HE’S TOTALLY UNHINGED: Nikki Haley’s Fox News Hit on Trump Would Make a Great Ad – For Democrats

The 2024 Republican presidential primary continues to generate heat with the field narrowing to just the former reality TV game show host, Donald Trump, and Trump’s former U.N. ambassador, Nikki Haley. The two GOP candidates are starting to take harder swings at one another as they seek to draw support from the remaining Republican voters who haven’t been alienated by the MAGA cult and other right-wing extremists.

For his part, Trump is hammering at Haley, in his typically infantile manner, as a “birdbrain” who doesn’t have what it takes to lead the nation. Never mind that he is wrought with fear and desperation resulting from his mounting political and legal tribulations. He is so consumed with anxiety that he can’t pause to appreciate the primary wins he had in Iowa and New Hampshire.

SEE THIS: Even After Winning, Trump Has a Post-Primary Meltdown, Attacking Friends and Foes and Fox News

Haley, on the other hand. is taking advantage of Trump’s psychotic stupor by focusing on his obvious cognitive malfunctions. That includes his confusing Haley with former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. However, Haley went even further in an interview on Fox News to highlight the more substantive failures of Trump’s administration during his occupation of the White House. In an exchange with Fox’s Dana Perino (formerly George W. Bush’s press secretary), Haley slammed Trump (video below):

Perino: Ronna McDaniel, the head of the Republican National Committee, on Tuesday night she said that she thinks you should get out of the race. Have you spoken to her?
Haley: I let her know how disappointed I was. Let’s look at the last 48 hours. First of all you had election night. Trump gets on stage and he throws an absolute temper tantrum, talking about revenge. But he says nothing about the American people. Nothing about what he’s gonna do about the wasteful spending that he encouraged and allowed the Republicans and Democrats to do in his term. He said nothing about how he’s gonna secure the border and what he’s going to do different that he didn’t do when he was president before. He said nothing about how he’s going to prevent war.

That’s a pretty comprehensively damning statement of how utterly Trump betrayed the most prominent planks of his political platform. From the economy, to the border, to foreign policy, Trump failed. And her remarks can easily be compiled into a scathing advertisement by Democrats during the general election. And just to add icing to this cake, Haley points out how destructive Trump is to the Republican Party as he aspires to be their authoritarian master:

Haley: Then he goes and says that he’s going to ban anyone from MAGA that donates to me. Think about that. That’s a president who’s supposed to serve every person in America, and you’re deciding that you’re going to have a club and actually ban people from being in and out of your club. And then he goes and encourages the members of the RNC and tries to push them into saying that he’s the nominee in the race. I mean, they got so much pushback that he had to backtrack. He’s totally unhinged.

Trump’s unhingedness has been apparent to most Americans for years. It’s astonishing that more Republicans haven’t recognized it, and that everything Trump does is for Trump. He couldn’t care less about his followers, or his political confederates, or the Party, or the nation. You either worship him unwaveringly, or you’re banished. Marjorie Taylor Green made that point explicitly. And that’s what was behind the proposal by the Republican National Committee to summarily declare that Trump their nominee before the vast majority of people even voted. And to no one’s surprise, he lied about that as well:

However, Democrats should be grateful that Haley provided such a searing condemnation of Trump, who is likely to be the GOP’s candidate in the fall. They should put that ad together and be prepared to air it frequently. And Haley isn’t the only Republican who is inadvertently producing ads for Democrats…

Even After Winning, Trump Has a Post-Primary Meltdown, Attacking Friends and Foes and Fox News

The psychotic disorders driving Donald Trump are progressing rapidly toward a total mental malfunction. And one of the signs of his deterioration is that he remains consumed with outrage and vitriol, even after events that would ordinarily lift a sane person’s spirits.

Donald Trump, Wah

On Tuesday night Trump won the New Hampshire Republican presidential primary, beating Nikki Haley by eleven points. To be sure, that was a less than impressive achievement considering that he had predicted a thirty point margin of victory, and late polling showed ahead by eighteen points. But it was victory, nonetheless, in the same disappointing vein as his triumph the week before in Iowa.

