Trump Fumes That Fox News has ‘Gone to the Dark Side’ and Purposely ‘Botched’ His Polling

One of the surest signs that someone has gone completely and irretrievably bonkers is when their psychoses manifest in paranoid outbursts directed at everyone, including their closest associates. And while Donald Trump was long ago recognized as being mentally unstable, his condition only seems to get worse with each passing day.

Donald Trump, Mask, Fox News

Clearly the pressure is getting Trump. Prosecutors in several jurisdictions are accumulating testimony and documentation of his seditious schemes to undermine democracy and overturn a fair election. The House Select Committing investigating the January 6th insurrection that he incited has exceeded expectations in exposing the ethical and criminal misconduct of Trump and his pitifully inept crime syndicate.

RELATED: REPORT: Trump is ‘Fixated’ on the January 6th Hearings and Obsessed with How He is Coming Across

On Tuesday morning Trump took to his miserably failing social media website, TRUTH Social, to vent his spleen regarding his ever increasing legal and political peril. And in this episode he berated his longtime Ministry of Disinformation (aka Fox News) for failing to be sufficiently worshipful. Trump posted the following condemnation of his pals at Fox and Friends…

“@foxandfriends just really botched my poll numbers, no doubt on purpose. That show has been terrible – gone to the ‘dark side.’ They quickly quote the big Turning Point Poll victory of almost 60 points over the number two Republican, and then hammer with outliers. Actually, almost all polls have me leading all Republicans & Biden BY A LOT. RINO Paul Ryan, one of the weakest and worst speakers EVER, must be running the place. Anyway, thank you to Turning Point, the crowd & ‘love’ was AMAZING!”

That’s an impressive heap of hogwash, even for Trump. He can’t simply have a rational disagreement with a segment on the program that he was once featured on weekly. So he leaps straight into “dark side” damnation of his former friends. He asserts, without evidence, that they are purposefully “botching” his polling numbers.

What Trump is freaking out about is how Fox and Friends co-host Steve Doocy reported Trump’s victory in a survey of potential 2024 Republican presidential candidates conducted at the ultra-rightist Turning Point conference in Tampa, Florida. Rather than stopping there, Doocy went on to mention that there were other polls that had different results (video below):

“Keep in mind, Turning Point, a group of young Republican conservative activists from all across the country. So you have got people from all across the country convening in Tampa. I’m thinking about that is a little different than a couple of other polls that we have seen over the last couple of weeks, too. Weeks ago in Florida, Blueprint polling did a poll, [Gov. Ron] DeSantis leads the former president in all age groupings.

“Then there was a University of New Hampshire poll in June. DeSantis actually led Trump, 39 to 37. And that New York Times/Sienna College poll that we’ve cited quite a few times, less than half of Republican voters backed Donald Trump as their preferred choice.”

Well, that was all it took to set Trump off. Never mind that Doocy was uncharacteristically correct. Trump felt compelled to lie, as usual, about leading in “almost all polls” against both DeSantis and President Biden. The truth is that Trump’s standing has severely withered in recent weeks. DeSantis is strongly challenging him in the GOP primary, and Biden is beating in him general election polls.

Nevertheless, Trump may have some cause to worry. There has been a noticeable shift toward DeSantis on Fox News lately. And Fox News magnate Rupert Murdoch’s media empire has recently stepped back from Trump in significant ways. His New York Post published an editorial that concluded by saying that Trump is “unworthy to be this country’s chief executive again.” And his Wall Street Journal castigated Trump’s action and inaction during the insurrection, saying that “he fed the mob’s anger and let the riot play out.”

RELATED: Rupert Murdoch’s Right-Wing New York Post Scorches Trump as ‘Unworthy’ to Be President

Trump’s descent into madness is sure to accelerate as more proof of his malicious malfeasance comes to light, and more of the rats on his vermin infested ship seek to jump overboard to save themselves. The closer Trump comes to indictments and prosecutions, the more frantically and wildly he will lash out at anyone and everyone in his warpath. For the entertainment value alone, it will be hard to find more captivating melodrama streaming on television this fall.

