Trump Has a Full Blown Schizoid Meltdown Over the Prospect of Yet Another Criminal Indictment

The legal melodrama that has shrouded Donald Trump for years continues to unfold as new and more chilling plot points are unveiled with each passing day. The latest wrinkle in his farce is a comment that Trump posted on his floundering Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, announcing that special counsel Jack Smith has notified him that he is a target in the probe of the January 6th insurrection.

If this notice is true (and it’s always sketchy with anything that Trump says), it will be his third felony indictment, exceeding the 70+ felony counts he is already facing. The abundance of crimes that are attributable to Trump is so massive that he’s even using it to put off his multitude of prosecutions. The poor guy just doesn’t have time to deal with all of his wrongdoing.

Trump responded to the news of this new imminent indictment the way he always does. By lashing out with unbridled hostility, while utterly failing to make any coherent argument in his defense. It was a tedious tirade that rambled on with hysterical run-on sentences and crammed with every talking point he could think of, including his yelping about imaginary offences (i.e. spying on his campaign, fake dossiers, the Mueller Witch Hunt, and Russia, Russia, Russia) He whined…

“WOW! On Sunday night, while I was with my family […] HORRIFYING NEWS for our country was given to me by my attorneys. Deranged Jack Smith…sent a letter (again, it was Sunday night!) stating that I am a TARGET of the January 6th Grand Jury investigation.”

It’s cute that Trump regards his being indicted again as “HORRIFYING NEWS for our country.” That’s his standard messianic playacting wherein he’s dying for the sins of his cult followers. The majority of the country, however, recognizes that the horror is Trump’s alone. In fact, most Americans believe he’s guilty. The horror would be letting him get away with his crimes.

Trump complains correctly that “Nothing like this has ever happened in our Country before.” But that’s only because no other political leader has dared to commit such blatant misconduct, and to do it so openly, even admitting to it in many of his pathetic public commentaries. His tantrum also included this morsel of mental instability…

“So now, Joe Biden’s Attorney General, Merrick Garland, who I turned down for the United States Supreme Court…”

Does Trump really think that he “turned down” Merrick Garland for the Supreme Court? Garland was nominated by President Obama, and his confirmation was stalled by Republican Senate leader, Mitch McConnell. And all of that was before the 2016 election. What’s more, does Trump really want to take credit for Garland not being confirmed? That led to his appointment as Attorney General by President Biden, and the special counsel investigations against him.

Adding to the evidence of Trump’s madness, he reposted six (count ’em, 6!) comments by the illustriously credible, ultra-MAGA, “Catturd,” including one that called for the impeachment of Merrick Garland, Chris Wray, and, of course, President Biden. Trump approvingly replied to the feline fecal matter’s conclusion that “The Republican Party = spineless, worthless, good-for-nothing cowards.”

It’s hard to disagree with that assessment of the GOP. Particularly since most members of the party are still bending over backwards to defend Trump as his indictments pile up. Which poses an interesting dilemma for Trump, who once insisted that candidates under felony indictment have “no right to be running.” It’s hard to disagree with that too.

GOP INQUISITION: Marjorie Taylor Greene Wants 500 ‘Potential Suspects’ Drug Tested for Cocaine

In what Republicans and Fox News have deemed to be the “Crime of the Century,” a small amount of cocaine was found in a heavily trafficked area of the White House. Naturally, the knee-jerk response from the right has been to accuse – without proof – President Biden and/or his family, of being responsible for defiling the otherwise pure presidential sanctum.

This is typical of the GOP’s administration of “justice.” They engage in tedious and interminable shouting fits that malign the President and Democrats, despite not having a smidgen of evidence to support their wild accusations. It’s what the Republicans are presently doing in the House of Representatives by staging frequent and pointless hearings intended only to spread derogatory disinformation about their political foes.

On Thursday the Secret Service completed their investigation of the cocaine matter and concluded that there wasn’t the necessary evidence to identify the culprit who brought the substance into the White House…

“‘No fingerprints or DNA turned up on the baggie of cocaine found in a lobby at the White House last week.’ The Secret Service said: ‘Without physical evidence, the investigation will not be able to single out a person of interest from the hundreds of individuals who passed through the vestibule where the cocaine was discovered.'”

