his excuse that any classified documents were declassified prior to their removal. He surely couldn’t declassify documents that he didn’t know were there. Nor could he claim that any of them were covered by executive privilege.

Finally, Trump’s “request” that any documents be returned to him is downright laughable. He hasn’t offered any proof that he has any right to any of the documents. And he cannot simply declare that his post on social media constitutes a formal, legally authorized demand. Just as he cannot declassify documents with a wave of his tiny hand. The only thing that Trump can reasonably expect to be returned are indictments for his copious criminal activities.

Trump’s TRUTH Social Twitter Ripoff Suffers Another Setback Due to His Criminal Corruption

When Twitter permanently suspended Donald Trump two days after the January 6th insurrection that he incited, they said that it was “due to the risk of further incitement of violence.” There was a collective sigh of relief in America in anticipation that his maniacal raving might be muffled for a while. Unfortunately, that was not to be.

Soon after Trump was given the boot by Twitter, he launched his own social media operation, Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG). The core of this scam was TRUTH Social, a blatant ripoff of Twitter built on rage and revenge. He promised that it would be a bastion of free speech, despite the fact that its terms of service explicitly forbid posts that criticized Trump and users were banned for posting the truth about January 6th.

Right from the start this racket rocketed to failure in record time. Digital World Acquisition Corporation (DWAC), the shell company that was expected to take the new business public, has declined in value by 80% from its high mark last October.

DWAC has suffered a series of the financial and legal setbacks that are so common to any Trump enterprise. And now there is another adversity owing to Trump’s inbred immorality:

“Digital World Acquisition Corp., the special purpose acquisition company planning to merge with the company behind former President Donald Trump’s Truth Social platform, is asking its shareholders to delay the deadline for completing the deal until 2023, in part because of federal investigations into the transaction. […] DWAC warned that may not even be enough time, though, noting the investigations might hamper its ability to win regulatory approval, which it said ‘may require us to liquidate.'”

The “federal investigations” to which this notice refers includes a Grand Jury in New York, for which all of DWAC’s board members have been subpoenaed. At the same time the Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating whether TMTG and DWAC executives improperly coordinated with each other and engaged in insider trading.

These probes have contributed to the cratering of the value of Trump’s crime vehicle, DWAC. It may also explain why Trump himself bailed on his crooked company. Just weeks before the subpoenas were served, Trump removed himself and Don Jr from the board of TMTG.

Even worse, from Trump’s perspective, is that if this deal doesn’t go through he won’t be able to pocket the billions of dollars that have been raised by his criminal cronies to finance this flagrant fraud. Bearing in mind that the only purpose of this sham venture was to either exact vengeance on Trump’s enemies, or enrich him personally, he appears to have failed on both counts. And it will just add to the list of criminal offences that Trump and his crime family could be held liable for.

Trump Drops an Utterly Unhinged Harangue to Celebrate Himself on the 4th of July

There is nothing more predictable than Donald Trump turning the focus of any and every public event or commentary to himself. He is a textbook example of a malignant narcissist for whom all attention must always be placed on him no matter what the occasion. And this 4th of July is no different.

Trump is observing this Independence Day by throwing another one of his infantile distemper tantrums. This one comes in a burst of petulant rage that has surely been aggravated by the accumulating evidence of his criminality being presented by the House Select Committee investigating the January 6th insurrection that he incited.

The multi-post tirade that Trump hammered out on his Twitter clone website, TRUTH Social (that is both failing financially and flailing legally), was rife with his tediously repetitious whining and insults stemming from his delusions of victimhood. If nothing else, Trump has affirmed his place in history as America’s biggest crybaby.

The rants that Trump posted cover a narrow range of topics mainly devoted to his “Big Lie” that the 2020 presidential election was ‘rigged” and “stolen” from him. Never mind that after 20 months, and sixty court challenges, he has failed to produce a shred of evidence. What follows are some of his key points, with reality-based annotations:

Trump began by assailing the Republican vice-chair of the Committee as “despicable human being Liz Cheney.” As usual, he is incapable of factually rebutting anything that she has said, so he resorts to childish name-calling.

He complained that “HER Fake Unselect Committee may recommend CRIMINAL CHARGES against” him. If he really believes the Committee is “fake,” then why is he so worried about the charges?

He repeated his ridiculous boast that he “got more votes than any sitting President.” So what? He also got fewer votes than Joe Biden. You know, the winner. And both candidates got large vote totals because the population – and the electorate – are bigger.

He’s thinks the Committee should “press charges instead against those that cheated on the Election.” They would if that weren’t a figment of his perverse imagination. He’s tried dozens of times to assert his cheating claim in court. And he lost every case, even those with Republican judges.

Returning to his name-calling, Trump lashed out at “the highly partisan Unselect Committee of political Thugs.” Of course, the Committee has two very conservative Republicans. Although there is a partisan aspect to the witnesses who have testified against him. They are all Republicans.