Fox News Bashes Boris Johnson for the Same Things Trump Did, But Still Fawn Over Trump

After a tumultuous tenure as Prime Minister, Boris Johnson has resigned the post amid myriad scandals and cabinet resignations. Donald Trump was a big fan of Johnson and his BREXIT crusade to remove the U.K. from the European Union. Now both have been ousted from office in disgrace.

Donald Trump, Mask, Fox News

That, however, is not the only thing that Trump and Johnson have in common. On Fox News the “Curvy Couch” potatoes of Fox and Friends inadvertently highlighted some of the other unsavory similarities between the two spurned politicians. The segment featured co-host Steve Doocy’s critical summation of Johnson’s departure. But with the changing of a few words, the criticism seems to fit Trump even better (video below). Doocy said that…

“What has happened for years is that the British people did not trust him. He would say one thing and then go do something else. And then pop up in the tabloids. And then with this thing, it’s a question of integrity. He has refused to go, even though people have been calling for him to hit the pavement for a while, because he would say look, ‘I have a mandate. I had an additional 14 million votes from voters who voted for me in 2019. So I’m gonna stick around.”

Just substitute “British” with “American” and you have a pretty good description of Trump. The American people never trusted him. He lost the popular vote (twice) and never reached even 50% approval at any time during his term. He was a frequent dweller in the tabloids due to his relentless lying, constant infantile outrage, and painfully ignorant remarks.

RELATED: Crybaby Trump Bashes Fox News, ‘Perverts’ and ‘RINOS’ Who ‘Didn’t Have the Guts’ to Impeach Him

And of course, Trump refused to go. He still denies that he lost and desperately clings to utterly fictional claims of millions of votes that he never got. The Fox fiends continued saying that…

“Fifty-three government officials called it quits. The government of the United Kingdom and of England was in dire needs of somebody to run different cabinet positions and things like that. And so, apparently, his assistants were trying to fill the positions as quickly as people would quit. But they couldn’t. And they were people in charge of security, the courts, technology, education, finance.”

Many more people called it quits during the Trump administration. And many of those departures were for misconduct in office. Counting only the cabinet officials, in just four years, Trump had five times the turnover of President Obama who served eight years. Consequently, Trump often had “acting” heads of critical departments such as Defense, State, Justice, Labor, Transportation, Energy, Education, Veterans Affairs, Homeland Security, the CIA, and even his White House Chief of Staff. He did this to partially to avoid having get these officials confirmed by the Senate, and partially because he couldn’t find people who were remotely qualified. But that wasn’t all. Fox and Friends co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy added that…

“His problems really started with COVID. It wasn’t clear how he was going to handle COVID. Then he got COVID. He almost died. He said it was really touch and go.”

This entire segment could have served as justification for Trump to have resigned or been impeached (which he was, twice) during his occupation of the White House. But while Fox News regards these facts about Johnson to be evidence of his failure, they still fawn over Trump, whose malfeasance was much worse. At least Johnson never fomented a violent insurrection to defile democracy and overthrow the British government.

Fox News Grossly Distorts Stacey Abrams’ Remarks About Living in Georgia

It’s always a simple matter to determine what and who Fox News is most afraid of at any given moment. It’s revealed in the most obvious manner in how they parcel out their outrage and air time. And as the Republican primary for governor in Georgia approaches, Fox News is, once again, showing their cards.

Click here to Tweet this article

Donald Trump, Hell Hole

The Democratic candidate for governor in Georgia, Stacey Abrams, is running unopposed in her Party. That’s providing her with a significant advantage over the Republicans who are battling over their current governor, Brian Kemp, and the Donald Trump endorsed challenger, David Perdue, who is presently behind by more than thirty points. Trump despises Kemp because he refused to obey Trump’s illegal commands to overturn Georgia’s election results that affirmed Joe Biden’s victory.

RELATED: Trump’s Impotent and Insane Letter Asking Georgia to ‘Decertify’ the 2020 Election

In an effort to impede Abrams’ momentum, The “Curvy Couch” potatoes of Fox and Friends did a segment that was wholly derogatory and dishonest (video below). They played a portion of a recent speech that they deceptively edited and took completely out of context, focusing on a sentence fragment that they could mangle into something incendiary and misleading. What Abrams actually said was that…

“I am tired of hearing about how we’re the best state in the country to do business when we are the worst state in the country to live. Now, somebody’s gonna try to PolitiFact me on this, so let me contextualize. When you’re number 48 for mental health, when we’re number one for maternal mortality, when you have an incarceration rate that’s on the rise and wages that are on the decline, then you are not the number one place to live in the United States. But we can get there.”