SEE THIS: Trump’s Pyrrhic Victory in Iowa Forecasts His Next Defeat When He Faces Joe Biden in November

Not content to appreciate electoral success, Trump delivered a speech that was rife with rancor and lies. He declared that he won New Hampshire in the general elections of 2016 and 2020. He didn’t. And he exhibited the sort of bitterness one would expect from a loser, which by some analysis, he is. After all, he barely got to 50% in New Hampshire. And as reported by Politico, Donald Trump has a big problem ahead.” “Forty-three43 percent of Nikki Haley supporters said they would back President Joe Biden over Trump.”

So naturally, Trump sheltered in the safety of his failing social media scam, Truth Social, to vent his frustration at not being unilaterally declared King of America. He began by taking a shot at his former press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, who now works for Fox News. She made the cardinal sin of pointing out that President Biden had “a fairly good night” in New Hampshire, and that exit polls found that “7 in 10 Nikki Haley voters said ‘I would not vote for Trump.'” Then she offered the following advice to her old boss…

“If I were Trump I’d sit back and I would exclusively focus on the general election. I’d take the posture of the presumptive nominee. I’d focus on, number one, uniting the party, and number two, getting the independents, which Nikki Haley won 55-39 percent.

That’s actually pretty good advice. But Trump wasn’t pleased by her presuming to give counsel to the all-knowing Messiah of MAGA. Especially after she made a couple of truthful observations about Biden and Haley. He snarled that…

“I don’t need any advice from RINO Kayleigh McEnany on Fox. Just had a GIANT VICTORY over a badly failing candidate, ‘Birdbrain,’ and she’s telling me what I can do better. Save your advice for Nikki!”

That’s how Trump responds to friendly suggestions from people who were loyal confederates. It is evidence of a deeply disturbed and despondent personality who knows that he is trouble both politically, and even more worrisome, legally.

But he wasn’t through raging. He posted another couple of comments that displayed his seething anger and cognitive collapse. In a 12:43 AM post he complained “Here at Haley HQ in Concord, they are playing CNN on the big Screen.” Heaven forbid! But just two minutes later he whined that “CNN & MSDNC TREATED MY BIG, DOUBLE DIGIT VICTORY OVER BIRDBRAIN, BETTER THAN FOX!” So apparently Trump was watching CNN as well. And he couldn’t resist an opportunity to lash out Fox News, despite their relentless promotion of him and his campaign.

These are not the commentaries of someone who is excited at being successful. They are the tirades of someone who is terrified of a future filled with suffering. And to top it off, Trump lapses into his all to common delusions of divinity. He re-posted a meme that heralded that “His Truth Is Marching On: Trump Emerges Victorious in New Hampshire.” That’s a lyric from the “Battle Hymn of the Republic” referencing the return of a vengeful god, and casting himself in the role of the deity whose disciples rejoice that “Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord.”

And the cult choir sings “Glory, glory, hallelujah,” with the hopes of exalting Dear Leader Trump and his overtly anti-American movement. While those who reside in the real world are ever more motivated to prove between now and next November that they will work diligently to preserve the democracy, civility, and liberty, that are the foundations of our republic. And you know that Trump hates the prospect of that.

UPDATE: Sean Hannity and his guests (Byron Donalds and Ari Fleischer) have the same advice for Trump as McEnany. Will Trump cancel them as RINOs too?

Dementia J. Trump Confuses Nancy Pelosi and Nikki Haley In a Lie-Riddled Rant About January 6th

The signs of the cognitive decline of Donald Trump simply cannot be ignored. He is not merely forgetting names and places. He is recounting hallucinations and inventing bizarre and fantastical distortions of reality. It is decidedly abnormal to repeatedly insist that windmills kill whales, that hurricanes can be nuked, that bleach injections cure COVID, and that George Washington’s Army took over airports.

Donald Trump, Insane, Straight Jacket

Someone with that sort of warped perspective of the world cannot be permitted to occupy any seat of power or influence. The potential for harm to the people of the nation – and the world – is far too great. And yet, Trump is still the leading candidate for the Republican Party’s nomination for president of the United States. And he remains the choice of Fox News to lead the nation that he regards “failing” and “going to hell.” Is this walking conveyor of catastrophe and hatred really the best they can do?