Within minutes, the Republican Shadow Speaker of the House, Marjorie Taylor Greene, was giving a press conference to cast aspersions on the President, the Secret Service, and the FBI. She told the gathered reporters that…

“[The Secret Service] were able to narrow down a list of approximately 500 people that had left a small bag of cocaine. […] It makes no sense to me whatsoever why they would not follow through on one simple task, and that is to drug test a list of 500 people that they have that are potential suspects for this. […] This was a failure of this investigation.”

This is mind-bogglingly dumb on so many levels. First of all, it is not an investigatory achievement to “narrow down” a list of prospective suspects to a mere 500. That would be an unwieldy batch of persons for any police department to probe. What’s more, it wasn’t narrowed down. It was actually the entire accounting of everyone who had gone in and out of the area over the days in question.

Nevertheless, Greene’s proposal to drug test every one of them is absurd. Setting aside that it could be a violation of their 4th and 5th Amendment rights, it wouldn’t prove anything. Even it there were positive results for cocaine, it wouldn’t mean that they brought any into the White House. They might have been exposed at a party the day before. And there are some prescription meds that can produce false positives.

However, the most troubling aspect of Greene’s proposal is that it represents a horrifying expansion of government tyranny over presumed innocent people. Forcing 500 people who have done nothing wrong to undergo involuntary drug testing is the sort of oppressive overreach that Republicans like to pretend they are against. It would be the sort of heavy-handed behavior of an autocratic regime that denies civil rights.

Greene is also profoundly hypocritical. She is among the Republicans who regarded the Department of Justice search of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort/residence as an affront to his civil liberties, despite their having obtained a search warrant after demonstrating to a judge that there were legal grounds for the search. And they subsequently found the classified documents they were looking for, after Trump had lied about having them.

Speaking of Trump, he has also been making preposterous allegations about the cocaine belonging to President Biden and/or his son, Hunter. He told a MAGA video blogger that…

“In my opinion it’s Hunter and probably Joe, because, you know, you watch Joe at the beginning of his speech and he’s got a little life. Not much, but he’s got a little life. By the end of the speech he’s a disaster. He can’t even find his way off the stage. So there’s something going on there.”

Trump, an alleged Adderall abuser, may know something about juicing his public performances. However, his description of Biden’s speeches is wholly disconnected from reality. And his perverse conception of justice was reflected this week when he advocated the death penalty for Hunter Biden for not paying his taxes. These are the sort of people who are now yammering about how to respond to the discovery of a small amount of cocaine. If Biden ran his Justice Department by Trump and Greene’s standards, Trump would have been in shackles in Gitmo a long time ago.

WHUT? Trump Asks to Delay His Classified Docs Trial Because of All His Other Criminal Trials

Poor Donald Trump. He is under such a crushing burden these days, simply because of his affinity for stealing classified documents, storing them at his Palm Beach home/hotel, and then lying to the FBI and other authorities about having them. Now he is facing the legal consequences of his misconduct and can’t seem to fit it into his schedule.

As Trump’s legal peril intensifies, he is becoming ever more unhinged and racked with rancor and unbridled hostility. He’s lashing out at his perceived persecutors, especially the special counsel, Jack Smith, who Trump calls a “deranged” “thug” bent on destroying his aspirations to become America’s first dictator.

On Monday evening, at the very last moment, Trump finally responded to the special counsel’s motion to move his trial date to December 11. That’s four months later than the judge originally scheduled it. But that still isn’t far off enough for Trump. In response, Trump didn’t actually suggest an alternate date. He asked that no date whatsoever be chosen. He wants the trial delayed indefinitely. But if a date is set, it should be after the 2024 election, a year and a half away. And his reasons are downright laughable. Trump’s filing says that he can’t possibly defend himself properly in December because…

  • He’s too busy with other criminal and civil trials.
  • He’s too busy running for president.
  • He says that “There is no ongoing threat to national security interests nor any concern regarding continued criminal activity.”
  • He says that he can’t seat an impartial jury in the midst of a presidential election.

What a brilliant legal maneuver. Trump is using the fact that he’s such a prolific criminal that his logjam of trials have to be spaced out for many months to avoid colliding with one another. If this works it might inspire other defendants to give it shot. For instance, a murder could kill four or five more people so that his pending trials would have to be postponed for months or years.