The part that Fox News glommed onto was the snippet about Georgia being “the worst state in the country to live.” Knowing that unscrupulous right-wingers would try to twist her words, she immediately made it clear that she was talking about some of the areas in which the current GOP governor was failing the people and the state.

That’s actually a common campaign message by a candidate for any office who is challenging an incumbent. You point out the shortcomings of your opponent and explain how you will improve things. And that’s what Abrams did, even promising a brighter future saying that “we can get there.”

However, Fox News left out the optimistic part of Abrams’ speech so that they could falsely accuse her of insulting the state she’s running to lead. And they totally ignore the realities of campaigning that include exposing your opponent’s weaknesses.

What makes this all the more despicable is that Fox News never holds Republicans to the same standard. Especially not their Dear Leader Trump. There is no politician in modern times who has been more offensive in maligning America than Trump. He often refers to the U.S. as weak and stupid. And his vile, anti-patriotic attacks frequently cast the U.S. as a province of Hades. For instance…

Despite Trump’s obvious contempt for America, his disdain for Gov. Kemp is even greater. So he gave a sort of backhanded endorsement to Abrams last September saying that “having her I think might be better than having your existing governor.” What’s more, his anti-Kemp crusade has produced a backlash that is causing Republicans to vow not to vote for Kemp next November.

That could put Abrams in the awkward position of having to thank Trump for his help during her victory speech. Not that Trump really deserves thanks just for being a hate-filled ignoramus.

Fox News is STILL Pushing the Deadly Lie that COVID Vaccines Don’t Work

After more than two years of accumulated scientific research and field studies on literally billions of subjects worldwide – and more than 200,000,000 in the U.S. – Fox News is continuing to put the lives of their gullible viewers at risk by lying to them about the safety and efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccines.

Click here to Tweet this article

Fox News, Vaccine

This has been their mission from the onset of the pandemic. Fox News has persistently promulgated flagrant falsehoods about the coronavirus. They have said that it would simply go away on its own. They have peddled quack “cures” like Ivermectin. They have obediently regurgitated the asinine blathering of Donald Trump who advocated bleach injections.

RELATED: Fox News is SHOCKED that MSNBC’s Joy Reid Rightly Berated Them for Killing Off Their Audience

All of this was in complete contradiction to what the epidemiologists and health experts have said. In fact, Fox News wasn’t just disagreeing with the experts, they were maligning them as liars engaged in conspiracies to exploit vaccines as some sort of mind control program. They even compared Dr. Anthony Fauci to the sadistic Nazi doctor Joseph Mengele.

The whole world now has documented evidence that vaccines save lives. But Fox News is still stuck in their manufactured narrative that it’s all a hoax contrived by Big Pharma and evil Democrats. And they said so explicitly on Friday morning’s episode of Fox and Friends:

Brian Kilmeade: You tell us the vaccines works, then you stop talking about it. And everybody that’s testing positive for it, like Jen Psaki, four shots. So you wonder why people are having doubts about this whole two year torture, the condescending talk that we’ve been experiencing from that White House.
Ainsley Earhardt: Nancy Pelosi – vaccinated and boosted – and we do wish her well. I hope she’s okay. I wonder if she’s gonna get the monoclonals.
Kilmeade: I heard she’s asymptomatic. Most people are asymptomatic.

Right out of the gate Kilmeade is fictionalizing his rant. While health professionals are indeed telling people, correctly, that the vaccines work, no one has stopped talking about them. To the contrary, most doctors are ardently advising everyone to get vaccinated and boosted.

Kilmeade’s reference to White House Press secretary Jen Psaki exposes another of the black holes in his knowledge base. He thinks that because Psaki tested positive that the vaccines don’t work. Ditto Nancy Pelosi. And it isn’t coincidental that the examples they put forward are Democrats. Because all of this is just more partisan bullpucky aimed at disparaging their political foes.