SEE THIS: HUH? Fox News Accuses Democrats of ‘Demonizing’ Trump’s ‘Crazy,’ ‘Deplorable,’ MAGA Extremists

On Friday Trump demonstrated once again the depths of his dementia. During a speech at a New Hampshire GOP primary campaign stop, Trump reprised his pitifully incoherent excuses for having provoked and prolonged the insurrection at the Capitol on January 6, 2021. He continues to disclaim any responsibility for the riots that he incited and that even Republicans in Congress agreed at the time were the result of his instigation beforehand, and neglect during and after. He told the audience of glassy-eyed Trump cult followers that…

“By the way, they never report the crowd on January 6th. You know Nikki Haley, Nikki Haley, Nikki Haley… Did you know they destroyed all of the information – all the evidence, everything – deleted and destroyed all of it, because of lots of things. Like Nikki Haley is in charge of security. We offered her 10,000 people, soldiers, National Guard, whatever they want. They turned it down. They don’t want to talk about that.”

There’s an abundance of derp in that brief comment that needs to be examined. Let’s start with the fact that the crowd size has been reported, but who cares? It has no relevance to anything else that happened that day. It’s just Trump reaching out to polish his own ego.

Trump then makes a profoundly disturbing blunder, confusing his Republican primary opponent, and former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, with former Democratic Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi. And it wasn’t a one-off gaffe. He did it repeatedly. These women have nothing in common that a sane person would mistake. Trump has simply lost his ability to process reality.

However, what is even more troubling than his crippled capacity to recall people that he ought to know well, is his twisted tales of past events wherein he was a principal participant. For starters, none of the evidence assembled by the House January 6th Committee was destroyed. He likely built this falsehood from wholly dishonest “reporting” by Jesse Watters on Fox News. Shortly after that program Trump posted a comment on his failing social media scam, Truth Social, alleging that…

“[T]he Unselect January 6th Committee of Political Hacks and Thugs has illegally destroyed their Records and Documents. This is unthinkable, and the Fake Political Indictment against me must be immediately withdrawn.”

In fact, the January 6th Committee chairman, Benny Thompson, refuted claims that any evidence was destroyed saying that the Committee had fully complied with “guidance from the Office of the Clerk and other authorities” as to preserving and archiving documents. Only “temporary” records that were not part of the Committee’s probe were not preserved. Everything else was saved and is available online.

SEE ALSO: Trump Demands Indictments Be Withdrawn After Fox News Falsely Reports on January 6th Committee

Likewise, Trump’s claim that Nikki Haley – or was it Nancy Pelosi – turned down an offer of 10,000 National Guard soldiers was provably untrue. Trump didn’t make that offer to either of them, and that claim has been repeatedly debunked by his own Defense Department appointees. Although, the fact that he keeps making that claim is an admission that he believed his supporters were a dangerous mob. What’s more, there was nothing stopping Trump from deploying the National Guard himself to restore order and protect the Capitol. It was his responsibility, but he did nothing.

So Trump is not only mentally deficient, he is a pathological liar. And the MAGA-infected GOP still wants to put him charge of the government that he has already proven that he is incapable of running. Which only affirms the conclusion that they are a cult with a death wish. And come November, the rest of the American people need to make certain that the crazies and deplorables don’t regain access to power.

LOL: Trump Says All Presidential Candidates (Except Himself) Should Take Mental Competency Tests

Here we go again. America’s self-anointed “stable genius,” Donald Trump, is once again demonstrating his acute narcissism and hysterical hypocrisy. As he embarks on his pursuit of the 2024 Republican Party nomination for president, Trump is setting the bar for all of the other candidates.

Donald Trump, coronavirus

Recall that this advice being offered on sound psychological status is coming from the guy who believes that stealth fighters are actually invisible, that windmills cause cancer, that hurricanes should be nuked, that George Washington’s Army took over airports, and that injecting bleach will cure COVID. It’s not exactly a record of cognitive fitness.

RELATED: HUH? On Fox News Trump Asks ‘Imagine If There Was Coronavirus When I Was President’

Undaunted, Trump took to his floundering social media flop, Truth Social, to deliver his opinion on how presidential candidate’s qualifications should be considered…

“ANYBODY running for the Office of President of the United States should agree to take a full & complete Mental Competency Test simultaneously (or before!) with the announcement that he or she is running, & likewise, but to a somewhat lesser extent, agree to a test which would prove that you are physically capable of doing the job. Being an outstanding President requires great mental acuity & physical stamina. If you don’t have these qualities or traits, it is likely you won’t succeed. MAGA!”

