Crybaby Trump Whines that Fox News Hosted Bill Maher, Who Trump Has Hosted at the White House

Determined to preserve his crown as the “Most Fabulous Whiner” (his own words) to have ever occupied the White House, Donald Trump just lashed out at his own Ministry of Propaganda, Fox News, for having the audacity to interview alleged comedian Bill Maher.

Donald Trump, Wah

The comment posted to his desperately failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, was a tediously long tirade that traversed a vast array of unrelated subjects. Trump likes to frame these incoherent rants positively as what he calls “weaving.” Which is also what they call what drunk drivers do on the highway. But Trump’s inability to focus is more representative of serious mental impairment. Which partially explains why the American people are so sick and tired of his demented antics.

SEE THIS: FLYING KETCHUP ALERT: Trump is Polling Worse than Both Biden and Carter on Inflation

The comment that Trump posted Saturday night (see below) was a typical display of the seething rage that is eating him up. It’s impossible to make any sense out of most of it, but there are a few passages that should be recognized as warnings of the psychological collapse that is already in progress. He began by saying that…

“I hate seeing Fox, and other Conservative Outlets, constantly making Low Rated Bill Maher ‘relevant’ as it pertains to the Republican Party, and beyond. Bill Maher is a weak and ineffective person who I got to know very well during my dinner with him at the White House.”

That’s right. Trump is outraged that Fox News would dare to invite Maher onto their network, even though it was okay for Trump to invite him to the White House. Trump also claims to have gotten to know Maher “very well” over a single dinner. And Trump found that Maher is “a weak and ineffective person,” and therefore requires elaborate, lengthy, and irrational rebuttals.

Never mind that Maher actually praised Trump following their dinner. He claimed to like Trump and described him as “gracious.” But any show of respect or submission to Trump is quickly forgotten if it isn’t constantly repeated and without any hint of criticism.

True to form, Trump is now lambasting Maher in terms that fail to be comprehensible. For instance, Trump said that Maher’s request for a drink upon entering the White House was both “very endearing” and “absolutely pathetic.” But then Trump switched gears to complain about Maher’s interview of California Gov. Gavin Newsom. Trump is viscerally afraid of Newsom and frequently maligns him in the childish manner that only Trump can muster. He said that…

“I happened to watch Gavin Newscum, an admittedly Low IQ person, who said he can’t read a speech, is dumb, and essentially, incompetent. […] Gavin went on and on about how good California is doing, while it’s doing very poorly, having, by far, the worst year it’s ever had.”

Of course, none of Trump’s complaints ever approached reality. Trump’s despicable and false reference to Newsom’s “admittedly Low IQ” was actually spun from Newsom’s honest and relatable revelations about his his youthful issues with dyslexia, not IQ. As for California, it is the most profitable state in the nation. It contributed about 14.5% of the total U.S. GDP in 2025. In fact, during Newsom’s governorship it has become the fourth biggest economy in the world, following the United States, China, and Germany.

Nevertheless, Trump paraded his usual litany of lies, accusing Newsom of failing with regard to homelessness, transportation, and wildfires in Los Angeles, that Trump has said he would have extinguished by turning on a giant imaginary faucet in Northern California. He really believes that water flows “downhill” from north to south.

Trump closed by blasting Fox as “weak, stupid, and ineffective” for interviewing Maher, who he also said is “slightly more talented than Jimmy Kimmel.” That’s actually a cheap, backhanded slap at Kimmel, who Trump is obsessed with, and is determined to banish from the airwaves. It will never stop being disconcerting that Trump unleashes harsher rhetoric against Kimmel and other comedians than he does against Iran, Russia, or international terrorists.

Trump posted a long tirade attacking Bill Maher and Gavin Newsom. It's a steaming pile of lies and hate. Don't bother reading it unless you have a strong stomach. But just look at it and be dumbfounded at how we got to a place where someone this deranged holds a position of power.

WHAT 1ST AMENDMENT? Melania and Donald Trump Demand that Jimmy Kimmel Be Taken Off the Air

In the wake of the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner Saturday night, Donald Trump has been parading around the media making the case that he’s a brave hero who survived an attempt by Democrats to terminate his presidency. It’s just more of the myth making bullpucky that Trump is so well known for disseminating.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump Baby and Melania Trump

Consistent with Trump’s enduring fixation on demonizing his political opponents and the free press, Trump’s insignificant other, Melania, made a rare public statement that advances his determination to muzzle the media, particularly when it engages in accurate and honest criticism of him. On this occasion, Melania sought to respond to a joke made by Jimmy Kimmel last week.