However, anyone who has been paying attention knows that the vaccines are not a guarantee that the virus will not be transmitted. They are intended to prevent severe outcomes including hospitalization and death. That’s especially true with the newer variants of the virus. And they work extremely well in that regard.

RELATED: Tucker Carlson of Fox News Says ‘Vaccines Don’t Work and They’re Not Telling You’

What’s more, contrary to Kilmeade’s curiosity about “why people are having doubts,” no one is wondering about that. It’s crystal clear that any such doubts have been planted and nourished by people like Kilmeade on Fox News. It’s Fox News that has been been condescending by characterizing vaccines – a quick and easy way to stay healthy – as “torture.” And despite his acknowledgement that many people who test positive these days are asymptomatic, he still doesn’t get that that is because they’ve been vaccinated. The vast majority of fatalities – greater than 90% – are among the unvaccinated.

So if you are wondering why Fox News viewers and Trump followers are the biggest group of Americans suffering and dying from COVID, wonder no more. It is directly due to the knowingly dishonest and purposefully concocted disinformation that Fox News buries their audience under.

And despite all of the evidence that this is true, the callous cretins at Fox stubbornly pursue this deadly course of action without conscience or sympathy. To them it’s just another opportunity to attack Democrats for some fabricated fallacy. They couldn’t care less who it hurts.

Big Baby Trump Whines to Fox News that Reporter ‘Maggot’ Haberman Revealed His Poor Potty Training

The severely stunted emotional maturity of Donald Trump continues to be on display with each new temper tantrum he throws. This is the same colicky man-baby who has been whining that they wanna put me in jail, just because he has committed so many crimes. But then he has also been known to brag that he is, in his own words, the most fabulous whiner.”

Donald Trump, Mask, Fox News

On Saturday morning Trump phoned in to his favorite Fox News morning propaganda program, Fox and Friends, to unleash another half hour of uninterrupted griping. In this episode the of Trump Tirade he was especially worked up about a book by New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman: Confidence Man: The Making of Donald Trump and the Breaking of America.” Among the early excerpts being released is one about how Trump’s aides found that the White House toilets were sometimes clogged due to papers that he had tried to flush down. This report comes on the heels of the news that he had absconded from the White House with boxes of documents – some of which were classified Top Secret – that he was legally obligated to have turned over to the National Archives.

During the Fox News segment co-host Will Cain prefaced his own question for Trump as being “completely out of touch with the American people.” And as far as Fox News viewers go, that would be true, because Fox has almost entirely ignored the story about Trump’s flagrant violation of the Presidential Records Act. This led to the following exchange (video below):

Cain: The big take away is that you have ripped up papers and flushed them down the toilet. What is your reaction on what you’re hearing on other mainstream media channels in this book by Maggie Haberman?
Trump: Yeah it’s fake news and she’s a fake writer. She got a Pulitzer Prize for Russia, Russia, Russia, and then they found out it was a hoax.

For the record, the Pulitzer Prize winning articles Trump is referencing were never alleged to be hoaxes by anyone other than Trump, who once impotently demanded that the awards be revoked. However, Trump does seem to have moderated his infantile insults aimed at Haberman since yesterday when he called her “Maggot” Haberman. Apparently Trump has an insolent seven year old writing his trash-talking points. But Trump wasn’t finished ranting…

“it’s a totally false story. She made it up. I don’t believe they have sources. Who is going to be a source for that anyway? Who would know that? There is no source. They make it up. You know, they oftentimes, these fake writers like her, they act like they know me, like she knows me. I haven’t spoken to her in a very, very long time. She knows me no better than any other writer. They write books like they know and then they make things like that up. There would be no way of her knowing if it were the fact. There would be no way of her understanding that or knowing it. But it’s a totally fake story made up by her.”

Trump is clearly obsessed. In this brief harangue, he babbled that the story was either “fake” or “made up” nine times. So obviously it’s true. What’s more, he is apparently incapable of grasping the notion that toilets clogged with papers are noticeable, and anyone observing them can report it to the press. There have already been verified reports of Trump illegally ripping up papers and throwing them in the trash or in “burn bags” to be destroyed. The taped-together evidence is currently in the possession of the National Archives.