Additionally, Trump thinks his candidacy for the Republican nomination for president suffices as a delaying tactic. This strategy might help the aforementioned murderer as well. He would just need file papers to join the GOP campaign and – voila – his trial date is shelved indefinitely. And as an added bonus, he’d fit right in with the Republican candidate roster.

What’s more, Trump is claiming that his trial can be waived off because he allegedly doesn’t represent any “ongoing threat to national security.” Never mind that he may still have more classified documents at his other resorts and villas, and his daily tirades that smear prosecutors, judges, and political foes, put all of their lives in jeopardy. His very campaign is itself a threat…

Finally, Trump is pretending to be concerned that it would be impossible to find impartial jurors while an election is in progress. First of all, what is known as the “60-day rule” is a Justice Department policy (not a law) that seeks to avoid any legal proceedings within 60 days of an election so as not to influence the voting. Trump is absurdly stretching that out to a year and a half.

More to the point, there is no logical reason why it would it be any more difficult to seat a jury now than it would be in 2025. What Trump is really interested in is the prospect that he, or another Republican, would be elected in 2024, and his case would be dropped or he would be pardoned. In other words, he’s hoping for sanctuary, not acquittal. He knows that he’s guilty and there’s mountains of evidence to prove it. He also knows that most Americans – including 25% of Republicans – believe that he’s guilty.

Under the circumstances, there are no rational reasons to delay Trump’s trial. And clearly, Trump and his attorneys have pitifully failed to articulate any. To his advantage, the judge assigned to the case, Aileen Cannon, is a Trump flunky who could just put off the trial because she feels like it. But anyone paying attention to the law would seek a speedy trial. In fact, anyone paying attention to Trump would argue that he shouldn’t even have the right to run. He said so explicitly…

Trump Says ‘Deranged’ Special Counsel Staged Photo of Trump with Suspected Obama Stalker

Donald Trump, Insane, Straight Jacket

On Saturday morning Trump ventured into the true crime story of one of his cult disciples, Taylor Taranto, who was arrested this week with a cache of weapons near the home of former President Barack Obama. Taranto was also wanted for his participation in the January 6th insurrection in Washington, D.C., and authorities alleged that he “had threatened to blow up [his van] at a government facility.” In other words, he was a typically deplorable Trump devotee.

In his Pravda Social post, Trump lashed out at special counsel Jack Smith in his tediously repetitive fashion, referring to Smith as “deranged,” a condition that Trump should be familiar with. He was triggered by a photo of Taranto with his arm around a cardboard cutout of Trump.

Apparently Trump wasn’t pleased with the media reporting factually that Taranto was a longtime Trump supporter who was prone to violence. It wasn’t that Trump was bothered by the association. He was bothered that it was made public. Consequently, he raged that…

“This picture is a ‘cardboard cutout’ of me put out by the Fake News Media and probably supplied to them by Deranged Jack Smith and the Department of Injustice for purposes of Election Interference. Weaponization of ‘Justice’ is the new way that the Radical Left Democrat Lunatics will CHEAT in the 2024 Presidential Election. WE WILL STOP THEM!!!”

Notice that nothing in Trump’s comment is critical of what Taranto did to get arrested. Nor does he condemn the violence. He’s cool with all of that. However, he brazenly lies about the source of the photo as being “supplied to [the media] by Deranged Jack Smith and the Department of Injustice for purposes of Election Interference.” In reality, the photo comes from a Washington state Republican dinner in 2018, while he was still occupying the White House, and long before the special counsel probe.

Trump’s aversion to the truth is well established. And his obsessive hostility toward his perceived enemies is beyond psychotic. So naturally, he views Smith with contempt. Earlier the same day Trump posted that…

“Deranged Jack Smith, the wacko prosecutor that Corrupt Joe Biden and his Thugs stuck on me during the political campaign in which Biden is losing ‘BIG’ (an absolute No, No!), just announced that he has spent over 9 million dollars, already, on this continuing Witch Hunt. Biden’s Special Prosecutor, by comparison, has spent almost nothing. Prosecutorial Misconduct for purposes of Election Interference!”

It seems that Trump forgot that his infantile nickname prefix for Biden is “Crooked,” not “Corrupt.” But at least he is consistently maligning Smith as “Deranged,” despite how remarkably intelligent and focused he appears by all accounts.