SEE THIS: Jimmy Kimmel Hosts the ALTERNATIVE White House Correspondents’ Dinner Featuring Snowflake Trump

Outraged by Kimmel’s audacity to deliver a comedy monologue, Melania posted a comment on X/Twitter to express her dismay over a single line that referred to her and her charade of a marriage to Donald, the serial adulterer. What Kimmel said was that she had a “glow like an expectant widow.” In her hyperbolic overreaction Melania raged that…

Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America.

“People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate. A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him.

“Enough is enough. It is time for ABC to take a stand. How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.

Melania has some massive testicular fortitude to complain about Kimmel’s allegedly “hateful and violent rhetoric”? Has she ever met her hateful HINO (Husband In Name Only)? And yet she brazenly calls for what amounts to the abolishment of the Constitution’s First Amendment, saying that “Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening.” She then demands that ABC “take a stand [against] Kimmel’s atrocious behavior.”

This is just another attempt by the Trump regime to ban Kimmel from broadcasting, which they tried and failed to do last year. Disappointed by his failure, Trump whined that “I can’t believe ABC Fake News gave Jimmy Kimmel his job back. The White House was told by ABC that his Show was cancelled!”

Following Melania’s tweet, Trump chimed in with one of his own. It was a tediously long and incoherent comment that affirmed Melania’s anti-free press sentiments babbling about “Kimmel’s despicable call to violence,” and demanding that “Jimmy Kimmel should be immediately fired by Disney and ABC.”

Of course, nothing in Kimmel’s jokes advocated anything approaching violence. Melania’s widow glow could be the result of Trump’s advanced age, poor health, and fast food diet. To the contrary, it is Trump who has been relentlessly “corrosive” and “despicable” and that promoted “political sickness.” In a 60 Minutes special segment Sunday night, Trump told Norah O’Donnell that “I do think the hate speech of the Democrats is very dangerous, much more so.” That was right after he called O’Donnell “a horrible person” and a “disgrace.” Never mind that a report by his own Justice Department found that it is right-wingers who have been responsible for most political violence.

MORE HERE: Trump’s Justice Dept Disappears Study that Proves Most Violence is Caused By Far Right Radicals

Trump’s DoJ later tried (but failed) to disappear that report. In the meantime, Trump has literally called for the death of sitting members of Congress. He celebrated the death of lifelong public servant and decorated veteran, Robert Mueller. And he has maligned Democrats and the press as “treasonous,” “lunatics,” “vermin,” and “the enemy of the people.” So any complaints that he – or Melania – have now about divisive rhetoric are – to put it in technical terms – BULLSHIT!

Jimmy Kimmel Hosts the ALTERNATIVE White House Correspondents’ Dinner Featuring Snowflake Trump

On Saturday the White House Correspondents’ Association is holding their annual gala dinner. However, there are some notable differences with this year’s event from those held previously. For one thing, this will be the first time that Donald Trump will attend as president. Which many people regard as an incentive to skip the whole thing.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Jimmy Kimmel with Trump baby

Another difference is that this year’s entertainment will be provided by a magician/hypnotist, rather than a comedian. Is that because Trump’s ego is too delicate to tolerate any humor at his expense, or is it some sort of attempt to plant post-hypnotic MAGA suggestions into the audience? In any case, it is being reported that Trump will not stick around after he delivers his remarks, that are expected to be a “revenge” rant aimed at the media that he despises. So he will miss the hypnotist, as well as the awards that are being given to journalists, many of which are for articles revealing his innumerable failures.

SEE THIS: The White House Correspondents Association Awards Are Gonna Really Piss Trump Off

Consequently, on Thursday night Jimmy Kimmel sought to remedy that absence of a comedian at the dinner by putting together his own version of the speech that he would give if he were the guest speaker (video below). He called it “The Alternative White House Correspondents’ Dinner,” and introduced it saying that…

“Typically somebody funny shows up and roasts the luminaries, the president, and everyone. But our president is a delicate snowflake, with the the thinnest fat skin ever. And that means there’s gonna be no comedian this year. So I thought why not take a page from the ‘Kid Rock Alternative Halftime Show.”

Whereupon Kimmel presented a hilarious address that mocked Trump, Melania, JD Vance, Pete Hegseth, Kash Patel, Robert Kennedy Jr. Stephen Miller, and FCC chairman Brendan Carr. Some of whom will be at the real dinner because CBS, in a show of pathetic capitulation, has invited Hegseth and Miller as their guests. Here a few examples from Kimmel’s speech that would definitely upset our Fragile-Flower-in-Chief…

“We’ll get you all dressed up in formal wear, dresses, tuxedos. I haven’t seen this much black since every page of the Trump Epstein files.”

