NOPE! Eric Trump Lies that Daddy Gave All Foreign Money Made at His Hotels to the Treasury

The congenital dishonesty of Donald Trump and his family is one of the most reliable indicators of membership in that clan. The patriarch is notable for his having been documented to have told more than 30,000 lies during his occupation of the White House. And his cult followers love him all the more for it.

Trump Baby on Cash Pile

But Trump’s progeny are no slouches either. In the midst of the avalanche of arrests and arraignments of Papa Trump, ‘lil Eric Trump is striving to change the subject and to pretty-up his felonious father as a paragon of virtue. Never mind the four indictments with 91 counts, or the porn star hush money, or the sexual harassment and rape, or the stolen classified documents, or the fraudulent financial filings, or the attempted coup. Eric wants you all to know that Daddy wouldn’t take a penny from foreign officials patronizing his hotels and golf resorts. Also, all of the other charges are trumped up, and he has “proof.”

RELATED: YEAH, RIGHT! Trump Promises an ‘Irrefutable,’ ‘Completely Exonerating’ Report on Election Fraud

On Monday Eric appeared on the official Trump-fluffing network, Newsmax, to deliver his latest reputation make-over. It was a pathetic – and disturbingly manic – performance that sought to cast Donald as a humble public servant, utterly uninterested in profit or personal gain. And if you buy that, you probably also believe that he’s a loving father and a faithful husband. Spinning furiously, Eric said that…

“If somebody came into one of our hotels while my father was president and they were from a foreign country, a government official from a foreign country – you know what we’d do? We’d donate all the money from that margarita they bought at the bar to the US Treasury.”

Sure he would. When he wasn’t busy showing them classified contingency plans for military engagements with hostile foes. Trump would never accept money from foreign officials seeking favor from the United States. Well, except for all times he did just that. As reported by NPR last year

“Documents released by the House Oversight and Reform Committee show extravagant spending from foreign leaders at former President Donald Trump’s luxury hotel in Washington, D.C., which the committee says could have violated his oath of office by distorting U.S. foreign policy for personal financial gain.

“Government officials from Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey and the People’s Republic of China collectively spent over $750,000 at the Trump International Hotel during his presidency, according to committee chairwoman Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y., and, she said, did so ‘at sensitive times for those countries’ relations with the United States.'”

Note that this report deals only with monies received at Trump’s hotel in Washington, D.C. Other more expansive reporting shows that Trump earned as much as $160 million dollars from foreign sources while president. A more expansive investigation by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) found that…

“Throughout his time in office, President Trump, his family and his Republican allies repeatedly assured the public that his refusal to divest from his businesses wouldn’t lead to any conflicts of interest. Americans were promised that Trump would donate his salary, which he did, until maybe he didn’t — all while siphoning millions from taxpayers that more than offset his presidential pay. When it came to foreign conflicts of interest, Trump and his company pledged to pause foreign business. They did not.”

Not surprisingly, the most frequent contributors to Trump’s coffers were from the Middle East and China. But according to Eric even the price of a single cocktail at the hotel bar was too much to hang on to. So maybe Trump reimbursed the twelve bucks for the drink, but kept the ten grand per night for all the rooms. In any case Eric is proving adept at the family business of lying. But then, he’s had plenty of practice.

Trump’s Big News? Blatant Lies About Pence’s Authority to Reject Electoral Votes on January 6th

For nearly three years Donald Trump has been claiming that the 2020 presidential election, where he lost decisively to Joe Biden, was “rigged and stolen” from him. And for nearly three years he has failed to produce a shred of evidence to support his claims, despite dozens of opportunities to do so in court, on television, and at his cult rallies.

Donald Trump, Mike Pence, Hanging

Now, with four criminal indictments pending, Trump continues to whine that he’s the victim of a vast conspiracy orchestrated by Democrats, even though almost all of the evidence and testimony against him has come from Republicans, and largely from his own administration and campaign staff. On Tuesday Trump promised that next Monday he will hold a press conference where he will expose the whole nefarious scheme and unveil a “CONCLUSIVE Report” that will result in all charges being dropped and “complete EXONERATION!”

SEE THIS: YEAH, RIGHT! Trump Promises an ‘Irrefutable,’ ‘Completely Exonerating’ Report on Election Fraud

If anyone believes Trump about any of that, they are terminally naïve. It’s just a pitiful display of dishonesty, weakness, and paranoia, that his glassy-eyed disciples somehow view as veracity and strength. And on Wednesday he posted what may be a preview of his “irrefutable” report on his failing social media sham, Truth Social. He quoted from a Newsmax report about something Mike Pence said in his autobiography last year…

“Big News! Mike Pence said, ‘ I met with the Parliamentarian of the Senate, Elizabeth MacDonough, to discuss the procedures for the upcoming joint session on January 6. She told me that Congress always receives miscellaneous slates of electors every four years.’ Greg Kelly, ‘That’s huge! A game changer in terms of information. It really turns upside down everything the Democrats said about January 6th, and this latest Federal Indictment.’ DROP THE FAKE CASE!”