Trump also claims that “Biden and his Thugs” “stuck” Smith on him. Although Biden had nothing to do with it. And Trump’s complaint that the “Witch Hunt” cost $9 million is evidence of Smith’s effectiveness. He’s already produced more than 60 felony counts in his indictments. John Durham, the special counsel appointed by Trump’s Attorney General, Bill Barr, spent about the same amount. But in nearly four years he only charged three people, one of whom pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor, and the other two were found not guilty at trial.

Finally, while Trump would like to believe that he can’t be prosecuted with an election coming up, that policy refers to elections that are within 60 days, not a year and a half. So if Smith continues to proceed expeditiously, and Trump fails to obstruct with delays, his trial can go forward.

In the meantime, expect Trump to continue to dispense lies, hatred, and incitations to further violence. Hopefully he will have the same measure of failure with that that he does with everything else that he attempts.

The polls that Trump posts are, of course, invariably positive. His malignant narcissism demands that he be exalted at all times. While he does post some polls from mainstream sources, others are conducted by right-wing outfits that are shamelessly slanted. He even posts some Twitter polls conducted by such reputable figues as “Catturd.” Only rarely does he post anything that shows him losing. And when he does, it’s only to whine and rebuke the faithless reprobate…

SUCH AS: Fox News Hack Laura Ingraham Draws Trump’s Wrath for Showing a Poll that Affirms He’s a Loser

Politico just completed a new poll that reveals the nation’s views of Trump’s legal tribulations. And given the results of the poll, we should not expect him (or Fox News, or any of his media or political flunkies) to promote it. Unless it’s to bash Politico for having the audacity to publish anything that demeans Dear Leader. According to Politico…

“Forty-nine percent of respondents — including 25 percent of Republicans — said that they believe Trump is guilty in the pending federal prosecution, which alleges that he willfully retained sensitive government documents after leaving office and obstructed a subsequent federal investigation.

“A nearly identical 48 percent of respondents — including 24 percent of Republicans — believe that Trump is guilty in the Manhattan DA’s pending prosecution, which alleges that Trump falsified business records in connection with a payment to the porn star Stormy Daniels in the run-up to the 2016 election in order to keep her quiet about an alleged sexual relationship between the two.”

The only thing surprising about the broad-based results of this poll is that the number of those who believe that Trump is guilty isn’t higher. However, it is a bit surprising, and welcome, that a quarter of Republicans are convinced of Trump’s guilt. But don’t expect Trump to “truth” that poll, if he is even permitted to see it by his handlers.

The Politico poll is not the first to show that Trump is losing ground among the American electorate. A recent NBC News poll found that, while Biden and the Democratic Party are not exactly universally adored, Trump and the GOP are roundly hated and are underwater by more than 20%. And Trump won’t be pleased to learn that only 33% of Republicans identify as Trump supporters.

It is likely that Trump posts so many of his rosy polls as a defense mechanism to convince himself that he is the shining object of everyone’s creepy desire. He needs to satisfy his humongous, yet fragile, ego. So whenever you hear Trump fluffing himself and boosting his position among the public, remember that he is a pathological liar with psychotic self-esteem issues. The truth that Trump cannot escape is that he was the most unpopular president in modern times, and continues to reach ever deeper depths of disrepute.

Donald Trump: Presidential Candidates Under Felony Indictment Have ‘No Right to Be Running’

Trump himself is the foremost dispenser of this prefab hypocrisy. He excels at making public statements that are diametrically opposed to his prior statements, even when they were merely minutes apart. It’s such an obvious diversion from reality that it’s possible it isn’t hypocrisy at all, but a more serious mental deficiency.

For much of the past few months, Trump has been immersed in anxiety over the multitude of crimes he has committed and the legal accountably that he is now facing. He has been been indicted twice on than 60 felony counts ranging from falsifying business records, to obstruction of justice, to violations of the Espionage Act due to his theft and hoarding of classified documents.

Regarding those documents, Trump has floated numerous hypocritical explanations for keeping them at his Mar-a-Lago home/hotel. He has variously claimed that they don’t exist, that they were declassified with his mind, that they were planted by the FBI, and that they actually belong to him. Clearly, it isn’t possible for all of those excuses to be true. But as the Hypocrite in Chief, Trump doesn’t care.