Trump is right. Without those qualities you won’t succeed as president. In fact, he’s living proof of it. Now, perhaps the most sanity-challenged political figure of modern times wants his peers to be tested in order to be regarded as fit to serve. It’s likely that he thinks that a test he took previously – that was administered by a “doctor” who was hopelessly infatuated with Trump – sufficed to qualify his own candidacy.

However, that was not a “full & complete Mental Competency Test.” It was a simple test given to people who were being evaluated for early onset symptoms of dementia. It required him to identify an elephant from a picture, and recall five words. And we still don’t know whether he passed that test, other than by his own account, which is hardly believable. Plus, it was five years ago, when he was a sprightly 69 years old.

RELATED: YIKES! Trump Admits His Dreams of Dictatorship, While Bragging About ‘Acing’ a Dementia Test

Trump is also not exactly a specimen of physical prowess. He needs two hands to drink from a glass of water. He can’t walk down a low incline without help. He mocks President Biden for riding bikes, while he won’t play a round of golf without his golf cart. And he refuses to exercise because he believes that it depletes the scarce resources of energy that you are born with.

It’s also notable that in his remarks, Trump narrowly defines those who should take the competency tests. According to Trump they should only be given “simultaneously (or before!) with the announcement that he or she is running.” Which is a sneaky way of excluding himself, since it is already well after he announced.

It’s also interesting that Trump is taking this position just a few days after his first announced opponent for the GOP nomination, Nikki Haley, declared that all politicians over 75 (which includes Trump) should be tested for mental fitness. In fact, her entire impetus for running is that she is younger than Trump. Which Trump, in his psychologically stable state of mind is taking exactly as you might expect…

Trump ‘Welcomes’ Nikki Haley Into the 2024 GOP Primary with a Furious Flurry of Feces Flinging

The first primaries for the Republican nomination for president in 2024 are still a year away. Until this week the only declared candidate was Donald Trump. That changed, however, with the announcement by former South Carolina governor, and Trump’s ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, making her candidacy official.

Donald Trump

Haley is likely to be joined eventually by a multitude of Trumpian toadies, including Mike Pence, Ron DeSantis, Mike Pompeo, Tim Scott, Greg Abbott, and many others too cowardly to stick their necks out at this early stage of the game. Never mind that Trump has never been weaker and more vulnerable.

RELATED: Trump Issues New Statement on His January 6th Insurrection Lies that Actually Affirms His Guilt

Shortly after Haley made her announcement, Trump pretended to be comfortable with the competition and welcomed her into the political fray. He said told Fox News that “I’m glad she’s running. I want her to follow her heart – even though she made a commitment that she would never run against who she called the greatest president of her lifetime.” He followed that up by saying “The more the merrier.”

Even worse, Trump claimed that he helped the people of South Carolina by removing her as governor and making her his ambassador to the U.N. So he’s bragging that he put someone who thinks was a terrible governor into a top diplomatic post.

But don’t let that facade of confidence fool you. The only reason Trump is outwardly supportive of Haley’s entry is that he knows she has no chance of winning and that she will only divide the anti-Trump vote, making it easier for him to prevail by a plurality.

The truth is that Trump is frightened of virtually everything. And he proved it on Thursday morning by unleashing a barrage of 28 posts in half an hour on his floundering Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, with the largest share – 9 in all – attacking Haley. Trump warned his cult followers that Haley will cut Social Security, that she flip-flopped on running against him, that she is a “born loser,” that she is somehow connected to Hillary Clinton, and that she is pro-war. It would be inaccurate to call Trump’s “welcome” a passive-aggressive attack, because there is nothing about it that is passive.

For her part, Haley took her candidate tour to Fox News on Thursday, where responded to a question about whether Trump was mentally fit to serve. She initially referred to a test that he took four years ago (that he laughably claims to have “aced”) wherein he was asked to identify an elephant and count to ten. But she went on to advocate competency tests for all elected officials, and specifically mentioned President Biden, who she said, without evidence, was asleep at the wheel.

The compulsion on the part of Republicans like Haley to malign Biden’s cognitive capacity makes it difficult for them to explain how he keeps beating Republicans electorally and legislatively, and how he has been so remarkably productive the last two years. If he’s such a mental vegetable, what does that make the GOP?

Republicans in Congress have explicitly committed themselves to asinine projects (like the formation of their “Anti-Woke” Caucus), and bitter partisanship (promising to “Make Life Hell” for Democrats). Meanwhile, Biden keeps producing results for the American people. Which leaves the GOP and Fox News with nothing to do but whine in the most pitiful manner.