Trump always telegraphs the fears that he is most consumed with at any given time. He will focus on them intensely and repeat them incessantly. This week that appears to be the case with these stories about his illegal mishandling of classified materials. But his fixations on the 2020 election, or the January 6th insurrection, or his tax and financial fraud, or his sexual predation, or any number of other legal and moral offenses over which he has presided, could rise to the top of his diseased mind on a moments notice. He has so many from which to chose.

Fox News Says They Will ‘Build Back Better’ After Their Christmas Tree Fire – No, REALLY!

Tuesday night America, and everything that it stands for, was viciously attacked in an unspeakably despicable act of violence. At least that’s what Fox News wants you to believe. And it’s far more than random vandalism. This time “It’s personal to you. It’s personal to us.”

Fox News, Christmas Tree Fire

The latest “Crime of the Century” according to the “Curvy Couch” potatoes of Fox and Friends was the torching of the Christmas tree installed in front of their Manhattan office building. ABC News reports that…

“A large Christmas tree outside Fox’s Midtown headquarters was set ablaze early Wednesday by an arsonist who was quickly taken into custody. […] Police say the 49-year-old suspect climbed up ‘the metal superstructure’ — the tree is an artificial sculpture that is shaped to look like a tree — lit papers he brought with him on fire, and shoved the papers into the tree structure.”

Let’s just set aside the metaphorical relevancy of the Fox News Christmas tree being a “fake.” This act of arson has much greater symbolic meaning to the Fox News crew. This burning Xmas bush has stirred more fury among these martinets of virtue than Donald Trump’s attempted coup, the January 6th insurrection, or the COVID death toll. Co-host Ainsley Earhardt expressed her outrage saying that…

“This is an American icon. This is our Christmas tree. Someone setting fire to it. What is happening to our country? It is so terrifying as a mother and someone who loves this country and loves the red, white, and blue. What is happening.”

That’s right. The artificial “metal superstructure” adorning the plaza in front of Fox’s headquarters is the embodiment of everything that is American. And it’s reduction to ashes is roasting her chestnuts. Because…

“It’s a tree that unites us. It brings us together. It’s about the Christmas spirit. It is about the holiday season. It’s about Jesus. It’s about Hanukkah. It is about everything that we stand for as a country: Freedom and being able to worship the way that you want to worship. It makes me so mad. […] I hope we build it back bigger and better.”

Wait up. Now Earhardt is signing on to President Biden’s “Build Back Better” plan, but only with regard to a corporate promotional tree? And since when is a Christmas tree “about Hanukkah”? That one is going to need some explaining. But Earhardt is yearning for explanations as she ponders “What is happening to our country?” Apparently this criminal mischief is representative of more alarming adversities in America than just fiery religious symbols. Like maybe gay Legos, or the alleged Santa shortage.

During the segment, co-host Steve Doocy asked “Who set the Christmas tree on fire?” Never mind that the NYPD had already arrested a suspect who appears to be a mentally challenged homeless man. If Doocy is still looking for a guilty party, he need look no further than Fox’s messiah, Donald Trump, who is reported to have said that he intends to “wreck Fox News.” Trump has been bashing Fox for months because they haven’t been sufficiently behind his “Big Lie” that the 2020 presidential the election was “rigged” and “stolen” from him. And another suspect could be the MyPillow guy, Mike Lindell, who recently staged a rather pathetic protest in front of Fox’s office. (UPDATE: Fox News still can’t quit their fixation on this tree arson catastrophe)

Nowhere is the animosity toward Fox News more fierce than among the Trump Cult, who still believe that Fox called the Arizona election results for Biden prematurely. So any of Trump’s dimwitted disciples could be considered suspects. And rest assured that Newsmax or OAN will get Rudy Giuliani on the case any day now. In the meantime, enjoy this amusing holiday carol that really hits the right note:

FAST AND FURIOUS! Fox News is Already Lying to Their Cult Viewers that the Omicron Variant is Fake

This didn’t take long. Less than 48 hours after the Omicron variant of the coronavirus was reported, Fox News has begun their disinformation campaign to make sure that their already dimwitted viewers remain ignorant and at risk.

