Former Fox News Editor Tells CNN He Has ‘Only Disdain’ for Spreaders of Trump’s ‘Big Lie’

Chris Stirewalt was the Digital Politics Editor for Fox News and a ten year veteran on the network. That all ended following his leading role on the 2020 presidential election forecast team that called the state of Arizona for Joe Biden. Stirewalt was unceremoniously dismissed shortly thereafter.

Donald Trump, Snake Tongue

It may have just been a matter of time before Stirewalt was cut loose anyway, considering some of his commentaries that were less than worshipful of Donald Trump. For instance there was the time he colorfully predicted the scene prior to one of Trump’s diplomatic trips saying that “He is going to fly into Brussels like a seagull. He is going to defecate all over everything, squawk and fly away.”

On Sunday Stirewalt was interviewed by CNN’s Jim Acosta. The subject was Trump’s still lingering obsession with having lost the the election last November. Acosta asked Stirewalt if he felt vindicated now that even the rabidly partisan Cyber Nimrods … er Cyber Cyber Ninjas concluded that Biden was the legitimate winner. Stirewalt replied that…

“I take no satisfaction or pleasure from seeing this outcome that roughly corresponds with the real results. They’re doing their damage anyway.”

Stirewalt went on to say that…

“I have sincere sympathy for people who were duped. There are people who really believe this stuff. I don’t know what Donald Trump actually believes. I think he knows he lost. Whatever. […]. But I have only disdain for the people who continue to promulgate this.” […]

“As the results in Arizona made clear, it doesn’t matter what you find. He will claim fraud anyway. He will still say that there was fraud even if the finding says there wasn’t. The point is to undermine voter confidence in the process.”

These are remarks that Strirewalt could never have gotten away with on Fox News, where unflinching fealty Trump and his “Big Lie” that the election was “rigged” and “stolen” from him are still mandatory opinions imposed by the network brass. So it may be fortuitous that Stirewalt was canned.

As for Acosta, he has been particularly cutting lately. He recently labeled Tucker Carlson a human manure spreader.” And there’s much more where that came from. In the same program with the Stirewalt segment, Acosta righteously ripped Trump as a big crybaby “Who can’t get over losing.”

That’s a trait in Trump that News Corpse has observed for years. Contrary to his delusional self image as a macho man, Trump is actually the Most Cowardly, Whining, Crybaby to Ever Be President! And in closing, here are just a few examples that have been documented.

Matt Gaetz Embraces Tucker Carlson’s Vulgar and Racist ‘Great Replacement Theory’ Rant

Florida’s QAnon supporting, alleged sex trafficking congressman, Matt Gaetz, seems more determined than ever to dig himself deeper into a pit of scandal with his every public utterance. After all, this is the cretin whose perversions, lies and criminality are so toxic that even Fox News has blacklisted him.

Matt Gaetz, Prison

Gaetz’s legal and ethical problems may have temporarily receded from the headlines, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t still drowning in the muck of his swampiness. The Daily Beast is reporting that his defensive maneuvers have revealed a “scorched earth” strategy that indicates just how worried he is about his future:

“Gaetz is personally represented by Marc Mukasey, who has defended the Trump Organization in several high-profile disputes […] Separately, the Gaetz campaign—Friends of Matt Gaetz—also looked north when in June it retained New York-based trial lawyer Marc Fernich. Fernich’s client list includes child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, Mexican drug lord Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, and convicted sex trafficker Keith Raniere.”

You’ve got to be pretty desperate to hire the same lawyers who represented Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein – and lost. In the meantime, Gaetz is reaching out to the Trump cultists who are the foundation of his moral and financial support. On Saturday he tweeted a shout-out to the Fox News Senior White Nationalist, Tucker Carlson. His message was a blatant embrace of a Nazi-inspired campaign to foment fear and racist violence:

“@TuckerCarlson is CORRECT about Replacement Theory as he explains what is happening to America.

The ADL is a racist organization.”

Tucker Carlson has been peddling the white replacement theory for months. It’s an abhorrent lie that propounds a plot, often attributed to Jews, that foreigners are being imported to overwhelm the White population socially and politically.