“We’re gonna have fun tonight, and I’m happy you decided to stay, Mr. President. And don’t worry if we bruise your ego, it’ll only make your hands look less disgusting.”

“The president didn’t want me to tell any jokes about him tonight, but he also didn’t want to pay me $130,000 to shut up. Sorry Mushroom Dick.”

“I get why you think you’re Jesus. This guy, every time he walks into a room, people say, Christ, he’s back.”

“You’re looking good, Mr. President. Who did your makeup? Kraft Singles?

“President Trump has accomplished so much during his second term. He passed new incentives for oil and gas. He put the brakes on solar and wind. That will be your legacy, sir, breaking wind and passing gas.”

Can you imagine Trump finding any of that funny? Kimmel also paid tribute to Trump by presenting him with another of the fake participation trophies that he loves so much. This one is the much coveted “Burger King of Comedy Gold Award.”

It will be interesting to see just how badly Trump foams at the mouth while spewing hate during his remarks. And the quick cuts to his angry reactions to other speakers will also provide some entertainment. And much of that will likely be unintentionally hilarious. But for actual comedy value, we will have to be satisfied with Kimmel’s fake speech. So for your entertainment pleasure…

Oscar Winning Documentary Director (Mr. Nobody Against Putin) Notes Grim Parallels to America

Sunday night’s Academy Awards show was mostly focused on recognizing cinematic achievement and the people who make make it all possible. But there were a few moments that captured some of the zeitgeist that is circulating among the American viewers of the program.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Trump with Oscar

First of all, it should be noted that the evening was hosted by Conan O’Brien. This likely made it a must watch for Donald Trump, who can’t resist hate-watching comedians who so brilliantly ridicule him. O’Brien included a comment in his opening monologue that mocked Trump’s egomaniacal penchant for naming things after himself, saying that “We are coming to you live from the ‘Has a Small Penis Theater.’ Let’s see him put his name in front of that.” Which is a great beginning for this program that followed the Writer’s Guild ceremony last week, where another comedian that Trump hates, Stephen Colbert, received a special award.

SEE THIS: Stephen Colbert Delivers a Hilarious Acceptance/Farewell Speech at Writers Guild Award Ceremony

Notable among the night’s honorees was the winner for Documentary Feature. And no, it wasn’t for the dreadful “Melania” flop. The winner was “Mr. Nobody Against Putin,” a documentary about a Russian educator who courageously defied Vladimir Putin’s tyrannical regime. The director, David Borenstein, gave one of the night’s most heartfelt and moving acceptance speeches, saying that…

“Mr. Nobody Against Putin is about how you lose your country. And what we saw when working with this footage, it’s that you lose it through countless small little acts of complicity.

“When we act complicit, when a government murders people on the streets of our major cities, when we don’t say anything, when oligarchs take over the media and control how we can produce it and consume, we all face a moral choice. But luckily, even a ‘nobody’ is more powerful than you think.”

David Borenstein, the director of the Oscar winning documentary "Mr. Nobody Against Putin" delivers a stirring acceptance speech about "how you lose your country" that every American must pay attention to.

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2026-03-16T11:32:20.092Z

Borenstein’s remarks were a warning for Americans. The parallels between his documentary’s subject, and what the U.S. is going through now, are impossible to ignore. And the danger of complicity is ever-present as Trump’s thugs are shooting peaceful protesters, while his MAGA toadies in Congress and the “Justice” Department are silent about such atrocities. Even worse, they applaud him for it.

Borenstein’s comments about the media were especially pertinent. Many media corporations have already subjugated themselves to Trump. Whether it’s for fear of retaliation or genuine agreement is irrelevant. The result is a compliant and complicit media who betray the American principles enshrined in the Constitution. Which. by extension, is a betrayal of the American people.

Another Trump enemy, Jimmy Kimmel, was the presenter for the Documentary Feature award. And he had a few words for Trump as well. Kimmel lauded documentary filmmakers noting that…

“There are some countries whose leaders don’t support free speech. I’m not at liberty to say which. Let’s just leave it at North Korea and CBS.

[Adding praise for] “filmmakers dedicated to telling the truth, oftentimes at great risk to make films that teach us, that call out injustice, that inspire us to take action. And there are also documentaries where you walk around the White House trying on shoes.”

Jimmy Kimmel presenting at the Oscars: "There are some countries whose leaders don't support free speech. I'm not at liberty to say which. Let's just leave it at North Korea and CBS."