So Trump is babbling about allegedly “Big News” that he is presenting as affirmation of his preposterous position that Pence could have single-handedly thrown the election to Trump. He’s implying that Pence’s account of what the Parliamentarian told him means that “alternate” electors are common and countable. They are not. And Trump is not only wrong, he is purposefully misquoting Pence in order to deceive his flock of willfully blind devotees.

In his autobiography, “So Help Me God” (published November, 2022), Pence relates how he had told Trump many times that “I did not believe that I possessed the power under the Constitution to decide which votes to accept or reject.” To which Trump complained that “You’re too honest,” and threatened that “hundreds of thousands are gonna hate your guts,” and that “people are gonna think you’re stupid.” Then, after Trump warned him not “wimp-out,” Pence wrote what Trump quoted above, but Trump left out some significant parts (in bold below)…

Later on Sunday, I met with the Parliamentarian of the Senate, Elizabeth MacDonough, to discuss the procedures for the upcoming joint session on January 6 […] I mentioned that I had heard that some alternate electors had been sent from several of the disputed states, and she told me that Congress always receives miscellaneous slates of electors every four years but that there was no alternate slate bearing what was known as a certificate of election from any competing state authority from any of the disputed states.

So, in context, the Parliamentarian is only acknowledging the occasional presence of alternate electors, who may be legitimate replacements in the event that an original elector is unable to fulfill their duties. However, they would come with “a certificate of election” from a “state authority,” and that there were none of those in 2020. She never said that unauthorized, fake electors could replace the real ones chosen by voters.

Consequently, this is neither “huge,” nor a “game changer.” It’s old news that has no bearing whatsoever on Trump’s current legal predicament. And Trump is severely demented if thinks that it “turns upside down everything the Democrats said about January 6th.” It certainly isn’t cause to drop any of the charges against him. To the contrary, Pence’s account provides more proof that Trump knew that he had lost the election and that his efforts to alter the outcome were deliberately dishonest and illegal.

Pence’s decision to comply with the Constitution and certify the Electoral College vote count was not so much heroic as it is expected of every public servant. Still, many of his GOP confederates will chastise him for daring to defy Trump and declining to go along with his anti-democratic, authoritarian aspirations. But that’s where the Republican Party is today. And it’s why no patriotic American should vote Republican tomorrow, or any day thereafter.

Matt Gaetz Guest Hosts Show on Newsmax, Affirming that Both are Unethical Propagandists

The devotion to disseminating blatant disinformation on the part of right-wing politicians and pundits is nothing new. Countless hours, and billions of dollars, have been spent on purposefully lying to advance a repugnant Republicans agenda. Fox News was created specifically to further the goal of making Americans stupider and angrier and deeper indoctrinated in conservative crackpottery.

Matt Gaetz

In recent weeks Fox News has lost a huge chunk of their audience as a result of their editorial dishonesty. First, they were forced to settle a defamation lawsuit brought by Dominion Voting Systems for nearly a billion dollars. Then they fired their top rated host, Tucker Carlson, for reasons not fully disclosed, but probably due to his disparaging remarks about fellow Fox personnel.

SEE THIS: Leaked Video of Tucker Carlson Bashing Fox Nation as a Site that ‘Sucks’ and ‘Nobody Watches’

In the wake of Fox’s fumbles, an otherwise puny competitor, Newsmax, has been taking advantage of the turmoil in the wingnut press. They have enjoyed a bit of a ratings spike, although temporary and still badly trailing Fox. And in an effort to benefit from Fox’s misfortunes, Newsmax pulled a stunt intended to draw even more of Fox’s viewers away. They hired Florida congressman Matt Gaetz (R-Perv) to guest host a program in primetime. He began his debut by assuring viewers that…

“You’re on the right channel. If you’re confused, your eyes are not failing you, and Greg Kelly did not suddenly get better hair. I’m Matt Gaetz.”

It was astute of Gaetz to recognize the potential for confusion among Newsmax watchers. The network, much like Trump, relies on the “poorly educated” for support.

More to the point, Newsmax recruited Gaetz because of his demonstrated ability to lie with a straight face to the camera. Just like the network’s regular hosts. But what’s profoundly disturbing about this is that it appears to be the first time that a sitting member of Congress has appeared as a host of political TV program.

The hosting by Gaetz is wholly unethical for a member of congress who is paid to represent his constituents, not to advance his media career. He has plenty of opportunities to be interviewed on programs like this, but hosting is another matter entirely. Gaetz sits on committees that are debating important issues such as the looming debt default. His hosting gig puts him in a position to direct the editorial content of the program and dispense unfiltered propaganda.