Now that Trump is an indicted suspect in dozens of felonious acts, he is lashing out at law enforcement and prosecutors, many of whom he appointed. And the fact that he’s a criminal defendant doesn’t seem to be an impediment to his campaign. In fact, he brags that his polling goes up with each new charge.

However, that was not always his opinion of presidential candidates under investigation. Reporters at CNN recently reached back to Trump’s 2016 campaign when he was running against Hillary Clinton and was calling on the feds to “lock her up.” What they found were Trump’s feelings about that state of affairs, at least at that time, were markedly different…

“Trump made the comments nearly seven years ago about Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential campaign.

“’We could very well have a sitting president under felony indictment and ultimately a criminal trial,’ Trump said during a November 5, 2016, campaign rally in Reno, Nevada, reviewed by CNN’s KFile. ‘It would grind government to a halt.'”

[And that…]

“If [Hillary Clinton] were to win, it would create an unprecedented Constitutional crisis that would cripple the operations of our government. She is likely to be under investigation for many years, and also it will probably end up – in my opinion – in a criminal trial. […]. She has no right to be running.”

There are significant differences between the probes of Clinton and Trump. For one, there was never any credible evidence of Clinton having committed a crime. Consequently, she was never indicted. She was, in fact, eventually exonerated in full. Trump, on the other hand, has been indicted on 60+ felony counts. And there is voluminous evidence in both material documents and testimony from Trump associates, including his former attorneys.

So if Trump were interested in showing some principled consistency in his views, he would immediately drop out of the race. After all, he is “likely to be under investigation for many years,” which would “cripple the operations of our government,” and “grind government to a halt.” But consistent with his practice of Olympic-grade hypocrisy, we should not expect Trump to hold himself to the standards he imposes on others. In his mind he is immune from any judgment or punishment because everything he does is “perfect.”

Trump Crime Syndicate: Investors Arrested for Insider Trading in Failing Truth Social Scam

The criminal tendencies of Donald Trump and his felonious fellowship continues to be exposed by law enforcement authorities who have still only scratched the surface of his nefarious and rampant wrongdoing. He has demonstrated for decades his conviction that he is above the law and entitled to violate it whenever it suits him.

Trump is currently awaiting trial on more than 60 felony counts resulting from his criminal activities. The charges pending against him range from falsifying business records, to unlawful possession of classified documents, to obstruction of justice, and much, much more. This is the behavior of a mob boss bent on building an organized crime operation, even if he isn’t particularly good at it.

On Thursday it was reported that Trump’s associates in his truthless, anti-social media venture, “Truth Social,” were arrested and charged with insider trading. According to CNN…

“Federal prosecutors arrested three investors on Thursday on insider trading charges related to a deal to take former President Donald Trump’s media business public.

According to the indictment, the three individuals together made more than $22 million in illegal profits in October 2021 by purchasing shares in Digital World Acquisition Corporation (DWAC) after secretly learning about the blank-check firm’s plan to buy Truth Social owner Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG).”

Shortly after Trump’s Truth Social was announced, it was tied to the special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), DWAC. The law prohibits SPACs from discussing potential acquisition targets prior to their formation. But obviously the word about the Trump connection got out. The stock immediately ran up to $175.00, which is where the indicted investors bailed out with huge gains. The stock now sits at about $12.00.

There are reasons that the stock has cratered. The whole enterprise is a sham that is failing pitifully. It cannot grow its user base or attract advertising. Meanwhile, the reputation for illegal activity on Trump’s part has been evident in the affairs of his Truth Social disease. What follows are a just a few of the licentious legal landmarks for the illicit enterprise:

Trump has no basis for this suit. For one thing, he is constantly claiming that his Pravda Social is a massive success, greatly eclipsing Twitter. Also, it’s hard to defame a business that began as a fraud and went downhill from there.

As for Trump, he was reported to own 90% of TMTG, which earned him less than $200 according to his financial disclosure. That’s hardly representative of the huge success that Trump has claimed Truth Social to be.

The report notes that the sources of the funding include the off-shore Paxum Bank, based in the Caribbean island nation, Dominica. It is notorious for “providing banking services for the pornography and sex worker industries, which makes it higher risk of engaging in money laundering and other illicit financing.”