Fox News Host and Trump-Fluffer Wants the U.S. to Be More Like the Terrorists

The White House narrative on Iran is falling apart. Donald Trump claims that he ordered the assassination of Qasem Soleimani due to intelligence that indicated he represented an “imminent threat” to the U.S. But reports from the Pentagon do not confirm the charge and officials say that any evidence is “razor thin.”

Donald Trump

Meanwhile, when asked to substantiate the allegation, Trump’s press Secretary, Stephanie Grisham, said that she couldn’t. She merely repeated the baseless speculation that American lives were saved. She also complained that people wouldn’t simply trust Trump and take his word about the whole affair. That, of course, is the wholly warranted result of his having lied non-stop throughout his presidency. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also failed when asked to provide confirmation that Iran was plotting attacks on the U.S. In fact, he resorted to a completely different “justification” that relied solely on past events.

Now the propagandists of Trump World are trying to spin his threat to destroy cultural sites as appropriate and lawful military targeting. Never mind that it is an explicit violation of both U.S. and international law. On Fox News Tuesday morning, Pete Hegseth of Fox and Friends sought to demonize rational Trump critics as treasonous saying that “I think with friends like these Democrats, who needs the Iranians” (video below). He went on to complain that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is “out of her mind” for tweeting correctly that Trump had proposed committing war crimes. And then he unleashed this grotesque commentary:

“I don’t care about Iranian cultural sites, and I’ll tell you why. If they could, if Iran could, if you understand the Islamic Republic of Iran, of Islamists, if the could, if they had the power, they would destroy every single one of our cultural sites and build a mosque on top of it.”

This is a bizarre argument even if you ignore his stuttering introduction. Hegseth is saying that it’s acceptable to behave like terrorists because terrorists behave that way. He is, in effect, advocating that the U.S. adopt the tactics of terrorists. What’s next? Would Hegseth approve of Americans beheading prisoners of war? Would he favor sending suicide bombers into the lobbies of hotels where Muslims were guests? Would he support flying planes into skyscrapers in Tehran? After all, the terrorists do that, so why shouldn’t we?

The question is, did that disgusting illogic come from Trump, or did Hegseth plant it in Trump’s befuddled head? Because the President said pretty much the same thing on Monday:

“They’re allowed to kill our people. They’re allowed to torture and maim our people. They’re allowed to use roadside bombs and blow up our people. And we’re not allowed to touch their cultural site? It doesn’t work that way.”

This is representative of Trump’s total absence of morality. He and his cult followers believe that they can commit any crime they like with impunity. And they will also tell any lie to support their atrocities. For instance, Trump’s former ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, said on Monday that Democrats were “mourning the loss” of Soleimani. She was challenged repeatedly to provide a single example of that reckless and hateful assertion, but went into hiding rather than respond.

This tendency to endorse such repugnant acts shows how far Trump and his regime have diverged from any semblance of civil society. It marks them as aspiring terrorists themselves because, if they approve of these tactics, what separates them from the heathens they pretend to oppose? They believe that any act, no matter how heinous, is justified if your enemy would do it. But the American people, whose principles are in tact, would surely disagree and admonish Trump that “It doesn’t work that way.”

Will Trump’s U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley Follow Hope Hicks to Fox News?

Tuesday morning Donald Trump announced that another member of his administration is fleeing the debacle he’s created. Nikki Haley has been Trump’s ambassador to the United Nations from the beginning. Her role has been overshadowed by Trump’s beligerrant bullying tactics and bullheaded diplomacy. But she was a staunch supporter of the President no matter how horribly he behaved.

Nikki Haley

There will be plenty of speculation about what Haley will do now that she’s deserting this sinking ship. She ruled out running for president during the resignation announcement in the Oval Office, but – and I don’t want to shock you – politicians lie. She promised to campaign for Trump in 2020. There is also talk that Lindsey Graham will replace Jeff Sessions as Attorney General and Haley will get an appointment to his seat as South Carolina senator.

However, there is one career option that cannot be ignored, even if it doesn’t seem particularly likely. Her colleague Hope Hicks just took a job at Fox News, like many other former Trump staffers. And Haley may go the same route. She has been a frequent guest on the State TV network and gets along well with the Trump-fluffers there.