RELATED: Matt Gaetz Drools Over Defunding Law Enforcement ‘If They Do Not Come to Heel’ to the Trump GOP

As for Newsmax, they are boosting the profile of a partisan politician who has a decidedly biased perspective and expecting the viewers to simply accept his as a presenter. Not that Newsmax viewers expect anything resembling neutrality, but it is still a flagrant breach journalistic ethics.

This isn’t the first time that Gaetz has pulled this kind of stunt. He previously guest co-hosted Fox News’ “Outnumbered” as the lone male panelist. That, however, could have been dismissed as an hour long guest appearance, which is precisely what Fox News did. However, Fox hasn’t been hesitant to snatch up former members of Congress and give them their own programs (i.e. Jason Chaffetz and Trey Gowdy).

What’s next for Newsmax? Perhaps they could get Marjorie Taylor Greene to moderate a debate prior to the New Hampshire primary? Or maybe they will let Donald Trump guest host for the week before the 2024 election.

Another way to process the absurdity of Newsmax tapping Gaetz as a guest host can be demonstrated by imagining the horror with which the right would respond if CNN allowed Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to sit in for Anderson Cooper.

On the other hand, putting Gaetz on the air just certifies the political bias of Newsmax. Which could be helpful in determining the outcome of the defamation cases pending against them. In addition to Dominion Voting Systems, Newsmax is also being sued by Smartmatic, another voting software company that is alleging defamation. So Newsmax may be digging its own grave. And for that endeavor, we wish them luck.

Fox News Hack Laura Ingraham Draws Trump’s Wrath for Showing a Poll that Affirms He’s a Loser

The 2024 primary for the Republican nomination for president is already in full swing with five declared candidates vying to upset the party’s entrenched cult messiah, Donald Trump. And that doesn’t even include undeclared, but probable, candidates Ron DeSantis and Mike Pence, and at least eight others.

Click here to Tweet this article

Laura Ingraham, Fox News

For his part, Trump has been waging a feeble campaign from the safety of his Mar-a-Lago bunker, where he frantically posts demented comments on his floundering Twitter scam, Truth Social. Occasionally he will venture out to attend a cult rally or participate in a dreadful, so-called town hall on CNN.

SEE THIS: How Horrible Was CNN’s Lie-Riddled Trump Town Hall? Let’s See What CNN Has to Say About It

On Tuesday morning Trump excoriated his Ministry of Propaganda, Fox News, for failing to be unflinchingly worshipful. It’s a posture he has assumed frequently as of late. Earlier this week he complained about a segment that didn’t damn DeSantis to hell, saying that “He sucks, and so does Fox News.” But on this occasion, the target of Trump’s tantrum was one of his most devoted boosters on the network, Laura Ingraham. Trump bellowed that…

“Laura Ingraham on FoxNews just did a hit piece on me (there go her ratings!) showing some polls which indicate that Ron DeSanctimonious may do better against Biden than I would, when actually polls show that I do MUCH better against Biden than ‘Rob.’ The poll your looking at now, which has me doing far better against Crooked Joe, was just put out by FOX, I am sure unhappily. I’m also leading DeSanctus by over 40 points in Primary Voting. Watch Greg Kelly on Newsmax at 10:00 P.M.”

What triggered Trump was a segment on Ingraham’s show Monday night, wherein her conservative pundit guest blasphemed Trump’s divine infallibility saying that…

“Donald Trump, in almost all the polls that we’ve seen that have been done so far, granted it’s early, is behind Joe Biden. Now Joe Biden is running pretty badly against generic Republicans, maybe against a Tim Scott or against a Ron DeSantis type figure, but he’s consistently beating Donald Trump.”

Ingraham should know better than to ever say anything that isn’t utterly adoring of Trump. Doing so lands you a spot on his ever-growing enemies list. And to suggest that President Biden could defeat Trump – which he did decisively already – is unadulterated heresy.

Trump is doing his part to destroy Fox News, which may be the only thing he has ever done to benefit American society. However, his assault on Ingraham may be wasted considering that she is already rumored to have lost her primetime spot in the wake of the firing of Tucker Carlson. Fox has announced programming changes that would move wingnuts Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfeld to primetime, which would mean Ingraham is pushed out.

Newsmax has been the beneficiary of the Carlson dumping as Fox News ratings have cratered since then, and some of that audience has migrated to Newsmax. Trump’s post exacerbates that exodus as he urges his cult followers to flip over to the ultra-rightist Newsmax during Ingraham’s 10:00pm time period.