Advertisers are afraid of their ads being juxtaposed with hate speech and other noxious content. Consequently, the only advertisers who are willing to shell out are sketchy scammers, conspiracy theorists, and junk peddlers.

In addition to the Grand Jury proceedings, the SEC is investigating whether TMTG and DWAC executives improperly coordinated with each other and engaged in insider trading. They have also partnered with a Chinese firm with a dubious legal past.

As a bonus, it turns out that Trump bailed on his crooked company just weeks before subpoenas were served. He removed himself and Don Jr from the board of TMTG and is no longer named as the company’s chairman. But if he thinks that will enable him to escape legal liability, he’s going to be sorely disappointed.

UPDATE July 7: DWAC and the SEC have reportedly reached an agreement regarding the company’s merger deal with TMTG. According to CNN, “If it’s approved, the SEC will enter a cease-and-desist order with the company, finding DWAC violated ‘antifraud provisions’ connected to initial public offering filings. [and] If DWAC amends its IPO filings, it will have to pay the SEC an $18 million civil penalty after the closing of any merger deal.”

UPDATE August 4: DWAC’s auditor has resigned, signaling deeper problems with the SPAC’s finances. They now need to find another auditor before they can complete their deal with Trump Media, which increasingly looks like it may never go through at all.

UPDATE August 10: DWAC has again extended their deadline to complete the merger with Trump’s TMTG. The new so-called deadline is December 31, more than two years later than the original completion date.

Fox News Hack Viciously Attacks Biden and Garland After Release of Incriminating Trump Tapes

We are living in what an old Chinese curse described as “interesting times.” These are times wherein Donald Trump seems to confess to, or implicate himself, in a new crime every day. His pitiful public pleadings are often inadvertent admissions of guilt, even as he is attempting to assert his virginal innocence.

Fox News, Joe Biden, Fake News

On Monday CNN released audio recordings of Trump from July 2021 (listen to them here), wherein he is heard divulging the contents of classified documents to people who did not have the required security clearances to hear them. The whole conversation has the demeanor of jovial barroom banter. It was definitely not a meeting about national security. Trump is heard bragging about the classified documents that he has previously said didn’t exist, or were declassified with his mind, or were planted by the FBI.

According to CNN…

“Trump’s statements on the audio recording, saying ‘these are the papers’ and referring to something he calls ‘highly confidential’ and seems to be showing others in the room, could undercut the former president’s claims in an interview last week with Fox News’ Bret Baier that he did not have any documents with him.”

Among the incriminating remarks on the tape are Trump saying that “They presented me this – this is off the record but – they presented me this,” and “See as president I could have declassified it. Now I can’t, you know, but this is still a secret.” So the tapes confirm that Trump had the classified documents, and that he knew that they were still classified. That’s proof of a violation of the Espionage Act. And refusing to return these documents, even after being subpoenaed, is obstruction of justice. And it isn’t the first time that Trump’s own words convicted him.

Naturally, Trump’s tendency to incriminate himself is quickly intercepted by his sycophants at Fox News. This time it was Mark Levin who tweeted an extended harangue that was filled with untruths and slander. What follows are a few choice excerpts…

“[T]he corrupt Biden DOJ, sleazy Jack Smith’s office, and the usual corrupt media lapdogs [have] committed scores of felonies, interfered in a presidential election, and have pushed the nation to the brink of some kind of civil war, while smearing and denouncing Trump.”

“The thoroughly corrupt Biden family and Biden regime use the power of federal law enforcement against their political opponents (“MAGA extremists,” pro-lifers, parents — all ‘white supremicists,’ whatever that means).”

“AG Garland, corrupt to the core like most mob lawyers [is} a dangerous man with Stalinist characteristics.”

“Garland has stonewalled appointing a special counsel to investigate his boss, Joe Biden, because he wants to smother with a political pillow Biden’s multiple criminal activities, that even involve our national security.”

“Jack Smith, known for Gestopo-like [sic] tactics…”

“Garland, Biden, his operatives, the hopelessly corrupt media, and the Democrat Party are destroying our country right before our eyes.”

“This latest prosecutorial leak of an audio clip to CNN, is further intended to poison a jury pool and deny the former president due process.”