During a recent interview she made some ludicrous excuses for why Trump was laughed at when he spoke at the U.N. last month. Trump insisted that he intended to get a laugh when he talked about how much he’s done as President. Which is peculiar since his reaction in real time was that “I didn’t expect that response.” According to Haley, though, the reason they laughed was because “they loved how honest he is” and that “They love to be with him.” Now that’s the kind of delusional spin that makes for a great Fox News pundit or program host.

How Fox News Deceives and Controls Their Flock:
Fox Nation vs. Reality: The Fox News Cult of Ignorance.

Speculation will also rise about who will replace Haley at the U.N. Some early possibilities include Trump’s current National Security Advisor (and former U.N. ambassador under George W. Bush) John Bolton, and current ambassador to Germany (and former Fox News contributor) Richard Grenell. Grenell also served as the spokesman for the U.S. delegation at the United Nations. But the most hysterical candidates include both Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner. Sadly, in the Era of Trump, being hysterical doesn’t disqualify you from consideration.

The Delusional Fox News Love Fest with Trump and the World: ‘They Love to Be with Him’

Any observer who is being objective has to concede that Donald Trump is sinking ever further into an abyss of his own making. He continues to shamelessly exalt himself with obviously false praise for achievements that either don’t exist or that he had nothing to do with. And he is forced to rely on his State TV sycophants at Fox News for positive reinforcement, even if it’s totally made up.

Donald Trump, Pee Wee

On Wednesday morning there was another such episode on Fox and Friends that was laughably absurd. And it was appropriately triggered by the laughter at Trump when he tried to tell the United Nations that he has “accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country.” The world’s diplomats knew that that was a ludicrous statement and responded by mocking it. Trump later pretended that he intended it as a joke even though he said at the time that he “didn’t expect that reaction.” Or perhaps he was doing his Pee Wee Herman imitation by saying that “I meant to do that.”

Not surprisingly, Trump sent his U.N. ambassador, Nikki Haley, to visit with his Fox friends the next day. Her purpose was to attempt to fix the correct impression that Trump was disrespected by the world’s diplomats. And she was greeted by the “Curvy Couch” potatoes warmly with co-host Anna Kooiman gushing “Congratulations on your success as the U.N. ambassador. We love you so much.” But that was just the beginning of the unabashed love-in at Fox News, as exemplified in this exchange (video below):

Kooiman: I know you were in the room when the laugh happened. Sometimes the media can portray it as one thing and it’s not that at all. What was it like and why that reaction?
Haley: The media has got this so wrong. I deal with these leaders every single day. I know exactly how they think. Do they love America? No. Do they respect America? Now they do. When he said that, they loved how honest he is and it’s not diplomatic and they find it funny. […] I saw that the media was trying to make it something disrespectful. That’s not what it was. They love to be with him.

See? The room full of guffawing U.N. ambassadors were just unable to restrain their boundless affection for Trump and it came out sounding like impolite chuckles. Never mind that the ambassadors themselves have already affirmed that they were laughing AT Trump. But Haley still asserts that his lies about how productive he’s been were greeted by the U.N. as “honesty” that for some reason Haley thinks is not diplomatic. The truth, according to Haley, is that the ambassadors just love being with Trump. And she even noted that his ad libbing “made them love him even more.” Which leaves just one question to be answered with regard to this assessment of Trump’s performance: Does anyone else feel like throwing up?

WTF? Nikki Haley Slams the Grammys Because She ‘Loves Music Without the Politics’

The 60th Annual Grammy Awards show aired Sunday night with the customary pomp and circumstance that accompanies these galas. New stars and legends took the stage to celebrate the music industry’s creative achievements of the last year. It will certainly be viewed by millions of fans for whom music is as necessary as air.

Hillary Clinton

One viewer out there, however, is no longer a fan. Nikki Haley, the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, was not pleased by a humorous sketch (video below) that featured a number of big stars reading from Michael Wolff’s book Fire and Fury. The book caused a stir by revealing some of the inside dirt at Donald Trump’s White House. That political comedy was too much for Haley who tweeted:

Is she friggin’ kidding? Music and politics are hardly a new combination. In fact, the social condition has been the subject of music compositions for centuries. And particularly with regard to contemporary music, political themes have inspired some of the greatest music and artists of all time. If Haley were to have her way, the artists whose music was fiercely political that she would do away with would include:

  • Rage Against the Machine
  • Eminem
  • The Clash
  • James Brown
  • U2
  • Crosby, Stills & Nash
  • Neil Young
  • Public Enemy
  • Dead Kennedys
  • Green Day
  • Frank Zappa
  • Marvin Gaye
  • Bruce Springsteen
  • The Beatles
  • Bob Marley
  • The Sex Pistols
  • Bob Dylan
  • Kendrick Lamar

And that’s not nearly a complete list. Haley’s ignorance of the importance of expressing real life issues in the musical arts is really just her own aversion to free thought and creativity. She never complained when her idiot boss, Donald Trump, attacked Jay-Z, John Legend, Cher, Neil Young, Snoop Dogg, or the cast of Hamilton.