As for the battle between Trump and DeSantis, there are several polls that show DeSantis doing better than Trump against Biden. But Trump is known for denying reality and/or deceiving his followers to insist that he is always winning whatever fight he’s in. Never mind that he has been singularly responsible for Republican losses in 2020 and 2022. And there’s no reason not to assume that he won’t have the same impact in 2024. Even without Fox News to prop him up.

Eric Trump Spills to Newsmax that His Father is Guilty of Paying Hush Money to Stormy Daniels

The family of Donald Trump is not known for having a particularly notable ration of intellect. After all, Papa Don’s beliefs include that stealth fighters are actually invisible, that windmills cause cancer, that we should nuke hurricanes, that George Washington’s Army took over airports, and that injecting bleach will cure COVID. That’s not exactly the thinking of a “stable genius,” as he refers to himself.

Fox News, Stormy Daniels

In the wake of his indictment by the Manhattan District Attorney’s office, Trump has gone into a rabid attack mode, going after D.A. Alvin Bragg and anyone associated with the indictment. He has posted dozens of comments on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, mostly linking to sycophantic supporters sucking up to his eminence. And he hasn’t been above inciting violence as a means to “protest” his being brought to justice.

SEE THIS: Trump Warns of ‘Death and Destruction’ if He is Indicted for Crimes that He Actually Committed

Meanwhile, Trump’s son Eric is making the rounds of MAGA media to proclaim that his father is just the helpless victim of the cabal of “Deep State,” “Radical Left,” “Communists,” dispatched by George Soros to destroy him. On Friday Eric “Fredo” Trump was interviewed by Greg Kelly on Newsmax. And he was none too pleased with the news that his sugar daddy had been indicted. So he whined petulantly that..

“They go after my father for what? A non-disclosure agreement which every company in the world, every person in the world does? Thousands of these happen every single day. Stop it. No one buys it.”

Really? “Every person in the world” does non-disclosure agreements? That means there are nearly eight billion NDAs out there. Who knew?

More troublesome for Daddy Trump is that Eric is effectively conceding that his father is guilty. Non-disclosure agreements are generally drawn up in business situations wherein one party seeks to prevent the other from disclosing factual, private information. They are not used as responses to falsehoods. That’s what defamation lawsuits are for. So Eric is effectively admitting that Donald’s “arrangement” with adult film star Stormy Daniels was intended to keep the actual facts concealed.

Furthermore, NDAs are generally entered into voluntarily by both parties, even though one party usually has some leverage over the other (i.e. employer/employee). And there isn’t a payment associated with such a contract. That’s what we usually refer to as a “bribe,” or as in this case, “hush money.” Trump’s payment of #130,000 to Daniels is therefore more accurately described as a financial incentive to buy her silence in order to prevent the harm of the scandal from damaging his electoral prospects.

Finally, Eric’s assertion that there was an NDA is not borne out by any evidence. Neither he nor his father has produced a contract or other legal document attesting to the agreement. The only proof that we have of it are the checks Trump wrote to his then-attorney, Michael Cohen, reimbursing him for the payoff to Daniels. And they don’t spell out any terms.

It is not unusual for Trump to publicly incriminate himself. His big mouth is often the source of the best evidence against him. For example…

And even his attorney can’t be depended on to refrain from damaging his legal status…

SEE THIS: Trump’s Attorney Admits that Trump Lied About Making Hush Money Payments to Stormy Daniels

Nevertheless, according to Eric the Dread, his father’s victimhood is devastating. And it is not only impacting Donald, but an array of the – let’s say “ring” kissers devoted to his MAGA cult. Sadly, they are all on the verge of collapsing from the weight of their depression, as noted by Daily Show correspondent, Desi Lydic…

DirecTV Drops Ultra-Right Newsmax Network and Triggers Trump Temper Tantrum Attacking AT&T

The latest pseudo-scandal to upset the fragile feelings of the conservative mediasphere is the report that DirecTV and Newsmax have failed to reach an agreement on renewing the Trump-fluffing network’s contract. As a result, DirecTV has pulled Newsmax from their service pending a resolution.

Click here to Tweet this article

Donald Trump, Boycott

Predictably overreacting to this news, Republicans in congress, and the ultra-rightist press that props them up, are howling about perceived, albeit imaginary, liberal bias, and are threatening to hold hearings (oh no, not that) to get to the bottom of this atrocity. They did the same thing when DirecTV dropped One America News Network (OAN) last year because nobody was watching it.