In a recent tirade by Carlson, he specifically targeted George Soros, a billionaire philanthropist who is one of the right’s favorite foils. He was also a Jewish refugee from Nazi anti-Semitism. Carlson’s harangue focused on Soros’ efforts to help resettle our Afghan allies in the United States, which Carlson said was just another means of replacing his White majority with foreign “invaders”.

Shortly afterwards the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) called for Fox News to fire Carlson. That led to this vulgar exchange between Carlson and former Fox News host Megyn Kelly:

Kelly: Today there’s more blowback on whether you’ve been pushing for the “Great Replacement Theory.” You said that this was gonna happen on your show last night. Sure enough, the ADL comes out and comes after you.
Carlson: F**k them! What liars.

When Gaetz tweeted that “TuckerCarlson is CORRECT about Replacement Theory,” this crude and bigoted boorishness is what he was responding to. And his appended charge that “The ADL is a racist organization,” is a nauseating and baseless insult to an organization that has been fighting discrimination and racism for over a hundred years. However, it is precisely what you would expect from a desperate and hateful sleazeball who is struggling to stay out of prison.

Trump’s Cult Followers Eagerly Lap Up His ‘Big Lie’ After the Arizona Election Fraudit Fizzles

There is no question that Donald Trump was, and is, an imminent danger to the wellbeing of the United States. He has demonstrated that by repeatedly advancing his own perverse personal interests and a tyrannical craving for power and adulation. The results have been devastating for the nation as his maniacal hostility and pathological lies tore the country apart, leading to the January 6th insurrection and continuing incitation to violence.

Donald Trump Messiah

The legacy of Trump will include his fatally flawed stewardship of a collapsing economy that saw record numbers of jobs lost and businesses failing. He presided over diplomatic relations that embraced enemies and alienated allies. He created unprecedented political division, animosity, and bigotry. And his mismanagement of the COVID pandemic has resulted in nearly 700,000 Americans dying due directly to his negligence, incompetence, and deliberate malfeasance.

That said, Trump is not the biggest threat that America faces. From the start his demagoguery was the impetus for a cult following that rejected constitutional principles in favor of messiah worship. His dimwitted and easily conned disciples have always been more dangerous than he was himself. And his abhorrent remarks at his latest Cult Rally and Coronavirus Super-Spreader in Georgia illustrate just how treacherous Trump’s authoritarian aspirations are.

In another of his tediously long tirades, Trump lashed out at all of his usual enemies, including the press, insufficiently obsequious Republicans, and pretty much every Democrat. Although he did give a back-handed endorsement of Stacy Abrams for Georgia governor while he was attacking the current GOP governor, “RINO” Brian Kemp, for not “decertifying” the election, which, under the law, he can’t do.

However, Trump was mostly fixated on the election review in Arizona by the Cyber Nimrods – sorry, Cyber Ninjas – that was just completed and found that President Biden beat Trump by an even larger margin. He rambled on about alleged improprieties had no resemblance to reality. In Trump’s world, though, there was a completely different perspective:

“Yesterday we got the results of the Arizona audit which were so disgracefully reported by those people right back there. And the headlines claiming that Biden won are fake news and a very big lie. You know they like to…you ever notice when they write about that they always say ‘While the election results are a big lie…?’ Every reporter. It’s like total misinformation. ‘While they’re totally unfounded.’ Everything’s unfounded, big lie, not correct. ‘While Trump has no reason to say this…’ I mean we’ve got piles and piles of information, affidavits by the thousands and thousands. It’s a disgrace. We won on the Arizona forensic audit yesterday at a level that you wouldn’t believe.

Trump starts off by simply stating, without any basis, that “the headlines claiming that Biden won are fake news.” In fact, the Nimrods themselves provided that finding in their report. It was not invented by the media. Even Fox News reported it as a confirmation of Biden’s victory. And if “every reporter” is saying that Trump’s twisted tales of election fraud are an “unfounded, big lie, [and] not correct.” it’s safer to assume that they are right than to believe a notoriously pathological liar like Trump.