Fox News, Covid

On Saturday morning’s episode of Fox and Friends, the “Curvy Couch” potatoes engaged in a discussion about the COVID pandemic and the new variant spreading rapidly in South Africa and elsewhere:

Rachel Campos-Duffy: The answer is more lockdowns, more lockdowns. More fear. And therefore, he doesn’t have to do his job of fixing the supply chain because we’ll just keep this whole thing going.
Will Cain: Always a new variant.
Pete Hegseth: Count on a variant about every October, every two years.
Cain: You’re probably right. However, they could speed up the variants. They could come more quickly.
Hegseth: [mimicking phone call] We’re gonna need a new variant here.

So according to these sick and sociopathic Super-spreaders, the Omicron variant is fake. Never mind that it is an international threat affirmed by science. To Fox it’s just a plot by President Biden and Democrats to control Americans. They apparently think it would be a good move politically to shut down businesses and schools; to throw people out of work after achieving the lowest number of unemployment filings in more than fifty years; and to cripple the economy that has been booming ever since Biden was inaugurated. With success like that these Fox News numbskulls think that Biden is now conspiring to put an end to all of it.

And yet, while the Omicron variant is fake to these Fox News pea-brains, over on the alleged “news” side of Fox, where fear mongering is job one, they found a way to treat it as a real threat: Blame it on immigrants. So now a “caravan” of Omicron-infected refugees are headed for the border. The bigotry emanating from Fox is just too predictable.

There is a multilevel idiocy to these remarks. First of all, Fox News has been at the forefront of COVID disinformation from the very start. Consequently, they are responsible for more people being unvaccinated. Studies show that Fox News viewers are significantly trailing viewers of other media in getting vaccinated. Additionally, most recent COVID deaths have been concentrated in red states and counties where Fox News is most viewed.

And if that weren’t bad enough, there is also the psychotic view among the cult of Fox News viewers – who are also Trump cult members – that the vaccines don’t even work. But by remaining unvaccinated they are actually increasing the chances for new and more dangerous variants to form.

And if even that weren’t bad enough, the very same people who believe the virus and the vaccines are all hoaxes by Democrats for reasons they can’t explain, also believe that Donald Trump deserves credit for the vaccines. Former Trump White House staffer, Stephen Miller was on Fox News Saturday saying that…

“If President Trump was still in office, by the way, we’d already have modified vaccines to deal with the new variants. Which is a great point. President Trump brought us vaccines in record time, which he made voluntary, not mandatory. And he’d have updates too.”

Really? Miller seems to think that Trump would have come up with a modified version of the vaccine before the new variant was even discovered. But he would still not advocate for people to get vaccinated because … FREEDUMB!

For the record, Biden has not made vaccines mandatory. He just highly recommends them and requires that people who choose not to get vaccinated be tested weekly. That’s a less strict policy than the one that Fox News imposes on their employees (including the Fox and Friends gang), where testing for the unvaccinated is required daily.

Fox News is continuing to breed the sort of ignorance that is getting people killed and preventing a return to some sense of normalcy. They are spreading lies intended to make life more difficult because they believe that it will harm Biden and help Trump. And their callousness with regard to all of the people who will suffer and die due to their political self interests is reprehensible. But that has always been the mission of Fox News, and it isn’t going to change. The rest of us will just have work harder to make sure they don’t succeed.

Fox News Maliciously Edits Biden Video to Falsely Portray Him as Racist

The obsessive compulsions of Fox News to viciously malign Joe Biden at every opportunity often results in shameless acts of flagrant dishonesty. And when they aren’t lying, some of their attacks are downright hysterical. For instance, their ludicrous criticism that Biden lacked stamina compared to Donald Trump because he rides bikes.

Fox News, Bullshit Factory

In yet another demonstration that Fox News cannot be regarded as a legitimate journalistic enterprise, the network’s morning show, Fox and Friends, ran a video clip that sought to slander President Biden as a racist (video below). The clip showed Biden delivering a Veterans Day speech. During the speech Biden took a moment to wish Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s father (a veteran) a happy birthday.

The “Curvy Couch” potatoes of Fox and Friends were taken aback at what co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy said was “President Biden facing backlash for a comment during his Veterans Day address.” Then she introduced the clip showing Biden saying that…

“I have adopted the attitude of the great Negro at the time pitcher … name was Satchel Paige.”