RELATED: Trump’s Favorite Propaganda Peddler, One America News (OAN), Gets Dumped By DirecTV (AT&T)

CBS News reports that “DirecTV said it ‘made it clear’ to Newsmax that it wants to continue airing the network,” but that its “demands for rate increases would have led to significantly higher costs” for DirecTV’s customers. This development naturally provoked Donald Trump, America’s “most fabulous whiner” (in his own words), to lash out at DirecTV and its corporate parent, AT&T, saying that

“WOW. AT&T DIRECTV REMOVES NEWSMAX FROM ITS CHANNEL LINEUP. This disgusting move comes after ‘deplatforming’ OAN last year. The Radical Left seems to have taken over the mind and soul of AT&T. This is a big blow to the Republican Party, and to America itself. For DIRECTV to drop very popular NEWSMAX, without explanation, will not be accepted. I, for one, will be dropping all association with AT&T and DIRECTV, and I have plenty. This is just one of many reasons why we must WIN IN 2024!!!”

What Trump is describing as a “disgusting move” is actually the exercise of a private business’s rights in free market capitalism. Republicans used to be in favor that. Now they are openly hostile to both free markets and the free press. They seem to prefer allowing government to force program providers to carry networks that they don’t want. And Trump’s kneejerk assertion that “the mind and soul” of AT&T, a major financial backer of conservative Republicans, has been taken over by the “Radical Left,” is patently absurd.

What’s more, Trump’s complaint that Newsmax was dropped “without explanation” is a flagrant lie. The negotiations between DirecTV and Newsmax broke down due to Newsmax’s insistence on being paid carriage fees for the first time. DirecTV is understandably reluctant to do so because Newsmax is available on other platforms (Roku, Amazon Fire, etc.) for free. It would make no sense for DirecTV to make their customers pay more for a service that, contrary to Trump’s claim, is not particularly popular, and is available elsewhere for nothing.

Unsurprisingly, Trump doesn’t understand that. And he couldn’t care less about whether this is “a big blow to the Republican Party, and to America itself.” He is wholly focused on his own selfish interests because Newsmax is a network that is unflinchingly worshipful of Trump and is home to many of his media mouthpieces.

Therefore, DirecTV’s decision to drop Newsmax “will not be accepted” by Trump. As if that has any meaning. He claims to have “plenty” of associations with DirecTV and AT&T, but the truth is that Trump is an impotent loser who can’t even influence the behavior of his most devoted and glassy-eyed fans. He has called for a boycott of AT&T in the past, without any discernible impact.

In fact, Trump has called for boycotts of numerous companies that failed to be sufficiently adoring of him. They include Fox News, Harley-Davidson, CNN, Apple, Macy’s, Univision, Mexico, HBO, Rolling Stone, Major League Baseball, Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines, JPMorgan Chase, ViacomCBS, Citigroup, Cisco, UPS, and Merck, to name few. Advocating boycotts of so many American companies, and the Americans who work for them, is a bad look for someone who is seeking the presidency again.

SEE THIS: Crybaby Trump Hypocritically Calls Boycotts ‘Vicious’ and ‘Crazed’: Here are 10 of His Own

Finally, the charge that DirecTV is caving in to liberals was quickly disproven. The day after the decision to drop Newsmax. DirecTV announced that they were adding “The First,” another right-wing network with low viewership, to its roster. The First features disgraced former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, and is run by Christopher Balfe, the former CEO of Glenn Beck’s Mercury Radio Arts. That’s not exactly capitulating to the radical left, is it? And besides that, Newsmax has other things to worry about…

RELATED: Newsmax and OAN Added to Smartmatic’s Billion Dollar Lawsuit for Pushing Trump’s ‘Big Lie’

UPDATE: Trump extended on his rant about DirecTV in a subsequent post saying that it “should CANCEL CNN & MSDNC,” because “their Ratings are so pathetically bad.” And he insists that Newsmax and OAN (whose ratings are a fraction of CNN and MSNBC’s) should be put back on because “THE REPUBLICAN PARTY DEMANDS IT!!!” Really? So the media should be forced to do whatever wannabe dictator Trump and the totalitarian Republican demand? Yep, that’s what he believes.

Spawnee Donny’s Fiancé, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Exalts ‘His Excellence’ Donald Trump in Maniacal Rant

Poor Donald Trump. Nothing seems to be going right for him lately. And true to form, the self proclaimed most fabulous whiner.” is whimpering about it incessantly. Whatever makes his cult disciples regard him as anything but a pathetic crybaby is a continuing mystery of modern political posturing.

Fox News, Donald Trump, Kimberly Guilfoyle

So far, August has been a devastating month for Trump and his cult followers. A brief summary of his latest flops include…

In the face of this onslaught of catastrophes, Trump and his defenders are circling their wagons and pretending that everything is hunky-dory. Trump even thinks that the FBI scandal has boosted the prospects of his Republican confederates. And he’s not the only one.