Finally, if Trump actually has “piles and piles of information” validating his allegations, you have to wonder why he, or his crack legal team, hasn’t produced any of it in more than nine months and 60 court cases. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that his lawyers are themselves in legal peril. Rudy Giuliani’s license to practice law has been suspended in New York and Washington, D.C. And Trump’s other attorneys were recently sanctioned in court.

What makes this all the more troubling is that when Trump delivered the remarks above, his audience of confirmed zealots applauded enthusiastically. They couldn’t care less whether what he says is true or not. And neither does he. In fact, Trump will always support these preposterous fraudits because no matter what the results are, he’ll just claim that he won. Just like he’s doing with the 2020 election.

Trump’s cult crusaders will believe whatever he tells them to believe. The the first law of the cult is that the leader is the only one who will ever tell you the truth. Everyone else is lying to you. It’s a closed circuit of blind faith that puts the future of the nation – and democracy – at great risk. It’s how totalitarian regimes force their way into power. And with the mindless obedience of Trump’s fervent fanatics, this is the closes that America has ever come to that catastrophic possibility.

Misfortune Teller Trump Predicts America’s Apocalypse in Bonkers OAN Bootlicking

The dissociative defects in Donald Trump’s mangled mental state have been obvious to anyone who has been paying attention for the past few years. He not only fails to have a grasp on reality, but he can’t seem to retain a coherent focus on any topic as he rambles aimlessly through the short list of grievances that he’s fixated on.

Donald Trump Angry

Trump’s psychoses were apparent in the love-sick “interview” he did with One America News Network (OAN) on Friday. With the recently released results of the Cyber Ninja’s Arizona Fraudit still fresh in his frenzied mind, he tried to avoid the fact that the Ninjas were unable to manufacture any evidence of election fraud. In fact, the final tabulation showed an even wider margin of victory for Joe Biden.

Consequently, Trump attempted to paper over that humiliation with some broad strokes about cheating Democrats for which he had no factual basis (video below):

“I don’t want to be naïve. I think they [Democrats] are grossly incompetent. I really do. I don’t think it’s the votes. Because they cheat on the elections. They don’t need votes. They cheat on the elections. I mean, you look at 43,000 votes were found last night. They cheat on elections. When you cheat on elections you don’t have to destroy the country. They are destroying our country. Our country will not survive this. Our country will not survive.”

There’s a lot of derp to unpack in that brief outburst. First of all, Democrats must not be all that incompetent if they managed to produce more than seven million allegedly fake votes in order to decisively defeat the “stable genius” of Trump. So even from his deranged perspective, he’s essentially admitting that he is even less competent than his foes by allowing them to get away with it.

Secondly, Trump’s relentless charges of cheating have still never been validated by even a shred of evidence. Which is true with regard to the “43,000 votes” he says “were found last night.” They weren’t. Thirdly, What on Earth is he talking about when he says that “When you cheat on elections you don’t have to destroy the country.” Is he bragging that his methods of cheating can be done without destroying the country?

Lastly, Trump delivers his dystopian prediction that America is in its final days. He might as well be shuffling down 5th Avenue with a sandwich board that reads “REPENT! The End Is Near!” He may be right, but not for the reasons bouncing around in his diseased cranium. It is his inflammatory “Big Lie” rhetoric that is undermining faith in democracy and inciting his cult followers to violence. However, Trump wasn’t through spreading his morbid manure. Without even a pause to inhale, he launched into a completely different subject:

“And look at where they’re coming from. They’re coming from Yemen. They’re coming from the Middle East. They’re coming from all countries that are very sick countries. Very sick, very mean, nasty. They’re coming from all countries that have problems.”

Huh? What does that have to do with democrats or elections? Does Trump think that no one will notice that he just veered off into an entirely unrelated rant? And one that is not only utterly false, but blatantly bigoted? He’s just echoing the Nazi-inspired, racist “great replacement theory” rhetoric that Tucker Carlson and others on Fox News embraced. The America that both Trump and Carlson are afraid of losing is the one that is dominated by White nationalists like themselves.