“To be clear, we know nothing about the context of the audio. Nothing. We are fed exactly two minutes via CNN, a favorite state-run media outlet. We know no more or no less than they tell us. And the multiple felonies committed by the regime in leaking the tape will be ignored.”

Nearly all of the above are putrid and puerile insults that Levin disgorges without even trying to provide any supporting arguments. Although it’s telling that he doesn’t what “white supremacist” means. The one assertion of an alleged fact – that “Garland has stonewalled appointing a special counsel to investigate his boss” – is just patently false. Garland did appoint a special counsel to probe Biden’s classified documents six months ago. And unlike Trump, he voluntarily returned them and invited authorities to search further.

What’s more, Levin asserts, without evidence, that the tapes were the result of a “prosecutorial leak.” However, it is much more likely that the tapes came from Trump or one his associates on the recordings. After all, Trump himself believes that the tapes are “actually an exoneration” of him. So from his warped perspective it would make sense to release them to the media. He raged on his floundering Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, that…

“The Deranged Special Prosecutor, Jack Smith, working in conjunction with the DOJ & FBI, illegally leaked and ‘spun’ a tape and transcript of me which is actually an exoneration, rather than what they would have you believe. This continuing Witch Hunt is another ELECTION INTERFERENCE Scam. They are cheaters and thugs!”

That is just another demonstration of Trump’s acute psychosis. He thinks that the blatantly incriminating tapes exonerate him. However, a more qualified legal analyst has a markedly different opinion. Former federal prosecutor Andrew Weissmann told MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell “This is game over if you are following the facts and the law.”

Scared and Desperate Trump Begs Congress to Save Him From the Meanies Prosecuting His Crimes

The legal comeuppance of Donald Trump is continuing on its course in a fairly rapid fashion since he was officially indicted on 37 felony counts ranging from obstruction of justice to violations of the Espionage Act. A trial date has been set at August 14, although there are expected to be routine deferments.

On Wednesday special counsel Jack Smith provided Trump’s attorneys with discovery materials that include grand jury witness testimony. Which means that Trump now knows who will be testifying against him and what they’ve said. And if Trump wasn’t frightened before he was indicted, he surely is now.

The morning after Trump’s legal team received the truckloads of evidence from Smith, Trump took to his floundering Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, to vent his seething outrage and fear. in a series of all-caps rage postings, Trump revealed his descent into dread and reached out in anguish for help from his flunkies in Congress…

“CONGRESS, PLEASE INVESTIGATE THE POLITICAL WITCH HUNTS AGAINST ME CURRENTLY BEING BROUGHT BY THE CORRUPT DOJ AND FBI, WHO ARE TOTALLY OUT OF CONTROL. THIS CONTINUING SAGA IS RETRIBUTION AGAINST ME FOR WINNING AND, EVEN MORE IMPORTANTLY TO THEM, ELECTION INTERFERENCE REGARDING THE 2024 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. IT WILL BE THERE (sic) UPDATED FORM OF RIGGING OUR MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION. LOOK AT THE POLLS – THEY CAN’T BEAT ME (MAGA!) AT THE BALLOT BOX, THE ONLY WAY THEY CAN WIN IS TO CHEAT. STOP THEM NOW!”

Could this pleading be any more pathetic? Here we have a former president imploring his troll army to leap to his rescue from the fearsome clutches of justice. It’s especially pitiful considering that the Republican gnomes he is relying on to do battle with the “witch hunters” are so inept. There is nothing they can do to stop the wheels of justice from turning. Although they have threatened to defund and/or abolish the DoJ and the FBI, which they can’t do without the Democratic controlled Senate and President Biden’s signature.

Trump continues to argue that he is the victim of forces determined to destroy him as “RETRIBUTION AGAINST ME FOR WINNING.” Of course, in the real world he lost decisively to Biden in 2020, his candidates failed miserably in 2022, and he has done nothing to grow his meager and dwindling base of support since then. So he resorts to posting anxious outbursts whining that “The Radical Left Investigations of me now…are a SCAM,” and wild accusations such as…

“Congress will hopefully now look at the ever continuing Witch Hunts and ELECTION INTERFERENCE against me on perfectly legal Boxes, where I have no doubt that information is being secretly “planted” by the scoundrels in charge.”