Don Jr’s fiancé, Kimberly Guilfoyle, visited the pro-Trump propaganda network, Newsmax, on Tuesday and, in her inimitable the best is yet to come fashion, belted out a celebratory spiel that exceeded all standards of sanity, even for her. She was so over the top that even host Rob Schmitt tried – and failed – to cut her off (hysterical video below). Guilfoyle raged that…

“People love president Trump and they want him back in the White House. That’s what this is about. Time and time again president Trump has been exonerated. They have been pulling this stuff on him for six years, starting with illegally wiretapping him.”

There is so much wrong with that that it requires a bit of rational review. First of all, the only people who “love” Trump are the brainwashed disciples who have abandoned critical thinking and any adherence to truthfulness. And the only people who want him back in the White House are power hungry and/or frightened Republicans, and shadowy figures with phone numbers in Moscow.

Secondly, Trump has never been “exonerated.” In fact, he is a seething cauldron of guilt for crimes ranging from operating corrupt charities and universities, to bank and tax fraud, to election tampering, to obstruction of justice, to witness intimidation, and most recently to mishandling classified documents and lying to the FBI.

Furthermore, Guilfoyle is regurgitating the long ago debunked nonsense that Trump had been “illegally wiretapped.” It never happened, and was even refuted by Trump’s own Justice Department way back in 2017. That, however, didn’t stop Trump from lying about it some more as recently as February of this year. But Guilfoyle was just getting started. She went on to say that…

“[Trump] is singly the most persecuted person in American political history. People who are Democrats, Independents, Libertarians – whatever you want to say – they’re all coming out in droves to say they support the president. So all they have done is just magnify his excellence 10x more, to the point where the American people are begging, literally I see people every day begging him to run again in 2024. And we would only be so lucky as a country because he’s the only thing standing between them and us.”

Bragging that her sugardaddy-in-law is the “most persecuted person in American political history,” isn’t the defense that she thinks it is. Rather, it points to the abundance of criminal allegations swirling around him. And if Guilfoyle really believes that Democrats are “coming out in droves to say they support the [former] president,” she’s even more cognitively impaired than Trump is. Which would also explain her jarring pairing of the words “his excellence” in a sentence referring to Trump.

What’s more, Guilfoyle is just fanning the flames of cultism with her ludicrous assertion that people are “begging” Trump to run again. In fact, a recent poll shows that only 39% of registered voters expressed any such interest in another Trump candidacy. Likewise, she is elevating him to superhero status by claiming that he alone is “standing between them and us,” whoever they are. As for another Trump term in office, he has just provided a preview of what his agenda would be. And it isn’t pretty…

Lauren Boebert Tells Newsmax that They Eat Dogs In Venezuela Because They Don’t Have Guns

At what point do we throw up our hands in the air and concede that Republicans are are just a perverse comedy troupe trying to punk America? Because that appears to be only way to make any rational sense of some (most) of the blitheringly idiotic things they do and say.

Click here to Tweet this article

Lauren Boebert

It would explain so much. It would explain how every Republican can get away with voting against the gouging of gas prices. It would explain how the GOP can vote against healthcare for veterans poisoned in the line line duty. It might even explain how a former reality TV game show host, who believes that windmills cause cancer and bleach injections cure COVID, came to occupy the White House, and still has supporters after being impeached twice and trying to overthrow the government.

RELATED: Trump Projects His Own Dementia on Biden in a Nauseating Mash Up of COVID and Election Fraud

The Republican Party is really giving Saturday Night Live some serious competition. And there could be no better example of that then what Rep. Lauren Boebert (CO-QAnon) said during an interview with former Trump flunky Sebastian Gorka on Newsmax Sunday night:

“If the citizenry of America is disarmed, then we are no longer citizens. We are subjects. You know, here in America we have gourmet treats for puppies. We have these amazing groomers for dogs. Well in Venezuela they eat the dogs. And it started because they don’t have firearms. They do not have a way to protect themselves, to defend themselves against a tyrannical government.

Indeed. American citizenry is defined by each individual’s personal arsenal. And American democracy is admired around the world because it provides “gourmet treats for puppies,” just like it says in the Constitution. Never mind that Boebert is imagining a scenario wherein all Americans are disarmed., something no Democrat has ever suggested. Although, perhaps we shouldn’t dwell on Boebert’s affinity for “amazing groomers.”

The key point that this GOP member of Congress was intent on making was that America’s lax gun policies have kept the nation from consuming it’s canine friends. Having the freedom to own all manner of weaponry, even military assault rifles, is what separates us from the heathens in Venezuela.

Boebert doesn’t mince her words. She flatly states that the reason Venezuelans eat dogs is because “they don’t have firearms.” That’s true. After all, if the dogs had firearms they would mow us down in the street if we tried to approach them with steak knives and BBQ sauce.