Elsewhere in the same interview, Trump engaged in some old fashioned revisionist history about how no one had any idea that a pandemic could spread and, with the help of a negligent and incompetent leader, could take the lives of nearly 700,000 Americans:

“Nobody ever really thought a pandemic would happen. It sounds like sort of an ancient thing, you know? Or go back to 1917, which was so bad. But nobody thought it was going to happen.”

Never mind that in much more recent times times than the 1918 Spanish flu, we have suffered through AIDS, Ebola, SARS, swine flu and zika. Is Trump really so stupid that he has no inkling of knowledge about these viral episodes? Or is he just that brazen a liar? By the way, many people were both aware of and concerned about the potential for even more disastrous pandemics, including this guy in October of 2019:

President Biden once again proves who is more mentally adept. Meanwhile, Trump continues to visit only with sycophantic pundits who who shamelessly kiss his – let’s say ring. So he gets away with making the most preposterous statements without any correction by his worshipful hosts. It’s a cowardly pattern of behavior by a frightened and ill-equipped mental midget who only knows how to communicate anger and self-exaltation.

Trump is FREAKING OUT Over Arizona Fraudit Results that Prove Biden Won

The sham audit that Arizona Republicans have been hyping for several weeks is coming to an ignominious end. The Cyber Ninjas have released the results of their phony “forensic review,” and will now skulk back into the shadows from whence they came. Meanwhile, Joe Biden will ignore it all and just continue being President.

Donald Trump

On the other hand, Donald Trump and his contemptible confederates are not ignoring it all. Instead, they are focusing on preposterous accounts of utter nonsense so they can keep pumping out their “Big Lie” BS to his dimwitted disciples. The highly disreputable Cyber Ninjas were ultimately unable to manufacture any voting irregularities. In fact, their end count actually showed a wider margin of victory for Biden, with more votes for him and fewer for Trump.

This state of affairs has sent Trump into a ferocious frenzy as he feebly tries to fit the facts into a constructed reality that he, in his narcissistic stupor, can comprehend. And, true to form, his main method for doing that is to flood the zone with wild, nonsensical outbursts that serve no purpose other than to satiate his mammoth ego and to inflame his followers.

To that end Trump had his spokes-shill, Liz Harrington (whose proxy Trump tweeting is violating Twitter’s rules against circumventing a ban) post a statement asserting that the subpoenas of four of his closest associates (Mark Meadows, Dan Scavino, Steve Bannon, and Kash Patel) were merely a diversion from the the Cyber Ninja fraudit report.

One of Trump’s tweets on Thursday forewarned that “everybody will be watching Arizona tomorrow to see what the highly respected auditors and Arizona State Senate found out regarding the so-called Election!” That tweet didn’t age well. On Friday the report validating the original vote count was released with none of the “proof” of corruption that he and his minions had promised.

But it didn’t stop there. Trump, via Harrington, pounded out a manic maelstrom of 55 tweets alleging election fraud, in spite of the results in the official review. He hasn’t had a Twitter tirade like that since before he was banned. It was a bizarre hodge-podge of unsupported claims with no factual basis or verifiable evidence.

For instance, in one tweet Trump delusionally claimed that the “Lamestream Media are feeding large-scale misinformation to the public about the Arizona Audit. The Audit was a big win for democracy and a big win for us.” In another tweet he simply demanded that “Arizona must immediately decertify their 2020 Presidential Election Results.” He recently made the same demand of officials in Georgia.

It only got worse from there. It just doesn’t matter to Trump – or his cult followers – if the evidence matches his assertions. It doesn’t even matter if his blathering has any resemblance to reality. Trump just lets his rhetorical rambling pour out with the confidence that his simple-minded pawns will obediently buy into it. And he hits them with wave after wave of muddled meanderings to keep them off balance and incapable of noticing that none of it has any intelligible meaning. And, sadly, for some small, pathetic portion of the populace, it’s actually working for him.

Disgraced Trump Toady Rudy Giuliani has Been Banned from … Fox News?