LateNighter (@latenightercom.bsky.social) 2026-03-16T01:21:41.910Z

It safe to assume that if Trump were watching this program he is seething with petulant anger and collecting ketchup bottles to throw at walls that never did anything to him. He is also likely plotting his revenge by posting some childishly nasty insults on Truth Social. That’ll teach ’em.

However, Trump will never accept the fact that, outside of his glassy-eyed cult followers, he is widely loathed and that most Americans can’t wait for him to be gone. Maybe if we invent some fake entertainment group to give Trump a made up award, with a cash payoff, in exchange for resigning, he will take the prize and the money and run. It’s worth a shot.

SO MUCH WINNING? Trump’s State of the Union Ratings Ranks Near the Bottom for the Past 25 Years

On Tuesday Donald Trump delivered what many are saying was the most unhinged, hostile, and lie-riddled State of the Union address (SOTU) that he – or anyone – has ever given. It was, therefore, a typical display of his acutely warped persona that is permanently set to eleven on the scale of presidential derangement.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump Walking the Plank

Trump may have regarded this exercise in self-aggrandizement, infantile insults, and flagrant dishonesty, to be his best opportunity to reverse the downward trending of his presidency. Most polls show him at record lows for approval, and he is surely being eaten up by the fact that he is even trailing his arch nemesis, Joe Biden.

SEE THIS: CUE TRUMP TANTRUM: Multiple Polls Find that Most Americans Favor Biden Over Trump

Now another metric of success that Trump regards as the most important of all is flashing bright red signals of disaster. His television ratings for the speech have come in near the bottom for all SOTU speeches for the past 25 years. According to the Hollywood Reporter

“Trump’s 107-minute speech (the longest on record) drew about 27.8 million viewers across the seven most watched broadcast and cable outlets: ABC, CBS, CNN, Fox News, the Fox broadcast network, MS Now and NBC. That’s down by about 12 percent from 31.45 million viewers for those same networks for Trump’s address to Congress last year. […] Fox News led the way with 9.1 million viewers.”

The only years where Trump was not dead last were one for Biden in 2021 during COVID, and another for Biden in 2023 when inflation hit its peak at about 8%. Note that inflation at that time was higher worldwide than in the U.S., and that Biden brought it down to about 3% before his term ended. Whereupon his last SOTU rebounded to be higher than Trump again. Here are the numbers…

  • 2026 (Trump): 27.8 million*
  • 2025 (Trump): 31.45 million#
  • 2024 (Biden): 32.2 million
  • 2023 (Biden): 27.3 million
  • 2022 (Biden): 38.2 million*
  • 2021 (Biden): 26.9 million#
  • 2020 (Trump): 37.2 million
  • 2019 (Trump): 46.8 million
  • 2018 (Trump): 45.6 million*
  • 2017 (Trump): 47.7 million#
  • 2016 (Obama): 31.3 million
  • 2015: (Obama): 31.7 million
  • 2014: (Obama): 33.3 million*
  • 2013: (Obama): 33.5 million
  • 2012: (Obama): 37.8 million
  • 2011: (Obama): 42.8 million
  • 2010: (Obama): 48. million*
  • 2009: (Obama): 52.4 million#
  • 2008: (Bush): 37.5 million
  • 2007: (Bush): 45.5 million
  • 2006: (Bush): 41.7 million*
  • 2005: (Bush): 38.4 million
  • 2004: (Bush): 43.4 million
  • 2003: (Bush): 62.1 million
  • # Joint Session of Congress
  • * Ratings for a speech preceding a midterm election like the current one.

Given Trump’s sub-par performance, both with ratings and the substance of his speech, it is highly unlikely that it will have any positive impact on the upcoming midterm elections. Although some negative impact could be felt. And the post-speech surveys bear that out…

If Trump thinks that his lie-riddled, hostile State of the Union speech is going to boost his approval ratings, he is gonna be sorely disappointed. Followed by a massive meltdown and more totalitarian raving.CNN poll: "This was actually his least well-received speech."

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2026-02-25T18:59:35.150Z

For those of you who missed, or more likely deliberately avoided, the speech, Jimmy Kimmel has helpfully provided a summary version of it that should be all anyone would need. His “State of the Union in 60 Seconds” includes Trump insisting that there has just been “too much winning.” Which is not validated by the polls or ratings. We also see him shouting at the Democrats in the chamber that “These people are crazy.” It’s rather bizarre to see Trump heckling Democrats from the podium, while he whines about being heckled from the audience.