It’s difficult to grasp how Boebert got from gun regulation to doggie dinners. But that’s because we don’t have the kind of twisted sense of humor that she does. It’s because we don’t ignore facts, such as that much of the Venezuelan population is so poor that often dogs are the only source of food available.

Boebert’s stab at comedy comes at time when actual comedians are taking more serious positions on matter of critical importance to the nation. Jon Stewart has been lobbying Congress to pass the veteran’s healthcare legislation that the Republicans have been voting against. And Stephan Colbert sent Triumph, the insult comic dog, a rubber puppet, to Capitol Hill to confront members about the January 6th insurrection that was incited by Donald Trump.

Triumph is lucky that the hungry Democrats in the House of Representatives didn’t tie him to a spit with an apple in his mouth. Although, it is important to note that Triumph managed to escape with his life even though he and his human handlers were all unarmed. And with no help from Boebert, either.

Newsmax (and Trump) are Still Obsessed with (and Afraid of) Cassidy Hutchinson’s Jan 6 Testimony

Two weeks ago, Cassidy Hutchinson, the aide to Trump’s former chief of staff, Mark Meadows, testified before the House Select Committee investigating the January 6th insurrection that was incited by Donald Trump. And ever since then Trump has been noticeably agitated and frantically determined to malign her in the most grotesquely personal manner.

Donald Trump, Twitter

Trump’s fear and animosity, while hateful and dangerous, was understandable considering what Hutchinson revealed. Her testimony affirmed that Trump was aware that weapons were present at his January 6th rally speech, and that he “didn’t f—ing care” because “they aren’t here to hurt me.” She also disclosed Trump’s seething anger had erupted into food flinging temper tantrums. And she told the Committee that White House lawyers were worried about criminal charges, and that several members of Congress had sought pardons from Trump.

The fact that Hutchinson’s testimony was so broadly viewed by record TV audiences is also likely a source of intense dread for Trump, as well as the Trump-fluffing media that worships him. For instance, Newsmax host and fawning Trump sycophant, Greg Kelly, attacked Hutchinson Monday night saying that…

“Cassidy Hutchinson … They are still obsessed with her. I think quite frankly, one of the reasons why they’re talking about her testimony so much is based on her appearance. I do. She’s an above average person when it comes to looks. but very below average in other ways, I am told.”

It’s hysterical that Kelly says that some ambiguous “they” are obsessed with Hutchinson, when clearly he’s the one whose fixation is so unrelenting. And like a lovesick – albeit misogynistic – adolescent who can’t admit his infatuation, he demeans her by reducing her impact to merely her appearance. Even in that regard, he can’t simply say that she’s pretty, only “above average.” Then he concludes by insulting her intelligence, which he attributes to some other unnamed source.

Which brings us to Trump, who the following morning posted a slanderous comment about Hutchinson on his pitifully failing Twitter clone website, TRUTH Social. It was the sixth time he’s attacked her since she testified, despite repeatedly insisting that he “barely knew or even recognize” her. He ranted…

“Can you imagine the Unselect Committee, which was formed solely for the purpose of bringing down my ‘numbers, or worse, relying on the fake and made up stories, already largely debunked, of a female scam artist, Cassidy Hutchinson, who desperately wanted to go with the Trump Team to Florida long after January 6th, and went ‘crazy’ when she was told no. They called her a ‘leaker’ and worse, didn’t want her.”

Let’s just set aside Trump’s pathetic whining about the Committee’s purpose, and his ludicrous assertion that anything revealed to date has been debunked. Trump eventually got to his main point, petulantly disparaging Hutchinson as “a female scam artist.” Never mind that he couldn’t cite a single example of anything she said that was untrue. And like every other critic that has come out of his own administration, he portrays her as a low-level, incompetent, bent on betraying him for some reason.

You have to wonder why Trump hired so many people who were disloyal losers. But the answer may just be that he is projecting the two most prominent components of his narcissistic, so-called personality. In the the opening statements of Tuesday’s Committee hearing, vice-chair Liz Cheney said that…

“President Trump is a 76-year- old man. He is not an impressionable child. Just like everyone else in our country, he is responsible for his own actions and his own choices.”

That’s an exceedingly generous characterization of Trump. While he is certainly “responsible for his own actions and his own choices,” and he must be held accountable for them, it’s also painfully obvious that he is, in fact, “an impressionable child,” at least in his emotional maturity, or lack thereof. And we can expect more of these infantile outbursts going forward in his appearances with the suck-ups on Newsmax, and in his own comments on TRUTH Social, if it isn’t shut down first.

Crybaby Trump Whines on Newsmax About the Increasingly Incriminating January 6th Hearings

As the hearings by the House Select Committee investigating the January 6th insurrection continue, the twice-impeached, former reality TV game show host who incited it is becoming ever more rattled and desperate. Donald Trump has been seething with rage that is fueling his latest round of lies and infantile insults.