The humiliation of anyone who has ever been foolish enough to associate with Donald Trump is continuing to manifest in ever more wondrous way. His most loyal lapdog in the Senate, Lindsey Graham, has been cast adrift for being caught telling the truth about Trump. The generals that he appointed to high profile posts he now calls “incompetent.” And his Cracker Quack legal team has been excoriated and sanctioned for repeated legal misconduct.

Rudy Giuliani

At the top of Trump’s law infirmity is former New York Mayor and Borat co-star, Rudy Giuliani. The hardships he has suffered for his devotion to Trump already include having had his license to practice law suspended in New York and Washington, D.C. But on Friday he may have received the unkindest cut of all. According to Politico

“RUDY GIULIANI has been banned from Fox News for almost three months. […] The ban extends not just to GIULIANI, but also to his son ANDREW, who has not been on Fox News since he launched his campaign for governor of New York in May despite many requests to go on the network. […] Bookers have told both Giulianis the ban comes from the top.”

That’s gotta sting. Back in the days that Giuliani had more influence than he does as fluffer for a failed former president, he played a central role in getting Time Warner Cable to carry the fledgling Fox News Channel. And this is how they repay him?

Fox News isn’t saying why Giuliani is now persona non grata. But it isn’t hard to surmise that they are worried about the frequency of his flagrant falsehoods. That’s especially true regarding the lies he has been telling about Dominion Voting Systems. Earlier this year Dominion filed a $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit in which both Giuliani and Fox News are named defendants. They are both also being sued by the voting software company, Smartmatic.

It’s fair to assume that Fox News doesn’t want Giuliani on their network digging them into an even deeper legal hole. For the same reason, Fox also refused to carry some advertisements for the MyPillow voter fraud conspiracy crackpot, Mike Lindell. In retaliation, Lindell pulled all of his ads from Fox. And since MyPillow was Tucker Carlson’s biggest advertiser, his show now has only 5th tier ads from reverse mortgage lenders, dubious vitamin supplements, and personal injury lawyers.

With the banishment from Fox News, look for Giuliani to make even more appearances on the puny Fox wannabes, Newsmax and One America News. And he could always resort to scheduling more press conferences at the Four Seasons. Not the swanky hotel. The Philadelphia landscape store between the sex shop and the crematorium. So matter what they are telling you, is future is as bleak as ever.

UH-OH: Trump Mauls His Slobbering Lapdog Lindsey Graham in a Barking ‘Big Lie’ Blowup

The stench of desperation is wafting through Mar-a-Lago as Donald Trump slides deeper into the sewer of his own lies and psychoses. Even as the news breaks that he knew early on that there were no significant irregularities in the 2020 presidential election, he is continuing to disgorge increasingly bizarre and repeatedly debunked claims of fraud.

Donald Trump, Lindsey Graham

On Thursday morning Trump released another statement via his spokes-shill, Liz Harrington (whose proxy Trump tweeting is violating Twitter’s rules against circumventing a ban). Like most of his Twitter tantrums (twantrums?), this one was drenched with malice toward whoever he presently deemed worthy of his persecution and punishment. But this time the punishee was among his most loyal and shameless sycophants, Lindsey Graham.

Trump got wind of some of the excerpts from the new book, Peril, by Bob Woodward and Robert Costa. He surely didn’t read it, but the press has been quoting some of the more scandalous passages. One of them involved an account of how Republican senators Lindsey Graham and Mike Lee reacted to to Trump’s obsession with having lost the election to Joe Biden. As reported by the Washington Post…

“The book, ‘Peril,’ describes parallel efforts by the South Carolina Republican [Graham] and his conservative colleague from Utah, Sen. Mike Lee, to personally investigate the president’s claims of voter fraud as the lawmakers prepared to certify Joe Biden’s victory on Jan. 6.

Graham and Lee, both of whom ultimately voted to certify the results, took the claims of election fraud seriously enough to get briefed on the details, involve their senior staff and call state officials throughout the country. But privately, Graham gave the arguments a withering assessment, according to the book, saying they were suitable for ‘third grade.'”