Naturally, he had to unleash his objections to the “Impeachment Hoax #1, Impeachment Hoax # 2, the ‘No Collusion’ Mueller Report and, overall, the GREATEST WITCH HUNT IN THE HISTORY OF THE USA.” True to form, everything that Trump doesn’t like is either a hoax or a witch hunt.

He wants the Committee to “go after the people who have been rioting.” That’s exactly what the Department of Justice is doing. In fact, some 800 of them them have already been arrested for storming Congress and trying to overthrow the government, at Trump’s behest.

Then he adds “No, let’s get ‘Trump’!” Don’t worry, Donald, they’ll get around to you. Also, why do you put your own name in quotes, as if it’s a fictional reference?

Finally, Trump says that “none of these terrible events would have happened if I were President!!!” First of all, it’s good to see him admit that he is not president. But it’s preposterous for him to claim that the events he’s griping about, most of which he is responsible for, wouldn’t have happened were he still occupying the White House. And he was responsible for many other horrendous events when he was there as well.

And that was Trump’s 4th of July message to America. That was what his glassy-eyed cult disciples regard as a patriotic address. But then what else would you expect from the guy who refused to visit a war memorial for American soldiers because he considers them to be “losers” and “suckers”?

LOCK HIM UP: Trump’s TRUTH Social Scam is Being Criminally Investigated By a Federal Grand Jury

America’s most notorious scam artist, Donald Trump, is once again the subject of a criminal investigation into his shady business dealings. It is endlessly perplexing that there are still rubes who fall for the swindles perpetrated by Trump, who has presided of multiple bankruptcies, fraudulent charities, fake universities, and grifting operations whose only purpose was to deceitfully enrich himself.

The latest con game played by Trump is his already dreadfully failing Twitter ripoff, TRUTH Social. This project grew out of Trump’s desire to seek revenge on Twitter for banning him due to his repeated lying and violence-inciting disinformation. With the founding of his Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG), the recidivist racketeer sought to further the fleecing of his dimwitted disciples.

Part of the plot included taking the scheme public by merging with a shell company, Digital World Acquisition Corp (DWAC). Now DWAC and its board of directors have been subpoenaed by a federal Grand Jury in New York. According to CNBC…

“A federal criminal investigation is threatening the proposed merger between former President Donald Trump’s social media enterprise and a special purpose acquisition company, a deal that would give the combined company access to billions of dollars in public markets.

“That company, Digital World Acquisition Corp., revealed in a securities filing Monday that it became aware on June 16 that each member of its board of directors received subpoenas from a federal grand jury in New York.”

In addition to the Grand Jury proceedings, the SEC is investigating whether TMTG and DWAC executives improperly coordinated with each other and engaged in insider trading. They have also partnered with a Chinese firm with a dubious legal past. And the SEC filing even mentions Trump’s prior business failures.

These probes have contributed to the cratering of the value of Trump’s crime vehicle, DWAC. It has declined by more than 75% since March. And that’s even after Trump began posting on TRUTH Social – or perhaps because of it. He now says that he will never return to Twitter. But like everything else he says, that can hardly be trusted. He is also appealing the dismissal of his ludicrous lawsuit alleging that Twitter violated his free speech rights by banning him.

With each new day there seems be a new crime that Trump is being investigated for. His long list of illegalities incudes financial scams, political malfeasance, and sexual assaults. And with every discovery of his legal and personal depravity, he whines that he is the victim of a “hoax” or a “witch hunt.” However, his complaints might be more credible if there weren’t so much witchcraft being revealed.

UPDATE: It turns out that Trump bailed on his crooked company. Just weeks before the subpoenas were served, Trump removed himself and Don Jr from the board of TMTG. He is also no longer named as the company’s chairman. Unfortunately for him, all of the criminal activity took place while he was in still charge. So if he thinks he can escape legal liability, he’s going to be sorely disappointed.

Trump’s Twitter Ripoff (TRUTH Social) Has Lost 36% of its Value Since He Began Posting On It

The myth of Donald Trump’s popularity is rapidly unwinding. Sure, he may still hold a few braindead cult disciples in a hypnotic trance, and he continues to recruit more violent insurrectionists with unethical and unfulfillable promises of future pardons, but the rest of the nation is increasingly anxious to be rid of him.

Recent polling shows that voters are more likely to support Democrats when they are told that the alternative is Republicans who are beholden to Trump and his Ultra-MAGA agenda. And the hearings being held by the House Select Committee investigating the deadly January 6th insurrection incited by Trump are turning public opinion against him. Those hearings are only at the half way point, with many more witnesses and incriminating revelations to come. Meanwhile, nearly 6 in 10 Americans say that Trump should charged criminally for his role in the Capitol Hill riots.

In the midst of his crumbling congregation of crackpots, Trump is frantically posting on his Twitter clone, TRUTH Social, to try to shore up support and garner some of the infatuation that his fetid ego feeds on. Unfortunately for Trump, that miserably failing social mess isn’t going to provide the blind idolatry that he craves. It has failed to attract much of an audience, and the financial foundations underpinning its operation are rotting to the core.