In conclusion, it’s safe to say that Republicans are headed for a massive blowout in November. Although, don’t let that make you work less diligently to topple Trump and his MAGA Republicans. If Democrats and other patriots stay committed, the result will be, in technical terms, that “TRUMP IS TOAST!” And America – and the world – will be all the better for it.

Trump’s FCC Threatens to Change ‘Equal Time’ Rules to Suppress the Free Speech of Trump Critics

In Donald Trump’s ongoing campaign to nullify the First Amendment of the Constitution, and specifically it’s provisions to protect freedom of the press, he is becoming ever more flagrant and dangerous in his repressive scheming. And he is exhibiting his infamous weakness and fear of the tenets of democracy that shape American political and social principles.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump and Media - ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, FOX

Trump is now instructing his Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to alter the long-standing rules regarding “Equal Time” in order to put an end to the criticism he receives from television talk show hosts and their guests. It’s just the latest tactic that he has deployed to control what the American people are allowed to see and hear on television and other media.

SEE THIS: HOLY CR*P! Trump Floats Executive Order to Dictate to TV Networks What They Are Allowed to Air

Trump’s new attempt to muzzle the media is an order to his FCC chairman and chief censorship czar, Brendan Carr, to alter the way the FCC regulates “Equal Time” rules. For decades there have been exceptions for bona fide newsworthy interviews, whether they take place on a news program or an entertainment related talk show. But since Trump has been the subject of so much well deserved criticism, he is seeking to stifle his critics any way that he can. According to the Hollywood Reporter

“The FCC said Wednesday that it is clarifying its guidance on its political equal time rules, a change that could end long-standing exemptions for interviews with politicians on shows like The View, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Tonight Show and The Late Show.” […]

“News interviews have long been exempted from the requirement, but the FCC under Carr is pursuing a novel argument that late night and daytime talk shows are biased to the extent that they shouldn’t qualify. Among the factors in considering the carve-out is newsworthiness.” […]

“In a statement, Anna Gomez, the lone Democrat on the FCC, said the move represents an ‘escalation in this FCC’s ongoing campaign to censor and control speech.’ She added, ‘Broadcasters should not feel pressured to water down, sanitize, or avoid critical coverage out of fear of regulatory retaliation.'”

It is no coincidence that Trump’s actions are aimed at programs such as “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” Trump has been determined to shut those programs down due to their frequent jokes and satirical humor about him. Trump has never been able to take a joke. His efforts have resulted in Colbert’s program being canceled (effective in May), and he got Kimmel suspended, but for only three days when outraged viewers complained to the network.

After the FCC made its announcement regarding “Equal Time,” Trump posted a link to this story on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social. His link contained a comment that specifically referenced the ABC daytime talk show “The View” and Kimmel’s late-night talk show.

This is just another threat to First Amendment protected speech. The changes that are being floated by Trump’s FCC would make it virtually impossible for programs like Kimmel’s to ever book a political guest, or even an entertainer who has political opinions. There would be no practical way for them to also book anyone with a different opinion. And, of course, it would impinge on their free speech rights to produce programs free of government intervention.

It’s extraordinarily hypocritical that Trump and his MAGA GOP are suddenly in favor of government asserting this sort of control when they have long advocated for small government that kept out of matters such as these. Now they are craving more government interference than ever. And they are cheering Trump on when he wields the power of his office to suppress anyone who is insufficiently worshipful of him. Such as his many lawsuits against the media, including a new threat unleashed Thursday morning against pollsters who had the audacity to publish surveys showing how despised Trump is…

CRYBABY TRUMP is whining again. This time about polls that correctly show his approval ratings in the toilet.Typically, Trump lies about everything. And he says that he is filing (another) lawsuit against the press for doing their job and conducting accurate polls. #TrumpIsUnfitForOffice

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2026-01-22T18:12:40.334Z

Trump won’t be happy until he has banished every one of his critics from all media. He’s following the playbook of his heroes and mentors, Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping, and Kim Jong Un. But he isn’t going to get away with it. In America we have the Constitution on our side. And as long as the millions of patriots who cherish freedom stay strong and rise up to quash Trump and his censorious comrades, he will fail again and again and again.

LOLOL: Jimmy Kimmel Crushes Trump in Poll Despite Having No Talent or Ratings (According to Trump)

Nothing is more devastating to Donald Trump than any affront to his massive yet fragile ego. He is perpetually obsessed with numbers related to his public profile: crowd size, ratings and polls. And he refers to them incessantly, generally citing only those that are flagrantly biased in his favor, misrepresenting their findings, or simply making them up.