And that was all it took to trigger Trump’s tempestuous wrath. This isn’t even an issue with Graham speaking out of turn on Fox News. It’s an account from a book that Trump hasn’t read, but would ordinarily dismiss as “fake” news. The tediously long tirade he released rebutting this was rife with seething animosity toward Graham, despite the Senator’s wretched record of Trump-fluffing fealty to the Former Guy:

“I spent virtually no time with Senators Mike Lee of Utah, or Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, talking about the 2020 Presidential Election Scam or, as it is viewed by many, the ‘Crime of the Century.’ Lindsey and Mike should be ashamed of themselves for not putting up the fight necessary to win. […]

“Mike Lee, Lindsey Graham, and all of the other Republicans who were unwilling to fight for the Presidency … are letting the Democrats get away with the greatest Election Hoax in history—a total con job! […] They should be ashamed of themselves.”

Most of the rest of Trump’s harangue was dedicated to his “Big Lie” that the election was “rigged” and “stolen” from him. He insists that the evidence of fraud is “staggering” (a word that he also used in another tweet Monday) despite the inability of him or his legal flunkies (whose licenses are being suspended) being able to provide any of it in more than 60 court cases that they lost. Nevertheless, Trump whines…

“Look at the facts that are coming out in AZ, GA, MI, PA, WI, and other States. If this were Schumer and the Democrats, with the evidence we have of Election Fraud (especially newly revealed evidence), they would have never voted to approve Biden as President. […]

“We are losing our Country! The Democrats are vicious and fight like hell, and the Republicans do nothing about it. RINOs fight harder against Republicans than they do against Democrats. […] The evidence on determinative and wide-ranging Election Fraud is staggering. Your Republican Presidential candidate won in a landslide, but has so little backing from Republican ‘leadership.'”

Trump also complained about the Republicans being politically negligent, asking “Why don’t they have hearings [where] we would all hear the irrefutable facts!” Who wants to tell him that in Congress the minority party doesn’t control the hearings schedule? However, nothing is stopping him from holding a press conference or a MyPillow-style symposium to make the “irrefutable facts” public. He could even produce his “staggering” evidence at one of his cult rallies. So is Trump just another RINO failing to expose the Democrats who “are destroying our Country”?

Trump’s assault on Graham marks another milestone in his mental meltdown. After all, Graham is the guy who insisted that “the Republican Party can’t grow” without Trump. He also said that he wants to “harness the magic” of Trump’s “movement,” while ignoring his “dark side.” And he has pledged to go to war for the principles Chick fil-A stands for.” But even all of that isn’t worshipful enough for Trump. And his dimwitted devotees still haven’t figured that out.

Trump’s Lawsuit Against His Niece Mary and the NY Times is a Confession that She’s Telling the Truth

Among the psychological disorders that Donald Trump suffers from – in addition to malignant narcissism, antisocial personality disorder, and pathological lying – is one that he has displayed for decades: Hyperlitigious Behavior. Trump is notorious for suing his innumerable perceived enemies on blatantly false grounds. Most of the time he either drops the case or goes down in a humiliating loss.

Donald Trump

Trump’s recent courtroom escapades include his ludicrous suit against Twitter, Facebook, and Google. And then there’s his threat to sue (and impeach) House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. there is also his pretend action against CNN.

On Monday Trump announced his latest legal misadventure wherein he is suing his niece, Mary Trump, and the New York Times for, as stated in the filing, “tortiously breaching and/or interfering with his contractual rights and otherwise maliciously conspiring against him.” Because paranoid delusions are another of his known psychoses. According to Chris Jansing of NBC News (video below)

[Trump is] suing the New York Times and his niece, Mary Trump, over a story about his tax returns. The suit accuses them of engaging in quote ‘an insidious plot to obtain confidential and highly sensitive records which they exploited for their own benefit,’ and puts damages at no less than a $100,000,000. Mary Trump issued a statement, among other things, calling her uncle a quote ‘loser’ [actually “a f**king loser”]. The New York Times [whose story won a Pulitzer Prize] called the suit an attempt to silence news organizations.”

There are multiple obvious absurdities presented by this lawsuit. Beginning with the fact that it is alleging that Mary Trump “smuggled” documents from her own attorney to give to the Times. Of course, all of those documents would actually belong to her as part of her prior litigation. So how could they be characterized as stolen?