This sent shivers of horror through the Fox News studio, and then across the right-wing mediaverse that disseminated it far and wide. The problem, however, is that the video Fox News aired was purposefully edited to create a false and derogatory impression. What Biden actually said was that…

“I’ve adopted the attitude of the great Negro — at the time, pitcher in the Negro Leagues — went on to become a great pitcher in the pros, in the Major League Baseball after Jackie Robinson. His name was Satchel Paige.”

So it’s clear that Biden was not referring to Satchel Paige. He was referring to the what was once called “the Negro Leagues” of baseball. Well, it’s clear to anyone who saw the unedited clip. And it’s notable that what Fox cut out was taken from the middle of the quote without any acknowledgement of the edit. So they can’t simply excuse themselves by claiming that they truncated the quote for time. Even Sean Hannity played the unedited clip (although still applying the same dishonest framing), which makes the Fox and Friends fabrication even worse.

Their intent is unmistakable. They are trying to create a thoroughly contrived impression that Biden is a racist. And they are providing their phony “reporting” so that it can be adopted by the rest of the Republican confederacy of mudslingers.

That’s working to some extent as it has already been adopted by Greg Kelly of Newsmax, who accused Biden of using “an old fashioned version of THE N WORD.” And Lavern Spicer, a GOP congressional candidate, told the same lie in a fundraising pitch. And Texas congressman and former Trump White House physician, Ronnie Jackson, joined in. So did many of the right’s Internet propagandists such as Tucker Carlson’s Daily Caller, Breitbart News, and Townhall.

This is typical behavior from Fox News. They know that they can’t make substantive arguments based on facts to advance their extremist agenda. So they manufacture pseudo-scandals to achieve their nefarious goals. And if that means deliberately falsifying video or other documents in order to make a point, they have no ethical resistance to doing so.

FINALLY! Fox and Friends Host Acknowledges the Strict Vaccine Mandate at Fox News

Last month President Biden announced his plan to relieve the suffering and tragic loss due to the COVID pandemic. The plan included proposals aimed at getting more Americans vaccinated in the workplace, in schools, and in government agencies.

Fox News, Cov-Aid

Biden’s plan was received with overwhelming popular support by the American people. That popularity was even affirmed in a poll by Fox News, the nation’s most staunchly pro-COVID network.

Ever since Biden’s plan was made public, and in stark contrast to the results of their own poll, Fox News doubled down on their anti-vaccine rhetoric. They went particularly hard on the concept of mandates, which they maligned as communist decrees and instruments of tyranny. Never mind that the corporate policy at Fox News contained an even stricter mandate than the one in Biden’s plan.

Undeterred by reality, the squawking heads at Fox News lashed out Biden and any of the companies that were implementing vaccine mandates ahead of his initiative, which has not yet gone into effect. But for some reason, they never bothered to mention the “oppressive” mandate under which they themselves were forced to toil. It was always some other enterprise that was abusing its employees.

Well, that error of omission officially ended on Wednesday morning when the “Curvy Couch” potatoes of Fox and Friends brought up the subject. Co-hosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade had a bit of a testy exchange:

Doocy: Our company, like a lot of companies have vaccine requirements. We either had to have gotten the shot or get tested every day. And when we’re in common areas everybody needs to wear a mask. There are a lot of companies coast to coast – I was just looking at brand new ones, General Electric, Union Pacific – are requiring their employees to get the shots. They joined Tyson Food, Walmart, Boeing, IBM, Raytheon, already on board.
Kilmeade: So they’re saying get the shot or you’re fired.
Doocy: Essentially.
Kilmeade: Fantastic. Be prepared to lose 10 to 15 percent of your workforce. I hope that’s okay.
Doocy: Well, people are getting accommodations in certain circumstances.

Setting aside Kilmeade’s counterfactual alarmism (there haven’t been any reports of any significant workforce resignations due to vaccine mandates), Doocy’s belated acknowledgement that Fox News has a corporate mandate is a milestone for the network. It comes as his primetime colleagues are still disseminating disinformation, such as Tucker Carlson’s false proclamation that vaccines don’t work.