Donald Trump, Stock Market

Lately Trump has taken a special interest in late night comedy shows on TV. Particularly Jimmy Kimmel Live, whose program Trump managed to get suspended for a few days because Kimmel dared to tell jokes that revealed the truth about Trump. When Kimmel was brought back on Trump suffered a severe emotional breakdown, manifesting in a barrage of typically Trumpian insults and threats…

SEE THIS: Toddler Trump Throws Tantrum, Threatens to Sue ABC for Restoring Jimmy Kimmel and Free Speech

Ever since his return to the air, Kimmel has demonstrated that he has not been intimidated by the Trump regime and has no intention of softening his comedic approach to the Crybaby-in-Chief. On Monday night Kimmel’s monologue (video below) featured a poll wherein Trump was soundly beaten by Kimmel in approval ratings. This is just the sort of news that leads to a Trump meltdown. Kimmel began by saying that…

“According to YouGov, which is a serious polling site, I am more popular than the president of the United States. Remember the guy who keeps saying I have no ratings? Well, that makes two of us.

“They polled more than a 1,000 people and I lead Trump by 16 points. I’m at plus 3, he’s at minus 13. It’s nice, but considering the fact that I’m not a convicted felon, a friend of Jeffrey Epstein, and I’ve never paid off a porn star, or sent a team of masked goons into a park to pull an old lady away from her grandchildren, I feel like my rating should be higher maybe than this. At this point finding a toenail in your salad has a 7 point lead over Donald Trump.”

JIMMY KIMMEL BEATS TRUMP!"According to YouGov, which is a serious polling site, I am more popular than the president of the United States. Remember the guy who keeps saying I have no ratings? Well, that makes two of us."

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2025-10-07T16:51:14.695Z

OUCH! Kimmel makes a good point about his ratings being the low side despite the fact that he isn’t a repulsive slimeball with a criminal record. Kimmel still surpasses Trump handily even after all of Trump’s slanderous outrage and relentless and defamatory efforts to muddy up Kimmel’s reputation. And yet, Kimmel continues to take the high road and express a little sympathy for poor baby Trump…

“I hope he doesn’t see this. You know I don’t like to upset him. But I think he might be upset because the White House put out a statement this afternoon – this is a real statement.

‘Over 77 million Americans showed up on election day to cast their ballots for president Donald J. Trump, who is delivering on his overwhelming mandate to put America first. Jimmy Kimmel prays every night to garner a fraction of that support to keep his show on air after ratings dropped 64% last week. Sad!’

“You know what else is sad? That the president of the United States has a lower approval rating than Diddy and diarrhea. That’s what’s sad. If he’s looking to improve his approval ratings, I have an idea. Release the Epstein files.”

Trump is unlikely to take Kimmel’s advice. But that’s only because he knows that his name is plastered all over the pages of the Epstein files. Which is also why Trump is constantly trying to change the subject to distract the American people. He’s sending military troops to invade several peaceful American cities. He’s blowing up possibly innocent fisherman in the Caribbean. And he orchestrated a government shutdown that will cause real harm for millions of Americans.

But at least they won’t be talking about the Epstein files. Oh, wait. They still are.

Toddler Trump Throws Tantrum, Threatens to Sue ABC for Restoring Jimmy Kimmel and Free Speech

The attempt by Donald Trump and his administration cronies to cancel the Constitution and free speech has backfired bigly. His seething animosity toward Jimmy Kimmel – and anyone else who dares to be critical of him – manifested in an ill-considered and anti-American scheme to muzzle Kimmel and have his program removed from the air.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Twitter

Trump’s blatant breach of the First Amendment’s protection of the free press lasted for five whole days. After which, ABC and Disney caved in to the popular pressure to restore Kimmel’s show without conditions. That pressure came from journalists, media executives, politicians, celebrities, and mostly from the American people. And throughout the controversy, all Trump could do was whine…

SEE THIS: Trump Whines that ‘All They Do Is Hit Trump’ and Decrees That ‘They’re Not Allowed To Do That’

Trump’s preposterous claim that failing to be unflinchingly adoring of him is “illegal” is evidence of his toxic disrespect for the law and/or his shrinking capacity to grasp reality. His unbridled outrage was further expressed shortly after ABC announced that Kimmel would return to his program. Trump posted a comment dripping with desperation and hatred to his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, that only confirmed just how mentally dysfunctional he has become. What follows are a few annotated excerpts from his rancid rant.

“I can’t believe ABC Fake News gave Jimmy Kimmel his job back. The White House was told by ABC that his Show was cancelled!”
There is no way that ABC told Trump that Kimmel was canceled. From the beginning they said it was a suspension. And this had nothing to do with ABC News. Kimmel is employed by ABC’s entertainment division.