TRUTH Social was announced in October of 2021, and Trump posted on it one time, then disappeared for months. More recently he declared that he would never return to Twitter, even if Elon Musk’s bid to acquire it were successful (which is doubtful).

At the beginning of June Trump finally began to patronize his website and the lonely Deplorables who reside there. His postings were typically festering with rage and riddled with lies. But his presence seems to have had an adverse affect on the site’s fortunes, or lack thereof. Since Trump began posting regularly, the shell company, Digital World Acquisition Corporation (DWAC), that was expected to take the business public, has declined in value by 36%. That’s just in the two weeks that Trump has been posting.

Apparently Trump’s dimwit-icisms didn’t do much to boost interest in this debacle. Not that it was especially prosperous before. It has declined by more than 80% since its high mark last October. And the reasons are pretty obvious. For one thing, the company is being investigated by the Securities and Exchange Commission for possible fraud.

What’s more, with Trump posting his tedious whines about having lost the 2020 presidential election, and his infantile insults directed at anyone who is less than worshipful, how could anyone stay interested for long? For instance, his last posting exemplifies the problem…

“I have sooo many witnesses to everything good, but the highly partisan and one sided Unselect Committee of political hacks has not (sic) interest in hearing or seeing them. This Witch Hunt could all be ended quickly if they did!”

For the record, the Committee is not only interested in hearing from Trump’s witnesses, they subpoenaed many of them. Most refused to comply. They include his White House and campaign staffers Peter Navarro, Dan Scavino, Mark Meadows, Stephen Bannon, and Rudy Giuliani. Also Trump supporters in Congress Kevin McCarthy, Andy Biggs, Jim Jordan, Scott Perry, Ronny Jackson, and Mo Brooks. Of the Trump insiders who did show (Bill Barr, Bill Stepien, Greg Jacob, and Michael Luttig), they offered testimony that mainly contributed to the abundant evidence of Trump’s guilt.

If Trump really wants the Committee to hear his side of the story, he could direct his supporters to stop obstructing and agree to testify. He won’t. Better yet, he could volunteer to testify himself. The Committee would welcome him and give him as much time as he wants. But that would require him to have the courage to show up and tell the truth – two personality traits that he has never had.

However, Trump can be expected to keep whining to his followers online, because that’s a trait that he acknowledged is one of his best when he bragged that “I am the most fabulous whiner.”

Trump Rants Hysterically as His PRAVDA Social Bans Users Who Post the Truth About January 6th

It was just a matter of time before the truth came out about TRUTH Social, the Twitter clone that Donald Trump launched in order to assuage his massive, yet fragile, ego after being exiled from Twitter. The site was disingenuously flaunted as a would-be bastion of free speech where anything goes including, apparently, blatant lies and undisguised racism.

Well, it didn’t take long for those deliberate misrepresentations to be revealed as nothing but empty hype and exploitation. With the commencement of the House Select Committee’s hearings on the January 6th insurrection that Trump incited (and is now typically calling a hoax), Trump has gone totally off the rails as his fear of finally being held accountable for his crimes kicks in. Despite the fact that Fox ‘News’ refused to cover the hearings live, Trump knows that the American people are watching the drama that’s unfolding and that his treachery will be the key plot point.

The first order of business was to excise any truthful discussion of the hearings from his TRUTH(less) (anti)Social scam site. Variety is reporting that…

“The irony is rich: Truth Social, Donald Trump’s Twitter copycat claiming it is ‘free from political discrimination,’ has reportedly banned users who posted information from Thursday’s congressional hearing on the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol — in which the former president is a key player.”

Surprised? You shouldn’t be. The site was never intended to be a free speech platform. It’s terms of service state that users cannot “disparage, tarnish, or otherwise harm, in our opinion, us or the Site.” So in order to use the site you must first agree to never criticize Trump. Unflinching fealty to Dear Leader Trump is demanded, and any disobedience will be punished. And offenders are already facing the consequences of infidelity.

What’s more, Trump himself divulged the actual purpose of the site when he declared that he would never return to Twitter, even if Elon Musk’s sketchy bid to acquire it is successful and his suspension is revoked. “TRUTH is a platform for my voice,” Trump told Fox News, adding that “TRUTH Social will be a voice for me.” So like everything else in his world, it’s all about Trump.

In an effort to deflect from the facts being exposed in the hearings, Trump is lashing out wildly with ever more deranged allegations of the 2020 presidential election being “rigged” and “stolen” from him. He’s posted a flurry of fantastical fiction that he calls a “massive amount of irrefutable evidence” of election fraud. Never mind that it’s been repeatedly refuted by more than sixty court cases and many high level officials from his own administration.

Meanwhile, Trump’s Twitter ban defying spokes-shill dropped 35 tweets in less than hour, after promising to abandon Twitter for Trump’s site. Most of her tweets were retweets of her own election lies dating back as much as year. This is just another part of Trump’s futile effort to shift attention away from his treasonous guilt. But the only thing that it accomplishes is to make him look more guilty and more pathetically desperate.