Carlson tops the list of those at Fox who have attacked mandates at other companies, while demonstrating their cowardice by ignoring the one that he is silently obeying. Dan Bongino is another, who recently pretended to threaten to quit his radio network because of its vaccine mandate. Although he hasn’t had the guts to say anything about quitting Fox.

It will be interesting to see if any other Fox hosts admit that their employer has a vaccine mandate. But either way, we can rest assured that Fox will continue to deprive their viewers of honest information about the pandemic that is literally a matter of life and death.

As an example, Fox host Neil Cavuto announced yesterday that he tested positive for COVID and is taking precautions due to health conditions that increase his risk. He strongly encouraged viewers to get vaccinated. However, Cavuto’s disclosure and advice has not been mentioned at all on Fox News ever since, although it has been reported on MSNBC and CNN. That should tell everyone something about Fox News’ commitment to the welfare of their audience.

Fox News Exploits Colin Powell’s Death to Fear Monger About Breakthrough COVID Cases

America’s most notoriously pro-COVID cable “news” network, Fox News, is demonstrating just how grossly callous they can be in pursuit of their reprehensible political agenda. There’s a reason that the current state of the coronavirus in the United States can be accurately called the Fox News Pandemic.

Fox News, Covid

On Monday morning it was announced that former Secretary of State Colin Powell had died. The cause of death was revealed by his family as complications from COVID-19. Sec. Powell is now another tragic statistic of a viral plague that has resulted in more than 700,000 deaths and brought grief to millions of American families.

So leave it to Fox News to leap on this announcement in a way that manipulates it in order to bleed some smarmy partisan gain out of it. On Monday’s episode of Fox and Friends, the “Curvy Couch” potatoes couldn’t let this personal misfortune go by without profiting from it politically. Co-host Will Cain offered a perverse eulogy that furthered Fox’s mission to increase the death toll from COVID (video below). After reporting Powell’s demise, Cain said that…

“There will also be conversations about the fact that he was fully vaccinated according to his family and he died from complications from COVID. We are beginning to see statistics like this grow in frequency. We know that the vaccine does wane over time and its ability to protect you from, not just transmission and infection, but from severe complications and hospitalization, and obviously death as well.” [adding that] “all of us are at potential risk.”

Aside from being profoundly disrespectful to the passing of Powell, this is nothing but pure scare tactics to create more of the doubt and hesitancy about vaccines that Fox News has been disseminating since they became available. It is servile conformity to Donald Trump’s anti-vax alt-facts.

Fox News is lying that “statistics like this grow in frequency.” The truth is that deaths from breakthrough cases are extremely rare. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention there have been about 7,000 such fatalities out of more than 187 million vaccinated Americans. That’s about 0.0037%. Not exactly a threat that suggests that “all of us are at potential risk.” To the contrary, it underscores how effective the vaccines are.

Fox also failed to mention that Powell, who was 85 years old, was also diagnosed previously with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer that weakens the body’s ability to protect against infections. These are conditions that put him at greater risk. But Cain wasn’t finished with his dishonest fear mongering. He continued with what he falsely said were “the implications on everyday Americans…”

“The family has made a point on their post on Facebook this morning that Colin Powell was fully vaccinated. And as Americans out there wonder what lies ahead for them and they search and they need truth moving forward, we’re seeing data from across the world. We’re seeing data from Europe, from the United Kingdom, the fully-vaccinated people are being hospitalized and fully-vaccinated are dying from COVID. And here we have a very high-profile example that is going to require more truth, more truth from our government, from our health leaders as well.”

Once again, Cain is repeating the deceitful implication that “fully-vaccinated people are dying” in order to frighten Fox’s already panicky viewers. He also baselessly implies that government and healthcare leaders are being insufficiently truthful. And he goes even further to criticize rational measures to mitigate the pandemic, including mandates for vaccination such as the one that is place at Fox News.

Fox News couldn’t wait even a single day before launching this political exploitation of Powell’s death. They are single-mindedly focused on telling tales of terror to keep their audience shivering and glued to their rancid rhetoric. Consequently, they weren’t about to miss out on this fleeting opportunity to stir dread and doubt among their dimwitted devotees.