Uncle Trump’s suit also claims that Mary Trump had broken a non-disclosure agreement that had already been ruled too vague to enforce. Consequently, there is no merit whatsoever to Trump’s pitiful, poorly drafted, frivolous, nuisance suit. NBC’s Tom winter went on to report that…

“As far as this lawsuit, I think an interesting thing here is that it essentially proves the story. Because if the documents were, in fact, fake, there would be no reason here to sue. The president called this totally fake news when the Times started publishing documents about his tax payments and about his tax returns. So this essentially substantiates their reporting because, otherwise, why would you sue and why would you claim damages?”

Exactly! There can be no claim of damages for the release of truthful materials that were already disclosed in a prior proceeding. But Trump’s lawyers are, as usual, too incompetent to grasp the most basic legal concepts. That’s why some them (i.e. Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell) are facing severe disciplinary actions including suspension of their licenses to practice law.

In all likelihood, Trump’s lawsuit will never see a courtroom. If it isn’t thrown out for lacking merit, Trump himself will drop it. After all, he is only exposing himself to much greater legal liability by pursuing this nonsense.

What’s more, the discovery process would force him to turn over even more incriminating evidence. But in the meantime he is using this to deflect from other stories that he doesn’t want people to hear about. Such as the news that he knew that his lies about election fraud were unfounded even as he was disseminating them. That’s how con artists like Trump play the game.

UPDATE: The judge has dismissed Trump’s case against the New York Times saying that it “fail as a matter of constitutional law,” and he ordered Trump to pay all attorneys’ fees and legal expenses.

Fox News Slams Biden’s Stamina Because He Rides Bikes – Unlike Couch Potato Trump

President Joe Biden addressed the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday with a speech that covered an array of topics that are critical to the welfare of the American people and the world (video below). It included passages about the COVID pandemic, the climate crisis, international conflict and diplomacy, global economics and trade, and more. And unlike the address by Donald Trump, no one laughed at him.

Fox News, Joe Biden, Jill Biden, Friends

So it was on this morning that Fox News chose to do a totally contrived story about Biden’s alleged lack of stamina. The sedentary lumps of gall on Fox and Friends considered this bit of fakery and fluff important enough to feature while other news networks were covering the President at the U.N.

Co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy took an especially keen interest in Biden’s health. She delivered the following harangue that was entirely devoid of factual basis. It consisted mainly of infantile taunts and tedious talking points that she cribbed from her Fox News confederates over the past couple of years:

“Being the leader of the free world has to be the most demanding job in the whole world, and he simply does not have the mental or physical stamina to do this job. And that is why his handlers and his wife who, by the way, look increasingly like Visiting Angels, have to schedule in these senior breaks for him so he can take naps and go for bike rides because he can’t concentrate on the job the way he should. I mean, just compare it to president Donald Trump who worked these long, long hours and had impromptu hourlong pressers with the media.”

Notice that Campos-Duffy’s lame assessment of Biden as lacking “mental or physical stamina” is just the recycled sneers that were used against Hillary Clinton five years ago. But what really sets this apart is that her “proof” that Biden’s health is diminished is that he is an avid biker. Yeah, that’s the ticket. And then she asks viewers to compare that with the exercise regime of Trump.

As a refresher, Trump was best known as a morbidly obese junk food junkie who spent up to nine hours every day (Executive Time) watching his “policy advisors” on Fox News and other right-wing propaganda networks. He would frequently avoid doing any work by hitting the links where he rode around in a golf cart all day. He wasted untold hours tweeting either undeserved exaltations of himself or bitter attacks on his foes. And he would occasionally show up behind the podium at one of his cult rallies where he just stood there and ranted for an hour or so. That’s not exactly a challenging workout.

Yet somehow Campos-Duffy and her Fox Friends cast Biden as the nap taker, despite his obviously more vigorous lifestyle, healthful appearance, and full work schedule. But that isn’t particularly surprising considering that Campos-Duffy has distinguished herself previously by blaming First Lady Jill Biden for problems in Afghanistan. She defended white supremacy. She promoted Trump’s “Big Lie” that the election was “rigged.” In other words, she is a fully indoctrinated Trump-fluffer who will do and say whatever her Fox News handlers tell her. That’s how she got her job, and she aims to keep it.