Donald Trump WTF

Not satisfied with posting his rants on his failing TRUTH Social Twitter clone, Trump spent some quality time with the fawning sycophants at Newsmax (video below). The resulting “interview” with Trump toady Rob Finnerty was notable only for Trump’s relentless and tedious repetition of his “greatest hits” from the past, including crowd pleasers like “Russia, Russia, Russia,” the Ukraine extortion, and of course, his “Big Lie” that the 2020 presidential election was “rigged” and “stolen” from him. Trump also had his spokes-shill post the video of this interview on Twitter, after she and Trump swore never to tweet again. That lasted just three weeks.

In the Newsmax interview, Trump eventually did get around to more current news being made by the January 6th Committee. And not surprisingly, he was fixated on Tuesday’s witness, Cassidy Hutchinson, assistant to Trump’s chief of staff, Mark Meadows. The main point that Trump sought to make was that he hardly knew the top aide to his highest ranking White House staffer. That’s an admission of a remarkable state of cognitive disengagement.

After being asked the first question, Trump rambled endlessly about the Committee that is so effectively illuminating his legal and moral malfeasance. He began by replying to a question about Hutchinson’s testimony:

“I thought it was absolutely crazy. This committee is, a lot of people say, illegally formed. But when you look at what they’re doing, and what they’re saying, and what they’re doing to their country – and now the good news is a lot of people aren’t watching, a lot of people aren’t listening to it – but they’re trying to do real harm.

First of all, the only people saying that the committee was “illegally formed” are the voices in Trump’s diseased cranium. And as for whether people are watching, Trump surely knows that the ratings have been through the roof. Well, except for Fox News where viewers were so afraid of being exposed to actual facts that they refused to tune in. But Trump’s outburst was only just beginning. He continued raging that…

“This lady yesterday [Hutchinson]. There’s something wrong with her? Is there something wrong? She said I jumped from the car and I started strangling? Think of this…I started strangling a Secret Service agent who I know very well. I grabbed the steering wheel of a car. Said that I wanted guns at my rally. I didn’t want guns. I have to speak too, and I didn’t want guns for anybody.

Taking his cue from the Trump-fluffing, right-wing media, Trump focused on a brief part of Hutchinson’s testimony that was actually her representation of what she was told by someone else. The only report of it being disputed was via an anonymous source who wasn’t there either. Virtually everything else she said was first-hand and corroborated. And in regards to his willingness to allow guns into his rally and the subsequent riots at the Capitol, Trump himself was the source. He told the crowd at his speech that he wanted the Secret Service to remove the magnetometers that scan for weapons so that his audience would be bigger.

Moving on, Trump said that Hutchinson was “living in fantasyland,” and is “social climber.” He complained that “it’s shame that this is happening to our country,” and that there weren’t any Republicans to dispute the testimony. Although he immediately acknowledge two of them: Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney. But he dismissed them because Kinzinger has announced that he isn’t running for reelection, and Cheney is “down by 35 points.” As if that has anything to do with the substance of the hearings.

What Trump didn’t mention is that it was GOP minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and the Republicans who opposed the creation of an independent, non-partisan commission to conduct the investigation. And he has no standing to complain about representation considering that he ordered his supporters (i.e. flunkies) not to cooperate with the Committee. And there is nothing stopping him from appearing before the Committee to tell his side of the story, except for his own cowardice and consciousness of guilt.

Trump also repeated the debunked lie that he offered 10,000 National Guard troops to protect Congress – from his supporters?. Then he segued to whining that the media didn’t report how big his crowd was and, of course, more ranting about how the election was “rigged” and “stolen” from him. For which he still hasn’t been able to provide a shred of evidence after more than a year and a half and sixty court cases.

During the interview, Trump also criticized Fox News. Finnerty specifically mentioned the moment when Bret Baier noted that Hutchinson’s testimony was “very compelling from beginning to end,” and “really, really powerful.” Trump replied saying that “Fox doesn’t put it [election fraud lies] on and, by the way, you people don’t put it on either. You’re afraid of being sued or something. [and you will] probably cut what I’m saying out.”

Actually, Newsmax has already been sued, along with Fox News and others, for defamation by two voting systems companies: Dominion and Smartmatic. The only thing puzzling about this is why Trump isn’t a defendant in those lawsuits. However, Finnerty assured Trump that his lies would be included when the interview aired, along with his attack on Fox News.

It is obviously in the interest of Newsmax to disparage Fox, the network that Newsmax host Greg Kelly recently called “fake news.” Which is a deliciously ironic turn of events. As is Trump accusing Newsmax to its face of planning to alter the interview. It just affirms that Trump is solely obsessed with how he is presented, even when he’s whining on friendly forums like Newsmax.