But read a few lines from a book critical of Trump for a comedy sketch and Haley is outraged. And another thing that makes her whining absurd is that the bit didn’t have any music in it. So how could any music have been “ruined” by this brief segment? The truth is that Trump’s night was ruined by some some artists making fun of him, which he richly deserves. And Haley had to defend her crybaby master’s ego. It’s just plain pathetic, but so very typical.

LOCK ‘EM UP: Fox News Leaks Classified Info Based on Anonymous Sources – Trump Retweets

The White House recently embarked on a campaign to flush out the throngs of leakers in their midst. Attorney General Jeff Sessions held a press briefing to announce that anyone caught leaking would face stiff consequences. So it’s interesting that this warning is already being ignored by a surprising offender.

Fox News Donald Trump

On Donald Trump’s favorite TV show, Fox and Friends, co-host Steve Doocy interviewed U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley. In the course of their conversion Doocy let slip some information he obtained from a story on Fox News. The story revealed that U.S. satellites had detected North Korea loading anti-ship cruise missiles on a patrol boat. That, apparently, was not information approved for public dissemination. And Haley let Doocy know that in no uncertain terms (video below):

DOOCY: Ambassador, on the front page of foxnews.com right now there is a story that apparently the intel community has picked up anti-ship cruise missiles were being loaded onto a patrol boat or patrol boats in North Korea. What can you tell us about that?
HALEY: I can’t.
HALEY: I can’t talk about anything that’s classified. And if that’s in the newspaper that’s a shame. But –
DOOCY: You have no reason to believe that’s not accurate though?
HALEY: I have no reason to comment on it.
DOOCY: (Laughing) OK.
AINSLEY EARHARDT: That shouldn’t be in the newspaper? Is that another leak I guess?
HALEY: You know, it’s one of these things, I don’t know what’s going on. But, I will tell you it’s incredibly dangerous when things get out into the press like that. You are not only just getting a scoop on something, you are playing with people’s lives. And this has got to stop. Whatever the leaks are coming from, if somebody thinks they are getting power or fame from it, all you are doing is putting Americans in danger.

Haley was adamant in her first response that she could not answer Doocy’s questions. But that didn’t stop him from pressing her further. She reiterated her intention to refrain from commenting. Doocy thought that was funny. Haley had to school him on the serious nature of the data he was pushing her to reveal.

As if it weren’t bad enough that Fox News was disclosing classified information, there was another culprit with loose fingertips. Trump, as usual, was watching Fox and Friends this morning. He retweeted three separate stories that he had seen on the broadcast. One of them was the story about North Korea with the classified data. So Trump was participating in the leaking of information that his own U.N. ambassador warned was “incredibly dangerous,” and “playing with people’s lives.” What’s more, he was propagating info obtained from anonymous sources. Recall, Trump’s position on the use of sources who are not identified in news reports:

It is endlessly perplexing that Trump still gets his intelligence data from Fox News. Apparently he is unaware of the resources he has at his disposal within the government he allegedly manages. Had he contacted his National Security Advisor or the CIA, he might have been cautioned as to the sensitive nature of the data he was about to publish. But that’s too much to ask this notoriously ignorant and reckless so-called president.

The only question now is whether the Department of Justice will follow through on their threat to prosecute anyone found to be leaking. This past weekend, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein appeared on Fox News Sunday. He told Chris Wallace that he would prosecute whoever was discovered to be violating the law. He specifically that included members of Congress and the White House. In this case, Donald Trump is unambiguously guilty. And this is not the first time that Trump has breached this legal directive. If the DoJ expects to be taken seriously they need to investigate Trump’s leaks and prosecute if warranted. Otherwise, they will have no credibility to prosecute any other alleged leakers.