HUH? Tucker Carlson’s Crackpot Conspiracy that Vaccine Mandates Cancel Christianity

Fox News has spent the past year and a half promoting their recklessly pro-COVID, anti-vax agenda. It’s an editorial mission that steered their dimwitted viewers away from the simple, life-saving steps that would protect themselves and others. Consequently, the deadly coronavirus pandemic can now be accurately attributed to the “Fox News Variant” that is infecting and killing mostly Republicans and Trump cult followers at record levels.

Fox News, Tucker Carlson, Bullshit Factory

Fox News hosts and guests are staunchly devoted to spreading disinformation about COVID. However, no one is more guilty of the medical massacre in America today than Fox’s Chief Conspiracy Crackpot, Tucker Carlson. He has promoted the use of quack cures, espoused schizoid conspiracy theories that the vaccines don’t work, and even prodded his viewers to make false police reports of child abuse against parents whose children wear face masks.

On Monday evening Carlson took another step off the cliff of incoherence with a diatribe aimed at building more obstacles to the nation finally recovering from the COVID pandemic. In this episode, Carlson unleashed some bizarre accusations about the intentions of President Biden’s Defense Department mandating coronavirus vaccines for service members. Carlson ranted that…

“The point of mandatory vaccinations is to identify the sincere Christians in the ranks, the freethinkers, the men with high testosterone levels, and anyone else who does not love Joe Biden, and make them leave immediately. It’s a takeover of the U.S. military.

Seriously? Does Carlson actually believe that directing the military to get vaccinated against a virus that has already killed more than 675,000 Americans is a ‘takeover of the military’ by wimpy, Biden-loving, atheists? Does he also think it’s unmanly for soldiers to wear combat helmets? Are Air Force pilots cowards if they use parachutes? That gear, like vaccines, is intended to protect people from known hazards. But in Carlson’s world it is an attack on his holy Christianism and a show of weakness and/or impotence, which Carlson probably thinks is caused by the vaccines.

Carlson’s harangue is off-handedly referring to a faction of phony anti-vaxxers who are pretending to have a religious objection to getting vaccinated. But even far right evangelicals like Robert Jeffress aren’t buying it. Carlson also claimed that there was no need for a vaccine mandate because “Only 46 members of the entire U.S. military have died from the coronavirus over the last year and a half.” And, in Carlson’s view, they were expendable.

However, It should be noted that if Carlson had included the fatalities of military family members, civilian employees, and contractors, there were 473 deaths. Something that Carlson clearly fails to understand is that the wellbeing of the whole military community is critical to America’s defense readiness. While some soldiers are threatening to leave rather than get vaccinated, the prospect of many more becoming sick or dying would be much worse. But that’s only a part of the relevant context that Carlson left out.

First of all, Carlson failed to note that COVID deaths in the military have been increasing in the latest surge. The Military Times reported that “Eight total deaths in the past three weeks adds up to twice the previous monthly high” And the death rate is “25 times higher than it was last year.”

What’s more, according to Defense Department data, the reason for the relatively lower death rates is the high rate of vaccination in the ranks. 89% of soldiers in the Army have had at least one dose of the vaccine, The Marines are at 68%. the Navy is at 90%. And the Air Force is at 99%. That’s an average total of 89% of all service members vaccinated. If Carlson is pleased that there is a lower death rate in the military than the population at large, then if he were honest (yeah, right) he would have to admit that it’s because vaccines work.

So in the end, Carlson’s panic over apocryphal assaults on Christianity, free thinking, and machismo, are, as usual, figments of his perverse imagination. But it fits perfectly into his long-established pattern of fantastical fear mongering and aversion to the responsibility and compassion that decent humans display. And everyone at Fox News, particularly the Murdoch family that runs it, is complicit in the harm that is being done by Carlson and his confederates at Fox to the nation and the world.