That’s right. The “perfectly legal Boxes” that he refused to turn over, and purposefully tried to hide, contain documents that were “planted” by law enforcement. Those are the same documents that he previously claimed didn’t exist, or were declassified with his mind, or were all returned, or that belonged to him. And the fact that Trump has “no doubt” as to the information being planted should seal the case since he’s such a bastion of credibility.

For the record, this isn’t the first time that Trump has floated the smear that the documents were planted. And with that inanity, along with his baleful beseeching of Congress for deliverance from the demons of democracy, he can look forward to a future of political purgatory.

Squeaker McCarthy Thinks Hunter Biden’s ‘Sweetheart Deal’ Enhances His Sham Congressional Probe

After a years long investigation, President’ Biden’s son Hunter is finally being held legally accountable on charges relating to unpaid taxes and unlawful gun possession. It’s what Republicans and have been drooling about relentlessly ever since Biden was inaugurated.

Notice that Democrats aren’t complaining about this, because they actually honor the law. But now that Hunter has been charged, his GOP pesterers are less than thrilled. They regard the plea deal that he accepted with prosecutors as a too lenient “sweetheart deal.” Which is ironic because one might think that Republicans would support people who resist paying taxes and embrace gun ownership. But no. Because Hunter’s last name is Biden he must be severely punished no matter how minor the crime.

Trump himself is appalled that Hunter is getting “a mere ‘traffic ticket'” as punishment. He whines that “Our system is broken.” However, he could have had his own plea deal if he were willing to admit his obvious guilt. But he arrogantly refused. And in disparaging the justice system he neglects to acknowledge that the U.S. Attorney in Delaware who charged Hunter was a Trump appointee.

In Congress the Hunter case has ignited a flurry of allegations that there is a two-tier justice system. They’re right, but not in the way that they think. Hunter received a sentence that is line with other defendants on similar charges. It’s Trump who has so far gotten off easy. And his criminal accomplices do so as well. For instance, Trump whisperer Roger Stone settled a $2,000,000 tax evasion case last year with zero jail time and not even any probation.

The Republican Speaker of the House, Kevin McCarthy, weighed in on the Hunter matter as well. And he exhibited his notoriously deficient capacity for logic and reason. McCarthy told reporters that…

“It continues to show the two-tier system in America. If you are the president’s leading political opponent, the DOJ tries to literally put you in jail and give you prison time. But if you are the president’s son, you get a sweetheart deal. Now this does nothing to our investigation. It actually should enhance our investigation because the DOJ should not be able to withhold any information now saying that there’s a pending investigation. They should be able to provide [House Oversight Committee] Chairman [James] Comer with any information that he requires.”

McCarthy’s suggestion that the Hunter resolution “enhances” the sham probes he is conducting is downright absurd. Republicans in the House are going after Hunter and President Biden on matters that are completely unrelated to the ones just wrapped up in Delaware. James Comer, chair of the House Oversight Committee, is trying desperately to manufacture crimes of bribery and corruption from thin air. In fact, he even admits that the evidence he has been harping about doesn’t exist. And his “star witness,” who no one has talked to in three years, seems to have disappeared.

What’s more, McCarthy thinks that the resolution of this Hunter case means that the FBI can’t withhold information about totally unrelated pending investigations. Which makes no sense at all. The fact that other investigations are still in progress is justification for the FBI to decline McCarthy’s inquisition.

For his part, Comer continues to expose his biases and legal prejudice. In his response to the Hunter plea deal he said that…

“Hunter Biden is getting away with a slap on the wrist when growing evidence uncovered by the House Oversight Committee reveals the Bidens engaged in a pattern of corruption, influence peddling, and possibly bribery.”

Comer still hasn’t presented a shred of his allegedly “growing evidence,” or any hint of the criminal “pattern” that resides in his imagination. He went on to say that “We will not rest until the full extent of President Biden’s involvement in the family’s schemes are revealed.” Which further reveals that he has already predetermined Biden’s guilt, despite having no legal basis for that conclusion.

Meanwhile, McCarthy and his Ministry of Propaganda, Fox News, continue to disseminate lies and make hollow threats. It’s all that they have available, considering that they have utterly failed to accumulate any of those little things that we know as facts and evidence. And they will persist in that farce until they are thrown out of the majority next year.