“…his audience is GONE, and his ‘talent’ was never there. Why would they want someone back who does so poorly?”
Kimmel consistently ranked as the #2 late night program, following Stephen Colbert. And if Trump really thought that Kimmel was a talentless host with no audience, why the heck would he ever bother with him? The only thing that would do (and did) was raise his profile and popularity.

“…puts the Network in jeopardy by playing 99% positive Democrat GARBAGE.”
So what? It is entirely legal – and protected by the Constitution – to be 99% negative toward Trump. That’s actually going easy on him. And where would the jeopardy come from? Trump’s threats of censorship?

“…that would be a major Illegal Campaign Contribution. I think we’re going to test ABC out on this. Let’s see how we do. Last time I went after them, they gave me $16 Million Dollars.”
If Kimmel’s jokes represent a “major Illegal Campaign Contribution” to the Democratic Party, what would he call what Fox News (and Newsmax, OAN, etc.) is doing with their 100% pro-Trump, anti-Democratic content? And his reference to the prior capitulation by ABC is an open threat to abuse his power again by filing another bogus lawsuit. He hasn’t been particularly successful in that endeavor lately.

“A true bunch of losers! Let Jimmy Kimmel rot in his bad Ratings.”
Okay! STFU and let him. Or is Trump afraid that Kimmel is giving the American people a more accurate and honest impression of him and must be silenced by any means necessary?

Ironically, Trump and his MAGA minions have argued themselves into a corner. They are contradicting their own claims that Trump and his FCC mob boss – er, chairman – Brendan Carr, had nothing to do with Kimmel’s suspension. They have been saying it was ABC’s choice to suspend Kimmel and just the forces of free market capitalism at work. If so, then why isn’t that true for ABC choosing to return the Kimmel show?

Trump’s flaming bullshittery has resulted in an unexpected boost for Kimmel. CNN’s Harry Enten revealed the spike in viewership for Kimmel on YouTube, where his six month median reach was about 240,000 views. Enten shows that the number has rocketed to 6.7 million, a whopping 2,683% increase. And it is still growing. It has more than doubled, exceeding 13 million, as of this writing. Nice work Trump!

UPDATE: The Nielsen ratings show that Kimmel drew 6.26 million viewers on ABC. About four times his average rating.

This, however, isn’t over. Station groups Sinclair and Nexstar are continuing to block Kimmel’s show from airing on the stations in their markets. They are both companies with pending business that relies on the Trump administration’s approval. So they are seemingly bending over backwards to kiss his…let’s say ring. Under certain circumstances ABC could respond by offering Kimmel’s show to other stations in those markets. And they can also promote viewing in those markets on streaming platforms such as YouTube. They should look into those options.

And now, for your viewing pleasure, here is Kimmel’s monologue on his return to the airwaves…

Trump Whines that ‘All They Do Is Hit Trump’ and Decrees That ‘They’re Not Allowed To Do That’

For the past few years Donald Trump and his fellow Republicans have belittled Democrats and liberals as “snowflakes” who were unable to tolerate a little criticism from their right-wing adversaries. The GOP sought to uplift themselves as models of manliness with spines of steel who could not be shaken by mere words or name-calling. This became a core symbol of their prideful self image.

Donald Trump, Snowflakes

In reality, there has been no one who has acted out more as a cowardly victim than Trump. He shrinks before the slightest scent of disapproval. He lashes out frantically in response to mildly negative remarks. And he employs howitzers to defend himself from house flies.

SEE THIS: Crybaby Trump Whines About Getting Bad Press and Demands that the Offending Media Be Terminated

In the wake of the Charlie Kirk shooting, much of the MAGA movement has complained that any criticism aimed at Kirk was tantamount to sacrilege. They insisted that it was insufficient to condemn all political violence, you must also kneel worshipfully before the fallen conservative organizer, even if his words and actions were blatantly offensive.

This canonization of Kirk has led to the vilification of anyone who fails to exhibit anything other than pure reverence. As a result, liberal critic like Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel have suffered the wrath of the right and the punishment – as Jesse Watters of Fox News says – of being “thrown out of polite society.”

This week Kimmel was suspended from his program on ABC by the overlords at Disney. And their justification was that he had crossed a line of decency with regard to Kirk. That never actually happened, but the excuse was deployed anyway. Now however, Trump himself has shown that excuse to be a convenient lie. He told reporters that…

“Jimmy Kimmel was fired because he had bad ratings more than anything else. And he said a horrible thing about a great gentleman known as Charlie Kirk…And they should’ve fired him a long time ago. So you can call that free speech or not.”

Is Trump even capable of not lying?1?? Jimmy Kimmel was not fired. His show was suspended.2?? He doesn't have bad ratings. He's 2nd to Stephen Colbert.3?? He didn't say "a horrible thing" about Charlie Kirk. He was talking about the MAGA response.4?? It is definitely about free speech.

Oh. so according to Trump it was ratings that got Kimmel suspended – not fired (yet). Of course, none of what trump said was true. But that’s not exactly news. Later, on Air Force One, Trump elaborated on his views of Kimmel’s situation saying that…

“When you have a network and you have evening shows and all they do is hit Trump, that’s all they do — if you go back, I guess they haven’t had a conservative one in years, or something — when you go back and take a look, all they do is hit Trump. They’re licensed. They’re not allowed to do that. They’re an arm of the Democrat Party.”

FactPost (@factpostnews.bsky.social) 2025-09-18T18:48:25.776920526Z

So now the reasoning behind Kimmel’s ouster is because Trump’s feelings have been hurt by all that darn criticism he inspires. What’s worse, Trump says explicitly that “They’re not allowed to do that.” You have to wonder under what set of rules he is playing by if disagreement, criticism, and mockery, are not allowed. Certainly not those spelled out in the Constitution.

True to form, Trump’s Ministry of Propaganda – aka Fox News – comes to his defense. Fox’s Senior Trump-Fluffer, Sean Hannity did a segment Wednesday night wherein he claimed that, “I can’t find a single prominent conservative voice in the country that even remotely wanted, or hoped, or was pushing to get Jimmy Kimmel taken off the air.” Really? Not even Trump’s FCC chair, Brendan Carr and GOP House Speaker Mike Johnson. And of course Hannity’s BFF…

Sean Hannity predictably lying that no "prominent conservative" pushed for Jimmy Kimmel to be taken off the air.So Trump isn't a prominent conservative? In July he said "Jimmy Kimmel is NEXT to go…It’s really good to see them go, and I hope I played a major part in it!"

Jimmy Kimmel and Tim Walz Make it Abundantly Clear Who the Weird Ones Are in This Election

When Kamala Harris chose Gov. Tim Walz to be her running mate, she was impressed with his record as a progressive leader who made great strides in his state, and whose experience as a legislator, a veteran, a teacher, and a football coach, appealed to a broad swath of middle America.

Fox News, Kamala Harris, Tim Walz

In addition to those assets, Walz had a way of speaking that average folks could relate to. For example, his off the cuff observation that Donald Trump and JD Vance were “weird” connected so authentically with millions of people that it instantly became the most vivid descriptor of the MAGA party’s presidential ticket. It was such a apt epigram that Fox News and the GOP had to invent a contrary, albeit lame and baseless, comeback…

SEE THIS: WTF? Fox News and GOP Clown Comer Launch a Gross Attack on Tim Walz and His ‘Scary Family’

On Monday night Walz was a guest on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” where he had another opportunity to display his homespun relatability. During the course of the conversation, Kimmel played a montage of Trump responding on several occasions to the charge that he and Vance are weird. Clearly he was disturbed by it. But it was impossible to see his responses as anything but…well, weird. Which Walz himself noticed and had the perfect reaction…

“If you have to tell people numerous times you’re not weird, you might be weird.”

Indeed. In just the same way that Trump has to repeatedly tell people that he isn’t racist, or stupid, or greedy, or sexually abusive, or afraid, or lying, he finds it necessary to try to convince people that he isn’t weird. That’s a hard case to make when the evidence of all of the above is so abundant.

Later in the interview, Kimmel gave Walz an opportunity to address the weirdness issue in a more serious way…

Kimmel: Why do you think the ‘weird’ label stuck to Republicans?
Walz: I was talking about the behaviors of being obsessed with people’s personal lives in their bedrooms and their reproductive rights. Making up stories about folks legally here eating cats and dogs. They’re dehumanizing. They go beyond weird. Let’s debate policy.

Walz barely scraped the surface of Trump’s weirdness. He left out Trump’s obsession with Hannibal Lecter, his fear of batteries and sharks, his belief that windmills cause cancer, his suggestion to nuke hurricanes, his bleach injection cure for COVID, his insistence that he won in 2020 and is ahead by far in all the polls now (he’s definitely not), his narcissistic delusion that he is everyone’s favorite president, and so much more.

When considered in its entirety, “weird” seems hardly sufficient to describe what Trump is.
